Our poki bowls were fresh and delicious! The staff are courteous and great at explaining all of the ingredients. The restaurant was very clean and inviting, nice family friendly atmosphere, well done!

The food is BOMB and the staff is always the absolute friendliest. They must be giving good benefits or paying well cuz they have the happiest employees in Nashville, ha. The ingredients are also so fresh and every combo I’ve done has been incredible. Not to mention they have those stubborn craft sodas and they are delicious. A+ to this place and more should people should try. Bonus: 9/10 times I’ve been there they give a small free sample of something and is a very sweet gesture. Love this spot and always leave happy and full. Download their app if you want loyalty points for free toppings and discounts. A+++

I got the salmon poke bowl with brown rice and substituted the avocado cream with wasabi cream (I have an avocado allergy). It was very good! I also got the matcha boba. It was sweet and refreshing. The service was so sweet and helpful. Parking here is very easy. There is a big lot with lots of parking spaces. It's also right next to a Trader Joe's just in case you need to get some groceries as well.

Kate and Taylor made this an experience instead of just a meal out! They were friendly, upbeat, and walked us through all of the options of making our custom poke bowls. Including helping us understand original mix ins and sauces based on taste profiles, and letting us know when something would be an up charge. The food was just as incredible as the service! Can’t wait to go back here again to gain rewards and I’ve heard I get a free bowl on my birthday 😱🤩

The customer service was nothing short of amazing! They did a great job of informing us about the menu items, and took our trash when we finished. This was my very first time trying Poké, and the owner of this establishment offered a lot of guidance in deciding what I wanted to order. After my meal, one of the employees allowed us to sample Dole Soft Serve, and it was delicious. The poké ingredients were very fresh! This was an amazing experience and deserves ten stars!

Food is delicious, fresh, and great variety with the bowls. They also load up the bowls and do not short you on serving size. We ate our meal outside on lawn on a perfect sunny afternoon. When we finished, one of the employees came out to take our bowls back in and offered us free samples of their ice cream dessert. Was excellent! Great food and service. 10/10

I enjoy walking into this place every-time that I do. I am always greeted well. The service is above and beyond. Very clean! Super friendly environment. Food quality is amazing. Full of flavor! Wow! I've never been to Build Your Own Poke bowl place. We were greeted immediately by staff and the owner. They were so kind & welcoming. They walked us through the process and encouraged to us to try their various options before we made a decision. I opted for a spring salad mix as my base, with octopus, spicy tuna & salmon for my proteins (mind you, I'm not normally a tuna fan but theirs is made with their own in-house spicy sauce and it was delicious!). The poke was fresh, delicious and didn't make me feel sick afterwards. They brought the food to our table once we were seated. They checked in on us and took away our finished bowls (we paid before we sat so they really didn't have to do that) and they brought us little samples of their orange & pineapple Dole whip which were both equally delicious- hubs favoured the orange and I favoured the OG pineapple Lol. We are so grateful for the very sweet experience.

I have been here many times now and they NEVER disappoint! Fish is fresh and toppings and sauces are flavorful and the service is the best. It's always clean and inviting. I've dined in as well as ordered take out and the food is consistently delicious. I also want to throw in that the family who owns this franchise are awesome. They're great people who obviously take pride in their restaurant. I always look forward to coming in. My favorite poke in Nashville!

We are from Southern California and came to Nashville to visit friends and stopped in at Island Fin Poke for lunch! Lunch was amazing, as there are many options to choose from to make your bowl delicious. From savory to sweet, so many topping options. There was definitely freshness in every bite! To add, they also serve boba milk team and frozen dole whip! Everything was delicious! Give it a try, you won't regret it!

Yes please! Come support a local business owner. I've been here 2 times already as it's close by. The too good to be true price of $14.99 you can add everything you want (they do up charge for certain ingredients like masago and avocado, normal) and they have very fresh and delicious ingredients, sauces and toppings. They offer different kind of fountain drinks not from Coke or Pepsi. They are located in the shopping center next to Trader's Joe. Plenty of parking. They have a pretty chill atmosphere and they also have seating outside for the summer. Come check them out.

