"A new candy shop slinging Saturday Night Live-inspired candies, giant boxes of Nerds, and more over-the-top sweets will soon debut at Victory Park. It’Sugar, allegedly the “largest specialty candy retailer in the world,” will open its doors later this month. In Dallas, the shop will occupy 3,000 sugar-coated square feet, slinging its own candy options and SNL-inspired treats like Pete’s Schweddy Balls (malted milk balls with sea salt) and penis-shaped candies that are a nod to the show’s infamous “Dick in a Box” skit. In addition to the candy on offer, like all-marshmallow boxes of cereal, gummy pizza, and two-pound Rice Krispies Treats, the shop will also open its first ice cream counter in Dallas." - Amy McCarthy

So much sugar! Tons of sweet options for whatever you’re in the mood for. Whether it’s a giant sour patch kid, Stranger Things themed candy, or a loose assortment of candy, this place is for you. Located in victory park, so you can snack on some candy and walk around the area. A few cool ideas for gifts too.

Omg. Perfect location! I was walking in the neighborhood and stumbled on this gem. Such amazing customer service (shout out to Nick)! And tons of selection in the product.

The atmosphere the employees gave off was not welcoming at all. It was a pretty slow night so not many people were coming in so I took my time to look around, we were watched like hawks the entire time. Spent almost 40 dollars here and still caught the cashier Christopher signal to the other employee with neck tattoos to watch us even after we purchased. I recommend the candy shop in deep ellum, better prices and selection.

This is the cutest. If you're having a sugar crave, this is the place to get your sweet fix. They have all the throw back goodies that are no longer sold at your local convenient stores. I'm talking about Fun Dip, Pop Rocks, Jawbreakers, that Zebra gum, etc. They've also got a variety of gummy candies including flavors like gin and tonic and Moscow mule. I'd normally give this a 3 star rating given the hijacked prices ($3.49 for a king sized Snickers bar vs. $1.79 at your local convenient store). However, this place deserves a 4th star due to their customer service. There's the sweetest (no pun intended) guy that works there. I've only been to this place twice and the last time I was there, he not only recognized me, but remembered my name. Talk about the remarkable effort in getting to know your customers.

This is a very “adult” candy store. There are many items that children do not need to be exposed to, which, is evident in the previously posted pictures. Also, it is very expensive. Everything they sell can be purchased elsewhere for a lot less. If you want an “I remember when” moment, you might enjoy this place. However, nothing here is worth what they’re charging and it is definitely not family friendly.

It's very pricey, but the candies are pretty cute... It's a nice treat for someone if you can afford to pay their high prices.

Enjoyed going inside. Didnt feel rushed or out of place. A nostalgic feeling. First time in that neighborhood also. Definitely would love to bring my son here one day.

Cute product selection. Loved the tipsy scoop bar and all the themed flavors. Great place to stop in for gifts or a sweet treat.
