Google
I had an amazing experience at Italica. The beef lasagna was absolutely outstanding — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Easily a 10 out of 10. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and take pride in their recipes. The service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both great food and excellent hospitality. If you’re looking for authentic Italian comfort food in a warm and inviting atmosphere, Italica is definitely worth a visit.

Google
I was at Italica in Midtown for their new brunch experience and while it is not the best quality food you could have, I can say it’s a great deal for the price, $29.99 excluding beverages. I like the food was fresh, specially the fruits, I enjoyed them. Overall, there was a good selection to choose from. My favorite was the Greek yogurt with all the toppings as well as the fresh fruit assortment. The cocktails, Summer at the Corner, were perfectly crafted. They were some sort of spicy watermelon margaritas with tequila and mezcal, just perfect. Service was friendly but the male host has not the best customer service skills, perhaps it is the language barrier. The ambiance is beautiful, peachy/orange shades, with indoors and outdoors seating. Summarizing, I would come back.

Google
We had a fantastic brunch at Italica! The menu offered a wide variety of options, from perfectly cooked steak to delicious desserts. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, making it easy to find something for everyone. The ambiance was lively yet comfortable, and the service was attentive. Definitely a great spot for a satisfying and diverse brunch experience!

Google
This was an incredible experience! The diverse menu and exceptional quality of the food were truly impressive. As we waited for our table, the door host greeted us with a refreshing mimosa. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the ambiance was elegant, modern, and complemented by great summer background music. Price is fair for the quality delivered. Will be coming again with friends and family members.

Google
Nice and cozy place to have a delicious brunch. Food was great, the staff/servers were very friendly. The environment/ambiance is really cool. It's an enjoyable food experience, their brunch menu was beyond my expectations (the salmon & pasta were my favorite for sure, recommended 100%)

Google
Really nice Italian restaurant. Great food. Excellent staff. People were very friendly and attentive. We went for lunch here and the prices on the lunch menu were excellent. Had a great dining experience. I would definitely eat here again - maybe dinner next time. Lots of good looking drinks and food on the menu - excited to try something else here.

Today I had an amazing brunch at the restaurant. From delicious food and variety of options to excellent service- everything was absolutely outstanding! Would definitely recommend and will be back soon ! Thank you

Yelp
This restaurant has always caught my eye due to the beautiful yet simple decor of their bar, being on display from the outside. The many bottles of Aperol are not only inviting, but also make for a lovely and inviting visual. I walked in on an early Monday afternoon and there weren't many patrons in the restaurant so I had the choice of whatever seating I wanted. I chose a high top in the bar area. It happened to be happy hour time so I went ahead and ordered a Malbec off that menu instead of an Aperol spritz, and it almost felt sacrilegious to do so being surrounded by all those beautiful orange bottles of Aperol. However, it was a more fitting choice due it being the only chilly night in Miami. My friend and I decided to order two appetizers (shrimp and the arancini) off the happy hour menu and the Margherita pizza. The pizza was delicious, loved the sauce! Probably one of the best pizza's I've had in Miami. And the dessert was divine!!! We ordered the tiramisu...it comes deconstructed and the waitstaff basically prepared it for us as she served it. And although that absolutely adds to the experience the dish itself was spectacular, light and not overwhelming with sweetness.

Yelp
Italica is so cute! Came here for early 5pm dinner with the girls and we were loving the vibe. They have happy hour drink menu but no happy hour food. But food was fantastic anyway! The bombette is known as pizza chips which were baked crunchy outside and fluffy inside with impeccable pistachio pesto. I can be addicted to this Truffle gnocchi, never had fried gnocchi and my first experience exceeded expectations! I love this crisp chewy texture. Also wanted to eat every bit of this sauce! La Estrella pizza is stuffed with ricotta cheese in triangle crust pockets that create a star shaped pizza. So good for sharing all three dishes between us!

Yelp
We came here after seeing such a limited menu at the Peruvian across the street. We need options. This restaurant had options and the Branzino was outstanding. The waiter recommended it. The steak on the other hand was nothing special.
google avatar

Selina Q.

