I have trusted this bakery for my 2 children’s birthday parties for years now. The cakes they make look so amazing and impressive and what’s even better is that they are delicious. I always get compliments on the cakes at our parties. Most recently we ordered a paw patrol cake for my son’s 3rd birthday. The cake was 2 tiers with the full paw patrol tower on top and a fondant Chase. It was incredible! The bottom tier was confetti cake with chocolate icing and the top was strawberry with vanilla icing. We can’t decide which is better! So so good. I LOVE this bakery.

I want to start out with 2 recommendations: the tasting and the actual wedding cake. The tasting was superb: 5 large cupcake size cakes, each a different flavor and each a different filling/frosting. Now I understand most people look at cake and think "Oh its cake" and I was among them. However, not this cake. One of the flavors was a Bourbon Carmel Cream and we had it on chocolate: decadent. The Almond cake with cookies and cream filling: stunning! My husband and I took the leftovers and shared with two friends: they loved the lemon. They were shocked by the lightness and fresh lemony flavor, they said it was well balanced. Highly recommend at least doing a tasting if you aren't sure. Now my husband won $500 off our cake from a Wedding Expo. Once again I was still on the fence, because I am the one managing the budget. We saw in their shop an example of a stained glass floral cake design. We both had our mind turning on ideas after tasting the cakes. We were in love with the Chocolate with Bourbon Carmel cream, so were were totally getting that one! We had to pick 2 other flavor combinations because we needed 150 peoples' worth of cake. We selected the almond cake with cookies and cream filling as a bottom tier(12 in) and Red velvet with cream cheese as the middle tier(10in). The chocolate with bourbon caramel the upper two tiers(8in and 6in). We also opted to get the top tier prepaid for our 1 year (2025) anniversary in the contract. So we don't even have to save the cake in our already full freezer. Delivery was wonderful, no issues: Peachtree City, GA. They set up the cake with all our toppers in the setup we had preset. Our venue cut smaller slices than expected so everyone ended up with 2 flavors. Well worth it. The artistic talent that went into the stained glass with our orchid flower and colors, was magnificent! My husband I have already decided to return annually to get some cake, since where else do you get chocolate with bourbon caramel cream or almond with cookies and cream!

It's a Sweet Life Bakery has been an integral part of our family's celebrations for nearly two decades. Their ability to turn our cake visions into reality is simply unmatched. From my oldest son's first birthday to my youngest's most recent, they've consistently exceeded expectations. Amie and her team not only deliver delicious cakes but also exceptional service. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of a sweet touch to their special occasions. Thank you, Amie and team, for always making our celebrations sweeter!

Amanda sold us at our consultation appointment! She was very professional and was able to meet all of our expectations. The cake was beautiful and delicious-- it was better than I could have imagined. She also made a cookie table for us too with mini whoopie pies, Italian wedding cookies, mini cookies, custom icing cookies, and cannoli. Additionally, we had smaller gluten free and vegan cakes too-- so the baker was very accommodating. It's a Sweet Life was an absolute Godsend because our original pastry chef from 2020 lost her business and was no longer able to service our wedding. The only thing that I would suggest is renting a cake stand separately or making sure your venue can provide a cake stand. It's a Sweet Life requires you to deliver their cake stand back to them within 24 hours after the wedding. You could plan to have someone from the wedding party deliver it the next day for you as well. We were about to leave on our honeymoon when we were reminded of this policy. Our venue is 45 min from where we live and the bakery is another 40 min from the venue-- it was a stressful time getting it back to them.

We ordered a cake here for our daughter's 3rd Birthday and they went above and beyond our expectations. The cake was beautiful, tasted yummy, and received many compliments by guests. Definitely worth every penny- which was a fair price for the exceptional product you receive!!! Amanda was amazing to work with and very nice! We will be getting many event cakes here and love to support such kind and amazing people and businesses. They deserve more than 5 stars and I was happy to refer many people from our party place their way!

This bakery brought to life our vision for our baby shower. We wanted Calvin and Hobbes on our cake and scenes from the comic on our cookies. Everything turned out better than we could have imagined and tasted even better. Definitely our go to bakery for birthdays and events.

