The 20 Best Restaurants in Waikiki, Hawaiʻi | Eater

"In a kiosk adjacent to the Royal Hawaiian Center, Island Vintage serves some of the best shave ice on the island, with servers dousing cups in pulpy syrups made of real fruit. Not far away, Island Vintage Wine Bar is a sit-down restaurant with an extensive menu ranging from breakfast all day to burrata and charcuterie to garlic shrimp. It’s one of the few restaurants where you can get ‘ulu (breadfruit)—here, it’s fried like breakfast potatoes and served with brown sugar and coconut cream. Some of our other favorites are the steamed clams, and you can also order acai bowls from the adjacent Island Vintage cafe. The wine selection and expertise isn’t what it used to be, but it’s still a good place to eat. Know before you go: The Island Vintage cafe next door always has lines, while the wine bar is less crowded, but you can order the entire cafe menu at the wine bar." - Martha Cheng

13 Hidden Restaurants in Waikiki, Honolulu | Eater

"In a kiosk adjacent to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, Island Vintage serves some of the best shave ice on the island, with servers dousing cups in pulpy syrups made of real fruits. Island Vintage applies the same level of detail to its casual, second-floor wine bar, where guests can serve themselves from 40 bottles in one-, three-, or five-ounce pours. The food menu includes an excellent poke bowl as well as Hawai‘i Island clams steamed in white wine. [$$]" - Martha Cheng

Island Vintage Wine Bar at the Royal Hawaiian Center (2301 Kalakaua Ave, Honolulu, HI) truly deserves five stars. From the moment we arrived, the hostess greeted us with such kindness and professionalism, and our server went above and beyond, carefully explaining the menu, checking on us often, and making sure we felt taken care of throughout the experience. The coffee was incredibly fresh, and the food exceeded our expectations. It was healthy, flavorful, and served in generous portions. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, which was rich and perfectly balanced, while my husband enjoyed the Gluten Free Coconut Toast Breakfast that was both wholesome and delicious. Everything tasted clean, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. This place has it all — wine, cocktails, specialty coffee, fresh food, and even desserts. You can also shop for beautiful mugs, local Hawaiian coffee, and souvenirs to take a piece of the island home with you. We were seated by a lovely window with a view of lush trees, which made the atmosphere even more relaxing and beautiful. Prices were very reasonable for the quality, service, and location. Everything arrived right on time, and the experience felt seamless from start to finish. If you are visiting Waikiki, I highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, or even a casual evening with a glass of wine. Great food, warm service, a beautiful view, and an overall experience that makes you want to return again and again.

We got the charcuterie and cheese board and it was the perfect meal for me and my husband (who had already been eating so much on vacation!) Everything on the menu though looked absolutely amazing and would totally come back.

Had dinner last night and it was great all the way around. The food is creative, fresh, delicious and the menu is huge. They also serve breakfast all day if that is your thing. We had a seafood cioppino type dish and chose to add the garlic noodles. It was so good and it came with the most delicious, fresh garlic bread you can imagine. We also ordered a lettuce wrapped wagyo burger and it came with sweet potato fries and a very delicious sauce. I asked the waiter if we could have regular fries instead and he happily did so even though I snuck few of the sweet potato fries. I thought this place was a wine bar with a light menu but boy was I wrong. The ladies next to our table were going nuts over their dishes too and we chatted and they wanted us to try derp fried eggplant spears that they could not finish. They were crazy delicious in a spectacular sauce. Honestly, this is a hidden gem in the Royal Hawaiian shopping mall and it is so worth going to!!!

Google
Located right next to the always-busy Island Vintage Coffee in Waikiki is the Island Vintage Wine Bar. It offers the same food menu as the cafe, but you can also order alcoholic beverages. It's usually a bit easier to get a reservation here. I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy a drink and have a more relaxed meal. I've been a few times, and this visit was for lunch. While the prices feel a bit high, that's just the reality of Waikiki. This is really a place you go to enjoy the atmosphere more than the food itself. The drink I ordered came in a to-go cup, which was a bit disappointing. I think it would be more fun to come in the evening and enjoy some food while trying different wines.

