Lively, late-night Chinatown favorite where Japanese tapas meet well-executed sushi. Recognized in Yelp’s national rankings and cited by the Review-Journal; a smart pick for post-show nigiri and sake until 2 a.m.

Located off Spring Mountain Rd just east of Jones. Decided to give this place a try due to past reviews. Our server was a friendly and helpful young lady. What we ordered: 1.) Shrimp Tempura appetizer $8.00 the shrimp was lightly battered and served hot. 2.) Yakitori Chicken Breast $3.00 my hubby said it was just ok not that flavorful and not grilled long enough. 3.) Garlic Butter Shrimp $13.00 this dish was flavorful and grilled just right. 4.) Spicy Yellowtail Roll $7.00 This was tasty and fresh. 5.) Jalapeno Yellowtail Roll $14.00 this was not rolled tight enough as when you went to pick up it fell apart immediately. 6.) Uniga Sashimi $6.00 I requested this to be extra, extra crispy, it was not. 7.) Yellowtail Carpaccio $14.00 fish was fresh and Jalapenos were spicy. As with other reviewers the price point here is reasonable, but we had mixed reviews on dishes taste factor.

Went to Its Izakaya for a late-night bite and it was fantastic! The food was delicious, with a great variety of authentic Japanese dishes perfect for sharing. The cozy, authentic atmosphere made it feel like a little escape to Japan. The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. If you find yourself in Vegas late at night, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

One of the best Sushi restaurants I've been to so far in Las Vegas!!!...Love the miso soup!!!...the taste is memorable and the service is top notch!!!...Just press a button and the server comes to your table right away.

Been here a few times. There's parking around the area. On a Saturday night, the parking lot was busy. We've never had to wait for a table which is perfect. Service is always good. Friendly staff and great menu selections. Food: Pork Jowl Spicy Tuna Roll Agedashi Tofu Shrimp Tempura Hamburger and Egg Steak I personally did not like the flavor / taste of the spicy tuna roll. I did however enjoy everything else. The shrimp Tempura was a bit small in size but glad they gave us 4 instead of 3. I enjoyed the salted jowl. Overall, great spot for late night dining.

Dining at Its Izakaya felt like stepping into a cozy restaurant in Japan. The interior was warm, inviting, and authentically styled, creating a truly enjoyable atmosphere. The service was also exceptional—our server was very friendly and made a great impression by asking about any food allergies before taking our order. We tried a variety of yakitori, including different cuts of chicken, beef tongue, and vegetables. Everything was grilled perfectly and full of flavor. The grilled mackerel (saba) was a standout, especially with the sauce—it was delicious. The only dish that didn’t quite hit the mark was the asparagus with bacon yakitori. It was overly salty, and we ended up leaving one piece on the plate. To our surprise, the server noticed and asked if something was wrong. We explained, and she sincerely apologized. That small gesture showed genuine care for the customer experience, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I look forward to returning to try more dishes.

Best place to try when you dont want to wait. The food is excellent! My fav is the Hamachi kama. I get a bowl of rice with it and im in heaven. The flavor is amazing. Grilled to perfection.

Google
Can't believe that I found a fantastic izakaya restaurant in Las Vegas, with fresh sashimi, especially sweet raw shrimp! I love it. They also have happy hours for the draft beer just $4-6 plus tax for me all the price is reasonable and acceptable in Las Vegas, last but not least all the staffs were friendly and service minded.

Google
This it's our third time here and everything is great, service is 10 out of 10 and the food is amazing.

Yelp
My all time fun Japanese food place was "Kon beA" belt sushi restaurant that was on this location. Due to the pandemic and then poor management the place went out of business. Then out of nowhere "It's IZAKAYA" sprung up on Spring Mountain . It's not all you can eat, but it doesn't matter. Excellent sushi and many other Japanese dishes. Happy hour specials at 9pm and everything is authentic and delicious Excellent service and a quaint Japanese atmosphere. Never had a bad meal here. Try the "Crazy Dragon" roll if your a fan of Eel, so good!

