this is my first time eating omakase, and i’m very impressed. the first sushi served was a tuna nigiri with sea urchin and black caviar. to me, it looked interesting, but once i ate it, it was delicious. i think its my favorite sushi. the other courses served were also delicious, but i’m not a big fan of the 3 piece sushi with tuna, pickles, and mint inside. the mint was too strong, destroying the taste of the tuna, and i absolutely do not like pickles. but, the other people i was with enjoyed it, so it really depends on what you like. the rice was soft and was specially tasty, even though was warm, and some people enjoy cold rice more for sushi. either way, i enjoyed the rice. the tamagoyaki is also very good, it was so fluffy and juicy. the staff is so kind and friendly, they were talking to us and made the sushi very profesional. the atmosphere was also nice and it was beautiful. i also really recommend the affogato at the end, because it was really tasty, and i didn’t even expect it. overall, this was a fun, amazing experience and i would love to come back. definitely worth it. 👍💯

Overall, not bad with a great selection of fish and friendly chefs. The first sushi could use a bit more uni to create a stronger “wow” opening. The sashimi was super fresh, and I really liked the rice seasoning. However, the final rice bowl felt a bit odd with the whipped egg white. It would’ve been better served with just a yolk instead.

Wow, this place is so good. I was scared to try the first sushi. After i tried it, it tasted amazing. The staff was extremely kind. Some of the sushi tasted interesting. But my favorite one was the tamagoyaki. Atmosphere was out of the world. Me and my family members had a blast in this place. But The tuna Japanese radish pickle and japanese perilla maki can be done better but other then that everything else was incredible even though it is expensive. Thanks sushi itsumi for everything

Real good value for so many courses and it's really fresh. Loved every dish and was so stuffed by dessert! Do check for the size of the rice bowl before u order as they are very generous in the portion. It comes with raw egg but u can request to not have it poured onto the rice.

Omakase with excellent variety and supreme taste. Each dish was made with care from an experienced chef of 30 year, with fish bought the same morning from Toyosu market. Extremely hospitable and kind staff, with an amazing sushi chef who took the time to explain every dish and get to know us. The chef made sure we left full – the tomato kake gohan with fish sealed the deal. Each dish was perfect and unique – I was very blessed to have this experience as my first omakase! Well worth the cost, so please reserve a few months in advanced!

Best Sushi 🍣 experience in Tokyo 🗼 The masterin has shared with me so much knowledge about food and culture in Japan alongside with introduction to all fishes she used. Such a warm hearted hospitality and profession. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 ありがとうございました✨

I’m not a picky eater, and anyone who looks at my other reviews will see that I almost always give five stars. That said, I felt it was important to share this experience. I’m not sure if it was an off night or an issue with the ingredients, but overall we were disappointed. The quality of the food and fish did not meet our expectations. Both my wife and I found ourselves wanting the meal to end sooner, as each course was less enjoyable than the last. Unfortunately, we also felt unwell afterward, which was surprising, as this is the first time that has happened to us after two weeks of eating in Japan. The tuna was the most enjoyable item, likely because it’s difficult to get wrong. The chef was polite and reserved, but I did notice that the same cloth was used throughout the meal to wipe plates, the chef’s hands, and the knife, which raised some hygiene concerns for me. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, but in our opinion, the experience did not justify the price. For an omakase priced over ¥20,000, we expected a higher and more consistent level of quality. Unfortunately, this was our least enjoyable meal during our time in Japan.

Super solid omakase for an amazing price! The first few dishes for me were the most memorable. We enjoyed all the courses and the final donburi was extremely aesthetic. The chef was super friendly as well :)