Google
We stopped by for breakfast and decided to try their famous açaí bowl. It was my first time having one, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect—but it turned out to be really good! The flavor was rich and refreshing. The staff were super friendly and recommended going with the original flavor for first-timers. I didn’t realize the original size was actually bigger than the other flavors, so I couldn’t finish it. Unfortunately, it was our last day before heading to the airport, so I couldn’t take it to go. Such a shame! Looking forward to my next Hawaii trip and definitely more açaí bowls!

Will Conforti

Google
Absolutely delicious breakfast menu. The breakfast plates are decent value and delicious. The açaí bowls are delicious, the best I had in Hawaii. The coffee was… delicious as well, surprise surprise. Genuinely the best breakfast we had on our trip, we came back here several times. Service was quick and polite. 10/10 breakfast spot.

Google
Hands down my favorite restaurant on this Hawaii trip! The food was both tasty and beautifully plated. The prices are same with Beverly Hills brunch restaurant, but it’s totally worth it — highly recommended!

Google
The most delicious food!! Service is pretty good, they are very busy so when we sat at the bar for drinks and dinner, we did not see the bartender very much, but when we were seated at the table for breakfast the next day, our waiter was attentive and very nice. Their guava and lilikoi mimosas were so delicious and the açaí bowl was so good as well! They have a whole gluten free menu with recommended substitutions for their whole menu for gluten free customers.

Yelp
Food is beautiful! Clean and fresh, and also good keto options as well. Never had bad service, everyone who works there are lovely. My husband and I would go every 2nd day whilst in Waikiki
google avatar

Yelp
We love this place! It's always clean and the employees welcoming. They move through the long lines as quickly as they can. The açaí bowls are delicious. We also had the most amazing short rib loco moco. Omg we were both in heaven. The meat is melt-in-your-mouth and the gravy is so flavorful. They include these green papaya and carrot pickles too, which help balance out the richness. One of the best dishes we've had on the islands!

Yelp
I love love breakfast at Island Vintage. Not only is the coffee top tier, but they have items on the menu that are just as great. Food tastes fresh each time we eat here and if you get a breakfast platter with fresh halved papaya, the papaya is always ripe and sweet. You can expect a line when you arrive, but it is definitely worth the wait.
google avatar

Annie D.

Yelp
The food here was really good. I got the Island Style plate, which was like a combination breakfast plate. It had such a good mix of protein, veg, fruits, and nuts (pistachios). Tasted great! Both the wait to be seated and food did take a bit long, but it is so they can prepare the food well (they say). Service was great. Lots of people. Originally, I was going to go to the Island Vintage coffee, but the line was so long. This one was right next to it; they are the same company. I did learn you can order to go for the coffee one. Maybe try calling ahead of time.

Chrisjan Y.

Yelp
I have never tried the food here and coffee here even if I've been to Hawaii several times. And I been missing out! One of friends turned 40 and they wanted to do breakfast there. They made a reservation for 7. Restaurant was clean and tidy. They had beer but it was 7:30am. So maybe next time I come back for lunch. The wagyu loco moco was so good. It was missing mac salad. I like loco moco with mac salad. But i still enjoyed every bite. I expected the taro bagel with ube cream cheese to be to sweet for me but i also loved it. The açaí bowl was packed with fruits. 3 of us shared 3 plates so we all got a taste of all of it. Samantha S. took care of us and did a great job! Thank you Samantha and Island Vintage for the great food and service!
google avatar

Selina T.

Yelp
This place is always worth a visit when I am in Waikiki. The line is always super long at its coffee shop next door so I like to get a seat here so I can still enjoy the Island Vintage bagel sandwiches without having to wait in line. My go-to order is the lox of bagel but recently I tried the bacon breakfast bagel that my mom ordered which was also quite delicious! However, the lox of bagel has more veggies so you feel a little less guilty eating it haha. It's a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere where you can also enjoy a morning mimosa if that is your fancy. Heaven!
google avatar

Joshua M.