Yelp
A must-go-to Izakaya when you're in Las Vegas! (Visited while on vacation) Pretty much everything we ate was delicious and reasonably priced. If you're into sushi, I would highly recommend the sashimi combo and the sushi tacos (especially the Negitoro taco). The sushi tacos were large with a very generous amount of fish, not just rice. Wasn't able to get a picture of the tacos because we were so hungry and it just that good! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I really like the ambiance of the restaurant as it has a modern and traditional Japanese-feel at the same time. Parking is convenient and right in front. Really appreciated that they're open late so we were able to dine after our night out downtown.

Yelp
One of the better bang for your buck izakaya places out there, especially if you come within happy hour (20% off sushi/sashimi). Sashimi is fresh. Miso black cod cooked very well. Beef tongue nice and tender. The biggest complaint is that the whole restaurant smelled like sewage. Kinda unfortunate and probably out of their control but it definitely hurt my appetite.

Yelp
ITs Izakaya is a great meal and you will not go wrong eating here. Almost everything we ate was really good and hit the notes. The service was great and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The only reason for the 4stars instead of 5 is because the competition is Vegas is so intense and there are other izakayas that offer a more innovative menu with a similar dining experience. That being said ITs Izakaya is in the Vegas rotation, and that is saying a lot for a guy who doesn't like to repeat

Yelp
I wasn't that hungry just want something small and quick. skewers ordered: grilled pork belly grilled zucchini grilled eggplant and steak with beansprouts Everything was yummy. Dylan was great! Good place for people on keto diet. Cute surroundings and very unique serving of foods.
google avatar

Sara D.

Yelp
I would come back for their HH sushi but not for their yakitori. It was actually kinda disappointing that sushi was way better than their yakitori. Beef tongue was super chewy and their pork belly was not tasty.

Yelp
It's not often we find ourselves near Chinatown late at night, but we were out late and hungry and stumbled across this place on Yelp. Worth the stop in for sure! The menu is sizable, the food quality is great, and prices are reasonable. Service is prompt and friendly. Very much a no-frills quality late night meal spot. The gyoza were great, tempura was fantastic (asparagus, eggplant, carrot, onion, and shrimp on a bed of rice) and the chicken fried rice (not pictured) was loaded with chicken and tasty. California roll was solid too. I suggest stopping in if you are in the mood for a large variety of options, good food, and reasonable prices.

Yelp
This was our first visit, and we found it through Yelp's 4.7 star rating (always trust fellow Yelpers!). We decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. We were here early, so the restaurant was quite empty, perfect for some quiet time to really enjoy the food. The décor stood out right away, with colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, which added a fun touch. Our server was friendly and attentive, making great recommendations since it was our first time here. We ordered the Large Sashimi Combo, Uni Sashimi, Ikayaki, Uni Pasta, Skewers Combo, and Black Sesame Pudding. OMG, everything was delicious! The sashimi was especially fresh and flavorful, and the combo was the star of the night. We've already decided to come back on our next Vegas trip. The menu has so much more to explore, and we can't wait to try more dishes!

Yelp
Quiet little spot and a nice plan b when my usual favorite Izakayas have a wait of an hour or longer. While none of the food here is anything to write home about in my opinion, the value for portions is pretty good wrt the specialty rolls, which is what I mostly come for. Even then, I wouldn't say the sushi is top tier but again, value for portions is good. The skewer selection is small and overpriced which is a drawback. Yakisoba and other hot items are also good value but either lack in flavor or are otherwise just ok.

Yelp
Firstly, the service is amazing and attentive and our server came with great recommendations. He knew the menu well, knew what to recommend and his personal favorites like the soft shell crab taco also became our favorites; that actually is a must on the table! The ambiance is casual to intimate and has very chill atmosphere, plus a very fun birthday singing ritual (personally I'm not a fan of the singing but it's a great time either way). The plates were decent size and will get you full pretty quickly. The Chef's Choice sashimi was amazing and had some of my favorites for the entire evening. Those Hokkaido Uni nigiri though stole the spotlight.

