Candy !! Candy !! I liked that they have sodas as well, and some Korean candy too. There is a good spot for getting a birthday present for a little kid, they also sell cute pillows and sweaters. Found the popular peelers that my kids love

Zakhia Living

Google
Great selection of Candy I felt like a kid in the candy store lol the staff was very friendly and helpful

Google
It's a very small location. I'm use to the massive ones. They didn't have the individual Sour Patch Flavor selections. They also didn't have the individual flavor Jelly Beans. But they did have my Alpine Gummies so mission accomplished for me. 😀

Google
Best place to find candy we used to buy in the penny store growing up 😁

I went here for my birthday and it was candy heaven. I wish I lived closer because this would be my every day candy store.

Google
Worst experience ever!! I usually like this place and never had a bad experience but when I took my brothers there on Saturday we had a horrible experience!! Its an older black woman in the store, she's on the bigger side and kinda short, My lil Brother was filling his bag up with candy and she rudely said "Ion know why you filling that bag up so much! It's $17 a pound you need to read and I'm not putting it back if y'all cant afford it so y'all go have to figure it out!!" I replied by saying "yeah we know" then she said "Cause y'all almost at 3 pounds and I'm sure y'all cant pay for 3 pounds!" I replied by saying ok and handed her the bag to check out she replied by saying "why you giving it to me to weight go weigh it yourself!! I replied to her and said "where the weight at so we can weigh it?? She said very loudly and rudely "it's right there on the table Folks acting so slow today!!" After we weighed the candy it was little over one pound and she still proceeded to ring it up as 2 pounds! And she didn't even say thank you after we paid!! I tried my best to not just walk out and leave the candy there!! Because she was so rude and I don't like to spend my money when there is horrible customer service!!! It was pretty obvious that she was raising her voice and trying to take advantage of us because we were young. Though this candy store did have cool things inside I definitely will not be coming back here!!

Yelp
They had very popular snacks but it's very pricey also the employees are kinda rude because i was with my dad and they kept on talking bad about my dad

Yelp
New location at Lenox mall. They just opened a few months ago. They are upstairs, near bath and body works and LUSH. Their other location is at Atlantic station. This location will be getting more stuff. But what they have will wow you. It's a great mix between nostalgia, adult and large sized fun candy. Large assortment of gummy items, and party size chocolates. The cereal candy will definitely be a conversation piece. Good prices. Can't wait to see what new products they have, I'm keeping my eye out for some of those candies we had back in the day. Better yet can we bring back the prices, $.01 candy. Just a thought. Lol

Yelp
I love coming to It's Sugar to get the Matcha Kit Kats! They're the only local place I know that sells them! While inside we always try a new candy or treat! They have a great selection of gummy's and sour gummy's. Cute little spot for a sweet treat!

Malik J.

Yelp
I just called to ask if they had jumbo lollipops for a child's birthday cake. I asked what size, respectfully, and the lady started getting rude randomly and said "you asked a question and I answered, I'm busy and not taking prank calls, goodbye" and hung up. Control your temper and let people have a chance to talk.

