It's Sugar is always a fun experience. If you love candy, you'll most likely find something you like (or a throwback reminding you of your childhood or other time in your life). The staff is always very helpful if you have questions. Definitely recommend you visit if you're in the Chinatown / Gallery Place area.

Great place to get any sort of candy. Although I kind of wish they were more selective in how they placed adult themed candy and toys in the shop.

Really fun and colorful candy shop. Their prices are a bit high if you're just looking for sugary goods, but are reasonable if you're looking for the rarity of items they have. They have some "adult" candies too that are amusing and sometimes alcoholic.

No gripes here at all! Fun candy store with everything that you're familiar with, along with unique versions of that same familiar stuff. I'll explain... So you like sour patch kids right? Well how about large sour patch kids. Perhaps a 3:1 ratio when compared to the regular sized ones. Or everybody likes gummy bears, but what about solid color swirled gummy bears that are strawberry lemonade flavored... Very very tasty might I add but sorry I dont have photos. There's so much more to this small, storefront shop. Packages of your favorite candy (like skittles) but in sizes too large for even Sam's or Costco. The list goes on, but check it out if you're in Chinatown district. Two thumbs up!

IT'SUGAR in Chinatown is a decent option for movie theater candy, but otherwise it just seems like... too much sugar. Prices aren't absurd, but nothing is terribly cheap, either. A good stop for stocking stuffers or novelty candy gifts. Checkout was quick.

It's Sugar is a cool little shop with a Wonka-esque variety of candy, though true to its name might be slightly more focused on sugar type candy than chocolate. They have a huge variety of types, but not typically more than a few varieties of any type of candy, i.e.three flavors of rock candy and only size variety in jaw breakers in bulk. As you would expect bulk candy is a bit expensive, but they have an Asian carryout themed to go box that can be filled for $15 flat, perhaps because they are located in Chinatown. There are also a wide variety of packaged candies, including retro ones. Customer service here is outstanding. This is a cool little shop to visit!

We went to the Gallery Place-Chinatown location and were waiting for 10:00 when the store was supposed to open and when 10:03 came I finally noticed a cashier come out and start counting down her till. I proceeded to make eye contact and smile hoping that it would spur some sort of reaction to open the doors and let us do our shopping but instead she continued to stare at the counter. As of this review it is now 10:10 and she still has not made a move to open the store or even lift a finger to let us know that it will be just one more minute. If such horrible customer service is considered acceptable, I wouldn't be surprised if this location closes down within the year. As of 10:13 still no attempt to open, so congratulations you lost your first sale of the day.