If you are looking for the absolute best wedding cake of your life, It's a Sweet Life bakery is a MUST. We met with Amanda to do a tasting and instantly knew we had found the right place. The flavor combinations were so delicious that we went with 4 different flavor combinations (1 for each tier of the cake). Lastly, we had discussed with Amanda that we didn't want a boring white cake and she absolutely blew us away with the detail on the cake. She did individual flowers with icing the whole way up the cake and they perfectly matched our floral wedding theme. I cried when I saw it delivered into the venue. All of our guests raved about the cake all night long and I would recommend them to anyone looking!

My fiancé and I found this bakery at The Atlanta Wedding Extravaganza. We were very delighted with the taste of the cake, so naturally, we signed up for a tasting. The tasting was AMAZING and the service was supreme! Needless to say, we booked and are excited for the final outcome. We’re so happy to have It’s a Sweet Life be a part of our special day!

Amanda helped me lock in my order for my daughter's pre-k graduation cake. I sent her a photo, told her the flavor request and how many people. She responded quickly and with a very fair price. My mom picked it up day of, and someone helped her by carrying it to the car and ensuring it was safe from getting messed up. The cake was beautiful AND delicious. It wasn't dry at all. I couldn't stop eating the leftovers . I highly recommend this bakery to everyone!

I visited Sweet Life after getting a facial. I loooove cake so stopping in was a no brainer! I looove red velvet cake, so I got a red velvet cake jar, cupcake and due to checking in on Yelp a free Red velvet cookie (i know, OD red velvet) & I got my Fiancé a carrot cake jar. At first glance I thought the jars were very cool and a different twist on slices, however, once I had a moment to dig into it, the icing was a bit too sweet for me. Now, make no mistake, I'm going to eat it all, just wish the jars had more cake than icing. The cupcake is definitely more my speed! Easy to remove the icing if need be & you get a generous amount of cake! The cookie was delish also! I did get to try my Fiancé's carrot cake jar which was very good! Service was great & the cake was tasty!

Treat yourself to something sweet at It's a Sweet Life! I noticed the small shop after a visit to Playa Bowls down the street and stopped in for a sweet treat. Dog friendly! Love that I can just pop in with my pup to pick up desserts to go. They also sell pupcakes of you're so inclined. I decided on a red velvet jar cake which amounted to the equivalent of a big slice of cake. The cake was quite sweet but was everything a moist red velvet cake should be. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a sweet treat to bring home to the fam or plan on indulging on by yourself!

This place is usually my go to but today I was caught off guard with the mold in the cake jar. I was hoping the owner would address it but haven't heard back. Such a disappointment

ATROCIOUS! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. I placed my order and although the employees are kinds they higher up are not professional and communicative. They have hung up in my face and told me that it does not matter how I feel about the outcome of my purchase! Horrible service for a "luxury bakery"!

I ordered a cake and it looked great but it tasted horrible - too expensive for a DRY cake with NO flavor and not enough strawberries it was SO DRY we couldn't even cut it to serve Over rated and expensive!!! Better cakes in Whole Foods or even Publix terrible!! Not too mention young girl ask me to pay $6:50 to try the flavor I selected for the inside of the cake !!! Terrible won't ever buy a cake there!! Over rated expensive and tasteless!! Cake was hard as a ROCK

I ordered a small cake and cupcakes for my daughter and her fiancé's engagement party. I described my vision for the cake and they absolutely delivered! It was amazing. The cake was lemon with a strawberry filling and I ordered 24 cupcakes (vanilla with chocolate frosting and chocolate with cookies and cream frosting). All were delicious!! Stopped in today strolling around the Halcyon. Purchased their dog treats only to find mold on them! Glad I noticed before I fed to my dogs. As a place that sells other treats it has me questioning the freshness of their other products in their display case...

Ordered my second cake, and wow they did not disappoint! A delicious orange chiffon cake with cream cheese frosting - the entire cake was eaten! Thank you once again for your excellent service and a quality cake.

Been supporting this company for years. However, within the last few times I've ordered they seem to use being extremely busy as an excuse for mediocre products. I was told, "we're really busy this time of year, we just had someone quit, or this part of the season is always slammed". I shared my concern with both Amie and Amanda, their position and attitude was about the same, unbothered. Their stance was take this basic effortless option or leave it. It's fine, though. I will take my business and loyalty someplace that understands the importance of humility.

