Italia Express Cedar Springs

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant. They have all the pizzas displayed and they reheat the slices in their brick oven, making it tastes fresh. The crust and sauce is absolutely phenomenal! Great crunch on the bottom and served on metal plates. They have 2 sizes for the salads and I was recommended the small size since I got so many slices. The atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet, they have TVs playing different channels so there's something for everyone. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and patient as heck! I highly recommend this place to everyone. They have a larger menu with more than just pizza and salad.

I tend to avoid restaurants with "Express" in their name. I'm so glad we didn't skip this place. It was great! The portions are huge and the cost is surprisingly low. See photo of the side salad that cost $5, loaded with tomatoes, artichoke, peppers etc. So good. The pizza was really good! Great sauce, great cheese. The dough is a little on the salty side (after-taste) but overall really good! The cheesecake, chocolate cake and canoli were great too. We went in around 5:45 on a Sunday night and had no trouble getting a table. Kid -friendly. Not in the traditional sense, but in the sense that matters more (IMO): the staff offered to cut up slices into smaller pieces for the kids, were cautious to express how hot the pizza was coming right out of the oven, and brought dough balls over for the kids to play with just out of the blue. A really great spot, highly recommend!

They make everything fresh from scratch pizza slices are the perfect size, they keep it very clean. The chicken alfredo pizza is the best to get

so I usually go in here and always have a pretty decent experience. My normal time is at night but today I decided to come in early and grab some lunch all going well. Great service At the front register and pretty friendly like normal. I got my food to taste was great but as I was finishing a portion of my food, I found a long strand of hair that had been fried into my calamari. when I noticed this, the young man from the cash register was cleaning off a table and I immediately told him and he told me right away that he would fix it. I said OK And sat down and continued my conversation on the phone and finished the rest of my food that was still amazing by the way. The other person from the side where I believe they were cooking, came over and said to me there was only a small portion of it left so I can only Make a small portion To correct our error. The young man, I feel wasn’t intentionally trying to be rude, but I also do not feel like he understood how extremely rude he was to a extremely calm customer who just found a long strand of hair that had been fried into his calamari. at first out of frustration, I asked for my money back for the calamari, but instead I chose to just take the rest of my food that was still good and chuck it up to a bad experience. whoever actually runs this place because the young man said that this was a family owned business. Please make sure that your employees know how to rectify situations like this. I understand with small family businesses maybe making another batch of fried calamari a full batch would have been a stretch, but, understand that you made the mistakes so you have to eat that mistake. Thank you for all the times that was great, but this will definitely be my last time coming.

This is one of my favorite pizza spots! It's perfect anytime, but even better after a night out at the nearby bars. The food: Delicious!! They have a lot more than just pizza, so make sure to check out their menu. I've been completely satisfied with everything that I've tried here. Don't forget about dessert! They have some delicious cake slices. The service & vibes: Very welcoming. The staff is always happy and ready to serve you as soon as you walk in. Smiles all around. Very relaxed environment. The staff is very attentive and keeps the dining tables clean and ready for the next person to enjoy their meal.

I can’t say enough great things about the place. My first thought was hesitant because I’m not a fan of heat n eat slices. This place changed the game! It is homemade authentic goodness made from scratch daily baby!!! Plus the family is super sweet, just good people. Don’t miss out on this place. Ohhhhh also the Philly Cheesesteak is to die for!!! Even the desserts r bomb!

I absolutely love this place, been coming for years - but haven't been in a while unfortunately and suddenly "bottled water only" / no water cups. Idk, just kind of a big let down and turn off. To the owner - this place is amazing, but this is ridiculous and a turn off. Get even cheap small clear plastic cups, please. That way, it doesn't hurt margins and also doesn't upset people who are thirsty and want a few sips of water with their pizza...

I have always loved this place. The pizza is good, their salads are good, but my all time favorite is the chicken parm. It comes with spaghetti and garlic knots. Best ever!