Yelp
Even though I live in Atlantic Station, it took me over five years to finally visit IT'SUGAR. To be honest, I'm kind of surprised this shop is still around with all the tenant changes Atlantic Station has made over the past decade. I already have too much sugar in my diet from general food and drink so I definitely don't need to be going to a store called IT'SUGAR. The fact that it's still in business shows that there is a demand for candy. That said, this is a pretty cool candy shop. If you like candy, this is the place for you. They sell funny gag gifts too. IT'SUGAR is a chain with over 100 locations across the country. This is the only location in Georgia and you can find it in Atlantic Station across from The Pig and The Pearl and Yard House. It has a corner storefront. Parking is free for the first 2 hours in the Atlantic Station parking deck. I recommend parking on level P2 (the lowest level) because it's less trafficky. If you park in the red area and take stairwell 1 up to the ground level, it will put you right in front of IT'SUGAR. This is a bright and very colorful little store with candy and wacky stuff galore. They have numerous self-serve bins of bulk candy from which you can create custom candy mixes. When we visited, prices were $3.49 for 1/4 pound, $6.98 for 1/2 pound, and $13.96 for 1 pound. Along with bulk candy, they sell packaged candy, from the popular mainstream candies to more unique novelty candies. Examples of the latter include candy sushi. I bought 2 packs of mini candy sushi for my nieces (Raindrops brand). They were assorted soft candies made to look like pieces of sushi and other Japanese foods like sesame balls and noodles. It was cute. They sell Japanese candy and collectibles too including Pocky and Ramune soda. Some IT'SUGAR-branded gag candy includes "Urine for a Treat" - urine specimen bottles filled with sour liquid candy that looks just like pee (gross) - candy bars called "Instant Dad Bod" (funny), candy bras and candy G-strings (haha). Examples of non-candy gag gifts include coffee mugs and socks with funny sayings and graphics, Dicks in Boxes (from Saturday Night Live), "Colon Blow" (no idea what that was), Bob Ross lunch boxes, and Bob Ross positive energy drinks. They have other neat odds and ends like products based on the Netflix series Stranger Things: Malted Milk Balls (with a Barb missing poster printed on the milk carton), My Little Pollywog (fruit-flavored gummy pollywog, yum), Stranger Things Eggo Card Game, and Stranger Things Gummy Waffles (ew). Along with the aforementioned candy sushi, we picked up some gummy worms and Sour Patch Kids by the pound. The gummy worms were delicious. The Sour Patch Kids were par for the course. For that candy lover in your life, you can pick up an IT'SUGAR gift card. Service was fine. If you're in Atlantic Station, this store is worth checking out.

Yelp
This shop has nearly every type of candy imaginable. My friend was amazed at how many nostalgic, hard-to-find candies were available. The cashier was friendly, helpful and personable. My only complaint is the pricing. The prices are very high, but I guess that is to be expected for a shop in the Atlantic Station. Small bags of candy which would cost $2.99 at Target or Walgreens cost $5.99 here. A small Laffy Taffy cost $2.99. The only reasonably priced item was the Pop Rocks. They charge $1.00 for a small package of Pop Rocks.
google avatar

Kiah R.

Yelp
If you want a variety candy & are in and/or near this is the place to go! They have everything from bulk candy to giant candy to chocolates, to different types of energy candy drinks, literally everything! If you have kids this will be their candy heaven! They have fun candy too like candy bras, gag candy some that looked like it was pee, funny sayings and candy I would say is more "adult" . It is pricey so be prepared for that & when I went there was no customer service so that was a bit irritating

Yelp
The workers are idiotic and mean. We walked in the side entrance that looked normal. The worker, instead of greeting us, said rudely "That's the wrong door. You should've entered everywhere." So we walked right out. (Out of the Right door of course.)

Yelp
Since I was out running an errand to Old Navy in my lunch break, I decided to run into the candy store because I really wanted some salt water taffy. Unfortunately, they don't sell salt water taffy. The employee said lots of people ask for it. I was disappointed but since there was a small line I did not have time to run across the street to the other candy store. I purchased some tootsie rolls which I paid way more than I would have at Publix, which is also across the street. The candy options, in my opinion were not great and were very expensive.

Yelp
It's definitely a store that you could easily end up spending $10 or more in, especially when the candy that you love will probably be by weight. Im a sucker for gummy bears, and they have a decent variety that you won't find in a standard store like grapefruit, champagne, energy drink, sour apple, blue raspberry, banana, tangerine and many others. There's also a decent variety of boxed candy and chocolate chocolate. I would definitely recommend people take a look around and challenge them to try to leave empty handed, lol!

