Seattle’s 12 Best Farmers Markets to Discover This Fall | Eater

"If you smell the coffee roasting on-site from Valente, you’re in the right spot for this suburb’s seasonal Saturday market. In the shadow of the mountains, with easy access to local farms, there’s plenty of interesting produce woven in among the crafts and concession stands here. Look for organic vegetables or plants to take home from Oxbow Farm, a variety of berries from Skagit Sun, lots of green beans and cucumbers from Duris Farms, and a fascinating array of mushrooms from Fruit of the Woods." - Vox Creative

I went for the first time today, and it was lovely! Lots of vendors, and good food. So many kinds of booths, including crochet, honey, mushrooms, microgreens, fruits and veggies, leather and woodwork, ice cream, flowers, hummus, coffee, the list goes on. Definitely worth stopping by! Support your communities and local farmers!! :)<3

Google
We went for the first time and are so glad that we found a new farmer's market for fresh and high-quality groceries! There is a huge variety in offerings including local honey, bakeries, food trucks, fresh pasta, and flowers to name a few. A true gem in the community!

Google
Lovely farmers market with lots of of space to walk around. Dog friendly ( on short leash) with food trucks and other food tents.

Google
This is a great example of a farmers market done well. There's plenty of parking in the adjacent multi-story, although it does get a bit frantic getting in and out of there to say the least. There are a decent number of farmer stalls as well. The produce largely the same, but that means that the choice is good for the consumer. There's also a really good smattering of food trucks and artisanal crafts and everything else in between. A good family atmosphere and now welcoming dogs, which means the family can all come along and there's something for everybody. A pretty good morning out on a Saturday from my perspective.

One of the best farmers market I have been till now in Washington. It is very lively and has lots of fresh fruits especially berries for a reasonable price. The flower bouquets are a feast for our eyes. The food is so delicious and it keeps on changing week to week although some stalls are present every week. There is a waffle stall which gets sold out very quickly. If you plan on going I highly recommend to visit that stall first. The French bakery stall sells Canele which is my personal favourite of the market. They taste so authentic. Also lots of Asian food stalls. The best part you get to hear live music. There is big dedicated parking space for the market. Also you can park at Costco which is on the opposite side of this market.

Google
We try to get to this farmers market once a summer. Lots of parking in the Costco garage. Nice selection of vendors as well as food choices. We are at the panda dim sum, Italian stuffed bread, joca coffee, chayan coffee. Purchased lavender items and of course Rainier cherries and vegetables from the vendors.

Google
This is the best kept secret farmers market on this side of the pass! I was astonished at the size, the selection, and the prices!!!! We bought so much from vegan fudge, to indian tonics, to flowers, fruit, plants and more! We made 2 trips to the car which was fine because the parking was so close. Everyone was really friendly and the prices were super affordable! Will definitely make it a habit to go here during farmers market season.

Google
Great farmers market in a nice location. I especially loved the Pressed on Main Organic Juice and Oxbow Organic Farm and Conservation booths, as well as the Master Gardeners who had some books on native plants. I hope more organic growers will vend here in the future. It was a little sad for me to see so many beautiful berries and veggies, but I believe wholeheartedly in the ethics of organic practices, so that's who I support with my dollars. I'm happy to see so many people supporting local here. Overall a great market! They also have a produce washing station as well as bathrooms in the building near the booths.

Yelp
Easy parking at the Costco HQ (not the store! They will tow you). Follow signs to parking. Dogs are allowed this year, they didn't used to be. It opens at 9, but I find getting there 9:30 or later is better as some booths set up at 9. Both coffee spots are great! One is Thai and the other is a local roaster. Good selection of booths, always great for produce and florals and honey. There are a few food truck / stands and fresh pastries as well. A great morning walk! Not too crowded, friendly vendors.

Yelp
What an amazing Farmer's Market. Such variety of produce, flowers, grocery and fresh food to eat in a park like setting. Wish I lived up here - I'd make it a regular outing!