Yelp
We finally ate here this evening after driving by this restaurant several times. The place has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are quite nice and accommodating. There are ample selections of Japanese dishes including kushiyaki. The food is plated elegantly and very delicious. On top of that it is inexpensive.

Yelp
I always ordered a Kaisen don on DoorDash at this specific location because I think they have the best variety and quality out of all the Kaisen don I've had in Vegas (I've tried a lot). My friend wanted to go here for dinner one day and I didn't realized this was the same place until I saw their Kaisen don in person. It was my first time ever dining at the restaurant. I think they have amazing prices, big enough menu for anyone to enjoy, and fresh seafood. They have happy hour as well. Really like the food here, and it's probably one of my favorite izakaya. Service was also impeccable. My friends and I were catching up for a long time and not once did they interrupt us or rush us to leave (usually other restaurant would hand you a check even though you haven't asked for it). We also didn't feel neglected because they did check in on us at the right time. Place was clean and ambiance was nice.

Yelp
Came back three days later and ordered the Negi Toro tacos again and these were absolutely insane. I would get these over and over again for eight dollars. I also got the mentaiko bowl and this was so good. The rice was super flavorful, and then the Mentaiko was great on top as well.

Yelp
What a great find, food was on point very fresh and very delicious. Service was on point and very knowledgeable. It's a small restaurant but has alot of pazzaz and cool ambiance. Would definitely go back. I didn't eve. Talk about the price. Very well priced for what we got.

Yelp
ITs never lets us down! We had a great dinner after a busy day. Sorry didn't get pictures of most of our dishes: chicken kaarage - amazing; chicken thigh yakitori - juicy & flavorful; Chicken katsu-don, the chicken was juicy and sauce added a perfect balance between the egg, onions, rice and chicken. My go-to sashimi plate was very fresh and enjoyable shrimp was amazing and so sweet. Music was a little loud when we arrived but they must have turned it down or we got used to its. Service was fast and attentive and prices are very reasonable, definitely not Strip prices. Always filled with locals here.

Yelp
A solid five stars I would say I went to heaven when I ate the blue crab taco. It was unexpected amazing, and there were different flavor textures that I never thought would happen and the thing that surprised me. The most was the outer seaweed really did feel and seem like a taco it was made in such a creative way with huge lumping of crab meat. OK beyond dreaming about that taco I would say the $35 chef choice for 15 pieces of sushi is such a great deal I mean overall every aspect of this place from the service to ambience to the taste of the food was top-notch so I can see why yelpers rave about this place. I mean you have to look at the pictures and see what we got all amazing food and I feel like I ate enough for three people. The price is unbeatable for the value and the amount of sushi that they give you so if you are in Vegas and you have a car, this is the place to go. Make sure you try to get happy hour.

Yelp
ITs IZAKAYA was a fantastic take on the traditional Japanese bar experience, at a casual setting. As a person who was born and raised from Japan, I frequently shy away from Japanese establishments outside the country as I'm worried about overpriced, unauthenic experiences but ITs IZAKAYA provided quality fish at reasonable price points! I absolutely loved it. The great part about this place was the weekday Mon-Thurs happy hour for the budget conscious individuals. Food review: Appetizers: Shishito peppers (5/5): Great option for a bit of non-spicy greens with savory sauce. Great portion sizes and perfect for sharing. Softshell crab (5/5): I always order this whenever I can and I love the crunch of the shell with the flavorful morsels of crab. Agedashu Tofu (3.5/5): Compared to other choices, a bit underwhelming but I liked the warm tofu in light crunchy skin in light umami sauce. Takoyaki (4/5): Nothing much to add, a good takoyaki. Mains: Salmon & ikura bowl (5/5): A great value for $12, there was a whole layer of salmon and ikura in the middle. The rice was also seasoned, awesome item. Chirashi bowl (5/5): Had a good assortment of fish and was filling. Dragon roll (5/5): Generous roll with unagi. A must recommend for any unagi lover. Drinks - Lemon Highball (5/5): Refreshing, carbonated almost like a seltzer despite having a shot of whiskey. Long review but the tldr; was that it provided great variety all around and amazing Japanese food! Would come again!

