Awesome night of great food, views and service! Vinny was our serenading waiter with great food recommendations and birthday songs!! We had the table side Caesar, the lemon scheme and pasta with seafood! All were delicious! We snuck in a lemon cake and raspberries jam cake, both awesome! Thanks for a fantastic evening!!

The restaurant offers fantastic food and a beautiful view of the beach. I highly recommend trying the Caesar salad, as watching it being prepared at the table adds a special touch to the dining experience. They also provide excellent bread and butter, and combining it with olive oil and Romano cheese creates a delightful flavor blend. The taste of the Caesar salad was impressive. We ordered fettuccine, and my son decided to switch the Alfredo sauce for marinara, which turned out to be a great choice. I did, however, make an oversight when ordering the flounder, as I later realized it was a fish dish rather than veal. The fish was great though. The chicken oreganata was tasty too. It would have been helpful if we had been more aware that each order included a side of spaghetti and tomato sauce, as we might have made some substitutions. The pizza was fantastic too. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience with a few minor adjustments that could enhance it further. The next day I discovered that I forgot to use my 10% coupon. Watch out they have a dress code. Check the pix 🥲

Went to this restaurant with the party of 3. Reservations are mandatory. They have vallet parking outside the hotel to take care of your car. The location is excellent overlooking the Virginia Beach boardwalk and has great views that the restaurant maximize with large windows and seating. Found the food to be very good. Portion sizes aren't huge. Our waiter was super friendly however it took us about a half an hour to get drinks and he never asked if we wanted any more. The decor needs a little bit of updating looks like the carpets from the 80s. Speaking of drinks I had a cocktail and it was extremely small and weak for.

Excellent food and service. Wine was fantastic along with our appetizers and main courses. Surprised dress code is not enforced considering multiple signs posted. But, overall we enjoyed our meal.

This place is amazing, especially hen considered it’s attached to a Holiday Inn! I came here alone for dinner one evening and chose this place due to all the great reviews I read. I sat at the bar and the lady working the bar was very helpful and friendly. She explained the menu, as well as gave some suggestions for wine. Their menu is loaded with many great sounding Italian delights… they even have a large section of veal done in many different ways. So, I chose their veal parm and it was excellent! I asked for them to make the red sauce spicy and they truly knocked that out of the park – EXCELLENT! The meat was tender and tasty and their pasta was also great. The views from this restaurant are excellent too, as it’s on the top of the Holiday Inn and provides great views of the beach below! I’ll definitely return and am looking forward to it!

Google
Vinny, our server was incredible. He sang Italian songs to us during dinner. The food was great as well. I had the stuffed pork chop and it was perfect. Couldn't beat the view on the 5th floor of the Holiday Inn overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Google
We chose this restaurant to treat out-of-town family members to a lovely Mother’s Day dinner. The menu had so many great choices plus an amazing view of the ocean, we knew they would love it and they did. Our entire family enjoyed our dishes and will absolutely return again to try new ones next time. The service was excellent, very attentive, and each course paced perfectly without feeling rushed or waiting. Portion sizes were generous and all in all a fantastic meal we are still talking about. We had she crab soup, salad, veal, chicken, lamb, filet mignon, and pasta dishes at our table and all were excellent. The Mozart cake was the only underwhelming part, but did not detract from the rest of the meal. Highly recommend dining here.

You start the adventure of Isle of Capri by a 6 story glass elevator ride. Then onto a beautiful ocean view. The food was outstanding, authentic Italian. Our staff was very accommodating. Easy accessibility. Highly recommend.

Yelp
My family and I recently dined at Isle of Capri, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! The food was delicious, the view was unbeatable, and the service was outstanding as always. Our server, Catze, truly went above and beyond to make us feel special. We can't wait to return next summer when we're back at the beach!

Yelp
Very nice little Italian restaurant located on the upper floor of the Holiday Inn. Its a little odd at first to have to go down the hall of the hotel and then ride the elevator up to the top floor, but you quickly see the great views are worth it. The service was very good, and the food is quite good as well. I had the pollo toscano, a chicken with mushroom and sun dried tomatoes- there wasn't a drop left at the end. Definitely worth a stop in the area. I do suggest making a reservation, they can get busy.

