Isle of Palms Recreation Department

I only have experience with the playground here and nothing else! But the playground is phenomenal and a must visit while on the isle of palm! This is our second time visiting this playground and they did a major upgrade to it and it is one of the best playgrounds we’ve seen!

I was looking for a playground for my 5 year old and almost 2 year old and I'm SO glad I found this!!! Has some trees for some shade, access to bathroom, lots of different equipment, and easy parking! My boys had a great time! Clean and well kept!

Great workout facility with ⚽ soccer fields, 🎾 tennis courts, 🏀 basketball courts and even indoor gyms. Great place to beat the heat or stay outside and kick a ball around. They also have an excellent playground with amazing swings, slides, and seesaws. They have adjacent ♿ handicap accessible parking, 🚻 restrooms, and ramps.

Very clean place had a nice baseball field batting cages two basketball courts a little punching bag that was actually on the basketball goal pole itself. A nice open field to bring the dogs or play football or frisbee. Everyone was getting along playing with each other there are a bunch of people there with golf carts. I'll post some pictures very nice place five stars all day

My 3 year old loved this park and was able to use most of the equipment. A lot of it was shaded while we were there too (about 9AM). Highly recommend!

Me & my wife really enjoyed the two pickelball courts available here. They are both in excellent shape.

Isle of Palms Recreation Department on Isle of Palms is a great place to go for all things recreation and much more. I really like their basketball and tennis courts that they have available here. I have had a really good experience every time I have been here.

Great for kids!!!! Particularly if you need a break for kids and not just going to the beach. GPS struggled to get me there though, and took me through the back entry of the Rec department so we had to four wheel through a little haha

For those of who who have little children who tire of the beach this park has a terrific playground. It also has a big soccer field for the slightly older kids.

We went here for a Dog Days event, but from the look of the rec center, it was very nice. Weight and cardio machines in a room, basketball courts with bleachers, inside. Outside there were tennis courts and other fields. . Everything looked well maintained. MOST IMPORTANT:::::: They have their own parking lot!