Yelp
A first timer to this Farmer's Market! Arrived at 8:55 AM, right before it opened at 9:00 AM. Waited in a long line of people until we were all allowed to enter. Walked around to see different flower vendors, fruit and produce, food vendors - a Thai Iced coffee and Thai Iced Tea food truck, Chinese food, Indian cuisine, Mexican Tacos and Quesadillas. A Mini Donut stand was there, Chips and Salsa, Kettle Popcorn and a few other Pastry vendors. Definitely a whole lot of people! Lines of people buying stuff at most of the fresh fruit and veggie vendors, so you'll kind of have to maneuver around the crowds to pick out what you want... Bought a whole box of Sweet Strawberry Cherries from Ayala Farms!!! Simply the BEST!!! Got some Dumplings, Chicken Tacos, Chicken Quesadillas and Caramel Popcorn! As for our drinks, ordered a Thai Iced Coffee and a Passion Fruit Lemonade from Chayen Coffee!! Food tasted great! And drinks were very flavorful and refreshing. I can say that they are little pricier than normal for the food items and drinks, but if you go once in a while to support these local vendors, all worth it!

Yelp
Was going to Costco, and saw they had this farmer's market going on, so we decided to stop here after. UT was a beautiful day for it. The market was much much bigger than I thought it would be, and a lot of vendor to look at. A good amount of food options, since I wanted a snack. And got some flowers. Would probably come wander around again.

Yelp
Lots of vendors selling their goods. Wonderful to support local artisans and businesses. Lots of variety in the selections of what to eat. This little farmers market has really grown over the years since I first started coming here. Lucky to find Asian pears for $1.50 a bound and orange beets for $2 a bunch (3 medium to large orange beets. Will you my instant pot to pressure cook for this weeks salads at home.
google avatar

Yelp
Always friendly and always have amazing looking and tasting produce. The size and condition of their lettuce always astounds me! $3.50-4 for a ginormous head of lettuce is a steal of a deal when it feeds a family of four with two teenagers!! They also have a good variety of other produce for what seems like a smaller farm. Their price on beautiful floral bouquets seems to be $10-15 when most of the other floral bouquets in the Issaquah Farmers market are at least $15-20. Support this local business and you'll be sure to enjoy the "fruits" of their hard labor!! (Pun intended )

Yelp
Fun little farmers market that is open during the summer months till around the end of September. Tons of fresh flowers and produce options! A few food stands as well, I only saw 1 coffee place called Chayen coffee, they had a lot of Thai drinks & non coffee options as well! We only came here for a quick visit after we grabbed Costco gas. We needed some coffee for our drive to Leavenworth for the weekend. We tried the cafe (Thai coffee) and the green Thai coffee latte both iced in the 24oz. It was lot of drink! Hard for me to carry both until I met up with my hubby. Drinks were both really good in flavor and the cafe has a strong coffee taste. We will have to come back another Saturday to check out the rest of the market! No pets allowed at this market, which is a huge bummer, but service animals are allowed of course... Maybe their policy will change in the future bc I know our pup loves to join us for Saturday markets!

Yelp
Overcrowded, overpriced, and people were harassing us with pride flags. "Local" includes every region in Washington State, apparently. There's little to no detailed information about the vendors, if you want to learn their region and story. Several of the lines were long and slow. If you want to spend $8 on a croissant, $8 on 1lb of cherries, and $5 on an average coffee, and then leave stressed, this is the place for you.
google avatar

Piko L.

Yelp
The booths are all spaced apart for safety and all the vendors wear masks. People in attendance are also social distancing accordingly, following the new rules: any bought food has to be eaten in the designated food court area or away from premises. There are sanitizing stations and signs encouraging the mask--all comforting sights. Parking in the structure is easy and the crowds don't get too crazy, I'm glad I went to support our local farmers!

Yelp
This is one of the better options for farmer's market on the eastside. I love the many vendors here including bakery goods (pastries were $8. Wow!) There was a Chinook smoked stand and we were able to get half off on a busted plastic seal from the package. I was able to try some bakeries from Seattle (The French Guy). The Snohomish bakery also looked good with the sweets and breads. You can park at the Costco parking lot adjacent to the market. I love how there is grassy and shady area for people to sit down. Overall this might be my favorite place out of the all the farmer markets I have checked out so far).