Yelp
We did a wine tasting. The only problem is the weather not that many food choices but we had a good time. We want to try other places and compare will definitely recommend prices are affordable
google avatar

Yelp
I will assume I am a fan of a restaurant if I show up 4 mornings in a row. This is what happened last month during my trip to the Waikiki area. I like to visit their Wine Bar for meals because it's a sit down arrangement and I can make reservations. The menu looks to be mostly the same as the Island Vintage side next door. The dishes I had were the Crab Omelet, Breakfast Plate, Garlic Shrimp Plate, and the Egg Brioche. I would happily order all 4 again any opportunity I could get someday, and that tells me that all these dishes were excellent. The consistency, quality, and freshness of their food and beverages is fantastic and I could eat here literally all the time. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing also. Service is friendly and courteous, and they do a good job of getting you in and out without feeling rushed.
google avatar

Grant H.

Yelp
If you are staying in Waiks, this is the place to go for coffee and breakfast! There's usually a long line at the coffee bar, but you can sit and order in the restaurant. Mo bettah. If you go for dinner, I like the wagyu burger.
google avatar

Melinda Q.

Yelp
This restaurant-diner situation was our common go-to spot for a delicious and satiating brunch while we were in Honolulu for the week. The food, service, and open-air setting were fantastic and made us feel like we were getting a taste of Hawaii. We loved that they have many vegan options for my husband and a variety of Hawaiian-inspired offerings for me. We can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to revisit in the near future. Their shave ice stand on the street level is also fantastic!
google avatar

Yohei D.

Yelp
Great place to get food and drinks. It has the same menu as the island vintage coffee and they are related establishments. Might be a good place to go if there is a line as this place is less crowded. I got the acai smoothie and garlic shrimp. Portion is on smaller side for the price. The shrimp was delicious and the smoothie tasted really fresh. The service was great and the inside was spacious with lots of seating at tables, hightops, and bar.

Yelp
We love the island vintage shave ice and island vintage coffee shops. I passed by this place for 5 years and never thought to try it out. But my husband finally convinced me to give it a go. We came here because we heard about their happy hour. Weird thing is neither the hostess nor the waitress informed us about their happy hour or gave us a happy hour menu. I was confused and had to ask for it. I think they should advertise their happy hour because it was almost completely empty when we came at 5pm. Anywho, we ordered following items: the chicken and fries from the kids menu for our toddler, poke over fries, ahi dip, chicken wings and the wagyu mushroom burger. Overall the food was pretty good, our favorite was the Wagyu mushroom burger. All the other dishes had good flavors too even the kids menu item. Service could be improved but we will be back to try brunch.

Yelp
A recent friend's visit with her kids made me a fan of Island Vintage Coffee and Island Vintage Wine Bar as while they were here in Waikiki, they enjoyed their açaí ("best açaí I've ever had!"), smoothies (one had dragon fruit and looked so good), and matcha lattes (giddy excitement)! I enjoyed steamed clams with them one night Island Vintage Wine Bar, and it was delish (my friend had the garlic ahi - I had a taste and that was also ono)! Another friend came to visit a couple days later, and I enjoyed their Keto Breakfast Plate (cauliflower truffled risotto, mushroom, mixed salad, asparagus, apple, cranberries, fried egg, bacon and avocado) while she was here - so ono and satisfying! Check both places out - in addition, I've had Island Vintage Shave Ice too in the past, and they use more natural flavors in their shave ice syrups, plus add mochi balls and other yummy goodies - you can't go wrong!

Yelp
We went around 3 pm on a Saturday. It was not busy at all! We went during happy hour (3-5 pm) so we decided to get a champagne on the happy hour drink menu, and also the smoked Ahi dip. The Ahi dip was great, has a great smoked flavor. I would definitely get again, especially at the price. We got the Wagyu mushroom burger and the Ahi burger. The mushroom burger was cooked great and had a good amount of mushrooms. Sweet potato fries were delicious. The Ahi burger was good, and had a good garlic flavor on it. Also loved the Taro bun it came on. I will return again when I'm Waikiki!