Yelp
My nephew has a blast! He got so much candy, his favorite was the candy pizza. The staff was nice. It was so crowded and so little associates but it's candy so we didn't have a lot of questions about anything. They also offer military discount which is amazing and greatly appreciated.
google avatar

Yelp
I came earlier this evening as my last visit to this spot for a while since I travel and move a lot. My nephew was visiting so I promised him I would bring him. We got here and were promptly greeted which hadn't happened the last time we came. We've been here before. We looked around and then the young lady working asked if we needed help, my nephew asked for some pop rocks and she showed it to us. I am very critical of customer service but I was really touched by her attitude and willingness to help. I was so happy that I even offered a tip which she politely declined. I hope the manager reads this and commends her work performance. Thank you Kiara! You make me want to come all the way to Atlanta just for candy and the way you helped us out today. THANK YOU.

Yelp
It's honestly just not that good of a candy store. Not a lot of selection. I had my hands full so I asked the girl at the register to hold my stuff and she said yeah. Then we got home and realized she didn't even add the candy we brought to the counter. Stupid because now we aren't going back.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is waaaay overpriced!. For what I spent on jelly bellies, reeces, and Hersey's, I could have gotten double what I paid for somewhere else. They do have a lot of rare candy items that you can't get at another place but I don't see the justification in astronomical pricing. True, I was able to find jelly belly flavors I never knew existed and there were all sorts of things that were pleasing to my eye but I won't be back. Definitely overpriced compared to other candy stores I've been to.

Yelp
To all the kids out there... When your mom says you can only get one piece of candy, make sure you get it here. They have boxes of NERDS bigger than telephone books, candy necklaces the size of Hawaiian leis and candy bars as big as a forearm. They have a selection of international candies too. Their British Invasion section boasts "candies across the pond" like Maynards Wine Gums and Mars bars. Nearby are Japanese treats like Pocky, Ramune Soda and Litchi Gummy Candy. They also sell a lot of Saturday Night Live memorabilia. Most of it pertained to skits from the 90s and 00s (Spartan Cheerleaders, Ladies Man, Schweddy Balls) and I can't articulate the connection to sugar but it's fun. I think I saw a $15 box of Colon Blow cereal too. A couple things may put a damper on your time at this Candyland. They don't have nearly enough chocolate for my tastes. Also, the candy they do have is expensive. I don't like filling up a bag with bulk candy and having no idea how much it costs until I get to the register. Talk about sticker shock. There are rare candies (like candy-coated bugs) but many items can be found elsewhere at a better price.

Yelp
This store is awesome there's watermelon gummies shark gummies and a lot more this store is the best candy store ever
google avatar

Lynx M.

Yelp
Decent customer service and gouging prices! Lol the kids seemed to enjoy it. They have everything in here from nostalgic candy to creative candy. It's something in here for everyone, diffinitely worth checking out. 1/4 pound of candy will set you back $3.50. I spent $6 and some change on the guys in my life :-) my second visit here I spent $15 on candy, the shit adds up quick when you are a sampler like me lol I supposed that's not too bad for 4 bags of candy filled 1/2 up, the flavored gummies are great!! Yes yes I know what gummies are made from please don't remind me, but the mango gummy bears were official! The blue raspberry not so much.

Yelp
Gwen, one of your employees, was extremely rude. In fact, I almost walked out and didn't even buy what I had put in my bag. My little sister grabbed a giant jawbreaker and immediately after Gwen felt the need to tell us that it was about $5, so then my sister decided she didn't want it after realizing it was that expensive. Gwen then proceeded to say you can't do that and practically forced us to buy that jawbreaker and made some other rude comments. Poor poor customer service. Had a very unprofessional attitude. If you work at a job don't act like you hate it.

Yelp
Spencer's meets the most basic candy store, with a few supersized items here and there. It's fun and fleeting. Just like the sugar high you'll get when you make your own pixie sticks there with this complicated dispenser filled with over a dozen interesting flavors.