Omg!!! I can't believe I never bump into Italia Express. I was driving around in the area and decided to pull up my favorite app because the stomach was calling for help. I saw great reviews and pictures looks great, let's stop! As I walked in the menu looks like they have varieties from salads, pizza & pasta. Pizzas are already made so you just choose your slice and they're put it back into the oven and serve it to you. I placed a salad and pasta order at the counter and sat down. Price point very reasonable and portion was a good amount. Service was excellent, they're very helpful and friendly. Clam pasta... Excellent!!! Full of flavors and lots of clams. The sauce was rich, garlicky, and filled with flavor. The garlic bread that came with the pasta was yummy. I definitely booked mark this place

You can come in any night and expect great service by a bunch of sweet guys! Never shy to offer their favorite dishes and recommendations! The brick oven baked pizza is delicious and their lobster ravioli is gold! Come in solo and join the lunch table, make some friends, or mind your own business. No pressure. Just vibes.

I loved the location, which is perfect for people-watching while enjoying the delicious food. The restaurant, including the patio seating, is exceptionally clean. The employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming, cheerfully answering all our questions. Based on the excellent customer service, I knew the food would be outstanding, and it certainly was. We ordered two single pizzas with extra toppings, a side salad, and buffalo wings, and everything was delicious, satisfying my pizza craving perfectly. I will definitely be returning.

I have been to this location many a times after leaving bars and clubs on the strip, so I dare say my knowledge is TOP TIER on this location. Tonight specifically was a phenomenal experience, I would sit outside all night at this location instead of going to any of the bars or clubs on the strip purely because of the playlist. Yes the pizza is impeccable and the man who works the cash register is FINE AS HELL and deserves the world, but the playlist is ABOVE ALL ELSE. To put it into perspective we heard Alejandro, Fireflies, Replay, and Fire Burning in one sitting and I don't think it gets much better than that. All in all, please come here. See the amazing workers have the wonderful pizza but above all else get lit to the playlist while you're drunk off your a** with your friends.

This place is amazing. From incredible service as soon as you walk in, to a variety of pizza, pasta and other food choices. I love this place. Everyone is so nice and helpful. I've been during slower times and very busy times and always great! They are open late on the weekend so a great spot for a slice after a night out in Dallas.

I stopped by the other night after work, I was looking at the menu and the guys working were so nice and helpful! I asked for a meatless lasagna and the guy recommended a different dish. It was still hot when I made it home down the street. I can't believe I have lived here all this time without stopping by, I will be back again!

I love everything about this place! Everyone is super friendly, it's family owned n operated and it's DELICIOUS!!! I love their pizza but honestly I usually get the Philly Cheesesteak! It just got better too because now they have fries!

I don't know if this is a permanent deal or if it's just on certain days of the week, but if you buy two slices of pizza during lunchtime, you get a free drink. In terms of pizza, think of the same quality of pizza you'd find in a mall food court- many different styles all sitting under a heat lamp. However, the differentiator is that the slices get reheated in a stone oven, so the crust is crispy and hot on the bottom. Therefore, I'm rating the restaurant 3 stars rather than the 2 stars I'd normally give a mall food court pizza joint.

Really great pizza and they are playing about being "express". No matter how long the line is, don't be discouraged because they keep it moving. The garlic knots are the best I've ever had. Slightly crispy on the outside and warm and fluffy on the inside. Great dunked in their marinara. Alfredo pizza is creamy and garlic-y. I love a white pizza. Pepperoni is classic and love the thin crispy crust. I feel guilty for eating pizza this good at a relatively low price. And they open to at least 2am if not later. Always a good time and consistently good food and service no matter what you time you go. Special shout-out to the guys that work there- super sweet and always 5 star service.

Absolutely fantastic. It is Christmas Eve and I was delighted to see this place was open. I just picked up my order and I have not ordered from here before but I have driven by dozens of times. I can't EXPRESS enough how pleased I am with the service and my order. The super sweet young man, that looks very Italian, at the cashier was friendly, welcoming and professional. He even offered to help me as I had a heavy pizza to carry, which was such a kind gesture and much appreciated. The pizza was outstanding, exactly as I had requested and the spaghetti Marina was perfection. I am originally from Europe so I've been to Italian restaurants in Italy and I lived in Chicago and visited family in NYC, having tried numerous fine Italian pizzas and pastas, and can say this place is really good! I will definitely order again. Thank you!!!!