Amazing food and phenomenal service from the owner!! Their poke is so fresh and their sauces are all homemade and they have very unique combinations, and I love that you can get a lot of toppings as part of your bowl. I built my own and I got the ahi tuna, salmon, and spicy tuna. I love how they toss your poke (non flavored choices) in sauces of your choice. You can try the sauces. Typically at other poke spots, the non-marinated fish tastes plain, but it's so flavorful since they toss it in sauce. Their sauces are flavorful and they have some special ones that you cannot find somewhere else. Awesome service - the owner came up to check in on how everything was when I was eating. The woman who made my poke and was so patient and explained everything about the sauces and the process to create the poke bowl. They even gave me a sample of dole whip! It tastes really good and it's not too sweet. They have Dole Whip happy hour 3-6pm, how cool is that ! So much seating, very spacious.

I came here with a group of friends, we didn't get any of the food but we were in the area and saw that they had 50% dole whip during happy hour so we decided to stop in for a try. We've been to Hawaii a few times and were all excited to find that there was a restaurant that offered dole whip in Nashville. For only $2, I was impressed with the amount they gave. It comes in a large cup and even though the middle is hollow, they still give you a good portion. They also had some games on the table so it's a great place to hang out with some friends and get some good Hawaiian food, I'll definitely have to come back and try their poke.

I was very satisfied with customer service, the owner went above and beyond to guarantee our satisfaction. I didn't have any meat on my bowl, so I can't speak to that. But the other ingredients and sauces were delicious. There are so many sauces to try! Also, the most reasonably priced in the area I think.

I have been wanting to try Island Fin Poke and I finally got my chance yesterday. The girl working behind the counter was super helpful and answered all of our questions and made great recommendations on what we should try. My poke bowl was fantastic! Fresh and healthy food that I could feel good about eating. Afterward we got a sample of the Dole whip, and it was so good! I only wish you could order a small size, but my husband will just have to share one with me next time. After the spicy poke it was the perfect cool treat. Thanks for a great experience, Island Fin! I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in today to pick up dinner. Seriously one of the cleanest restaurants I've seen. Everything looked and tasted AMAZING. Made our own bowls and they were fabulous. Will be back.

Not only they have a good selection of poke, toppings and sauces, the staff is always super friendly. There are some premium toppings that cost extra. They will give out sample of their Doyle Whipped! It is delicious. Now, they even offer boba. I look forward to trying their boba drinks at the next visit.

The owners invited our leaders to check them out for lunch. The space is clean, colorful, and inviting! This was my first time having poké so I wasn't really sure what to get, but the crew explained everything thoroughly and made my choice making easy. My bowl was DELICIOUS I had shrimp, salmon, and octopus with tho ono ono finishing sauce. Definitely would recommend. Me and my son went today for lunch and had the same experience. Still smiling faces, still incredibly tasting food!

***Delicious flavors, fresh (and premium!) ingredients, super allergen conscious, and very friendly owners and staff.*** Y'all this place is a GEM! Island Fin makes all their sauces in-house, and for my fellow GF eaters out there, this is your haven: all the sauces are GF (they use GF soy sauce! As a default! It's wonderful!). Lots of unique ingredients I've never seen at poke either: pineapple mango salsa, pickled daikon radish, etc. Delicious. Seriously, I cannot stress how kind and helpful the folks are who run this place. They're patient and kind, taking time to explain things to kids and newcomers alike. Plus, they gave us a sample of Dole Whip as a lil treat! Might be the best poke place ever. This is going to be a new staple for us!

The food is always amazing!! The staff is super helpful and patient if you don't know what you want. They give great suggestions to you depending on what you like. The inside is also very nice and well-kept. The only downside is that it is a little pricey. overall 10/10.

