An absolutely fantastic curry restaurant in Tsukiji. The curry here is wonderful—thick, rich, and deeply flavourful. The rice was one of the best we had in our entire trip to Japan. Cooked in a special pot, it has the most perfect texture and a delicious flavor all on its own. The service was also friendly and impeccable. We arrived at 8 AM and got seated right away, but a line was already forming by the time we left. A must-visit experience!

This curry restaurant serves rich, flavoursome curry that is the perfect accompaniment to freshly cooked rice. While the kitchen operation may appear inefficient, it is actually well organised: with only two staff members, they manage orders efficiently through pre-preparation and smart workflow. Service is minimal, but understandable given the limited staff and the constant flow of customers. Prices are on the high side, but the quality, location and meticulous preparation justify the cost. The atmosphere is that of an upmarket social lounge for affluent diners, offering a quiet and refined dining experience.

The curry and rice were quite good, but the overall dining experience was disappointing. The waitress displayed a noticeably bad attitude, which felt discriminatory toward non-Japanese customers. We were rushed to place our order immediately after receiving a full-page menu with detailed instructions—barely any time to read or decide. While the food was enjoyable, the unprofessional and unwelcoming behavior from the staff created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Went on a Sunday. Incredible curry and hayashi rice—absolutely worth the wait! A friend brought me here, and we arrived around 11 AM. The wait was about 45 minutes to an hour, partly due to the rice cooking time (approximately 20-30 minutes). During the wait, a staff member came out to take our order, including our choice of special rice. By the time we were seated, our portions were ready to go! Keep in mind, food preparation still takes 20+ minutes, even with pre-ordering. The curry and beef were exceptionally fragrant and tender, truly melting in your mouth. I highly recommend trying their special rice (even if it costs extra)—you can genuinely taste the difference compared to the standard rice. My favorite was their Hayashi sauce though! If I’m ever in Tokyo again, I’ll definitely revisit this place. Next time, I’d just make sure to arrive earlier to beat the queue!

This Ginza restaurant specializes in Wagyu beef curry with a choice of beef chunk or hashed beef options, but it fell short of expectations. While it's interesting that each customer receives a personal pot of freshly cooked rice with a choice between three types (I went for the YUKITSUBAKI at an extra 150 yen), the curry itself leaned heavily on sweetness, lacking the spice kick even at a medium level. At 1,650 yen, the portion of meat felt a bit skimpy for the price. With a manageable lunch queue but an overall underwhelming experience, it’s probably not a place I'd revisit.

Our first breakfast in Tokyo and Japan. As others have said, maybe go 1 level lower on spice than you think you can handle, we ordered 3 and my partner struggled but I absolutely loved it. The food was very very tasty, the staff were helpful, the only thing I could have asked for was a little more beef, however I understand for the quality the price was good. Just one note is they only accepted card when we were there, but that's not a problem for most peoplee

Delicious with many spicy options fit for everyone. Would recommend level 0 for those not used to spice based on our group’s experience. For those that enjoy spice, the highest levels are delightful.