Yelp
Fresh fish and good food. We had oysters, unagi, grilled mackerel, salmon over sesame rice, grill calamari, beef rice donbari, and the outrageous super crab/unagi roll. Everything was good cooked with a balance of taste and texture. The only fault is that the staff though friendly and professional, did not come to check on our experience. Yes there's a button to push to get their attention. In summary, the food was good, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff very friendly. Worth a return. Yelp
Very refined izakaya spot in Chinatown that offers a great selection of skewers and sushi. Their service is excellent and it's a great place for a dinner date as it's an intimate atmosphere.

Yelp
One of the best sushi experiences I've had in Las Vegas for a reasonable price. The booths are super spacious and there's a button to request service. I am 100% coming back. - blue fin tuna nigiri and scallop nigiri: SO good. Thick slices that were so, so fresh. - salmon and sweet raw shrimp nigiri: these were just okay. The small portion sizes were very underwhelming. - negitoro taco and blue crab meat taco: the toro and crab itself was yummy. But I actually did not care for the rice or taco shell concept. But I will give credit for the amount of crab and toro they loaded in there. - yellowtail carpaccio: good, nothing to complain about - honey toast: can't go wrong!

Yelp
Amazing staff, delicious food and nice location. Love the hamachi kama, fried rice, spicy edamame, tuna carpaccio! Would definitely coming back soon.

Yelp
I typically love trying new places but whenever I'm in Vegas, I'd want to stop by here! It's a tiny bit off the strip near Chinatown but it's worth it for some izakaya. There's no wait and the restaurant is calm away from the Vegas vibes. Service is amazing and food is great! It had a wide variety of Japanese food so there's always something you would want to eat! Yakitori and sushi were all reasonably priced too. I coincidently went during happy hour and my salmon and ikura bowl was 20% off. All the skewers were delicious too, not too salty. It was surprisingly alot of food, we had to take some to-go.

Yelp
I'm not giving a 5 star review yet, bc honestly i have yet to try more things on their menu bc every time I go I get the same thing lol. That "thing" that I get is the salmon ikura bowl. It is probably the best deal for this type of bowl in Las Vegas ($13). A generous bowl of salmon with an adequate amount of ikura in the center on top of a seasoned rice concoction that I'm not 100% sure what's in it, but it's good. It's not just rice it's mixed with some type of sauce so the rice is kinda "wet" not what you think bare rice would be like. I've also had the "Kasien Bowl" which is a larger bowl of an assortment of different types of sashimi & ikura (as you can tell ikura is like one of my favorite things) I like that part of the selection is amaebi and they give you the fried head separately. It's a refreshing bowl of sashimi and is a step up from your standard chirashi bowl($26) I really wanted this next bowl to be like how they have it in the menu, but I ordered the "Hokkaido Uni & ikura w/ snow crab bowl) I appreciated that the waiter mentioned that 1. It's not nearly as big as it is shown in the photo on their menu (it's the smallest bowl that I've had there) and 2. That it only comes with 3 pieces of uni :( for the price ($26) I'm not quite sure it was worth it bc the Kaisen bowl is the same price and it's like twice the amount of food. But I guess it was ok if you want more premium seafood. Also bc of the size don't make it your main dish it's more like a teaser. Service was good and they have these little buttons at your table if you need to get the attention of your waiter, which is nice. Overall, the value is good and the dishes have been good. I'll be coming back to try more stuff

