Our sailing club chooses Island Time for at least one party each year, with an awards-giving end-of-season celebration in the last few years.
Island time has a pleasant location adjacent to the LBJ memorial grove, parkland, and the marina.
The venue includes not just the whitewashed small pub with a variety of brews and a large TV for sports.
We appreciate the large wooden roof over the patio that serves about forty people, a sound system that works well for a crowd, and catered food.
The patio is good for most weather; we have enjoyed a party there not only in fine weather, but even in a cold wind (thanks to clear plastic tenting on the sides and a bamboo roof over clear plexiglass-type sheet.)
We will keep returning, and recommend you do too.