Located on the corner of one of the side shops of the Halcyon, this little quaint shop definitely needs some more care and attention. We were greeted by an employee at the register, and checked out their display of cupcakes, cookies, and cakes that are made into custom designs that were on display. It is very clean (as it should be considering its brand new) but there's not much of a selection. There's also nowhere to sit, napkins or utensils provided when I got my order. The owner/head manager was there, never had a smile or even greeted us, and was not friendly at all during our encounter. I would honestly go as far to say a little rude and irritated we were even there. The employee at the cash register was way more nicer w a smile on her face. I got a red velvet cupcake and a chocolate covered Oreo. The cupcake was so small, and based on steep price of $3.75, this should have been the best cupcake of my life. It was the worst. My 4 year old even spit it out. It was hard, dry, and you could feel it to touch and upon opening it up, it was obvious it wasn't fresh and didn't taste good. Even the icing was hard and seemed like it had been out for awhile. So disappointing. The Oreo $3 was great, good tasting chocolate, and pretty perfect on presentation as well as thickness of the chocolate to cookie ratio. We had to walk to the middle of the courtyard at the halcyon to try the food and ask for a napkin and utensils from other establishments, which is kind of annoying when it should have been provided already for me. The cupcake was so bad, I didn't even want to go back to let them know based on how the owner seemed at the shop (very uninviting) They would have gotten a zero on the cupcake but because it was clean, Oreo was good, and I haven't tried their specialty cakes, I gave a 1 star for room of improvement.

Such a cute little bakery in Halcyon! They have a display case for takeout treats and they do custom cake orders with some of the beautiful sample cakes displayed. I decided to pickup a treat while shopping at Halcyon and everything looked really good. I went with the Halloween themed cake pop for $4. It was a tasty cake pop, great flavor and consistency. Just a bit pricy in my opinion.

Run, don't walk to this locally owned bakery and sample their delicious offerings. Their cake jars are just enough to satisfy any sweet tooth and their giant cookies will make you stand up and cheer. If you are planning an event then order one of their specialty cakes. The artistry is fantastic and the taste matches the beauty. This is not your Publix cake so expect to pay for the artwork but you won't be disappointed. Absolutely delicious.

This bakery is amazing! I actually found them by way of my spouse who got some cupcakes from them at his job. We needed a cake vendor for our vow renewal and decided to try them out. The cake tasting was fun and organized. There is a separate room for this and we tried a variety of flavors, all were amazing. We never went to any other cake tastings as we decided to choose them that day. We then needed a Sweet 16 cake for our niece bortjday. She was visiting from the Bahamas ans wanted a specific cake. They got it done for us and it was a hit. They are very talented. I am so excited to have found them.

The place is nice. The people were friendly and my daughter was super excited to bring some macarons home. After lunch from Never Enough Thyme (great place) we went home as she couldn't wait to try the million dollar cookie. I mean with what they charged, they'd have to fresh and spectacular. Unfortunately, these cookies have been sitting around awhile and were stale. They tasted like refrigeration. With so many cake options out there, I'm afraid they've lost my business. On the other hand it should make for good pool conversation.

Cookies are beautiful but tastes very very dry and basic. They weren't horrible, but you can't expect people to want a cookie just because it's pretty. You may sell them once but people will not return if the flavor is this basic and dry. Redo your recipe and keep these cookies fresh. At $5 a cookie they should taste like a gem!

Had to add another review! Came back for my son's birthday cupcakes this time. They were able to fulfill my request in short notice and exceeded my expectations. I live 20 minutes away, with 3 or more bakeries in closer proximity, but will only go here for my special orders. We always grab some treats from their case, too. Love their big cookies!

Thankful to Amanda and her team for their outstanding service. My wedding cake was brought to life with almost no lead time. So decadent. So aesthetically pleasing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We have visited this bakery at the Halcyon Farmers Market and their actual storefront location and have had great experiences in both instances. Their shop is super clean and they have the cutest little consultation room for personalized orders, too! We have had the cookies and the cake in a jar and really enjoyed both of them! Our favorite cake in a jar is the white chocolate raspberry + carrot cake! I'm surprised about the reviews below mentioning poor customer service, because I actually experienced the exact opposite! The front cashier was super friendly and at the farmers market they are super attentive even with a big crowd!

Tried the peach cake in a jar, not fresh and the filling inside the cake is frosting!!! I didn't finish the fork. For this price I expect better quality than grocery store cake.

Wow! What a (hidden) gem! One step thru the door and you know you are somewhere special. The cake art is mind-blowing! I'm eating a giant chocolate and caramel cookie as I type and it is divine. Don't order your cake from anywhere else. This should be your go to!!