Yelp
Updating my review to talk about the way they've been dealing with Covid19. Overall, I'm pretty impressed. They have a one-way entrance with staff guiding people in. Occasionally lines do form, since they are limiting the number of shoppers at one time, but they have cones marking 6 feet of distance. They verbally screen for symptoms and have several hand sanitizer stations. At the exit, they have a space where you can leave your purchases with a staff member for you to go to your car and come back for curbside pick-up. The "cons" are all understandable: There are less venders, which is sad, but they have more space between them. You are no longer allowed to select your own produce, which is safer for everyone. Also, vendors won't place produce into reusable bags (you have to use their plastic bags, but then you can place that inside of a bigger reusable bag.)

Yelp
2022 market is back with good amount of vendors & food tents. Mushroom vendor is very popular. Fun place to browse Saturday mornings with easy parking in the Costco Corporate garage (thanks Costco). I usually get small kettle corn ($3), veggies, zucchini mini loaf from Forest Fairy Bakery, dried apple chips, fresh shiitake mushrooms, chips & salsa, etc. local honey also available.

Yelp
My wife and I try to visit the Issaquah Farmers Market every week. It's a fantastic place with great organic produce and delicious food. We also love the occasional live music, especially when there's a cellist. It has a great grass park for families to picnic at and enjoy the occasion.

Yelp
This farmers market is organized nicely. The vendors are placed in such a way that you can walk through without feeling overly crowded. A variety of food vendors, coffee vendors, dessert items, bakery items, flowers, and fresh produce. The vendors are friendly and the attendees are respectful. You can easily tell who the favorite vendors are at this market as there will usually be a longer line there. Cash is preferred by some of the vendors but most will have a square system to pay with a card. There is an ATM and bathroom facility inside the red barn as you walk through the entrance area. If you get there when the market opens, there's plenty of parking. Lately, Costco has been a bit more strict in where market attendees can park but they usually have signs posted saying "Costco only". Also, for dog owners, dogs are not allowed at this market.

Yelp
One of the better farmers markets I have been too. Nice variety of vendors. Diverse food options. We tried a breakfast corn dog, it had pancake batter with a pork breakfast sausage inside, served with syrup. It was pretty good. Then we grabbed some bakery items from Little Prague. A iced chai from Alpine Chai, it was delicious. We also grabbed some fresh, organic meat from Windy N Ranch. Overall, a nice, clean farmers market if you are looking for something to do on a Saturday morning/early afternoon.
google avatar

Yelp
I prefer to visit other nearby farmers markets that allow dogs, such as the Thursday afternoon market at Bellevue Presbyterian Church or the Tuesday afternoon Crossroads Farmers Market or the Redmond Saturday Market.

M K.

Yelp
We stopped by last weekend with our teenagers and was left appalled. The market has an array of vendors and is nice. But, one vendor ruined it all. The vendor was practically wearing a cloth wrapped around herself, her side boobs were clearly exposed and visible and her short shorts did not help. There is no dress code or dignity with this market's vendors it seems. Our teenager son were very uncomfortable, this is not a family market.
google avatar

Jodie H.

Yelp
Love this market! It's spacious, clean, and very well run. The variety of vendors is impressive. It's honestly the best farmer's market with a hundred mile radius.

Yelp
My favorite time of the year is when the weather is nice enough to roam around the many farmers markets that pop up throughout Spring and Fall season. The Issaquah Farmers Market is the closest to me and honestly has everything I need. They have wonderful vendors selling everything! Flowers, jewelry, cheese, wine, beer, oils! While this market is a bit smaller than others, it's mighty with their selections. They are open mid May starting at 9 am on Saturday's and this is my weekly ritual! I would also recommend coming hungry. They have a lot of food trucks and vendors with delicious selections. My favorite is Seattle Pops, especially on a warm day!

Yelp
It's so nice to start mornings off with a visit to this market which runs Saturdays from 9am-2pm during the summer. The Pickering Barn area provides a nice layout with numerous vendors, several hot food options and entertainment by the gazebo. I just wish there was more seating given that it gets pretty crowded by lunch time. There is abundant parking in the Costco Corporate garage, which is just a few-minute walk away. Also, although there are no vendors in the actual Pickering Barn, its restrooms are open. The market hosted many more vendors than I had anticipated. A large number of them are food items, a few sell produce / flowers and some craft vendors are mixed in. Definitely grab an ice cream bar from Seattle Pops - they are natural and delicious! If you are into pasta, there is a vendor (Pappardelle's) who offers it in unique flavor combinations that won't be found in stores. Another must is Pinckney's Cookies, which are so chewy and decadent without being overly sweet. When it comes to the hot food options, there is something for everyone to enjoy - including Asian, Greek, tacos and seafood. One thing is for sure....you'll leave happy and full (even if just from all the free samples)!

