"An online party-favor retailer that offers small-run customized matchbooks at consumer-friendly prices (a 50-pack of customized matches was listed under $50 at the time of writing). Its affordable, ready-made options are positioned as thoughtful, unconventional gifts and favors—useful for birthdays, housewarmings, engagements, or hosts who want to give visitors a tangible keepsake from their home gatherings." - Bettina Makalintal

Yelp
With so many options to choose from when selecting a catering company (for an event, a shoot, a party, whatnot), where do you start? Well, how about with one that serves all fresh food, elegantly presented, that's delicious and served by a personable and knowledgeable staff? It's rare for me to find a catering biz worth commenting on, but really, compared to the offerings of many companies, who seem like they're just running through the motions, these guys actually stand out. They catered the premiere of the James Stouse-helmed Sundance winner, "Grace Is Gone" last night at the Academy Theater on Wilshire, and it was hard to tell whether there was a bigger crowd around John Cusack or the dessert table. The food was amazing, plentiful, and the bartender we talked to was not only friendly, but let us know that the entire staff tastes all the food so they can speak about it intelligently, a trait more commonly found at a fancy french restaurant than a buffet-style event for hundreds of people. Kudos! It's our party, indeed. -js