Yelp
Greeting and service was friendly and knowledgeable. We tried four dishes on the menu and we're extremely satisfied. A refreshing change from Miami food that is sometimes hit or miss.

Astrid P.

Yelp
This place is always empty, but the food is pretty good. Cocktails are nice. Caesar salad is missing anchovies. The last time I was there, an egret was hanging out outside the window. Just poking around on the sidewalk. Casual-like. If a dog passed, he quickly hide, but then come back out and just chill.
google avatar

Katie F.

Yelp
Italica has a great happy hour everyday from 4-7! Went for drinks and apps with friends and we had a great time, the restaurant is beautiful! However, the restaurant is very hot, the air conditioning does not seem to work. Also the service is not the best, a bit slow and not always the friendliest, but overall will be back again for happy hour.
google avatar

Nancy A.

Yelp
Gnocchi lovers rejoice! The all-you-can-eat gnocchi day is a game-changer. The variety of gnocchi dishes offered was impressive - from classic potato gnocchi to creative twists with different sauces. Each bite was a burst of flavors, and the fact that you can try them all without breaking the bank is a win-win. We tried - Pomodoro, Pink, Mushroom, Red, and Ragu Sauces - all were great, my favorite were the Pink and Mushrooms. While the wine list was extensive and featured some excellent Italian choices, a few more options for non-alcoholic drinks would have been appreciated.
google avatar

Michelle J.

Yelp
I was most disappointed in this meal. It felt sad and looked sad. We ordered a pizza as well and it was just blah. It felt like a gimmicky tourist trap. The watermelon salad wasn't bright and vibrant. The fried fish platter was rubbery and not well prepared.
google avatar

Yelp
I hadn't been to Italica in a while so I stopped in for dinner/happy hour and it did not disappoint. I love sitting outside to catch a breeze and people watch but I opted for the bar today. The bar tender was so sweet and suggested menu items that I hadn't tried. I opted for the crab ravioli and let me tell you that I can't wait to go back and have it again! It was sooooo good. If you're looking for a nice ambiance, good food, friendly service and nice vibes with an Italian twist. Absolutely stop in when in midtown Miami.

Dominique A.

Yelp
Everyone had great energy, awesome service and attention to detail. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming and their new menu was fantastic! Definitely try out the new pastas! To die for

Yelp
You know the drill, when I'm hungry and not creative.. I've had Italica on my bookmarks for awhile and had the chance to try them the other night via UberEats. After a full day of errands and such , I was pretty hungry so I ordered a full 3 course meal. My appetizer was their creative take on burrata salad cheese with with fennel (instead of the classic tomatoes), black olives powder and honey. I didn't taste too much of the honey but it was still satisfying. The lasagna that was my main course could have been the only course, as it took up almost the entire to go box. The noodles were a little past al dente, but still had a good texture. The blend of melted parmesan and the rich blend of beef bolognese and hearty marinara sauce made it among one of my favorites. Although a full size pie (yeah leftovers & sharing with a neighbor), their dessert pizza with Nutella, creamy and cool ricotta, berries and a sprinkle of cocoa powder made a sweet closing that paired well with a Moscato bottle I had home.

Yelp
My family was visiting from out of town and were craving Italian, especially since it was my little cousins birthday. The server did his job, he wasn't super talkative and seemed like he was just trying to get our party in and out. We had pizzas which were good and I had the crab ravioli. The ravioli was pretty good but the sauce was a little too oily. We brought a birthday cake for my baby cousin from Publix. We even offered the server a slice which he accepted. At the end of the visit, we found out there was a $25 cake fee which the staff failed to let us know, even after we offered a slice for our server! It felt deceptive and left a bad tastes in all our mouths... for the food and service we received it was really okay.

Yelp
Beautiful weather & quaint spot for a Sunday lunch during Art Basel. The service was pretty decent and the food was great! We shared the mussels (needed more sauce), melanzane (roasted eggplant) & branzino with broccolini & fingerling potatoes. Cocktails were pretty subpar - we both had the Summer at the Corner - one with mezcal and the other without. It tasted confused. I'd give it a 3.5 but I opted for 4 because if they fixed the cocktails it would be perfect. Overall it's a nice place if you're looking for Italian with more of a casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Jaquie M.