Not bad for Nashville but here were a few indicators that it's still not great poke yet- the ginger was the lower grade red-dyed ones instead of fresher yellow ginger. Sauces ideally should be defined on their menu (I can't tell what a few of them were just based off the name/would taste like so hard to choose those options). Salmon also looks mass produced/not as fresh/diced way too tiny-- just needs to be more fresh and bigger. Avocado was also a rip-off -- $4 for a quarter of it lol. I wouldn't come back only cus I've had better.

Clean and new poke spot in town! We are alway pumped for new island eats to hit the scene. My husband is from Oahu and Japanese so we miss all the seafood in Nashville. Super excited to try today but it left us all very disappointed, we didn't even finish our bowls! We filled our bowls with lots of goodies and every bite left you missing something. It lacked flavor, freshness, and the ahhhh aloha moment you were hoping for. I want to give this place another go once they get thing dialed, it takes time. For now I wish I could get my $50 back. For now we will stick with aloha fish co!

This was the best poke we've ever had!!! The restaurant had a great vibe, clean, welcoming, fun. The staff were so helpful and were great about offering samples of sauces, proteins, etc. Their recommendations were fantastic and overall it was a five star experience. We look forward to our next visit!

I stopped in to pick up dinner for myself and the hubs tonight in my way home from work. I received outstanding and customized service I've had in a very long time at any restaurant at all. The young lady who helped me took her time with each bowl and helped me build with lots of care, suggestions, and personality. Got home to enjoy our food and it was thoroughly delicious. We are extremely happy with our dinner and I had a great experience! 10 out of 10 recommend!! The gal that helped me also offered to label the bowls so I would know which one was for whom, but she asked me what i would like her to write I said write the love of my life on husbands bowl, and she added hearts and everything. Love love love

We walked into island fin poké and were greeted with a happy energetic employee with a very knowledgeable outlook on the menu and which flavors worked great together! The colors and overall feeling of the restaurant reminded me of Hawaii and brought back happy memories of sunshine and dole pineapples. I wish I lived closer and could go more often, but I know where I will be having lunch every time I come back to Nashville.

We enjoyed our meals, but my young son got a 3/4" bone in his that he nearly swallowed, so I'm on the fence about returning. Also worth mentioning, we've had the dole whips twice and the first time was super smooth like soft serve, but the second time was grainy almost like a granita.

These guys are the best! I went to four different stores looking for shelled edamame and finally decided to try my luck here. They were so nice and helpful and got me all the edamame I needed. Thank you for accommodating my (strange) request, so excited to come back for lunch this week! Welcome to the neighborhood!

We've been waiting for this place to open up for a while and after our second visit, we really enjoy the fresh poke, the topping options and also the incredible customer service. Friendly staff and yummy food. If you're vegetarian they have tofu, no mushrooms, but you can still dress it up with sauces and toppings. Can't wait to come back!

As a new poke place, I was very disappointed with their salmon that I ordered for my protein. The proteins should be great and this salmon was light orange which already seemed weird to me and had absolutely NO taste. Salmon should have somewhat of a buttery taste but this had zero flavor. I am a poke obsessed person as I have tried a lot of poke restaurants in Nashville and the Bay Area ( ca) but this one had the worst salmon I have tried. Please fix this. Everything else was good. Nothing I can complain about and the service was wonderful. Very nice inside also.

The food and service were both excellent. I stopped in after leaving the grocery store one evening and I will be making this my new Poke spot.

Last week I headed to Trader Joe's, and I stopped in for lunch. I had spicy tuna, shrimp, edamame, jalapeños, and OG veggies. Loving all things spicy, I went with the Island Fin Fire marinating sauce. To finish it off, I added the toppings: crispy garlic, crispy onions, cucumber, ginger, and seaweed salad. As a finishing sauce, I choose Togarashi. Wow! Every bite was packed full of flavor. Lastly, do not forget about their drink options. I usually only drink water, but since their fountain drinks are entirely natural with no artificial sweeteners or additives, I gave it a shot and wasn't disappointed. The food quality and service were also spot on. I will be returning and highly recommend.