Greater by a true Italian! Was craving a "new style pizza" which i hard to find in Dallas. Being from Jersey something that i do miss a lot living in Texas. The slices HIT THE SPOT. The service was amazing and i felt back at home! It

As always food is delicious, fast service, obviously you wait for your food to be heated properly, we have tried pizzas and lasagna, everything delicious. Relax environment, nothing fancy, just enough to enjoy your food and continue sightseeing

Pricing is a little odd with "all prices include sales tax" and then you go and pay and it's "price on the board plus taxes". I do t like having to go on a scavenger hunt to get the true price so that really irked me. But the food is good.

Great place to grab a quick slice, calzone, or Stromboli. You go through the line pick out what you want and just wait for them to warm it up for you. I had the pepperoni and sausage calzone and it was delicious. Next time I gotta try a slice of the pizza.

This place is great! It's cheap, they have good music for the gayborhood, and it's a great place to go to talk to people. The food is also very good and the people who work here are nice.

This restaurant is really good huge pizza and great friendly service! Tonight we went to pick up an order and when we got home 1 of our entrees were incorrect. We called and they immediately said they would send out a driver with the correct entree and he was here in 30 minutes. BEST SERVICE EVER!!!!

The pizza has been sitting out until you order. Then they simply put cold and old pizza in a pizza oven, reheat and give to you. I was going to order a whole pizza but only ordered a single slice. So glad I did. This was old, cold pizza at inflationary prices.

This is an ultimate hole in the wall family Italian restaurant. Run by family, very nice people! I came here with my boss during market as they always come and know the people who run it and highly recommended. I love all things pizza and pasta so this is my jam! All of the food was incredibly delicious and great portions! Left very very full! Make sure to stop by here, best place for homey/cozy food.

The food was amazing! We were there for a soccer tournament and found this place. picked up food to go for 2 parents and 2 kids. The next day the team was craving good pizza... I went back the next day and ordered a bunch of pizza and pasta. It's always scarry ordering for a large group, but everyone loved the food!! Thank you!

Was so amazed especially for the price! My boyfriend got the Alfredo and I almost wanted to switch him. I have my favorite spots for when I want Alfredo and this beat most of them

Looking back at these pictures makes my mouth water! My husband and I loveee making late night date trips to Italia Express. The service is 10/10, all the gentlemen are super friendly and catering. Every single thing we've tried is stupendous! Stromboli, stuffed pizzas, chicken parm, meatball subs, baked ziti, calzones, pizza... everything has been a hit. No misses.

I severely underestimated the quality of Italia Express. Food is fresh and the prices are so affordable. A perfect place to grub for a quick bite. Service is incredible and the ambiance is warm. Only negative is lack of parking next to the restaurant.

Get place to have a late nite bite and they are open till 4am on the weekends and sometimes 3am daily. The selection is great they can make a pizza to go or have pre cooked reheatable slices. Salads and other selections you're sure to find something. The staff are so friendly and will do what it takes to make you happy GREAT SERVICE ... clean and well kept.

Tried this place using the Too Good To Go app and got cheated. No 2nd visit for me. Got a lot less food for the value advertised.

The fact that this is within walking distance from me is dangerous--they're efficient, open late and super satisfying. It's definitely the best Italian at this price point and portions are generous. The spinach calzone was great, and the mozzarella sticks are huge. My go-to lately has been a chicken fettucine alfredo, which always hits the spot and comes with fluffy garlic rolls for dipping in sauce. The staff are really friendly too.