Yelp
Great overall experience. The food, service and vibe/ambiance were great! Izakaya came recommended by some local friends. The 6 of us were comfortably seated in a large booth. Reviewing the menu was hard since so many dishes were appealing. When ready to order simply push the button on the table and our server arrived. She was very energetic and friendly. We order many items, such as, Pork Belly, Poke Tacos, Crab Crispy Rice, grilled squid, squid karage, cauliflower, skewers/satay and 2 sushi rolls recommended by our server. One of which was a roll topped w eel. The eel was huge. A whole filet of eel was placed on top of the roll before it was sliced. The eel hung over both ends and was thick and wide!! The other was a Goblet of Fire. Spicey w a white tuna. Delicious!!! The grilled squid was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the Poke Taco, it was inside a nori crust shell filled and tasty. Dessert was Black Sesame Pudding, Mochi bites, and Strawberry Creme Toast The toast was soooo good. Basically the best tasting french toast with ice cream and whipped cream. Very good food, vibe and service!! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Great food + Great service + Great ambiance! Just landed in Vegas and was craving for some bomb food! My bestfriend recommended this place since she found it off Yelp. The decor inside is super cute, spacious & lots of seating. The food that they are known for is their sushi tacos! They are massive! It could feed 2 people, literally bigger than a Taco Bell taco. The shell is made out of seaweed, filled with a decent amount of rice and a generous serving of whatever protein you choose. I definitely want to be back again before I leave.

Yelp
We came here on Thanksgiving because, for once, we wanted the full holiday experience without cooking an entire bird. We were also celebrating a birthday, so we figured we'd keep expectations modest and enjoy a low effort holiday meal. To our surprise--and I mean genuinely shocked--this place exceeded every expectation. First off, we were incredibly grateful they were even open for dinner on Thanksgiving. Not many restaurants are, and it immediately set the tone for a stress-free evening. Upon entering, we were greeted enthusiastically to our reserved table. The menu here is impressively diverse. It starts with a wide range of raw selections--sushi, nigiri, specialty rolls, oysters, and several other fresh seafood options. Everything looked well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. From there, the menu transitions into pages of grill focused dishes, including options like tonkatsu, various stir-fry (the bean sprout beef stood out), whole grilled eel, squid, and even fish collar. It's clear they take pride in offering more than your standard Japanese fare. To round things out, they also offer an assortment of noodle and soup dishes--think clam soup, oden, ramen, and udon--providing comfort-forward options for anyone seeking warmth and heartiness. We ordered so much food it'll take too long to list and review each, but here is a quickfire round of comments: Karage Chicken - Fried really well Takowasa - Delicious and fresh! Whole Grilled Squid - Tasted amazing! Whoel Grilled Eel - This was by far the best bang for your buck. We ordered a 2nd one. Clam Soup - Delicious and fresh Oden Soup - Delicious Chef's Sushi Special - Great bargain Spicy Edamame - Edamame overcooked/boiled Mixed Tempura - Pass Roasted Brussel Sprouts - Pass Hamachi Collars - so good we ordered 2 Salmon Roll - Great for the price Shrimp Spring Roll - Decent Soft Tofu - Tasty Mixed Vegetable salad - Amazing Beef Tongue Skewer - not the freshest Pork Jowl Skewer - Great Scallop Skewer - Great Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Price was also very fair. 10/10, would recommend. Suggest you make reservations!

Yelp
Words cannot describe how this spot was like being shown Heaven's Gate. My friend and I were in town for the Olympia because I had an athlete in it and she had a booth to work. Bodybuilders, we love our food So we wanted Asian food. Found this one spot and got an Uber there, walked in and walked out immediately. So we walk 5-10 min up the road and stumble onto this spot We walk in, and we're the only non Japanese people. Great sign. Well we look at the menu and want to try a bunch of things but could NOT believe the prices. So goddamn cheap. So we got a few things First and foremost, the Takoyaki is the best I have ever had and I have had my fair share. This has ruined all other for me We also got a chicken katsu bowl, gyoza, spicy garlic edamame and a poke salad. Total was under $50 and we went in at like 10:45pm. Waitress was super friendly and all the other people were having a grand time slamming sake

Yelp
If you're looking for an added twist along with traditional Japanese dishes, this is the right spot for you. I ordered several items and my favorite was the ITs Izakaya roll. The service was good and I liked their booths which offered some privacy.