Yelp
I had a friend date midweek and it was such a great night! I am glad we went early....around 6 because they definitely filled up around 7. We went with the intention of eating a lot! And we did! We started with the scallops and italian grits and the roasted garlic and goat cheese. So good! Scallops were perfectly cooked. And the goat cheese platter was a meal by itself. Definitely enough for 4 people. It had black olives and roasted red peppers and pepperoncinis. It was pretty and delicious. And of course we had to try the caeser salad which never disappoints. My friend got the chicken piccata and I got the chicken toscano. Oh my! Absolutely delicious. I loved the whole sun dried tomatoes.....not just chopped or sliced. The chicken was perfectly cooked and didn't even need a knife to cut it. She let me try her piccata and it was so light and fresh and lemony. We had wonderful service by Vinny. Not singing Vinny. But singing Vinny was there too. Our Vinny was attentive even though he was busy. He was so funny with that accent.....straight from NY. Isle of Capri is a great fit for him. And singing Vinny was singing. It made it such a fun and lively night. The guests were singing along and having fun. It was far from a stuffy atmosphere. I am not sure if that is the normal but it was a lot of fun. My Tuesday night felt like a Friday. And we ended the night with tiramisu. So freaking good and made the right way.....with alcohol. I was watching the staff and they seemed to all get along and a team. There was another young man that was helping clear our plates and he was so sweet. I think his name was Keenan. It was a good night with a good friend, amazing views and wonderful service and delicious food. That sounds like a perfect night. Highly recommend and don't forget to dress accordingly. There is a dress code.

Yelp
If you're looking for the perfect combination of breathtaking views, exceptional service, and unforgettable food, Isle of Capri is it. From the moment we arrived, we were immediately taken by the stunning seaside setting--waves crashing gently below as sailboats drifted across the horizon. The view alone is enough to make you want to stay all evening. But what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service from our server, Michael. He was warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every recommendation he gave was spot-on, and he made us feel like the most important table in the room without ever being overbearing. As for the food--every dish was delicious, but the star of the night was the table-side Caesar salad. Watching it prepared fresh in front of us was a treat in itself, and the result? Hands down the best Caesar I've ever had--perfectly balanced, crisp, and bursting with flavor. Isle of Capri delivers on every front: ambiance, service, and cuisine. Whether you're celebrating something special or simply want to indulge, this gem by the sea is worth every moment.

Yelp
I would give IOC 3.5 stars... this place holds a special place in my heart because I worked at that Holiday Inn throughout college and used to eat the employee meals there which I enjoyed. I've even helped out in the restaurant. I made a reservation for myself and my 2 teens, no special occasion, we choose a high end place to eat each month and I've always wanted to eat there as a customer. We were given an oceanfront view which the views were amazing. Now here comes the questionable part... our waitress was nice but I feel as though we weren't getting treated like everyone else. I noticed she asked other customers if they've been before, what was the occasion even told them what was the catch and soup of the day. The chef came out to greet the customers, everyone just walked by our table. I definitely would have ordered the she crab soup if I'd known that was the soup. We just got the menu and she came back and asked what we liked. I had to ask for the dessert menu. I started out with a pear martini, didn't care for it.I ordered the infamous Caesar salad which is one of the best Caesar salads I've had. The scallops and grits were pretty filling. My son just had a pepperoni pizza which he enjoyed, my daughter had chicken Alfredo, it was ok, then they split a tiramisu, which was good. Even though the views were nice, I'm not quite sure if I will be returning.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the experience. Free valet parking. No wait for a high top by the window overlooking the ocean. The orange crush was just ok for me. It would be more fun with whipped topping and cherries. I did like the espresso martini. I requested extra chocolate and they hooked me up. I liked the flounder but I'm definitely trying something different next time. My friend enjoyed her manicotti. Minus a star for charging me for desert and forgetting to put it in the bag.

