Super solid omakase for an amazing price! The first few dishes for me were the most memorable. We enjoyed all the courses and the final donburi was extremely aesthetic. The chef was super friendly as well :)

Sushi Itsumi was truly an unforgettable omakase experience. From start to finish, every detail was thoughtfully curated. The ingredients were undeniably fresh — each piece of sushi practically melted in my mouth. I especially appreciated the progression of flavors, starting with delicate, lighter bites and building up to richer, more complex dishes. The ambiance was intimate, allowing for a personal interaction with the chef, who was both knowledgeable and passionate about his craft. The service was impeccable—attentive yet unobtrusive.

Without a doubt, all round the best omakase i’ve had so far, without overly breaking my bank. Amazing food, experience and atmosphere 🤩 We made a reservation through Japan food guide, so we received an unexpected gift from them: premium rice vinegar and soy sauce, which was a pleasant surprise ☺️ (my phone photos dont do it justice, but some of my favourites from the night - also starred below) Our menu that night: 1 Uni, fatty tuna and caviar nigiri ⭐️ 2 Homemade Cheese and fish powder⭐️ 3 Madai snapper nigiri 4 Sword fish 5 Chinese veg and radish pockle 6 Spanish mackerel, truffle soup ⭐️ 7 Japanese shell fish ark clam nigiri 8 Baby tuna sashimi ⭐️ 9 Tuna nigiri 10 Chu-toro nigiri fatty tuna ⭐️ 11 Abalone deep fried with liver sauce and mixed rice ⭐️ 12 Sardine, white seaweed, rice and seaweed wrap 13 Tamago yaki 14 Tiger prawn nigiri 15 Contreal (eel) anago 16 Monkfish liver and pickled radish 17 Seafood bowl with tuna and egg foam, fish bone miso soup ⭐️ 18 Cold matcha salt ice-cream ⭐️

Affordable and value for money omakase from a TikTok rec. Not bad for the price but definitely can be better in terms of the finesse of each dish’s execution. Stand out dish was the fried abalone which was super tender and topped with rice mixed with the abalone intestines. The nigiri tasted more or less the same towards the end as all were just brushed lightly with the same soy finish. The last rice bowl felt like a combination of off cuts of sashimi mixed together, hidden behind a whipped egg white cloud and topped with yolk sauce. IMO, too runny of a texture for me. Dessert could be more well balanced with a lesser bitter matcha to icecream ratio. They have a weird policy to only letting in customers at their reservation time so we had to hang around outside in the cold for 15 mins before being led in (I understand it’s a really small space). All in all, great for omakase first timers. The younger sushi chef speaks a little English, hope he continues to hone his craft and manage to venture overseas to work!

5 star experience! My first omakase and gf and I went there to celebrate our anniversary, and very much enjoyed the whole experience. The meals were tasty, well presented and chef Chinose-san explained each course in detail. Highly recommend and would come back again!

The best value sushi 🍣 meal we had during our Tokyo trip. We were very lucky to be able to score a table for six of us for lunch. Every sushi is on point 🎯. The red vinegar rice is so well balanced with the sashimi to form such wonderful combination. We are still reminiscing our experience at Itsumi after we returned from Japan.