Yelp
What an awesome place for fresh vegetables and fruits and so much more! I made my spa water with amazing mint I got for only $2 and made my breakfast burritos with chives

Yelp
June and on the hunt for Rainer cherries? Find them here! We have checked our various markets to no avail! Finally came here on our way to the pass and found them! Cute market with a good mix of farmers, artisan and food stands! Ample parking but do not allow dogs and a handful of stalls are cash-only.

Jesena M.

Yelp
What a lovely farmers market! I've been to some around the area, but just made it down to this one earlier this summer. Great parking in the costco garage nearby, live music and a huge choice of vendors. I came to get some of the Pickney's cookies and ended up buying a lot of veggies and fruit and grabbed lunch. This is really a fun place to spend 2 hours on a Saturday

Yelp
I love going to Farmers Market to get fresh goods and I like the Issaquah one. Always have friendly vendors and good selections of food booth and food trucks on site. The setting here very nice comparing to other smaller ones. I love how organized this is with clear sign to parking lot that always have space available. The garden setting is lovely, lots of beautiful flowers blooming.

Yelp
What a wonderful way to start your Saturday by going to a Farmer's Market ! We came here pretty late - about 1.5 hours before this FM closes. We came in mostly to try the Seattle Pops that one of my fellow Yelpers raved about but they were completely out of Coconut Cream pops. There was live music despite the fact that it wasn't the sunniest Saturday mornings in June. A lot of fresh vegetable vendors. We stopped by a couple of information booths- solar panels and King County Metro. To our surprise, the King County metro offered us free $25 orca card reload money or REI gift certificate just to ride bikes/buses. I normally take the bus when I am going to Seattle so this worked out perfectly well for us. It's the "greenest" easy money I have made!! The girls who explained us the program and promotion were awesome and very comfortable to talk to. Parking is across the street at Costco parking - you will find signs to route you to the FM parking. The FM opens at 9 am and closes at 2 pm every Saturday in summer.

Yelp
The Issaquah Farmers Market is an excellent source of organic produce and local charm. I love visiting the market every weekend to browse the vast product selections and pick up delicious snacks. There are several street food vendors at the market offering cuisine from around the world. The organizers have done a fantastic job operating throughout the pandemic and I have always felt that the market is a safe and clean place. Masks are optional now for vaccinated patrons, but I see many people still wearing them. All of the vendors are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their products. I have never had a bad experience visiting this wonderful market.

Yelp
Wow this market is fairly big! There's a lot of produce vendors. You can get fresh potatoes, tomatoes, beets, herbs (cilantro, green onions, mint, etc.), zucchini, kale, squash, and corn. The corn is my favorite! I bought a dozen to grill over the weekend and they were so flipping sweet and delicious. The gentleman I purchased from even gave me a card to return to receive 4 free cobs next time I'm there. Nice. Hot foods: A few good food vendors including tacos, mediterranean, Thai, and these meat baguette log thing-a-ma-bobbers just to name a few. Most take plastic, but there is a ATM nearby if needed. There's even a donut stand. Miscellaneous: honey vendor and a couple of crafts. Parking is a challenge but not impossible. We parked in the Costco's corporate lot.
google avatar

Yelp
I prefer this Farmer's Market to the one in Redmond. Just as much variety in a much nicer and lower key setting. We went close to open so maybe it gets as crazy/busy as the one in Redmond. Parking is easy too (at least early in the day). Despite the lower key setting, there is just as much variety. Some of the produce prices were very reasonable/comparable to grocery store prices too. For much better quality produce. Lots of interesting food stands. We were able to score baba ghanouj from Byblos Deli (good), macarons, and other treats. When we were there a reptile show was just being set up with a very cool turtle on display. My kids wanted to stay but we had other plans. Great place to come for quality produce and specialty items.

