Islands Restaurant Westchester

Island's is one of my favorite local restaurants in LA. I often take friends from NJ here. The Kona pie, a mocha ice cream cake, is spectacular! I had one for the first time in almost seven years, and it's just as good as I remember.

I buy to go here regularly during lunch hour and it's great! I order online and by the time I walk there it's ready! The Double Stack burger is delicious, always fresh and always cooked just perfect, NEVER overcooked and dry. Their lunch burger deal beats out all of the nationwide burger joints in price, portion size, and above all quality, freshness and taste. I also like their Toucan sandwich, it is pretty unique and very good! Their fries are also fantastic even without salt, which is how I order mine all the time! I have to thank the kitchen staff, because they're always spot on and deliver with care a nice presentable meal that looks as good as it tastes! The staff is also amazing, from the host to the servers and Manager, everyone is always nice, friendly, courteous and welcoming! And finally, the restaurant has a pretty unique Hawaiian theme, always has great music and it is always spotless. Well done everyone!

I recently visited Islands and ordered the Yaki Tacos with pineapple and teriyaki chicken, which were delicious and flavorful. We also had a burger that was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly service made for an enjoyable experience overall.

The employees were helpful and honest. I had a Bloody Mary and strawberry margarita. Highly recommend the strawberry margarita. UPDATE: the outside dining is horrendous. Me and my fiancé came this afternoon for lunch and we decided to sit outside and dine. BIG MISTAKE. There was food thrown around everywhere. It was all over the ground and on all of the tables and chairs. We had to wipe our own table and chairs off to sit down and start looking at the menu. It was pretty disgusting and unappetizing. However, the waitress was very kind and quick.

My daughter and I and my friend and her daughter just stumbled upon this place. It was very reasonably priced and the food was very good. The only thing that we didn't really like were the French fries but the tacos the salad the bowl and the tortilla soup were all excellent!

Eleana's killing it behind the bar!!! What a pleasant, courteous, professional young lady. Working hard and making sure her customers are happy. Now THAT'S what I call excellent customer service.

Loved the place! Ran by great management! Sorry forgot manager name for the night. 😩 But the team was friendly, accommodating, nice, food was delicious! Wednesday margarita special is great!! 🔥🤤 I have to return to get the managers name! It was a great first time at this location. Haven't been to Islands in too many years.