Yelp
Nice spot for a quick drink with a friend before dinner. Our sauvignon blancs were delish. We didn't have dinner here but the burrata looked good.
google avatar

Christina T.

Yelp
Located in the heart of midtown this Italian restaurant is perfect for casual dining, dressing up and date night, big groups, small groups, or just lounging outside while munching on some burrata and sipping wine. The burrata was delicious. The additional crunch incorporated along with the pesto is excellent. We asked for our prosciutto on the side but it is usually all on one plate. The ravioli is a must try and in addition to being full of flavor, it's the perfect serving size.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite places to come to just sit and read. The service is always pleasant. They are super knowledgeable and offer suggestions when prompted. The menu is a very approachable Italian/ Mediterranean vibe. Lots of shareable plates. The service isn't super fast but that is okay for me since I usually come to sit and sip. Happy hour is every day! And the bites are just as good as actual entrees. They have a mezcal spritz that is to die for
google avatar

Yelp
Interesting restaurant. If you keep to the pizza menu it's a solid 4 stars. But the cocktail menu is doing too much. One of the signature drinks had yogurt in it. Service for the most part was friendly and attentive to our table. Very chill ambiance not too loud. Don't rush for the happy hour. Not worth it. Definitely good place to go for a change in pace.
google avatar

Yelp
I came by for happy hour this evening. I saw the restaurant last weekend and it looked like a cute place. After waiting for a little bit the host sat us in high tops by the bar. We ordered two aperol's and two pizzette margherias. Our server was nice but not the most attentive. The music was loud and fun. Sounded like an Italian disco playlist. The aperols were pretty good lacking a little in aperol and heavy on the ice, but overall not a bad drink. The pizza was also pretty tasty, It was a little thicker than your usual margherita but a good size and lots of cheese. Each item was $8 which is a good deal for happy hour. It's a fun spot for some drinks and bites!

Yelp
Easily the BEST crossaint egg sandwich I have ever had!!!! The eggs were whipped and creamy packed with a hefty serving of smashed avocado. The coffee was amazing and not watered down, genuinely felt like I was being caffeinated with each sip. My friend LOVED his açaí bowl as it was unique puréed with banana. Overall, great experience and so affordable.

Yelp
Since I heard Italica was going to open Ive been so excited to check it out! I am obsessed with italian food and loved the restaurant's concept. I got there staurday night around 8pm with no reservation and was seated right away. The decor is beautiful, modern and the bar is full of Aperol! There was a DJ playing so ambiance was also great. Our waiter was sweet and attentive which I appreciated. We ordered a beer, the classic Aperol and the Prosciutto and Stracciatella pizza. My Aperol was refreshing as it should be and the pizza was very very delicious with fresh ingredients. Love the place and the experience. Will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Great spot on a Friday evening and with availability to accommodate 2 people. The vibe and atmosphere were really great. The service was good, our waitress was attentive when we needed to order. The wine I ordered paired well with my lasagna bolognese; the portion was petite and the flavors were good. Love the view of the bar!

Pablo D.

Yelp
Tiny pizzas worth 20 each. It costs more than 100 per person to get somewhat satisfied with pizza. Not recommended.
google avatar

Vancy S.

Yelp
We went on a perfect night it was spritz night. All spritz $5. We had the Fruttato spritz, delicious. I loved the carciofi, grilled artichokes heart with parsley aioli. The carpaccio di salmone was delicious. The magherita pizza was ok. The bread was soft with a crispy crust. This is a good place for a laid back ambiance, cute, and great spritz and bites. Our service was good, our waiter was attentive.
google avatar

Justine A.

Yelp
Can for lunch and the food was great. We had the pasta and steak. The service was fast and ambiance was lovely.
google avatar

Yelp
Went last night and it was pretty busy for a Monday night! The vibes were nice and the service was top notch. We got the Arancini from the happy hour menu, the lasagna bolognese and the pizza Tartufata with olives! On Monday nights, pizzas are 10$ for the classics and 15$ for the specials so it was great to be able to enjoy that deal.

Katie S.