Great Service. I was just coming with a friend and wasn't going to get anything because I'm picky and have never had poke before. They allowed me to sample the tuna and I ended up really enjoying the bowl! I ended up getting this big cup of mango/pineapple swirl. Overall a really good experience and something White Bridge could use!

My husband and I stopped in to grab dinner while doing some other things in the area, as this is across town from where we live. However, we will make the trek to this side of town more often now. The bowls we both had were so good. Everything just tasted fresh. And don't even get me started on the dole whip - YUM. The service was top notch too. Now I see why they got voted best Poke in Nashville.

Have seen this spot open for a few weeks now passing Trader Joe's. Finally gave it a shot and it did not disappoint!!!!! Scott, the owner, was welcoming as we came in. He was very personable as he helped us create our poke bowls; letting us try sauces, giving reccos, etc. Poke can be hit or miss, but this was great quality with a friendly staff. Win win. Will be back!

I don't know it was totally different than expected they offer 3 proteins for a 14.00 dollar bowl which sound good but it's small small amounts the rice are a lot then comes the teeny bit of protein the sauces not enough wetness to the bowl the rice stay dry and on top of that you got to pay 2.00 extra for avocado etc I ate poke at 2 different places before and both were larger helpings on proteins and also mixed in crab with rice and greens and enough sauce the soft serve is a huge amount but it's sorbet soft serve which the acidity of the orange and pineapple made my mom feel sick I won't be back I will eat poke bowls where I did before

My husband and I were looking to avoid the craziness of midtown and the average poke choices, so we decided on this place. First of all... very fresh and great topping choices. But what really made us enjoy our experience was the service. Typically poke shops feel like an assembly line full of questions but we were warmly greeted by the sweetest young lady upon entering, she explained how everything worked, offered fantastic recommendations and had a great attitude/smile. Then I believe it was the owner who came out from the back and helped us pick out beverage options and also offered great recommendations. The three ladies working were so helpful and had such great attitudes. The one young lady who made our bowls even walked them over to our table. It seems these days that's you can't even get service half as good at restaurants. Also this little shop has beautiful decor and a place for dogs and their owners to sit outside which is always a wonderful touch!! 10/10

Really nice fresh food. My only disappointment is that I'm paying the same price for three scoops of tofu that people are spending for 3 scoops of salmon, tuna or octopus. Seems like they could make the tofu more reasonably priced since you're not getting the pricier fresh fish. Service was great. Super friendly. The portion was a little smaller than another pokè place that we've tried in town for the same price but we will definitely be back because it's close to the house and a nice healthy take out.

This place is awesome! I wanted something vegetarian and healthy and they totally deliver with their bowls. Adding the seaweed gave that Poke bowl flavor it needs. I wish I would've known about here long ago.

Unexpectedly amazing. Just went for a quick bite, they walk you through the whole process! So nice and patient with every customer who had questions, and SO many topping to choose from. 3-6pm you can get a big cup of their orange and mango soft serve!! They gave me a free little sample. This place is amazing!!! I have never posted a restaurant review before but this place deserves every star. I picked up my phone to write it as soon as I finished my bowl. My fiancé and I were first timers and the owner, Scott, took the time to walk us through the process and explain all the different proteins and sauces and how they are made. He even let us try the sauces before we made our decision. Incredible experience from start to finish. Great quality fish, huge variety of toppings, and really good portion size. We can't wait to go back!

The poke is great. So much choice and the best service of any poke place I have tried. Owners are really nice and very patient in working with you to answer any questions to make the right choices, so you get the best poke experience. I have been back for a total of 3 visits so far. Best poké in Nashville! Poké is a staple for me and I have eaten it for years but I have had a hard time finding a quality spot since I moved here over a year ago. Of all the spots I've tried in the area, Island Fin has superior fish (line caught, NO farmed fish), unique ingredients (their spicy coconut topping and OG veggies are to die for), and top tier service. It's a family spot where you can really feel the love that the owner has poured into it. I'd post a picture but I ate my bowl so fast I didn't have the chance to take one.