Yelp
Food was good. Their blended drinks are always a must. But the morning manager however needs more training on how to treat the staff! It happened 3/01/2025, today. She started to yell at one of the hostess across the room which was so unprofessional! The customers looked at each other and all felt uncomfortable. She definitely needs some aloha spirit. She should have pulled the hostess to the side instead. That is not how you treat people.
google avatar

Leeza D.

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Waikiki. We come here a couple of times on every trip. The staples for us are the giant shrimp salad, the seafood platter, the garlic shrimp rice plate, and the salmon plate. We rotate on appetizers and this time around we got the octopus salad. The food is always fresh and delicious. The seafood is sourced from neighboring Islands. You can also order anything that is available at the Island Vintage next door and you can have breakfast for dinner! Reservations recommended. Casual. Great service. Please come and create your own experience.

Yelp
4.5 Delicious food. I had blue crab omelette. My partner had the eggs Benedict. Both were delicious. The presentation and the quantity of food . The coffee was good. I initially ordered the vintage Kona mocha. However, it was way too sweet, even though I opted to go with less mocha. Service was on par with aloha spirit. Great place for a brunch, but expect to pay for the locale (tourist) and quality of food.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time, although I've gotten island vintage coffee quite often. I thought the poke bibimbap was pretty good. Fresh veggies and I chose ahi for the fish. I also tried their tropical sensation ice tea, which I thought was ok.
google avatar

Igor C.

Yelp
We love Island Vintage Coffee, and this place serves the same great food but in a sit down restaurant. The portions are generous so we typically grab a meal and an açaí bowl to share. The ambiance is relaxed and friendly. The customer service is top notch!

Yelp
The popularity of Island vintage coffee in Oahu must be shared with every purple potato lover You must ube me, because it's ube-lievable! I strongly recommend this bagel brunch in this shop. I am willing to come to Hawaii again for it! The bagel itself has a slight sweetness. After baking, it is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The texture is just right~ Here comes the key point: purple potato cheese sauce! Rich but not greasy, sweet with a hint of cheese sourness, and the layering is superb. Coconut milk Haupia Cream, ice cream texture, it is recommended to add it at the end so that it will not be melted by the hot bagel~ Jumbo Shrimp Salad This salad is really good! The fried shrimps are big and chewy, and the avocado, pineapple, and vegetables are paired with garlic baguette slices. It's really a must. I'll be sad if you miss it, ok? Haupia Moana Bowl Coconut lovers will really go crazy, açaí puree, frozen coconut milk Haupia Cream, coconut + toasted coconut shreds, Hawaiian local honey, raspberries, bananas, papayas, and super crispy homemade granola! One bite, the coconut flavor + fruity flavor + icy taste blend just right, one bite is a perfect vacation! If you don't like coconut, other açaí bowls are also very good. Tropical Sensation A standard drink, fruit mixture juice , topped with some blueberries, strawberries and mint leaves, no merits or demerits. But there are always long queues at Island Vintage Coffee. If you don't want to be the heir of the dragon, you can go directly to the Island Vintage Wine Bar next door. The menu is exactly the same, and you don't have to queue. There are also many seats, but if you go there in a group, you still have to wait for a seat. You can sit at the bar alone, and you can get a seat faster. The environment here is great, it's very photogenic, and it's not so noisy.

Yelp
Happy to experience here !! The food was decent though. I ordered the bagel bacon and egg sandwich with ube bagel. The coffee was good the Hawaiian honey cinnamon latte I believe it's called! Was fire The service was good tho it took awhile but it was busy and our server was good and attentive!! The ambiance is nice and located next to all the shops in the Royal Hawaiian Center!! I will come back to try their wine for sure! Mad I forgot to take pics!! Was enjoying my time :)

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday, and it is such a cute spot! They set us aside in a small room with a beautiful plant wall and it was intimate. The service is great (although a bit slow if you're in a rush) and the menu is very expansive--they serve all day breakfast in addition to their dinner menu. The food was surprisingly delicious with huge portions for a wine bar, although slightly expensive, but typical for Waikiki prices. I ordered the orange wine as well which was delicious, and the kale Caesar with fish. The fish was super tender and the salad was fine, nothing special. I tried someone's bread and butter from their breakfast plate and the butter/blueberry jam is insane. Definitely recommend. Parking is at royal hawaiian center and is validated.
google avatar

Emma T.