Yelp
Food is good, but has to be some of most inattentive service I have ever seen. The hostess has to help out because of the absence of the servers. If you come here for brunch, don't expect any drink refills or water refills unless you want to go inside to seek out your waiter. I have been here many times, each time expecting better service, but always leave disappointed. On the bright side you can tip what you feel they deserve since they are one of the only spots in Miami that don't have included gratuity.
google avatar

Lilly G.

Yelp
I want to make this review entirely about the ravioli because WOW AMAZING!! But the other things we got were also delicious. The appetizers all were incredible. The prosciutto was fresh, the sauces were complimentary to it and really tasted great. Now the ravioli... woah. If you like spinach and seasonal veggies get the ravioli but ask for Alfredo instead of marinara... so delicious. The creaminess really brings out the flavorful combo of the spinach, carrot and onion in the dish. Truly incredible.
google avatar

Yelp
I am a repeat offender. I came back another time separately and ordered a classic Marg pizza with pepperoni. Might I say, no gluten intolerance can stop me from getting this on my cheat days. It was amazingly fresh, perfect pizza. I am Italian and I was born/ raised in NYC . Get the pizza here. This is an order. Beautiful spot and great service thank you Sebastian !
google avatar

Jazmin R.

Yelp
What a fun place! I visited recently for Happy Hour and loved it, they have bites and wide selection of drink specials. Pizza is regular price during HH, we ordered two kinds, i don't recall the names, but check out the pictures! Our server Agustin was so friendly and had nice recommendations. Plus- dog friendly
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Your cacio a pepe risotto was so bland and didn't even taste like cheese - I was quite surprised. My silverware was broken. No small plates distributed for shared appetizers. No one came by to check on us to see if we needed anything. the salmon was good though. I don't think I'd come back.
google avatar

Glenn A.

Yelp
Was looking for something a lil different from the Latin American cuisine while in Miami and came upon Italica. This place was amazing. Service was great from the hostess to the bartender. As a Ny/NJ resident I swore off pizza while down here so I went with the meatballs and gnocchi. Both dishes were phenomenal and also do try the satiating drink Giavanni meets Oaxaca! 10/10 recommend when in Midtown Miami and craving good Italian food!
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Lovely dinner today with friends. We came just in time for happy hour. I had this watermelon mezcal drink that was strong but delicious. The pizza was to die for and these mussels that were on the happy hour menu were drool worthy. The service was fast and accommodating to our difficult group. One of us is picky, the other has her newborn with her and I was strictly on happy hour time lol would definitely be back to try more dishes
google avatar

Jose R.

Yelp
Came to this location for a quick get together. Parking is a bit hard due to its location, however, there a few parking garage near by. Also Valet across. Service was prompt and professional. Ambiance was good for a Saturday mid-day. Food was were the downfall took place. Lasagna was undercooked and cold is some areas. Plates were simple and do not have a side dish unless you pay extra. Crab and shrimp ravioli was undercooked and a bit cold. Bread which was a side dish was a bit burn even the oil to dip in could have been more flavourful with romero or thyme. Not very impressed with the food..
google avatar

Holmes B.

Yelp
First off...outstanding service by waitstaff and manager on site who kindly came to our table to ask us if the music was to loud and when does that ever happen, here evidently. That's enough to give them a nice review. I met with friends here for HH which I have to be honest, needs some work. We tried 4 out of the 5 food items and really only one stood out enough to order again, the Arancini. We wanted to try the pies since after all pizza is one of their specialties and were not disappointed at all. We tried the Tartufata and the Mortadella E Carciofi and both equally delish for different reasons. You can't go wrong with mushrooms and black truffle on the Tartufata and the mortadella with pistachio and pesto on the Mortadella pie. Both made in an electronic brick like oven, I couldn't tell the difference between a real brick oven or this one here. The crust was just as good but the dough was perfectly cooked and the toppings were just incredibly delightful. My fiends went bananas over the cheesecake so much they ordered two so I guess it's a must try. The spritz are only $5 all day on Wednesday and they have at least 6 diferente options although my and my friend's gave was the IL Floreale made with Sake. As far as waitstaff, they were all most personable but Agustin was the best, most delightful waiter at all times. I'd say go for the $5 Spritz on Wednesday but opt for the regular menu unless they change the HH menu a little bit. Overall it was a wonderful evening with friends and delish food for the most part.
google avatar