Yelp
I've been coming to this restaurant for years with my parents every time we vacation in Virginia Beach. It's one of the best dining experiences you can have in the area and it won't completely break your bank. First of all, the restaurant is on the top floor of the Holiday Inn, so it has a beautiful view overlooking the beach and boardwalk. The service is always incredible - we have never had a bad waiter/waitress in the many years we've been coming! My family and I always order the caesar salads which are made table-side and are huge! It's fun to watch the homemade dressing being made right in front of you. We also always get the fried calamari to start because of how fresh and light it is. Served with a piping hot marinara sauce to dip, it just hits the spot every time. Over the years, I've had many of their main courses as well and would recommend the lasagna and the veal piccatta. However, even a dish as simple as their spaghetti is amazing! You really can't go wrong here. Lastly, the prices are fair for the service and quality youre getting. Unfortunately, the homemade caesars have really increased in price over the years, but you're also paying for the production and it really is quite worth it. If you like Italian food and are in the area, this is the place to go!

Yelp
Been going here for years and the food has always been good. Last night everything was below average and they got me so upset I won't be returning. We had a reservation and I followed up and asked to be seated next to the window. When we got to the restaurant we were taken to the last table at the back of the restaurant which had a party of 8 loud men surrounding our table. It was so tight at the table we couldn't even sit on both sides of the table. ( one person would have to sent on side ( we had a party of 3). I told the hostess I didn't want to sit there seeing there were 4 other empty tables. I was told they were all reserved and only after I said we were leaving did they make the effort to set a table that was already cleaned. The food took almost an hour to get and was lukewarm and nothing special for the price . And 2 of those tables were never occupied. Never an apology .., I felt like they were doing me a favor eating there.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Beautiful view, delicious food and wine, and amazing service. Couldn't have asked for a better last night in Virginia Beach. If I ever make it back to this city I will definitely be finding myself here again.

Isabelle L.

Yelp
Great place, good food, and excellent service! We had an amazing night dining, and we owe it all to Erica, who was the best server we could have asked for. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and was incredibly attentive throughout the entire meal. She took the time to explain the menu, made great recommendations and effortlessly made sure everything was just perfect. We'll definitely be back, and we're hoping to be seated in Erica's section again!

Yelp
Absolute best Caesar salad I have EVER had! A MUST TRY! The scampi I ordered was a little on the drier and under flavored side. The shrimp was delicious but I added a lot of Parmesan to it and it tasted really good! The red wine was delicious. We ordered calamari and shrimp lombardy. Both were fantastic and super delicious! Got cheesecake for dessert. We brought our 10 month old daughter because we were on vacation and I got the view that the staff were none too thrilled. So be aware of that! Stunning views of the ocean! Would absolutely return!

Roy F.

Yelp
First off looks like it's run by kids. Lack of professionalism. Food was just ok. I got sick from the Caesar salad. Pork chop was burnt when I asked for Medium. The view was great but I went for great food and had great nausea.

Yelp
Amazing Experience! This restaurant has attentive staff, great ambience, beautiful views (from every seat) and THE FOOD! Went on date night on a Monday. Online said there were no reservations so we left a message. They called back and were able to accommodate us. Started with the mussels and mushrooms as appetizer and they did not disappoint. Was so many options I wanted to try on the menu but I chose the Scallop Limone and the scallops were perfect! Pasta was a little dry so I added grated Parmesan. Martini was strong, no complaints there. Husband enjoyed an Ol Fashion pork chop dish and capri salad. We will definitely come back bc Id like to try more menu ideas.

Yelp
The atmosphere was lovely, intimate, peaceful and simply beautiful looking over the water. Our server, Donald, was attentive, pleasant and helpful! The meal was quite good. Started with a grilled portobello mushroom appetizer, and moved on to a delicious angel hair primavera, loaded with flavor and fresh, crisp vegetables. Highly recommend this establishment - one of the nicest in Virginia Beach!

Mz M.

Yelp
Traveled from Philadelphia to take my husband to a great dining experience. Isle of Capri did not disappoint. The service, our waiter AZ, the food and the scenery were all excellent. This was my second visit, his first; we're already planning another visit for next year.

Yelp
Fantastic table side made Caesar salad Flounder was the best I have ever had View was fabulous and service impeccable Can't wait to return

Yelp
Hands down the best caesar salad I've had in town! Authentic Italian flavors. From the appetizer, we had calamari, their marinara sauce tastes like what I had in Italy. Friendly staff and having an ocean view is not bad.