Yelp
This is a popular place located on the second floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center. They offer everything from a variety of beverages, delicious breakfast items, delicious meals and charcuterie boards after 4pm. My favorite time to go is for brunch and I love the original Acai Berry bowl and their Breakfast plate. Their portions are generous enough to share. My favorite server is Samantha, she is so attentive and always provides service with a smile. Although the prices are fairly high, it's to be expected in Waikiki. Great place to bring your friends with a casual atmosphere.

Yelp
Ordered take out via online with our Vintage Island Coffee order and ate it at our hotel balcony. It is billed separately and the food order has to be picked up from the Wine Bar. I was not aware of this and luckily enough an employee at the Coffee shop was kind enough to fetch my order for me. I got the Wagyu Beef Loco Moco ($27) as I've heard the loco moco is a staple in Hawaii. I think since it's made with wagyu beef, it makes it tastes soo much better. I devoured this. My fiancee ordered the Lox of Bagel ($19) with taro bagel (+$1), which she enjoyed a lot.

Yelp
Yesterday, I had a reservation at 6 p.m. I arrived 5 minutes before 6 p.m. and informed the hostess that I had a 6 o'clock reservation. The hostess seated us at the bar. I asked her, "Oh, there are three tables being cleaned. Can I wait for a table?" As I was speaking to the hostess, a manager walked by, saying, "Oh, those tables are reserved for big parties." I understood they needed to reserve the tables for big parties, so we sat at the bar. The bar was very noisy, and having lots of workers making drinks and pouring water into cups in front of us felt very uncomfortable. We placed an order and a drink, and about 10 minutes passed. No one was sitting at those tables, and there were two two-seater tables being separated after cleaning. So I walked over to the hostess stand and waited about 5 minutes before I could talk to someone and ask, "Can we move to a table?" They looked at me as if I were stupid. Then they moved us to a corner table right next to the restroom. We ordered our drinks 15 minutes ago and didn't receive them until another 30 minutes later with the meal. I'm sorry to say, but I feel very discriminated against. Not so good. I'll probably never go back to that restaurant again. Food: 4/5 | Service: 1/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5
google avatar

Isaac H.

Yelp
Definitely a worthwhile experience and would recommend placing a reservation ahead of time, as it's in the heart of Waikiki and Island Vintage is very well known. The guava mimosa is made pretty well, the loco moco is super savory! I'm pretty sure it's one of their signature dishes. The shoyu poke bowl gave me the most shock tbh. It's mainland-style, where there are more ingredients than just the fish and rice (avocado, ginger, etc). I was skeptical just because the mainland is known to butcher poke bowls in my opinion but Island Vintage made it work and I enjoyed every bit of it! Good portions and they all meshed well together!
google avatar

Carmen L.

Yelp
We didn't have much expectation about this page; though this place is causal but still a little fancier to take kids. The food really blew my mind! The garlic shrimps were big, juicy and flavorful and its big size. The steamed clams are to die for...Mahi mahi was also wonderful and fresh! They have wine specialist walked around and asking if you want wine and give you some recommendation. We had a wonderful meal here! Definitely will come by again!
google avatar