I worked with them to create a cake for my 50th birthday. I wanted something special, and they did not disappoint. The cake was so delicious!! The best cake I have ever tasted. It was also GORGEOUS!!! I simply could not believe how beautiful it was. I will definitely use them again!

This place was awesome. We ordered a baby-shower cake from them. We had ideas from other cakes to come together and make one cake. It turned out adorable. They were even able to help us with the delivery. It was a bit of a distance, but they did it at an extra cost. Every penny was worth spending as the cake was beautiful and tasted even better. I am appalled with the owner's lengthy response. A simple sorry and some effort on her part to make it right would have sufficed. Apparently she needed to make sure to defend herself. I guess customer is always right doesn't apply to this business. Of course I feel obligated to explain further so no crumbs are left on the table. After Katy R and I told the owner about the stale cupcake, she made no effort to make it right.. She just looked at us like she was insulted. You know that awkward silence? Yep. That happened. So in effort to alleviate the silence ... we told her we wanted to help her. Apparently we should have been more direct but thought we were being kind. Silence... So when she said that we left before she "had the chance" to make it right. Don't believe it. Her silence to us spoke volumes. She had plenty of opportunity to make it right. She chose not to. Apparently there is no client care at this business. How can this be at a CUPCAKE store? Isn't owners of cupcake stores happy and sweet? Not this one.

Man, I was highly disappointed in this bakery. I'm new to the area and have a major sweet tooth so I was excited to have a bakery within walking distance. I went one afternoon to check out the selection and satisfy my sweets craving. When I entered, another customer came in right behind me. There was no one at the counter initially but then someone came up. Not sure if it was the owner or just an employee, but it was obvious that it was the first time for both of us (the customer who came in behind me and me). The person offered no help and was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. I wasn't sure if it was just me or what. But the person behind me actually left and I should have followed suit...but I went ahead and ordered a brownie. The brownie was bad. It was hard and when I went to bite it, it was crumbly, dry, and just...not what I expected. I don't think I'd give this place another chance based on the poor customer experience.

A lovely cake was prepared for my daughter's wedding on October 26, 2019. It was so moist, fresh, and beautiful. Customer service was great throughout the entire process. Half of the cake was of the brides choice and the other half was New England Patriots (groom's choice). Thank you It's A Sweet Life for making this day memorable for my daughter and my son-in-love.

Used this company for my husbands 40th birthday. Last minute planning and decided to go with a Hennessy cigar bar party. She did and amazing job executing exactly what we wanted! Every detail was on point!

I ordered a Houston Texans cake from here for my boyfriend's 30th birthday. He LOVES it and it is delicious! Affordable price and great quality.

I had a pleasant experience with the bakery. I went in with my fiancé on a Friday night and he immediately said something about how good it smelled in the shop. This is notable because he doesn't eat sweets at all -- I'm the one with a major sweet tooth. We ended up following up with the bakery to potentially get a wedding cake made by the company, as the cakes they have on display are beautiful. I received information via email about rates and details in a timely manner. We went to pick up the sample box and I loved the presentation, the convenience and the way the cake samples tasted. Ultimately, we chose another vendor but it had nothing to do with It's A Sweet Life. I would've considered ordering our cake with them if it wasn't for other circumstances.

Never got a chance to find out for myself. Very poor customer service. I attempted to order a custom 2 tier cake for my daughter's graduation. Approximately 3 weeks before the event, I began the ordering process by using the "contact us" form on their website. The next day, I received an email response from Amie Pagan that stated she would be available to provide a cake for my event and asked a few typical questions about my order. I immediately replied and awaited a response that didn't come. Over the next week, I sent another email to Amie and called the store in a effort to continue the process... to no avail. I resorted to using the website's contact us form again. It worked and Amie replied that she would send me a quote for the cake and "get back to me later that morning". A few days passed and that quote never came. I called the store and left another message. I never heard back. Once I reached 5 days out from my event, I had to assume that I was in need of another vendor. Fortunately, I found someone reliable who was able to create a cake masterpiece that was incredibly yummy with very short notice!

I was a bit worried after reading the reviews on Yelp and decided to give them a try. My experience was beyond amazing. I sent a request/message through Yelp as it was after hours and as I did not have their email. They replied the following morning to notify me they did not receive the image of the cake I was inquiring about. Long story short, I emailed them what I was looking for with a 2 week notice and they were able to fulfill this beautiful spider man cake for my son's Birthday. The communication was great so give them a try and you will be impressed. Thank you ladies for the beautiful Spider Man cake.