Yelp
This has become my new favorite spot in Vegas. The food is amazing. I can't really pick a favorite but I recommend the skewers, especially the pork belly and chicken skin, no sauce, just salt. The pork jowl skewer is also good. I wasn't a fan of the chicken hearts. They were a bit tough so I didn't order them again. I prefer the ones at izakaya go. Their wonton tacos are surprisingly huge. Their katsu curry is excellent. It is a little spicy, which I'm totally here for. Their poke bowl is another standout, and the katsu bowl is also a good choice. There's still a lot more to try, which I'll do next time. Prices are very affordable. The ambiance is great and the service is outstanding. The staff are all amazing.

Yelp
I've been here maybe 5 or 6xs now & it never disappoints. I seen a video on Instagram & the sushi tacos are what drew me in. I've tried almost all of them & crave them often. The soft shell crab one is a lil spicy & it's not mentioned so that was a small issue for my friend. All of the food is yummy to me. The service is always on point, they have call buttons & come quick even when busy. I've went when they just opened @ 5:30pm & 2xs around 9-10pm. I like the vibe every time, they even bring honey toast for your bday with sparklers & a bday song.

Carmen L.

Yelp
No reservations needed. Came in right when they opened & was seated right away. Waiters were accommodating and answered all our questions regarding the menu and how the service bell works. Lots of parking available. Ambience was very relaxing and enjoyable to look at. FOOD: We got a couple skewers (very limited choices), half dozen oysters, the large sashimi combo, a roll (not pictured) and the salmon ikura bowl - between 2 people; this filled us right up. I would definitely recommend the salmon ikura bowl out of everything we ordered. Rice had seasonings and the ikura and salmon tasted so well together! I'd skip on the other skewers but if you were to order I'd probably only get the pork belly again.

Yelp
This review is for June 13 and May 27. We love coming here. This is our new spot ands we love it here because they have an extensive menu and they serve it in appetizer sizes. Their fish tastes so fresh and they prepare their food well. I love their Mentaiko pasta. This time I tried other dishes, I love their raw oysters, tasted sweet. The sashimi salad is good, rainbow roll is tasty, thick and I noticed the rice they used is kinda gravy like Hawaiian rice. I love the netted shrimp it was my first time trying the netted shrimp and I like it. AB's the agedashi tofu is tasty. Service is good. If you need help just use the buzzer provided. My only gripe are the seats. They're hard and since I have a bad back I can sit that long. They have foams that you can sit on but they're very thin. The restaurant has a very nice interior, nice decorations, floors are clean and bathrooms are clean and well maintained.
google avatar

Yelp
So disappointed with our first dinner experience. The food was great, except for the complimentary miso soup, in which the tofu pieces tasted sour (WTH?!). We ordered the following for party of six: Gyoza Fried squid Spicy yellow tail sushi Hamachi collar Shrimp tempura Rainbow roll Agedashi tofu Seafood ramen Edamame Everything tasted great, but why the two stars review?! The service was HORRIBLE & INATTENTIVE. Disorganized in terms of servers & expeditors. Staffs disappeared most of the night, so we had to flag people down (multiple times) to receive service - unacceptable!

Yelp
I've DoorDash from here and the food was delicious! I ordered the Kaisen bowl, tonkatsu curry, edamame, California roll and agadashi tofu. The kaisen bowl was so yummy, the rice was perfectly cooked and majority of the seafood was fresh besides the uni. My husband said the tonkatsu curry was flavorful. Portions were generous and pricing was on point. Next time we are in Vegas and staying off the strip, I want to dine here to try the other dishes!

Yelp
Service is fast, and the food tastes amazing. If I could, 10/10. Also fantastic ambience.