Yelp
Came for Tuesday brunch, took about three minutes for a table to be cleared and to be seated. There were two pigeons flying everywhere and helping themselves to leftovers, but the overall ambiance was pleasant. Workers were pleasant: respectful, checked in with us twice, helped take a group photo, patient with us after the meal with clearing the table and getting takeout boxes. I had the hojicha white hot chocolate and spicy shoyu poke: drink was a bit too sweet and still had white chocolate chunks at the bottom after it had cooled. It was also a bit gritty. Worst part is the mug it was served in still had green streaks and dark bits around the rim and on the cup - very unhygienic and disgusting. All our food took about fifteen minutes to come. The poke I ordered was a bit too sour and way too salty, my bites of the avocado and fish sometimes gag worthy. Not a memorable flavor, and the fish freshness and amount wasn't outstanding. The five-grain rice was a good texture, though. I don't think it was very filling or satisfying overall because the portions were smaller than what I'm used to in the Bay Area- maybe about 3/4 of what you can get at Poke House for ~$19 and much better variety and flavor. I don't think that either items were worth $7 and $24 respectively. I had some of my cousin's kalua pork baguette - she requested no jalapeños but they added a couple anyway. There was a thin layer of meat and a TON of white daikon, and the baguette was very hard for her to chew through. The pork flavor was pretty good, but the salad it was served with was very sweet and not great (it just had a couple of pistachios and microgreens in it). I would not come back but it wasn't the worst experience.

Yelp
Our fav place to go for açaí bowl on Waikiki. Always a line doesn't matter the time of the day. This time we decided to try their wine bar since the line was shorter. Turned out it was a short wait and menu is the same as the cafe and don't need to look for table. Definitely will do sit wine bar next time.

Yelp
Hubby and I came here twice on our anniversary trip to Waikiki. Delicious and fresh food and great variety. I had the Ahi poke salad dish and hubby had the ham and egg croissant !! Both 9/10. Second time hubby had the the burger and I had the loco moco with wagyu beef. Both 9/10!! Great service and amazing wines! Highly recommend !!

Yelp
Tucked upstairs in the Royal Hawaiian Center, Island Vintage Wine Bar is a gem for flavorful food and a relaxing vibe. The menu leans upscale casual, with dishes that are fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. We tried the ahi tartare and truffle fries--both were standouts. The tartare was fresh and light, with just the right acidity, and the fries were crisp with a subtle truffle aroma, perfect for sharing. They also have great flatbreads and pasta dishes, with quality ingredients and thoughtful flavor pairings. Perfect for a date night or laid-back evening with friends. Service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt elevated without being stuffy. Definitely a great spot to unwind with good food and a glass of wine.

Yelp
Pro tip: you see that huge line for the island vintage coffee shop? Yeah, just skip it and head here instead. Literally will save you the time and hassle of getting coffee and breakfast. Also, you really will get to enjoy yourself more if you sit down and enjoy the food too! Our waitresses were really nice and prompt. What we got: - Haupia Acai Bowl (5/5): That cream is a dream! I would have never thought to try coconut cream on top of an acai bowl but it goes together quite well. We opted out of the papaya, but would not have missed it. - Island Latte (5/5): Coffee lovers, this is for you. Just love the nuttiness and richness of this coffee Maui Lavender Latte (5/5): This has strong notes of lavender and oat milk. So if you are not a fan, skip this. But I am so I love! Just an overall nice place to stop by for breakfast to start your day or take a break from the shopping.

Yelp
Discovered this place on Yelp. My friend and I went for breakfast at about 7:30am on a Monday. I ordered the original açaí bowl with a guava mimosa. The mimosa was very good. The bowl was good, too. My friend got the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, and a salad. She loved it. Service was quick as well.

Yelp
This review is for the breakfast only. This place is located in the Royal Hawaiian shopping center on the 2nd floor in Waikiki. The wine bar is next to the cafe which also sells food and coffee. The breakfast was amazing!! We ordered a Wagyu Loco Moco with breakfast yukon potatoes on our 1st visit, yes, you will probably return because it's that good. The rice served with the Loco Moco was so delicious, perfect texture with every bite! The breakfast yukon potatoes were the best I've ever eaten, perfectly fried and paired with a tasty cream sauce. I keep craving them! Our 2nd visit we tried the Breakfast Benedict, it was perfectly prepared. The benedict was on a brioche which made it easier to bite into, brilliant idea! We also tried the breakfast Ulu with Sriracha. It was really good, however, IMO, I'd stick with the breakfast yukon potatoes. Our first server John G was so attentive and friendly with great energy. Definitely give this place a try when you're in Waikiki. If you don't eat beef then try the Acai Bowls!! Sooo good!
google avatar

Veronica P.