Yelp
Went here for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant was upstairs & not super busy but busy enough. We were seated immediately - had a reservation. Had a nice seat by the window overlooking the beach and sunset! Our server was great. Made us feel welcomed and he was very knowledgeable. Lots of regulars in the restaurant - bit of an older crowd. We ordered a few drinks (scotch) and entrees. Husband got the sausage and peppers & I got the lemon pasta (forgot the name). Food was good and had an authentic taste. This is a nice older restaurant for a quiet night.

Yelp
If you're in VA beach and want to be treated to a delicious and elegant dinner, this is where you need to go! They usually only take reservations, however, we were able to get a high top table by the bar. The bartender was busy so the host took care of us. She was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we ordered the Caesar salad tableside, she let us know they typically don't do that at the high top tables. Seeing our disappointment, she went out of her way to do it for us herself. It was AMAZING. The best Caesar salad I've ever had. Freshly made dressing that was garlicky snd perfectly tangy. Topped with homemade croutons. As entrees, we got the lobster ravioli which was creamy and warm. Definitely a success. The rack of lamb and sides was less successful and the only reason the review is a 4 rather than 5 . It lacked seasoning and the vegetables appeared to be frozen. Overall, excellent.
google avatar

Dee H.

Yelp
I had reservations for two but unfortunately the other half couldn't make it. I was fill able to be sat at a table with a beautiful view. This in my opinion is the selling point of the restaurant. I had a couple glasses of Prosecco to pair with my appetizer and entree. For my appetizer I had the Shrimp Lombardy. The sauce was delicious! I wish there was seasoning of some sort added to the shrimp. For the main course I had scallops al limone. Once again, the sauce was delicious. There was once again just a lack of flavor with the protein of the dish. I can't say that I'd revisit but it was nice view.
google avatar

Cullen H.

Yelp
The view is spectacular and the food reminds me of when we lived in Gaeta when my father was stationed there. This is a bit pricey, but our favorite special occasion restaurant.
google avatar

Shilisa D.

Yelp
The restaurant has a great view of the ocean! The food and service was subpar. The server was a little impatient and short. We had to ask him about the menu and special. He was quick and short with his answers. The lobster ravioli has mince lobster which I could not taste. The she crab and lobster ravioli was very bland. The she crab had very little crab meat. Probably will not patronize again.
google avatar

Yelp
I was staying within walking distance, so I came here for dinner and it did not disappoint. They had blue cheese olives so I had a martini to start. Then I had She Crab Soup, which was very good. For the entry, I had the penne pasta with shrimp in a cream sauce which was extraordinary. My waitress was doubling as the bartender and she was very good, my martini was one of the best l've had and my food was delivered in the proper timing. The view of the ocean and beach was brought me here (great ambiance) but the food and service will bring me back!

Yelp
My fiancee has been here a few times with friends and kept telling me that we needed to come try this restaurant with expansive ocean views (think like Orion's Roof) for a while. Finally, this past weekend, I was able to try when his parents invited us here for dinner with them. I was expecting it to be pretty nice because of what I had been told, but most people probably overlook it because it sits atop the Holiday Inn at the oceanfront. There is an express elevator and valet parking and once we reached the top there were about 6 people waiting to be seated ahead of us on Saturday night at 7:30. It took a while to be seated so we looked at the bar area with hightop tables, bar seating, and some nice wrap booths overlooking the ocean. We were seated at a table in the back by the windows and our server, Michael, quickly came with water and menus to welcome us. He was clipped, professional, friendly and prompt. He was a very good server and took excellent care of us. He mentioned the kitchen was understaffed (as are they all now) and so as long as we weren't in a rush we would be fine, but if we were, we should tell him ASAP so he could get our food in. We weren't, but I love the attention to the pace of the meal and the head's up, very professional. We had a few starters, and we did not get their famous table-side Cesar salad so we will get that next time. Instead we got the tomato mozzarella salad and house salad. Wasn't impressed with either, they were OK, but the caprese-like salad was swimming in too much balsamic and the house salad was just underwhelming. We went with a nightly special for our entree and split it - the flounder francese - lightly egg battered and fried atop pasta which we got on the side with tomato sauce. The flounder was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and wonderful and the side of pasta and red sauce was also a nice touch. We also got dessert and coffee - delicious warm fresh coffee is always a true test of place I think, because it ends strong as well. Theirs was warm and delicious and they kept the refills coming as we chatted and enjoyed our evening. We tried the tiramisu and the lemon cake. I loved the tiramisu and only liked the lemon cake. All in all, the food was great, they have an excellent menu, service was stellar and I'd love to come back and enjoy the views during summer at dusk. We made friends with a kind couple on the elevator and had a great chat with them and were surprised by the amount of people dining inside who were mostly regulars. This is by far a hidden gem here at the beach where locals come in off season to enjoy. Check it out if you've never been, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Upon arriving to the restaurant we were a little unsure where to park. The parking garage adjacent to the hotel had available parking but there was no indication that restaurant patrons could park there. We were scared we'd get towed. We should've opted for valet service. Entering the restaurant the hostess was warm and welcoming and fulfilled our request to have a window seat despite the rain we were getting. Our server was great and answered any questions we had. The restaurant was full but our food came in a timely manner. It was delicious! No complaints about the bread, salad, entree or dessert. I know it's more of an upper class restaurant but feel the prices were on the higher end. Especially dessert. The only negative thing I have to say is I feel as though my husband and I'm were sort of an afterthought because our server was also tending to other larger parties of 6-8+ people. I'm not taking anything from our server or the other servers in the restaurant because they were all hustling and not standing around talking. He just never came back and asked us if our entrees were good or if we needed anything. Nonetheless, he was still tipped well.