Yelp
having lived in and out of the upper east side over the last dozen years - i never had the chance to go to the farmers market until this past weekend and what fun it was! Of course it being post covid - there was lots of people out. Masks were suggested but not mandatory for vaccinated folks. booths were still nicely spaced to be able to handle all the people and the sun was shining beautifully that day. Plenty to do and see in among the stands - the left side (when coming into the entrance) had lots of different home made goods and vendors which i thoroughly enjoyed - the right side had a variety of vendors but mostly all the same fresh fruits and produce. So it was a matter of picking your favorite farms and supporting them. There was about two or three food trucks in the back and a two stands serving food up front - I would have preferred to see a few more options for food vendors but over all a great and fun time! I look forward to coming back for more fresh fruits and supporting local business.

Yelp
Delicious food and friendly atmosphere. Delightful fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Parking is a little far away but there is a shortcut beside the parking garage. Fun fun fun!

Yelp
As someone who has gone to the Saturday Issaquah Farmers Market since it first opened years ago, I'm disturbed at the difficulty I had going this morning. I'm disabled and every other year I have been able to park at the 10 minute load area due to my difficulty walking and standing. I know which vendor I need to purchase my veggies from and I'm never too long. When I parked there and walked in at precisely 9 AM I was met by a someone saying I couldn't come in that way because of Covid issues I told them that I'm disabled and have trouble walking and asked to speak to someone in charge so that I might explain. That was where Jemma came into the picture. She was terribly rude She demanded I leave immediately, I said I would. But she insisted on escorting me out all the way to the other end of the market over a block away. I asked if I could just walk to my car she said "no" and demanded I walk with her. I told her I didn't need an escort and she was embarrassing me and asking me walk the long way around INTO the crowd waiting to come in. She walked me part way and shouted into her radio in voice you could hear across the market that she needed someone to meet her part way so they could escort me the rest of the way (away from my car) and in front of customers in a line in front of me. The person she called over was obviously embarrassed on my behalf. I was mortified and humiliated having to tell everyone I was having trouble walking and I have a handicap permit with me. Going out the back way I had to walk all the way back to my car. I drove around to the costco parking lot. (for market parking) parked in a handicapped spot and had to walk all the way around the parking structure to get in line. I passed a number of elderly people trying to sit on the curb while waiting. It was horrible. Because I need my fresh groceries I waited and wobbled and held onto the plastic cones with my gloves and mask on. After forced to walk and stand over a half mile I was let in when to my vendor was there less then ten minutes had to walk all the way around the market to get back to my parking spot. Now I'm exhausted and had to take a pain pill just to walk across my living room. The market needs a special line for Handicapped People. I have NEVER had a problem like this anywhere before. Even the busiest stores have had special lines/parking and help for those of us handicapped and high risk. This is a Federal Violation of access laws aside from human decency. My favorite vendor gave me his personal number so that I can buy directly from him in the future. Today was a nightmare I hope not to repeat as much as I love the market I can't go back until they make arrangements for those of us unable to walk or stand long. Interesting difference from last year when I fell on my face in the middle of the market and immediately had folks stop and help me. Shame on you Jemma. and the market for not thinking to include all.

Yelp
We've recently moved from downtown Seattle to Sammamish, so the concept of going to a farmers market regularly is pretty new to me: I've gone to a couple in Seattle but they were really expensive and IMHO not worth it. Well, the story is different with Issaquah. First off, it's fun. And if you have kids, they'll be asking to go every weekend. So far, we've seen a reptile petting zoo (you could pet an alligator!), gone a thousand times down the bouncy house slides (absolutely free), and listened (and danced!) to a lot of local music. This has become our favorite thing to do every Saturday morning. Parking is easy and we've never had a problem finding a spot. It's always busy and good stuff sells out fast so you probably want to get here before 11. On the actual market: the produce varies from week to week and everything is super seasonal. Now that I've become a regular, I have my farmers that I like to buy certain things from. I have bought the best tomatoes and cucumbers here (we literally stopped buying these anywhere else - sorry, Costco!), young potatoes and beans, lots of herbs (I love my fresh mint tea and could eat cardboard if it's covered with dill), and various fruit (peaches and apricots last week!) and berries (though, to be fair, the berries are a bit pricey if you ask me). I've bought fresh flowers here as well and they last well and are pretty unique. A couple of times, you could buy fresh eggs and milk, but it's been spotty. You can buy home-made pasta, sauces, and jams, as well as honey. There are a lot of food vendors so you can easily grab breakfast and/or lunch here. My favorite is the pig truck but I have not had all of the food yet! You can also buy some pretty unique gifts like crochet hats and wooden puzzles, as well as blown glass and carved wood art. A couple of tips that I learned the hard way: - bring a good, sturdy bag. This stuff is heavy and it's bulky (think carrots with carrot tops, big bunches of leafy greens, maybe fresh eggs). And it's likely you'll end up buying more than you thought you would. - consider bringing a plastic container for berries (otherwise, they are very fragile and hard to carry) - buy your berries last! they make it really hard to browse the rest of the market (first-time mistake!) - bring cash and change (though there is an ATM inside the Pickering Farm building) - wear a hat if it's sunny! Last but not least: Costco is right across the street so you can easily kill two birds with one stone (not sure if it's okay to use this phrase in a farmers market review!). Have fun while the summer is here.