Yelp
Gotta have it really need it to get by: Sugar HIGH! This store is pretty AMAZING. I didn't know we had this kinda thing in Atlanta. Lotsa candy, candy-related gifts, GIGANTIC boxes of Nerds and Fun-Dip, "stuffed animal" Nerds, 1lb packages of Reeses Peanut Butter cups, Gummy EVERYTHING, non-pareils, Abba Zabba's ("You're my only friend!" - Half Baked!), crazy straws, marshmallow shooters, fancy solo cups on stems, and then some other novelty/gag gifts. Sugar free items, cupcake and donut shaped pillows, Hello Kitty PJs, pacifiers with mustaches, beer bottle shaped banks, candy cigarettes, candy buttons, Nik-L-nips (the soda shaped wax with juice inside), candy necklaces, squeezable edible gooo, pop rocks, rock candy, chocolate covered things, magnets, buttons, lollypops, headphones, superhero things, Ted bears (from the movie), Jawbreakers, Razzles, Tootsie pops as big as your head, and more more more MORE!!!!!!! BUT... no M&M's? Is that a license problem? Also not a ton of jelly beans.. just beer flavored (non-alcoholic). This place is more of a "pick it up off the shelf" kinda thing, rather than a "fill you bag from the plastic scoops and buckets on the wall thing like I would have hoped. BUT they are NOT kidding: IT'S SUGAR!

Yelp
I had to make a pit stop here on the way to a Halloween party to complete my costume (Candy Crush). I was on the hunt for some of those cute lollipops and some individually wrapped candy to put in a purse. The cute lollipops were easy to find. Individually wrapped candy, not so much. I finally settled on Starburst in the bulk candy bin. Yes, I paid about 10 times the going rate for bulk Starburst because I waited until the last minute to get my stuff. The store did save the day though. So hooray for that. This is a great place to find any type of candy you're looking for. They also have some cute kids type stuff (and completely adult appropriate as well). It is a bit high as far as price goes, but that's how candy stores are. Check out the candy underwear while you're in there.
google avatar

Jodi U.

Yelp
This store has a good, not great, selection of candy. It is very hard to find candy stores which buy candy by the pound. Sort of pricey but it is Atlantic Station.
google avatar

Ricky L.

Yelp
I love this place. I have to grab me a pound of gummy bears before every movie. The retro candies are the best but a little over priced to be honest. Nevertheless this place will help with those sweet tooth cravings.

Folarin A.

Yelp
I didn't realize that we could make up our own hours. I came at 9:40 (I know. 20 mins before closing was slightly annoying of me but I knew exactly what I wanted and had a bad day). The doors were locked and the clerk was already counting the register. The website says that you close at 10 and if that wasn't the case you need to update the hours. I called the store and she said we close at 9:30 today and hung up the phone. Rude and making up her own hours of operation. Isn't that something.
google avatar

Yelp
Cool place to satisfy your vintage and novelty candy needs. I was looking for C. Howard's Violet mints in particular. Remember those? Those things were awesome! It's a little pricey but I attribute that to the fact that it is in Atlantic station AND it specializes in novelty and vintage stuff that would be hard to find anywhere else anyway. Give this place a try if you've looked everywhere for a particular type of candy but couldn't find it. You can call in advance if you're unsure whether or not they carry something in particular and they'll gladly look.
google avatar

Lisa A.

Yelp
Lots to choose from, from small to XXL candy!. all to satisfy your sweet tooth needs. Staff is really nice!

Jakayla R.

Yelp
I have always been intrigued by this store. I went in to purchase a box of starbursts as part of a gift. The box was about the size of a cereal box and cost 13 dollars. Upon presenting my gift the recipient opens the boy to find that there is just a small bag of starburst in the box. The bad they gave me inside the 13 dollar box rentals for about 3 dollars at other stores. They trick you with large boxes but there's only a small amount inside.

BS K.

Yelp
Great selection of candies. This is a candy lovers haven. There's a wide selection that comes in a variety of sizes. Even hard to find or old school stuff.

