It’s Boba Time

I swear this was the most tasty boba smoothie I have ever had in my life! I tries a coconut strawberry smoothie with boba. My friend got a house milk tea with boba. The flavor of my smoothie was so delicious. I can't wait to go back!

Yes the employees have anger issues here I saw a man who was obviously sweating very bad and dehydrated ask for water and 2 of the employees started beating up the man and tazing the man not only inside the restaurant but all.the way down the sidewalk and into.the street they were trying to hurt this man and all he wanted was water. I will never go here again because I can't stand bullies like that. That man should sue boba time and own the whole chain after being treated with such disrespect.

I was here with my girlfriend last week and a guy came in asking for water and instead of the employees giving him water the started shoving him and tazering for no apparent reason and the crazy thing was they didn't stop once they pushed him out of the store they kept punching him and tazeringjim down the sidewalk amd into the street. It was crazy and the poor guy just wanted water.

Wide selection of drinks, boba, and toppings. Slightly understaffed. Update 4/4/22: amazing drinks. Tastes so good.

A little crowded when I went. Great selections and customer service. They can add Boba to anything which is AWESOME. I recommend this place.

This location has the standard menu, but it is missing the one Oolong option that is still available at the 8th/Vermont location. There is no seating by design. Crates, stacks of drink cartons, plastic bags, and cardboard boxes are visible in the store front. Items that should be in a supply closet or out of view of customers are on full display. The display case is left dirty during business hours. The staff, unmasked was observed sniffing the drink mixture while it was in the blender as they were pouring it to be served. Although, this employee could have been trying to identify the content, it was completely off-putting and unsanitary.

The popcorn chicken is always good. It was my first time having the sour cream and onion fries. Those were really good also.

I am crazy about It's Boba Time. It's always been my main go-to for milk tea! The Alvarado/Olympic location was very clean inside. The service was very quick, and there's a restroom inside for customers. I ordered a Hokkaido milk tea, as always, with boba and lychee jelly, 50% sweet, easy on the ice (it's my go-to, plz try it!) The consistency was perfect, and I love that they actually take my modifications seriously! I've been to some locations that you could tell didn't really half the sugar. I left feeling good, but I do miss the "punch card" they had before the pandemic! I'd always get a free one after my 10th milk tea, and as a regular, I'd get them all the time! Beware, the area is a bit sketchy. A pantless man was being odd in front of the building, so I wouldn't linger in the area.

Basically orange food coloring and milk. So disappointing. Do yourself a favor and go to literally any other boba place and for a good drink.

I came in around noon on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. Service was super quick and staff were really nice! I recommend the peanut butter açaí bowl. It's pretty filling and tasty.

This location could be a hit or miss depending on the day and time you visit. It could be crowded with a family or 5-7 kids screaming and out of control or it could be a ghost town. Drinks are alway made fresh and I've never had an issue with any of my drinks. They no longer have a seating area (thank Gawd!) so it a stop and go location. You order your drink, wait a few minutes and then leave. I guess employees were fed up with parents not watching their 5 kids run around the place creating a mess.

They are always quick with our order and everything is alway delicious . The store it self is clean and they have seats where you can wait for your boba. It is my go to place for Boba Time.

I intended to order an XL drink here but they are not available for some strange reason. Why? I decided to go to the one in Vermont instead.

Yummy good service must come here asap!!!! Very good ambiance coming here again for sure.

Okay boba, and minimal vibes. The boba is usually okay across Boba Time chains. The same is true at this location. To me, 'ok' is due to the strange pearl texture, the default sweetness level being too high, the lack of tea and milk flavors coming through well, and the lack of a searing area where people can socialize.

Average tasting boba drinks at best. It gets the job done, but nothing to write home about. Service is kind of hit or miss at times. This particular location is takeout only. The waiting area tends to be on the dirty side. It's a chain boba place. You're better off with the mom and pop spots, better service and drinks.

I have been waiting on the line to order and it took forever so, finally couldn't order, store must hire more employees to avoid this happening, worst service and no one paying attention to customers

I come here often. Drinks are always good. I get cookies and cream, and the mango slush as well. MOST of the staff is really nice and professional. The last two times I went in, I noticed an employee yelling and slamming kitchenware. I couldn't help but feel bad for the other employee as they didn't seem to be doing anything wrong. I get it could be a high stress environment as I also work in food service, but this behavior seemed hostile and should be reevaluated by management.

This place sucks major ones!! I ordered my drink and asked to scan my rewards, but the dude seemed like he didn't care at all. I got my drink, and the powder was super thick like it didn't dissolve. I checked my rewards, and the dude never scanned it. What a shitty place! I'm never coming back to this Boba Shit!!

This is my favorite Boba place. The quality, consistency and flavor of the drinks are always on point.