Yelp
Love this place!! Decaf honey lavender coffee is delicious! Their açaí bowls (to me) are the 2nd best on the island and the salmon risotto dish is to die for! I've also had their kimchi dish, it's spicy, but good! No complaints here when it comes to dining here! Always a great experience!

Yelp
Their coffee is famous but the restaurant deserves just as much love. It's a must stop everytime we visit Hawaii - twice per trip minimum! Our favorite to order is the Braised Beef Loco Moco, Purple Potatoes, Side of Papaya, Spicy Poke, and of course their Acai. Special thank you to Judy who took great care of our family. She really made us feel the Aloha. Judy, I hope the best for you and your family during this new chapter of your life!
google avatar

Cristy L.

Yelp
I have been to Island Vintage Coffee frequently for their açaí bowls, but this time we got some hot goods from IVWB. Loco Moco 10/10. The braised beef was so tender and flavorful! Usually the traditional loco moco is so indulgent and heavy but this one did not make you feel heavy afterwards. Large quantity. Kimchi Fried Rice 9/10. Korean approved! It tasted like what I would make and what I grew up eating. Great use of traditional ingredients. Still confused as to why it was served with avocado, cucumbers, and ranch but cucumbers was refreshing to have with it. Also very large quantity. Haupia Moana Bowl 10/10 always! The creamy Haupia really makes this bowl stand out and so delicious! If you're looking to enjoy açaí bowl and coffee for dine in it's worth coming here rather than standing in the long line at Island Vintage Coffee. Better yet for both place just order online for carry out.

Yelp
Another great breakfast at Island Vintage Wine Bar. There is a QR code scanner to put your name on the waiting list located at the hostess stand. The kitchen is shared with Island Vintage Coffee so drinks come out a little slower than you might be used to, just order early and be prepared to wait for it, but it's worth the wait. I love the B.A.L.T (bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato) sandwich. It's simple and light but filling at the same time. I love sitting here rather than waiting in the to go line for Island Vintage Coffee.

Yelp
I loved this place so much! The coffee was amazing. The food was amazing! The servers were amazing! so kind and welcoming. The food is soo good I wish I came more than once but wanted to try other foods. If you love eggs benedict like me then you'll love them here!!!! I tried at other places in waikiki and island vintage is the best hands down! The ambiance is great, there were birds flying around and the noise was perfect.

Yelp
**6/5, 11/10, or 110/100**!! Whatever the scale, ISLAND VINTAGE WINE BAR at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in Waikiki was outstanding!! Try the Taro Bagel!! Now, we actually didn't come for the wine at 8:30am. Haha! We actually were in line at the coffee shop, which wrapped around the 2nd floor pretty deep. As we stood there, we noticed IVWB just across the walkway. My nephew went to ask the host if they offer coffee and breakfast. To our surprise, she said "Yes!"Our wait was only 20 mins to be seated at a table, which was 100% better than having to hunt one down, if you're lucky to even find one nearby. Service was super friendly and attentive, which put us in a great mood! TARO BAGEL. This flavor was highlighted at the hostess bar. We ended up ordering: BACON BREAKFAST BAGEL - everything about this was incredible!! The fresh and fluffy taro bagel. The crispy, fatty bacon. The truffle aioli. WOWzers. Not sharing. Not even a bite! Get your own!! Potatoes were amazing. AVOCADO TOAST - we weren't sure of the cranberry walnut bread, but it works! Photos do not do this justice. We ended up sharing this, so it was a good addition as a small bite. CACAO MOANA ACAI BOWL - Almond butter. Cacao nibs. Blackberries. Everything about this was refreshing and just good going down. Nice touch with the fresh orchid. AFFOGATO w/ Macadamia Nit Gelato. Yummmm! I drank this too fast. Lol. Excellent! Food was amazingly delicious. We just hiked Diamond Head so we came in hot with an appetite for something sweet & savory. Island Vintage Wine Bar hit the spot on every level!!