Yelp
Service was excellent from the time we stepped in to the time we left! Food was really good-- seriously everything we ordered was good and looked pretty, and the place itself is clean. We enjoyed ourselves here and will definitely be back. Highly recommend'

Yelp
Still our favorite local affordable dine-in and take-out Izakaya. Full price is worth it too. Daily Happy hour Open/530pm-9pm are for beers, and then M-R is 20%off most items. We visit at least once a month. Who needs ayce when you can order variety from here (We are mostly nigiri/sashimi/less rice/tapas lighter type eaters for ayce). Not the best, but the best bang for your buck for what we like to order. Daily specials/Happy Hour: 530pm open-9pm for 20%off sushi (exclude combos, special rolls and oysters). And 9pm-last call: 10% Kitchen items. If you dine in, you get miso soup per person. Full Price: This is our usual take out when craving a mini meal, or pretty hefty snacking for 2. $12 Salmon and Ikura (salmon eggs) bowl (favorite best bang for buck item) $6.50 Yellowtail Hand roll (small cut rolls and handrolls are cheaper than other places). $8 Shishamo Smelt Fish. $4-$5 A Taco or Ika small dish. (Sometimes $15 Yellowtail Collar) We no longer order these as take-out: $4 Taco Wasabi. Premixed, so it's too spicy for us. $6 Shishito Pepper. A bit too spicy for me too now. Other Items we'd consider now (Ate with friends): - Clam soup comes with a lot of clams and mussels. The soup is light and tasty. Not overly salty. - $10 Tacos are HUGE!!! They were decent, okay. Great for anyone who like baked mixed type ingredients. I love that they use seaweed (and light tempura batter) as the taco shell. We got the blue crab, and the soft shell crab. We would not get the yakitori. Oyster are okay (I'm particular). Squid was okay but not something we'd order here. We're okay about the rolls (we're just into simple ones, but friends loved the specialty ones). Again we are locals who can be particular with local choices. For most diners, everything is fine.

Yelp
The food here is really good. It's reasonably priced and the portions are what I would expect. Their lemon salmon roll is the best I've had in town. I plan on coming back again.

Yelp
We enjoyed great service at Its Izakaya. It was easy to add to our order and our water cups were filled. The hamachi kama and takoyaki were among the best we've ever had. All of the sushi was good to great. Definitely check this place out for a great meal with lots of variety. Come hungry.

Yelp
This is my go-to casual spot. I've probably tried 20 different items and nearly zero misses. Cheap beer and skewers is my usual order. Nigiri/sashimi was surprisingly good. Pastas were good too. Service is always fast and friendly. Very comfortable atmosphere. Open late. Love this place.

Yelp
Honestly this was a little disappointing!! We wanted to try this restaurant because all of the good reviews, pictures, and menu variety. The food looks delicious and is presented beautifully, but most of the items had little to no flavor. My table ordered mostly appetizers and yakitori, so maybe the sushi rolls are better? We were most disappointed in the beef tongue yakitori as it was overcooked and chewy. The sizzling eel, spicy garlic edamame, and pork belly yakitori were our favorites, and saved this meal for sure. Our servers were really nice and took care of us though, so thank you!! There are definitely better Japanese restaurants in the area that have more flavor for roughly the same price.

Yelp
We wanted Japanese food an I love Izakayas so I saw high reviews of this place and wanted to check this out! Our party had four people and we came during HH. The service was great, such friendly staff and the place was so cute. But food was okay! I frequent good izakaya pretty often back at home in SoCal so this was just so so. The miso soup that came out was so watery and .. bland. It was the first time I had miso soup at a restaurant that was not overly salty but tasted like water.. but I was thirsty and it was warm so I still drank it.. Yakitori - presentation was nice but the meat itself was overcooked.. we ordered the chicken set and I think the thigh and skin were the only good ones. The gizzards, heart was way overcooked it was super tough/chewy. I think the wings were okay. Large sashimi combo was good! Their salmon was good. We also got the fresh clam capriccio and sashimi. The capriccio was much better, the sashimi clam was very fishy. Talking about a bit fishy, the uni pasta was very fishy.. it was not bad but the uni was very fish and they also used it in the sauce so it's super thick.. I was the only one among our party to eat this the most because I love pasta but I dont think it was our favorite dish. We also got the Hamachi Kama and this was huge! This was really good though. Overall I think we liked the sashimi combo and the hamachi Kama the most! I forgot what else we got but I couldn't remember now.. this was over Labor Day weekend. I think if you like izakaya and HH you should check them out. Staff was super friendly!