I ordered online and drove in this store 30 minutes after I placed the order. When I arrived, they said their internet is not working and that I have an option to be refunded once their internet is resumed or they can do the order now and I will wait for about 10mins. Tap here and there on the register and then she said im good. 10 - 15 mins later of standing inside the store, the same lady called me and asked if she can see my online order coz she needs to write it down. So curiously I asked, no one is preparing my order yet? She said something but I didnt hear it so I asked the same question. She no one yet, and I asked but why? I have been standing in that corner for 10-15 mins, she said im the only person in the register, but I see 6 people including their manager/owner maybe. I understand the situation but i wish before she said im good to go at the register, she made sure someone has my order. 15 minutes later, a total of almost 30 minutes waiting, I am missing one boba drink from what they prepared. I guess this is not my day

I've been coming here ever since they've opened, and honestly every time I come here the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Not only that the environment is always clean. But besides that the boba here is always delicious definitely recommend this spot but the only downside is trying to find parking in this small plaza.

Los trabajadores de boba son muy amables y te atiende bien y aparte hablan español ya que en algunos no hablan les doy un 10/10 muy buen servicio y las bebidas son muy ricas. El ambiente es muy bueno me gusto el ambiente, esta muy bien el ambiente para mi en algunos aveces no hay buen ambient.

They have a fast and great service that make me feel good and making my order just like wanted. The Boba is great and just like expected.The place is very clean and neat which makes a person wanna visit again .

Close by my house so I come here and the employees are always so nice. Boba is my favorite drink so I have to slide through.

My husband and I love boba but in a Sunday night the last thing you want before you start your weeks is go to to a place and get bad service . Chelsea seem like we were annoying her It was a bit busy but her bad attitude makes you regret go to this place if you can avoid it .

During this pandemic, we all need a little pick me up. Not sure why, but lots of boba shops in LA don't sell popcorn chicken. Luckily, this location does! Service was fast, the place was clean and had a nice modern interior. They had plexiglass up to protect their workers and customers. They also have a one person at a time policy. Solid place to get boba and a little snack.

The boba itself was fine, nothing extraordinary but nothing to complain about either. Despite what pictures online might make it seem, there is no seating here and it's now purely a take-out spot.

Ever since the pandemic I have been finding myself coming here way more often than I did before or ever. At the moment they are allowing only one person to enter the store at a time and with a mask on. My usual go to drink is Thai Tea no boba but recently have been indulging in the Pistachio Frappe. Just these last couple of time I have been getting extra pistachio, it just makes it so much better. I usually get the large since my fiancé and I share it. The cost is decent it's about $5 and some change. They charge 0.50 for the extra pistachio as well. I haven't really tried anything off the food menu. This location accepts cards and cash. The parking lot is very small and sometimes really sucks cause it can get really packed in there. I don't know why but I feel like all boba times have small parking lots.

I had very delicious bubble tea here the other day. I got something off of their "top 10 drinks" menu that was really helpful in choosing. It had my favorite flavors - coconut tea with fresh strawberries blended into the drink. It really hit the spot. The only thing that I didn't like is that they didn't have the ability to adjust the sweetness of the drink. Since there was that road block, I just asked them to use less powder, since that's what they used to make the drink. The place also had a case of beautifully displayed desserts such as cheesecake and tiramisu. It was super tempting to get but I didn't end up getting any of it. I love the idea of putting fresh fruit inside bubble drinks alongside boba. It makes it super tasty and I wish more people did that. Although I walked here from my hotel, the parking lot was also super tiny so I can't imagine it being easy to drive to this location if people were trying to do that.

Never fails at this location , I don't see what's the point of placing an order online and requesting a pick up at a certain time when is never ready. They tend not to care nor even apologize. It's very upsetting when you're on a time frame!!!!

The parking lot of this location is very limited; but it is DTLA, so street parking may be the way to go. I had been to the Torrance location once before. Since I enjoyed the Pistachio Frappe (Pistachio, Ice Cream, Milk) during my first visit, I decided to order another on my second visit. Though this time, I did order it with boba since it had been a long time since I've had boba. It seemed a bit like an odd choice but it worked well together. The boba was cooked to perfection and not too sweet. For a Sunday night, there were a lot of workers behind the counter and I felt quite safe. A transient did enter the store and stopped by every table asking for money, but one of the workers politely asked him to leave. Overall, great customer service and great tasting drinks. Service is quick and don't forget about that stamp card if you frequent often!

Ordered on app, when I got there, drinks are ready except for 2 orders of popcorn chicken. Waited for 15 mins, and the employee realized they forgot to cook the popcorn chicken. When she gave me my order and told her, you guys forgot the chicken... she said... yes! No sorry or apology, wow! Unacceptable.