Reliable and reasonably priced late-night Italian spot in the heart Oak Lawn night life. Perfect place for those staying up late, hungry from partying, or getting off work. I appreciate this restaurant's willingness to serve delicious, hot, and EXPRESS food to hungry customers in the wee hours of the morning. This place always seems busy but not too busy that it impacts efficiency. I've always gotten my in-house/to-go orders within 15-20min. If you only order pizza, the service is even faster (5min). The staff is friendly and willing to customize my orders (like the time I asked to change the type of pasta in my primavera). There's a also variety of pizzas up for grabs, and the cakes are quite moist (carrot cake, yum). My go-to order includes pasta primavera (substituted with angel hair and chicken), calamari (could be slightly more salted), a pizza (customized, supreme, and/or chicken and bacon), and carrot cake. I think some people don't love that the pizza is sitting outside (maybe not for long because this place is so popular?), but it still does the job. The pasta also might not be homemade, but it's great for late-night! Ambiance - simple and functional with many chairs and tables (for all the people that need this for a night out on the town). Service - friendly, efficient. There's one staff member (who's really nice and well-meaning) but often calls me "love" which makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. I think it's mainly the word choice but not trying to cancel anyone here! Parking - limited to the street parking or the nearby lot behind Hunky's burgers. I've never really had an issue running in to pick up my order. If you're already out drinking and need something to help soak up that alcohol (aka not driving) then this is a perfect place.

Coming from NYC and NJ the struggle has been real.. until today.. I finally found REALLY good Italian in Dallas . Check this spot out!

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and how amazing the service was. Very casual and not fancy, but quick counter service from incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. My side salad was ginormous -lots of veggies and very fresh spring mix. Pizza was excellent - very high quality, generous toppings and great crust. And, incredible value! Slice, salad, and drink for a great price, especially considering today's higher costs. Will definitely be going back!

Visited today after going to the zoo. We walked in and was immediately greeted. The young man ringing us out was helpful. We had the stromboli, salad, and 2 slices. They customized my son's pizza. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is that the dough in the stromboli was not crispy as it coulld have been. I would try it t again. Nice area!

I was still craving Italian food when I stumbled upon this Italian place on the corner of Throckmorton and Cedar Springs. It may not look so glamorous outside, but if you are hungry, you'll be full and satisfied after coming here. The employees at Italia Express were extremely friendly and courteous. I had initially ordered the angel hair with shrimp, but the guy had warned me about the sauce that it comes with. I prefer a red sauce, so they suggested that I go with a meat sauce instead. To start my meal, it came with some bread and I assume marinara sauce. I think that it a good way to start off my meal. Shortly thereafter, my customized pasta dish came out with the meat sauce. It was really good and really filling too. I'd definitely come back here again. Instead of having pasta, I'd probably venture into trying their pizzas.

I love this place! It has really good pasta, never tried their pizza but the prices I'll get it next time. The service has always been really good, it's why I keep coming back on top of the delicious food. Their pasta is always piping hot when I get it and comes with bread!!! I usually order 2 pastas for 2 days for myself and even after I microwave the pasta after a day, it's still good.

This place was surprisingly good. The sandwich was good as well as the pizza slices. I would come back here again if I wanted a quick bite or just craving a slice of pizza. They also have a variety of pizzas too so you have alot of options to choose from.

There is joy in eating late, especially when time seems to run from you. I'm thankful for Italia Express's hours. Every time I come to Dallas, I try to go here. The pizza is good with huge slices. But the best thing is the pasta. The bowls are huge! The rolls are delicious too. I also love that taxes are included in the prices, so everything is even. The service is great; everyone was so kind to me. I'll be back!

I came in for chicken Alfredo and it was done fast. It came with two rolls of bread. No complaint. Food was delicious. A little too heavy on the heavy cream but taste good. The people are super nice

The food was incredible, absolutely delicious and perfectly filling. The service was great, everyone who works there was very attentive and kind to us while we were there. The prices were extremely reasonable and the place was clean, well lit and in a great location! My only gripe, and it's really just a personal preference, I like my garlic knots tossed in a garlic butter sauce and nice and greasy, these were delicious and flaky bread but not as buttery as I like mine. Regardless, the food was incredible. Honestly if you want a low fuss, delicious meal - hit them up! I definitely plan to be a repeat customer!