Sara K.

Yelp
Food was excellent! The table side Caesar salad was perfect. The scallops were also cooked appropriately.

Linda N.

Yelp
Located in the holiday Inn on Atlantic, it is a must visit. Take the express elevator with windows to the ocean. If you reserve a table while still daylight you are treated to wide open views of the ocean and the activities on the beach and ocean. We had the Caesar salad made table side, $15 per person is pricey but so worth the treat. The bread is warm, crusty and delicious. We had veal dishes, so tender and delightful. The service was good. Not an inexpensive night, but so worth a special occasion. Note that there is a dress code. No beachwear, athletic wear or hats.
google avatar

Dennis M.

Yelp
Food was terrible. Spaghetti was cold and spicy, I recommend going to Olive Garden instead (that's how you know it was bad). Seafood was overcooked and when we asked for a new piece they gave us a hard time and acted like we were the problem for wanting to send it back. Service was terrible, don't even bother complaining just pay and leave (if you even decide it's worth paying). All you will get back is staff that treat you colder than the food. This restaurant is a huge skip. Do not go. Especially for the prices, they are so inconsiderate of how guests should be treated.
google avatar

Kathy B.

Yelp
I was sold when I saw a fresh bowl of Parmesan and a bottle of olive oil on every table. The dining area overlooks the Ocean off the 6th floor with many tables at the windows themselves. Ambiance. Beautifully decorated as well. All the staff superior are on every level. Food is beyond delicious. We shared the mussels marinara. Could have eaten that sauce on its own! We also shared the entree of Linguine with clam sauce (reasonable shared plate charge). Perfect! Highly recommended!

Yelp
The Isle of Capri has good food, great service, and the best view on the oceanfront! Valet parking and a private elevator to the sixth floor restaurant make it easy.

Steve Holcomb

Yelp
Don't go on New Year's Eve unless you have the last sitting because we went earlier and was rushed to eat and leave. Therefore ruined the celebration and distracted from the food.

Nicolas L.

Yelp
Food was good staff was friendly. Also ambiance was beautiful ocean front from 6th floor.

Yelp
Visited for dinner on a rainy Sunday evening in January to celebrate a birthday. Our server was wonderful; she was knowledgeable and gave us great advice and attention. The view is gorgeous. Some other restaurants boast a "beach view", and where only a few tables actually have an unobstructed view. Just about every table at Isle of Capri has a beach view, and it was very romantic to watch the cold, empty beach while staying cozy inside with delicious cocktails and fabulous food. Can't wait to return - this is a new favorite!

Yelp
A family member who lives here, told me about this place. It was very good! Clams Casino were on the money! The beef carpaccio was ok. Not as raw as we like it. Caesar salad was great! And the scallops with the Italian grits was good. Then we had the Mozart cake. Service was excellent.

Dawn M.