Marie N.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour which is from 4-7. $8 drinks and bites. We ordered two cocktails which tasted okay probably wouldn't order again based on taste preferences. Meatballs came with 5 and had the margherita pizza. Overall good deals for happy hour and nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday yesterday with my family and had a good time. The venue is in the heart of midtown and they have everyday happy hour plus a DJ to start your night. It's definitely a good vibe to start your evening. For starters they provide a shot of their Giovanni meet Oaxaca for our table because waiter explained it was their golden hour and they provide it complimentary as well a small charcuterie board to share. We then ordered our meals and I had the Bucatini Vongonle Scampi which was delicious! The sauce is so fresh because it was homemade marinara and the pasta is perfectly cook with shrimp and clams. It was definitely a dish I would order again. My brother ordered the lasagna bolognese and loved his dish as well. Our waiter and other staff was very attentive and friendly. They made the night. However, I had to give less stars because there are still some things that need to be fine toned in order to make this location a five star experience. Our table was near the window and the lighting was definitely lacking even with the tea light. We had to use our phone light to see the menu properly. The DJ was playing great music but it was very loud so the waiter had a hard time hear us and vise versa. Then our dessert was not what we expected for Tiramisu because it was only whipped mascarpone and two small lady fingers not the sponge cake like described. So that left us disappointed but I would still comeback and try other entree's on the menu because the food is tasty and the service was great.
google avatar

Katherin R.

Yelp
Very disappointed! This new place opened up and I loved the vibe from the outside. I decided to yelp it to see the food and I gave it a try... Let me start by saying FALSE MARKETING what I thought was a full cauliflower at-least that's what it looked like from a photo posted by the restaurant instead I got small pieces of cauliflower marinated in butter ! Not to mention this was $23 dollars!!! Horrible
google avatar

Michael P.

Yelp
Waited 15 minutes and still had no water. Never knew if my water was coming. Got up and left. Zero stars
google avatar

Rose P.

Yelp
I visited Italica for their $5 spritz offer on Wednesday! This is a fantastic deal, the spritzes are usually $17 and the drink I had was a spritz with St. Germain and it was delicious. I also had the pepperoni and jalapeño pizza which was quite tasty. I'll definitely be back for more Wednesday spritzes!

Yelp
New restaurant in our area. Nice decor and ambience. The dishes were good but the pizza was mediocre, nothing special compared to other gourmet pizza in Miami. The one thing that bothered me was that I noticed that they allow dogs to sit on the chairs next to the tables where food is being served. This should not be allowed. Dogs walk on public sidewalks that are full of dog pee and poop (especially in Midtown), so placing a dog on a chair is equivalent to a person that stepped in dog pee and/or poop standing on a chair and then a client sitting on the same chair. Its not sanitary... disgusting!!! Whether or not you're at a restaurant or bar, no dogs or other live animals are permitted inside, with a couple of exceptions. For restaurants, this prohibition comes from the FDA's Food Code of 2017, as adopted in Florida. For restaurants, the list of exceptions includes aquarium fish and crustaceans, caged animals, service animals, and patrol dogs, not a standard pet/dog. Italica, dont allow this at your restaurant, Love dogs but its not sanitary for your customers.

Yelp
Fantastic new gem in midtown. During my weekly Trader Joe's visit, noticed the new opening. Friends and I went for a cocktail and happy hour options post TJs. The cocktails on the HH are not to be missed, and the standouts for food were the meatballs and fritto mixto option. We decided to try some main item menu items. All the dishes circulating looked delicious! We ordered the cacio y Pepe with truffle, divine. The lasagna has béchamel was the Star of the night. The gnocchi was tasty, but not a stand out. The HH food items also had a miss with the crostini. Friendly prompt service and great ambience. Venue was busy, and not too loud. Comfortable seating as well. I plan on returning to try the other pastas and mains. Hopeful service, food and drink quality remain the same, and to be a regular.