Yelp
Maybe it's the cookie guy.. or the fact I can buy a waist-high planter here... wine, yes friends they sell local wines.. and even hand made clothes for my babies.. the kettle corn. Do not get me started on the kettle corn. Oh and the macaroons.... I'll stop right there. I love this farmer's market and we tend to make it a family affair with picking up fresh produce, flowers and then having lunch. Recently, my 2 year old decided to dance to the local band playing. Love our Saturday morning ritual here...

Yelp
Super large Farmer's Market. Difficutly parking. Lots of great vendors to get lunch from. Prices a little on the high side (but not awful). Was really impressed with all the huge, gorgeous $5 bouquets of flowers.

Yelp
Every Saturday from April 14th - October 13th the Issaquah Farmer's Market is open, rain or rhine, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. (I did take that from their website and edit it, just to give credit where credit is due). And I was there this weekend. I really wish I would go there more often. Its a small farmer's market, but the only one I know about and the closest one, too. So, it makes it my farmer's market off choice. There were only two places to buy lunch (a BBQ joint and Thai noodles), but a hot dog hit the spot for my son and I. There are more craft booths than interest me, but the fresh produce is great. There are berries and apples and vegetables and more. There are several bakeries that bring bread here (there is an Eastern European one that has a poppy seed cake that my wife really likes) and locally produced honey. I picked up some fresh, dried pasta from Papardelle's which made a pretty nice dinner that evening. Unfortunately, my trip ended with out me not getting all the berries I wanted (I was planning on making them into ice cream) because my $22 only went so far. Bring lots of cash, although the pasta place did accept credit cards.

Yelp
I love this Farmer's Market because they always have fresh produce, delicious baked goods, and a beautiful selection of flowers. I don't have to travel to Pike Place Market and deal with the crowds. One of the vendors sells the best corn I have ever tried. They are the ones that wear the corn hats. My only gripe is the people that stand by the entrance and try to get you to sign petitions and listen to their politics. I'm just trying to enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning. It would be nice if they had a booth inside the market that way you didn't feel ambushed as you're walking in.

Yelp
I forgot to review this last year...I went probably every other weekend. They are opening this Saturday so it reminded me to review finally... April 10th - October 9th during 2010, every Saturday. This year is their 20th anniversary. I love: the bagels, the HUGE selection of seasonal produce, the yummy hot lunches, the amazing homemade ice cream, and the other fun knickknacks that are for sale there. It's at Pickering farm, across the street from Costco. It has it's own parking lot. Visit in the morning for the best selection!

Yelp
This farmer's market was a decent size... I didn't expect much because it was in Snoqualmie. There are a lot of crafts/artisan booths, many more than actual produce. There are a few food vendors: mini donuts, Molly Moon ice cream, crepes, Mexican, Thai noodles, sausage. Overall, it's not bad... quite good actually. But I'm spoiled from the large one at SF's ferry building...

Yelp
This is a great little farmer's market and we're always excited to see our favorites each year! There are some truly great vendors with outstanding produce at reasonable prices. The flowers they sell are also lovely and we've found the vendors to be overly generous. Unfortunately, like any place, there are some bad apples in the case of produce. I would recommend buyers watch the scales and be sure they are easily readable, as some vendors will over-charge you when they can get away with it. This has happened to us twice over this year and I won't name names but if it happens more frequently, I definitely will. On a better note, there is a new parking structure nearby specifically for this market, which makes it far more accessible. Previous to this, we were having to walk at least 3 blocks to get to the market and it was still worth it! I do want to say that my favorite vendor has got to be Pinckney Cookie's. They are the best cookies I have ever had! I was disappointed a few months ago, finding out I'm gluten intolerant. So when I saw that Pickney even has wheat-free options, I was overjoyed. I swear his wheat-free chocolate chips taste better than the originals. Yum!