Yelp
Very nice upscale restaurant. Food is pricey as to be expected but the food is also high quality and cooked to perfection. The filet with potatoes and table side handmade Caesar salad is a must!! Chicken Florentine, as well as the Veal Parmesan are also a great choice. Waitstaff is professional and knowledgeable. They definitely deliver upscale service but also make you feel comfortable. Beautiful oceanfront views while you dine.

Blake M.

Yelp
My groups experience was phenomenal. The ambience was superb and every seat in the restaurant had a great view. The music was great to listen to as background noise. The food was very good and you could tell was made with care. The staff was very inviting and added to the overall exceptional experience. You could tell the staff had some passion behind their work. I hope I am able to come back to this fine established sometime in the future!

Mary C.

Yelp
Outstanding service. Food was excellent and plentiful. Beautiful ocean view. Best to make reservations in advance.
google avatar

Yelp
First time there and it was great! Table-side prep of a perfect Caesar salad is popular and it did not disappoint, along with overall great service. Classic Italian fare done very well and the views and ambience are fantastic. Not as high up as Orion's Roof for views, of course, but a great spot all its own.
google avatar

Ara A.

Yelp
First time here and it was a good experience. Nice view of the ocean front. I had the shrimp sorrentino which was a creamy tomato basil sauce, hubby had the spaghetti with sausage and the spicy fra diavalo sauce.

Jessica V.

Yelp
Have been waiting to try this place and have reason to go out to the ocean front. However, we were not welcomed. They said they were booked for the evening, but their online reservation system had availability for 2. So loved getting judge the 30 seconds of walking in. Asked if we could have a drink at the completely empty bar, they said they couldn't accommodate us. As a Hampton roads local, I'll take our business elsewhere.

Travis W.

Yelp
Excellent service. Fantastic view at the ocean front. Great food. Given how expensive it is, the interior needs an upgrade. Recommend.

Sheri L.

Yelp
Food was amazing, and very flavorful. Our waiter was very patient, as my friends 10 year old son was with us, and kind. The service was great. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the Virginia Beach area. View is great as well.

Jill C.

Yelp
Came in for date night and had a great experience. The location is beautiful and feels secluded. The service was great. The shrimp melted in your mouth like butter. The pasta was fresh and garlicky. My only complaint was the dessert. The icing on my Mozart cake was hard like it had been sitting in the fridge too long, overly sweet and dry. The berries for garnish were also very under-ripe. FOOD: 4 SERVICE: 5 AMBIANCE: 5
google avatar

Sarou C.

Yelp
Very beautiful restaurant overlooking the ocean front. We came fairly early so it was daylight out and not too many people in the restaurant. I felt like it was almost too quiet in there. Maybe we should've made reservations for later in the day? We basically whispered the entire time lol. Service was great. Our waiter was sweet and attentive. I had gotten sauce on my dress and he came by with seltzer water for me to wipe it. Kudos to him! For dinner I had the fra diavolo. Very light marinara sauce. It was delicious. I would get it again. All in all it was a gorgeous restaurant, amazing service and delicious food. I would recommend for a romantic date!

Yelp
I've been eating here 20 years. Took some relatives, because I'm moving and they were visiting. My relatives were driving an RV and didn't have dressy things, so I wore a screen printed shirt that still cost more than the host with the bow tie's outfit cost alone. The host told me my screen printed T-Shirt wouldn't allow me in. I've ate at this place wearing worse and better for that matter. I eat here with two people on the regular and have about four or five bookers or Elijah Craig. My bills usually about over $200 for two people and I tip over $40 usually because I want to give 20%. My man smugly told me I wasn't appropriate and I needed to leave and then look down at the book. Tried to ignore me. He's lucky I didn't make a scene in there for everybody sick not just mine but for his as well. I've spent maybe $10,000 in this place in the last 20 years. I'll never be back because my cologne alone cost more than his whole outfit. My shoes alone cost him more than his whole outfit. My watch obviously I could keep going. But to be turned away from a 500 $600 meal I was about to spend in there with four people and nothing but alcohol and dinner I wouldn't go here and I will tell everybody I know to never go here again even the locals that I've been going here for years

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant. Had an open table. Kids being kids. Staff was always helpful and with good senses of humor