C. S.

Yelp
I'm torn about this store. I want to like it from a retail concept standpoint (and because I like candy), but feel conflicted over what the store/brand is trying to be. Is it for kids? For adults? For teens? Having a 5lb gummy bear, giant size candy bars, and a candy necklace the size of a jump rope glistening in the windows of the brightly hued, modern looking establishment is eye catching. I've watched kids run into the street trying to make their way to Its Sugar. But I've also watched as parents tried anxiously to keep their kids away from the adult "novelty" items once inside. I don't know that I want my local sugar dealer slinging edible panties bedazzled with f-bombs right alongside my beloved blueberry flavored pop rocks. I mean there has to be some boundaries, right? In trying to be all things to all people, It's Sugar has a definite identity crisis. Being near a movie theatre, in Atlantic Station, and with such attractive decor - the obvious direction would be to focus on both the classic candy favorites and unique, hard to find, edible treasures that would give this place a point of differentiation. Ditch the silly stuff and non-edibles in favor of a memorable experience and bite size wonders. Also, the oversize stuff is neat. But not when it's just an oversized container filled with a bunch of standard size candy. That's basically called a piñata and is cheesy when presented as anything but. When Charlie visited the Chocolate Factory, you wanted to be there with him bc it was a candy dream land. When I spot a 2 ft tootsie roll in It's Sugar, I am intrigued and feel for a brief moment that I too, could be stepping foot into a sugary dream land. But when I learn it's just a 2 ft plastic shell that holds 1,000 regular sized tootsie rolls, I am disappointed. It's Sugar needs to sell the fantasy -- candy curiosities that excite, amaze, and create memorable, positive experiences in the store. That's what makes a relevant, successful brand who owns it's identity and a place in the hearts of Atlanta residents.

Rachael S.

Yelp
Parents do not take your children here!!! Profanity everywhere!! I was shocked!! They lure children in this store with candy then have the f, d, and b word written on merchandise all over there store. This was my daughter's first time in that store and it will definitely be her last. Can't imagine many parents wanting to take kids there. Good luck staying in business!!
google avatar

Sabrina W.

Yelp
Me and my friends stopped in here for the second time in a few months. The place is bright and pink. The store has all sorts of novelty candies from all around. They have 5lb gummi bears, pocky, candy band-aids, lollipops with scorpions in it, and much more. One thing though is when you getting out the buckets just check if they fresh and not stale. Its very nice over all for a candy store. Good variety and good for a sugar high.

Chris H.

Yelp
Wife and I were checking this place out as we have a 2 yr old and they sell hello kitty stuff. First impression was this is a kids paradise, candy everywhere, bright colors, kids brands. Then we start to see some kids clothes with profanity and sex references on them! I don't know if vulgar language is the new fad or what but this store is FULL of toys, clothes and novelties with cussing on them. This place needs to be shut down.
google avatar

Josh S.

Yelp
This place is pretty neat. A wide variety of sweets. I myself did not buy any, due to the fact that I am a man no self control and I'm trying to keep my dancers figure. My friends purchased some, though, and I indulged. It was awesome. They have other things, too...miscellaneous items such as t-shirts, cups, trinkets...all sorts of do-dads. Check it out. My only problem is it's pretty expensive for candy, in my opinion.

martha m.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in just to look at the huge boxes of Mike and Ike's, Nerds and Sugar Daddy pops. The store is really cute and a kid's dream, but when you go to the back of the store they have edible g-string underwear, socks that say "F*** it" written on them and several other items appropriate only for adults. I'm just shocked that someone would own a store that so obviously attracts young children then have adult novelty items so clearly visible to them

Falak L.

Yelp
*read 0 stars* There are only a few things that a customer requires, and a little respect is one of those things. The cashier that checked us out was beyond rude. She waved us over without any regard for customer service, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. When we asked her how she was doing, she started complaining about her job, and we pointed out that it is in fact her job to be polite to customers. This pushed her over the edge and she started arguing with us and creating a scene. We were getting ready to leave when I stopped to ask someone who looked like she was in charge to ask her the cashier's name. When Kiera (the rude cashier) saw this, she marched over and abruptly interrupted our conversation. Kiera literally said, "Get out!" I don't know about you, but that is one of the worst things you can say to a customer. This was one of the worst experiences of our lives. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to get yourself some candy unless you wish to be publicly humiliated by some rude, disrespect cashier. Grossly disappointed.