Yelp
The place looked beautiful and the food was delicious. I had the salad and even that was delicious. My friend had the steak and it was juicy and tender, it melted in your mouth. Another friend had the crab ravioli and we all shared the seafood platter for our app. It was all wonderful but breading on calamari was dream worthy. One of the most impressive things about the experience was Sebastian. He was lovely and seemed like he worked the whole place. It was a wonderful dinner for our last night in Miami.

Yelp
Low prices= low service!!! The worst service In town! Despite the best spritz! The servers are all young and naive, no service AT ALL !!!despite it only being 3 tables all around. Stood outside for about 3- 5 mins at the entrance for someone to approach me because the host was not present, they never did . Although they were all standing around inside LOOKING at me through the glass! Takes so long for drinks to arrive at the table and NEVER gave us water again and server came to the table after 30-40 mins .RUDE unapproachable and SUPER unaware staff! Also .... No music ..wtf.....

Yelp
the food here is horrible, do not come if you are looking for a good meal. i feel like i can cook this at home and it would come out even better. the food is not fresh and you can tell it was frozen when eating. the service was good, but the food was just so bad i was disappointed. the ambiance is ok. the only thing that was decent here was the aperol spritz, they got me pretty tipsy and tasted all right. if your looking for a drink that's pretty much all i would come back here for. i don't know if it's the chef or how they store the food, but something has to change. i also don't even think they served us rib eye, tasted nothing like it, was chewy and rubbery. place has lots of potential but they either need a new chef or learn how to cook with fresh ingredients.
google avatar

Ney S.

Yelp
Bad experience. Ambiance is average at best. Service is good, decent. Drinks are the same price you would pay at a club. It was insanely expensive. I was shocked!!! Also, the place is filled with insects! One time place. ITALICA is giving real Italians a bad name in South Florida!

Yelp
I am writing this review, because I am so disappointed at the restaurants managing our reservation on Valentine's Day. It was my first date with someone and he had planned it so well when we got to the restaurant, my day politely told the maître d' email that we had a reservation at 7:15. She had a lackluster attitude after she got off the phone call on her cell phone and took us to the table m. She sat us down outside. My date asked the waiter about the package for Valentine's Day, and he assured us that everything was in order and walked away. We waited about 20 minutes. The waiter never came back to get our order or anything we had to flag him down. It's almost like he wasn't interested in helping us. The advertisement said we would get, Prosecco a special gift and hors d'oeuvres passed around. I asked the waiter about the Prosecco. he said that that would be passed out "at the end" he never clarified with the end meant. So we ordered cocktails. Each of us had two cocktails and ordered something to eat. I ordered a dirty martini which I've ordered there before and it was great when I ordered the second dirty martini it was poorly made had some kind of sweet taste to it. I asked the waiter if he could take it back because it was improperly made. He brought back another martini and again it was sweet and it did not taste like a dirty martini. I asked the waiter if it was the same bartender because it's not the same drink. He told me he personally watched the bartender make the drink and took it back. A female bartender name. Anna came over with a martini and it was perfect and she told me she was the one that had made my first drink. And to ask for her. I told her thank you very much, because the waiter kept insisting that they had made the dirty martini correct the other couple of times, Understand me this is a first date, and it totally impacted my mood on the date-Our reservation was at 7:15 and the hors d'oeuvres were supposed to be passed around between 6 and 8 PM. We never saw any hors d'oeuvres nor did we ever get any Prosecco. Nor the gift. I am very disappointed at the waiter who was not attentive at all to our needs. I don't understand it was Valentine's Day. Why would you treat people this way?

Yelp
I called to ask a question 5 times in a row they hung up on me in my face. BAD SERVICE DONT GO . And I'm putting this on social media so every one can know because they need to fire their workers and hire new ones that can speak properly

Yelp
I recently dined at itálica for lunch. The food was undeniably Delicious! The service was, unfortunately a major letdown. The restaurant wasn't even packed. I won't say the servers name but that server spent most of the time talking to a Friend instead of checking in on us. The establishment has the potential to be a gem if they can address and improve upon the service aspect, ensuring that patrons can fully relish both the exceptional food and pleasant atmosphere.