Yelp
Ended up coming here after the wait at a neighboring spot was too long, and it 100% did not disappoint! Inside is cute and we ended up waiting ~30 mins around 8pm for a party of 8 with no reservation. Service was good, nothing extraordinary but met expectations nicely. I got the chirashi bowl which was slightly smaller than I expected but I wasn't mad since the quality was definitely there! My friend got the kaisendon which had a few extra pieces of fish and variety and I would probably opt for this instead next time. Super worth it for the amount and quality (includes uni!) We also shared the grilled squid which was not too fishy and cooked perfectly (not too chewy, not too soft). Overall, would recommend if you're looking for a smaller, more intimate japanese restaurant open late and away from the action on the strip!

What a great cozy place to enjoy a tasty meal with friends and family. Our server, Dylan, was exceptional. He was there for all of our questions. Dylan has a wonderful personality that would bring us back. I'm sure he brings a lot people back because he is so personable. I recs. Nommend!!

Yelp
This is definitely one of my favorite places to go to when it comes to an izakaya (sushi and skewers). Other notable mentions that are similar to this is Hachi and Ichiza, so if you like those places then you'd like this place. The ambiance of this place is fun as it is a good place to order drinks and get food. I've been here on multiple occasions and they even brough out our sake like we were at the club on the strip. The prices of the sushi are pretty decent, but I highly suggest getting the Chef's Choice Plate Sushi (Omakase) which is probably your best bang for your buck. If you're not into sushi, I'd recommend getting the Skewer set. But the thing I would say about the skewer set is that if you're not eating it fast enough, the skewers do get cold. If you don't plan to eat that much, I'd suggest ordering each individually as you go. If you're craving sushi rolls, I'd suggest the Midnight In Paris as it is jam packed with flavor. Overall if you're looking to have a few drinks and some good food this is definitely a place I'd suggest visiting. It is also open late which is a plus that adds onto those factors.

Yelp
Super mixed review so bear with me. Service here is exceptional. I came here once for takeout out and the server remembered me when I came back to dine in with my partner a few weeks later. Food came out fast and hot. The happy hour deal is ok, although the food portions were much larger than expected. The restaurant overall is cute and cozy with a clean dining area. I love the Studio Ghibli artwork headed towards the restroom area. Regarding the food, the tempura udon was phenomenal. I love that the broth was piping hot and very flavorful with the udon being perfectly cooked. The Tempura was also fried very nicely with the breading being very crispy, but not overly oily. The crazy dragon roll was also delicious. I was a bit hesitant at first at how large each bite was, but the balance of flavor between the eel and the crab was ideal. The taco sansai was my personal favorite since the texture of the octopus was perfect and the sweetness of the mirin added a nice balance to the salty flavor. We ended up having to send back the poke taco since it seemed like the masago was turning and it also lacked flavor which could easily be fixed with a bit of sesame oil the way poke is normally prepared. Although we didn't send back the Tuna Tataki Salad, it did arrive with quite a few rotted leaves which we ended up picking out (pictured). The vinaigrette dressing on the salad was delicious, though it would be better if it were tossed so it's coated evenly, versus drizzled on top. Seems like a great hidden gem and would love to give this place another try just at the fact of how great the service was.

Yelp
[Review is based on regular pricing, not happy hour pricing.] Overall, pretty disappointing after seeing the glowing reviews. The service was good but the taste was mediocre. Sushi combo ($35) - this was okay, some pieces were good and some (like the tuna) were not great. Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura - pretty tasty. They messed up our order and only gave us the Vegetable Tempura. After notifying them, they gave us the Shrimp Tempura on the house, which was nice. Yakitori (Sirloin and Pork Belly) - not good. I would expect this to be where they shine as an Izakaya but both skewers were dry and just not worth $4 per piece. Draft beer specials ARE a great deal, which is definitely a selling point.