This place should be called 'Its A stale gluten free life.' We went in celebrating our birthdays & because I'm gluten free, we opted for a gluten free cupcake. They only had vanilla to choose from which was disappointing. At first bite, we could tell this wasn't baked today or probably even yesterday. Thinking the owner would want to make it right, she just said " sorry, but it was baked this morning." Then she stared us down making it clear she had no intentions of making it right. I've had my fair share of GF cupcakes 8 years having celiac. This was a terrible customer service experience. Not only did she not offer a replacement, she didn't offer a refund. We won't be back.

I would have hoped to be writing a winning review of It's a Sweet Life! In an attempt to have a consultation for my daughter's upcoming wedding cake, I called during business hours on two separate days and left a voice message. My calls were never returned. I decided to stop by the bakery and spoke with the baker's aunt and she recommended we go online and fill out our request there. We did. Still no response. My only hope is that this person, who has obviously invested a great deal of time and resources into this beautiful new business, is ok. There are very few reasonable explanations for such lack of attention to customer care otherwise.

Used this company for my baby shower on 5/28 and I loved my cake !!!!! They are sometimes hard to contact via phone but other than that their work is EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!! Amie and team are top notch! Price was great for the quality of work! My cake blew my mind ! I am now a loyal customer whenever I have any events ! I would totally recommend them 100% ! Keep up the good work !

I came to It's a Sweet Life Bakery off of a recommendation and am so happy I did! Amie was so easy to work with. I told her my vision and she just went with it. It was a beautiful tasty cake for my daughters 5th birthday. I wasn't crazy about fondant and Amie assured me that my cake could be done with buttercream instead and still have the clean look of fondant. Payment and pick up was quick and easy. Did I mention it was tasty?! The kids and adults enjoyed every bit of it.

Tried ordering a wedding cake multiple times. Just like others, I could not get more then a couple responses over a month and a week. I even called to give them my money and still no response. I went with another bakery.

We ordered 12 cupcakes we all got sick.. The taste was HoRRiBLE Customer service is the worse.. Stay away from this place

This bakery is awesome! I have had cakes, cupcakes, and cookies from them and they are always great. I've taken cupcakes to parties and family functions, and they have always been a huge hit. Today, I was given this adorable, tasty cookie flower arrangement for Mother's Day.

Absolutely. The. Best. Bakery. Around. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!! The cakes she made me were the most amazing things I've ever seen. The cake was the hit of a lifetime. I had her create a corvette for me and she absolutely hit it out of the ball park!

I'm moving to Halcyon soon and visited this bakery. It has wonderful cakes and cookies. I loved most that the icing didn't taste like a ball of sugar. It was very nice and complimented the cupcake so nicely. I look forward to enjoying this treats in the future. Must try.

The ladies in the office bought cupcakes from It's a Sweet Life to try and they were not very good. The chocolate icing with yellow cake tasted like it had lemon in it. The outside edge on almost all of them were hard. Some had a previously frozen taste to them. The chocolate fudge icing was cold and hard, and the cookie or brownie on top was dry and crumbly. I don't mind paying a little more for a good cupcake but these were on the small side and not worth the price or experience.

I was in need of a wedding cake. I knew I wanted a fondant cake, but several inspiration pictures I looked at appeared to be a complicated job that required a skillful baker. After looking at some of Amie's work, I felt she was right for the job. She delivered and set up my cake with care and utmost attention. When the cocktail table the cake was supposed to be displayed on was too wobbly, she immediately brought it to my attention and with some help, was able to rearrange the cake onto a different table. The cake was exactly like the cake in a pinterest photo! I was impressed at the detail and work that was involved in cake making after working with Amie. She was very meticulous, passionate, and experienced. I enjoyed working with her and will not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing a beautiful cake that also tastes good!

I can't say enough amazing things about this bakery - very responsive, great quality, pays attention to detail, will meet your budget, and delicious tasting sweets! We stopped in this bakery during the grand opening event for Halcyon and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. The artistry in the cakes on display are over the top gorgeous! We enjoyed some yummy treats while we were there. The staff was very warm and friendly. We look forward to making this a regular stop while enjoying the area with our family, and I now know who to go to for our special events in the future! Super talented AND delicious!