Yelp
Great service. Huge selection. It is in a small corner at the Royal Hawaiian Center so there's not much to say about the ambiance. We only got to try the burrata and wine but the breakfast looks delightful. You can tell the burrata was fresh and they used quality farm to table ingredients. They put small balsamic balls that pop in your mouth on top and gave us some local honey with the bread. We will come back next time. Mahalo Island Vintage.

Yelp
Second time enjoying this place. I made reservations through open table. The server was not as attentive as my first experience here and I was the first customer and not busy. Lol. I really enjoyed the mushroom brioche last time that I had to enjoy it again along with a nice cup of coffee. Overall it was a good experience as it was relaxing and I enjoy my meal.

Yelp
Cool little place that serves fresh tasty food. We got two different poke bowls and both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. I've heard the açaí bowls here are great as well.

Yelp
5 stars for the service and food. 2 stars for the hostess who felt the need to finish rolling the silverware into napkins to put into her little straw basket while we stood there waiting for her to complete her task. After she seated us I pulled out the chair next to me to put my shopping bags on so the bags wouldn't be on the floor. Hostess then pulled the chair back toward her and pushed it into the table obviously irritated at what I had done. Very sad to spend time reviewing the HOSTESS when this place is truly amazing! First time here and besides the hostess, it was great. I ordered an iced honey latte and the kimchee fried rice. Latte had a bit too much cinnamon but was ok. The fried rice was YUMMY! I asked for it without the pork. It came with an over easy egg that was cooked to perfection. I think the rice was a 5-grain rice (not your typical white rice) which gave it a slight crunch. As a local from Honolulu, I would definitely visit here more often if it wasn't in Waikiki.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance and perfect for our GNO. We love cheese and we got our fix. Service was perfect and was able to relax without feeling rushed. I am so excited that they opened another location on the west side.

Yelp
the Loco moco here is amazing. I came back to this place several times during my vacation. it is a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. the place is baby friendly, they have highchairs, gave water and were accommodating. i enjoyed their acai bowls as well. if you go early in the morning when they just open there isn't a wait. as it get to the mid morning it will start to fill up. i do see a lot of people doing take out though. they do have the original location next door which is usually more packed and people tend to grab/go there. this bar location is more of a dine in experience

Yelp
Love this place. Came here because we wanted a seat and couldn't find any next door. They're the same next to vintage island coffee ! I am glad we came here. Extensive menu some classics and some newer versions. Shayla (I might be spelling her name wrong) was FANTASTIC! Over all drinks were great, food was delicious, and service/ambiance was so nice!

Yelp
I am writing in regards to their breakfast menu that is the same as Island Vintage Coffee next door . My family of 5 (four adults and one baby) headed to Island Vintage Coffee only to see a long line for breakfast. We looked right next door to the seemingly empty Island Vintage Wine Bar which seemed to have wonderful interior and ambience and saw that the menu read that it has all of the same food and drinks (I think they might share a kitchen). We were immediately seated and loved the vibe. There's an open balcony and as a wine bar it felt classy and clean. The food is a definitely pricey but this was my mom's favorite meal in our five days in Hawaii (This includes all of the hot spots like Ono Seafood, Leonard's, Marugame, etc.) and we were thrilled with the quality and quantity of the food. I would say for all of the crazy prices of food in Waikiki, if you're going to pay, you might as well pay for this breakfast place. This is the ultimate breakfast. The menu is expansive with so many options and so you don't think it'll be good but every single thing was delicious. Crab Scramble- 5/5 The scramble was loaded with tender crab. Breakfast Plate - 5/5 Acai Bowl - 4.5/5 Orange and Chicken Salad -3/5 (Chicken was not great but salad was wonderful) Smoked Salmon Benedict - 5/5 They were super chill and baby-friendly. Bathroom was clean as well. Wonderful experience and so great to miss the line at Island Vintage Coffee only to the same food right next door with no crowds.