Mad at their service I went in at 9:50 waited in line and by the time I was up next it was 10:01 and the location closed till 11 so I proceeded to order an açaí bowl and they stated that they don't do açaí bowls after 10 even though it was only 10:01 the cashier said she'd ask her manager and he said no I protested being that I was in the store before 10 and it was barely 10:01 but still they denied my ordered I decided to go to a different location and asked about this new rule and they said that they had never heard of such rule that they probably just didn't want to bother making an açaí bowl. Is this a legit rule and if so where's the sign stating such rule ?

Was not very pleased with the service I got here. I came in around 9:30 pm wanting to order one of their fresh juices, to which the cashier said "oh we stop serving juice at 9:30" yet their menu/sign clearly says they stop serving juice at 10:00 pm. So either the cashier is misinformed or whoever made the menu was. Since the juice wasn't available, I asked if I could have one of their matcha drinks except without the sugar and milk and he could replace that with water instead because milk makes my stomach hurt, but he said no he can't do that either. Like c'mon if my first choice wasn't available (even though it SHOULD be), couldn't he be a little more accommodating? In the end, I got a honey green tea with 75% less sugar. They ended up doing the less sugar in my boyfriends drink instead of mine so basically I got a third choice drink that was made wrong. Just wow.

Itsssssss boba time. That's what I always think when I see this place lol. The cookies and creme shake with boba was great and loaded with cals lol. I know because they tell you how many calories it has on the menu.

I been coming here at least ones a week because my daughters love this place , never had a problem with the staff or with ordering my drinks they are always nice but today I came in around 8:30 pm and this Asian girl named jannis I've never seen her before, she had the nastiest attitude ever like if she was paying for my drink's. I'm forsure not coming around this time no more

My friend and I came in today at around 10:32 am to get boba and everything was going well until I noticed a hair in my drink! Luckily we were still in the area and went back to let them know. They apologized and offered to make me a new drink or give me a refund. I got the refund but one inside I noticed two of the workers (maybe managers) not wearing masks. I wouldn't recommend coming here very unsanitary especially during this pandemic.

This place is doing the most. We have a mask, check! We are standing 6 feet apart, check! They have a protective glass at the cashier, check! So why is it that only one person per party can go inside. That's why my order didn't come out correct. This place is doing the lost!!!!! If we all have masks and wash out hands... why are they so extra

Nice and bright location, large selection and friendly staff. Their slushes were great and really refreshing, made quickly and priced well. Great spot to grab a drink while in the area.

I think it is very important to have a smart management for a good customer service. I went to this Boba Time to pick up just 2 drinks. There weren't too long of the line... i was like 3rd person to order. HOWEVER, who knew that someone ordered 39 drinks before I ordered? And you would think the manager would designate one or two people to work on that big order and others to work on the other orders to prevent other customers to wait very long time. But... no... everyone was working on the big order and making everyone else wait forever... very very dumb management... just in case there is another big order before me and the same manager is overseeing the store, I won't be going to that store again!!!

Love this place!!! They have the best milk tea. I always compare it to other places, and I've yet to find one better.... I recently tried thei açaí bowl... so refreshing!

I am so SO glad this place closes late. It's become tradition for me to swing by here after a game at the Staples Center. Their drinks are delicious and it's all made in timely manner. I usually get their popcorn chicken and milk tea combo for 7.99. I highly recommend the coconut strawberry smoothie, it's phenomenal. Don't try ordering any greens (healthy juices) after 9pm, they stop making it.

They have shaved ice items on the menu now and it is amazing. #5 and #6 are our favorites. I recommend the Pistachio France with lychee jelly add-on, and the Coconut Strawberry smoothie with coconut jelly and mini boba. Parking can be difficult but it's not impossible, this location is bigger and nicer than all other Boba Time locations in the area.

What does Boba and Love have in common? The letter O as in O hell yes this place is finally in the hood! Can I please get an amen because I'm really feeling everything about this boba joint. The decor, friendly staff, courteous customer service and one thing I'm really big with is it's very clean! This is definitely a place I would go to so I can work on my school assignments. Definitely welcoming atmosphere for students, especially if you're broke because the drinks are affordable as hell. So let's go to the drinks, I ordered the boba milk tea with out the boba and added egg pudding inside, gotta get me that big size too because big girls gotta drink. Every detail was on point so thanks for accommodating me!! But one thing I would really recommend is the taro or the pistachio. Omg... They're currently doing a soft opening right now so they close at 10PM!! Yaaassssss!!!

Boba time is on another level when it comes to drink quality. I've never bitten into a boba ball from boba time that wasn't a chewy and delicious bit of delight. I absolutely love their pistachio frap and unique drinks as such are what definitely set boba time apart from the rest of the competition. I tried my favorite pistachio frap and my friend tried their milk tea today and both were reminders that nowhere else comes close. This place just opened so everything is super modern and clean. The medley of brick, tile, and wood textures make the interior a fresh and charming environment to enjoy yourself in. The staff was friendly and service was great. Very happy I have a go-to Boba place in LA now!
