We came for a coffee and after seeing the other tables food we ended up having lunch. My fish sope al pastor was so delightful, really light which matched the fresh sope. My husband's horchata coffee was outstanding, the perfect iced coffee. The restaurant is small, and we were fine to walk in but i assume it could get busy.

On the last day of our stay, we walked by many places and nothing caught our attention until we walked by Itacate del Mar. The staff presence is impeccable and makes you want to eat there, the restaurant is very modern yet down to earth and sophisticated. Decorated with beautiful plants and little details that go a long way. Our server was very attentive and guided us through the menu. Gotta say the aguachiles were amazing bit we thought the Fish tacos al pastor were our top favorite. Also ordered guacamole and fish tostadas which were incredible. Fresh, traditional with the right touches of modern in there without altering those true flavors. Hands down one of my faves.

We were told to go here by a friend. We fit in both breakfast (10a) and lunch (2:30p). When getting something as basic as chilaquiles and huevos rancheros, you expect a decent meal, but nothing fancy. Itacate Del Mar blew basic out of the water. Our meals were so flavorful and filling. We just had to come back for lunch for a Tuna toastada and sope.

I stop by almost every time I’m at the centro area, sometimes just for coffee others, for food. The Gordita de chicharrón con pescado blew my mind, delicious! The ingredients are high quality but the portions are very small.

Our last day in Mexico City and we run into this gem 💎 from beginning to end this place was thoroughly enjoyable. The modern, sophisticated ambiance is a perfect platform to enjoy the eating experience. They knocked it out of the park with all our food and I especially enjoyed my best version of huevos rancheros 😋😃🍳

Super tasty food, small portions, but we loved everything we had for brunch after walking around the zocalo, will be back! The chilaquiles with shrimp were fantastic (the shrimp were a huge hit, would go back just for that!), French toast super tasty, and my huevos were delicious and unique (forget which one I ordered).

Excellent drinks. Lovely presentation too. The portions were the size of small tapas. A nice place to seat down and people watch in the Zocalo area.

My favourite restaurant in Mexico City. Small, clean, with a jazz atmosphere. Fabulous location behind the cathedral and 2 minutes walk from Zocola, the town centre. Such a vibrant area. The menu is quite small, simply because it is all cooked fresh, to order. The staff are extremely friendly too and a lot of them speak English which is fun. Have eaten here 3 days in a row as I adore everything about it !! Thanks !