Yelp
2013 is a much better year for the old Issauqah Farmers Market at Pickering barn. There are significantly more vegetable and fruit farmers represented here than last year (hence the updated review). Parking is worse this year as Costco is constructing something in a former lot behind the barn. Traffic is as bad as usual, too. I'm just happy there are more farmers instead of more useless fluff.

Yelp
We've gone a couple of times now and really like the size and feel. The vendors seem to get along with each other well and it makes it feel like a nice place to be. Many kinds of vendors--crafts, veggies, fruits, meat, cheese, sweets ... and then you have lots of food you can buy--crepes, tacos, mini donuts, Molly Moon ice cream and more! Be mindful that the stands have to clean up by a certain time, so the food places have to stop taking orders early. I was the last person to get a crepe and there were many sad faces who arrived after me. You can get some good deals here, and there was a lot of good looking produce. Definitely nice, and I love how close it is to places I regularly visit on weekends anyway!

Yelp
It LOOKED so fun, but I was really disappointed at the no dogs allowed sign. The market is right by a park and there were a lot of dogs around. Our kind wasn't welcome there... :(

Yelp
The Issaquah Farmer's market is large, has good hours, and runs for a good part of the year. They do actually have some farmer's stands there: Full Circle makes an appearance, as do a few other organic farms. They usually have music and events going on, making it a very lively scene in the summer months. Unfortunately, they have no standards when it comes to locally produced goods. How is "gourmet" pasta made in Colorado considered an appropriate thing to sell at a farmer's market? Why, oh why, should I even tolerate people hawking Pampered Chef products at a FARMERS market? Not cool, Issaquah, not cool.

Yelp
I went for the first time today and have to admit, I spent a bit of cash. If you have a chance, try the Cupcake Luv booth. They are spendy....$3 and $5...but the dark chocolate with peanut butter filling....amazing. The Hula....really yummy with pineapple filling. Definitely worth the price for a rare treat. Beats Cupcake Royale and Trophy, anyday! I also loved the large selection of flowers....a la Pike Place. Fun arts and crafts vendors inside the barn, lots of places to eat and a great variety of fruits, veggies and breads. All around great way to spend a weekend morning.

Yelp
The hubby and I have gone here a few times, and we like it well. I have gotten pretty good deals with their produce, and I am not a uppity shopper by any means. If they can beat a lot of the Asian grocers that I frequent, and their quality is a lot better, heck yes I am going to buy. I also like their baked goods vendor, and the pasta booth, though I can get the pasta down in Pike Place too. The hubs and I like the Mexican food stall, the huaraches and tortas are pretty good. It does get a bit crowded. Lots of strollers and wagons, but that is part of the fun right? Parking is not bad at all, and we have always gotten good parking even during peak hours.

Yelp
I am so done with the Issaquah Farmer's Market. It's great if you want to push your toddlers through the dense crowd with your designer stroller and listen to live music. Probably 60% of the booths are arts & crafts, and the produce selection has dwindled the past couple of years. But this is truly the place to go if you want to overpay for organic arugula and a couple bouquets of nasturtiums, or buy a paper plate of average quality thai noodles at sit-down-restaurant prices. Oh, and there's kettle corn.

Yelp
This is a pretty big farmer's market: seems like everyone in Issaquah is either here or at the Costco across the street on a Saturday afternoon. There are a lot of options for fresh flowers, fruits and vegetables, with enough food stands to go around. There are plenty of food options, as well as an entertainment area. In addition, there's plenty of free parking right next to the market in the Costco employee parking garage.

Yelp
Located by the Issaquah Costco, but don't park at Costco, there's lots of free market parking next to Costco. We had fun sampling the fresh fruit, veggies, and all vendors are friendly and prices are great. The place to get fresh flowers, the blossoms are giant and prices are excellent. Bring a shopping bag, and enjoy the day!

Yelp
Lots of produce, flowers, food and Master Gardeners for free lawn and garden consultations. I love this farmers market!
