The food at Ita Bistro was overall excellent. Most of the dishes were beautifully executed and full of flavor, and the wine selection was fantastic. clearly well curated and thoughtfully paired with the menu.
The only dish that didn’t quite meet the same standard was the tortellini, which felt a bit underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Also the bread was not fresh.
What really affected the experience, however, was the front of house. When you’re spending close to €200 per person, you expect not only great food and wine but also a sense of hospitality. Unfortunately, the service felt very cold and distant. There was little to no warmth or welcoming energy. which made the atmosphere feel somewhat uninviting despite the quality coming out of the kitchen. Train your staff to give good service. Its 90% of the experience.
