Google
The food, drinks, and hookah were excellent. I would have loved to give a 5-star rating, but a few things prevented me from doing so. We were a party of three and requested to sit in a booth. However, the waitress informed us that hookah could not be smoked indoors and was only allowed at high-top tables. We then asked if we could be seated at a regular indoor table instead of the heated patio, as we really liked the ambiance, but our request was denied. Later that evening, we noticed two guests seated indoors at a regular table smoking hookah. I believe the rules should be applied consistently to all guests. Other than that, everything was great.

We went for our friend’s birthdays, it’s one of her favorites! Such an incredible meal, the flavors, the quality of everything, was excellent! Definitely get the mixed grill, it was so delicious and a nice mix of several meats and grilled veggies. I only stopped eating because I couldn’t eat anything more. Great attentive service, and cocktails were top-notch!

Google
Ivy is such a beautiful chill spot hidden in the DMV area. Our server Stephanie was such a great and welcoming waitress. She was friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. The food was so delicious and the hookah was perfect. I will definitely come back again :)

Google
What a find! Came here instead of our usual hookah spot and I was blown away. Service, food, atmosphere and drinks are top notch. The crowd here on a Saturday night took the experience to the next level. Can't wait to come back. I'm adding this place to my list to come back to often. You will not be disappointed!

I had a wonderful dining experience at IVY by The Lake Restaurant! ♥️🤩 The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual yet elegant night out. The staff were incredibly friendly, ensuring we were well taken care of. I ordered the Mantu, and it was absolutely delicious—steamed dumplings with tender lamb and a rich yogurt sauce. The grill platter was also fantastic, with juicy grilled chicken and flavorful vegetables. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be back!🤩

Google
The customer service is excellent—attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and I really appreciate the option to add sides. They offer a wide variety of drinks, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I’d recommend the Pineapple Malibu—it's light and very refreshing.

Google
This place has a wonderful ambiance. The scenery was pretty and photogenic. Stephanie was our server. She did wonderful the entire time ensuring we were satisfied the entire time. The food was great as well! Drinks were definitely on point. I’ll be returning again with my friends

Google
I recently dined at Ivy by the Lake in Sterling, VA, and it was a delightful experience. The combination of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors was exceptional, and the ambiance—overlooking the serene lake—added a special touch to the evening. The service was both pleasant and efficient, making the night even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Ivy by the Lake for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.

Yelp
Food and drinks were fantastic all the meats were seasoned well and very tender. Service was great as well.

Yelp
food was amazing and came out quickly! Good ambience and great vibe. Really great service and cocktails.

Aneela H.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience and our server made great recommendations. The food was awesome I highly recommend getting the mixed grill! After 10 they have a DJ and it turns into more lounge vibes! Great for celebrations!

Jackie C.

Yelp
Well for one, our server knew what alma mater was so that was great. Also, the food was really great. The outdoor area is surprisingly super warm for the middle of the winter! Highly recommend.

Lynne S.

Yelp
I was in the area over the summer and decided to try this place. It was nestled in the back of a few buildings but opened up to a lovely lake! The ambiance was absolutely lovely! So pretty! The view of the lake was very romantic! We ordered hummus, chicken kabob and a beef dish that were decent. It was more about ambiance and catching up with an old friend. Lovely place to meet for happy hour! The service was okay as well. Nothing spectacular except the views and all of the lovely floral decorations!

Yelp
I attended a Company Holiday Party for my husbands work here. The food is middle eastern cuisine and it tasted absolutely delicious! We were supposed to have an open bar starting at 6pm but ended up getting charged for our first two drinks even though it was after 6pm. Service and drinks were awesome after that! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves at this restaurant!

Yelp
I had high hopes for Ivy By the Lake, but this was easily one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely terrible--cold, tasteless, and honestly, it tasted like it came straight out of a can. The cocktails were club quality cocktails--those who know, know. For the prices they charge, especially for a refined Valentine's Day menu, I expected something fresh and flavorful. Instead, I got bland, poorly prepared dishes I wouldn't even serve at home. Additionally, the vibe of the establishment is confusing. This place needs to make up its mind on whether it's a mature lounge, an upscale restaurant, or a young people's club. This place is a prime example of social media polishing a turd--but unfortunately, it's still a turd!

Yelp
The snow and ice in the parking lot didn't make for a nice trek behind the building, but restaurant had it adequately salted and cleared. There was no safety concern. Only concern was my elderly mother having to climb a bunch of steps to get to the front door. It's okay she tends to complain a lot. The food was great. We ordered the HH chicken bites, tzatziki, hummus, mantu, bread, battata hara potatoes, tabbouleh, and a mixed grill with chicken tikka, chicken kabob, kofta, hanger steak, veggie kabob, and pickled vegetables. The food was shared between 5 people and we had leftovers. Sorry I forgot to take picture of the appetizers!

Vineela G.

Yelp
Ambiance: lovely interiors, with lots of green every where. Service was prompt despite the place being packed. If you are looking for a quiet dinner on a weekend, please avoid this place. We went there on a Friday night and it was super loud. Food: We had baba Ghanoush, falafel and Chicken kabob for dinner. Baba Ghanoush was served with a bread and it was delicious, one of the best I've had. Falafel was really good too, can be a repeat order. Chicken kabob was okay at best. The salad and rice that came with chicken kabob were good, but the chicken itself felt like could have been better. It was chewy and rubbery. Parking: This space has combined parking lot for the 2-3 restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Awesome food and service! Love the drinks - saffron gold was the best drink and so was the Istanbul nights

Shaquille J.

Yelp
This is a great place to come for a birthday event. They have the main things your looking for in a place you wanna celebrate your big day at: food, great music, good drinks, and hookah! Lol The service here is pretty quick for the most part. The only thing I didn't like was having to sit in the outside patio area. We made the mistake of not making a reservation on the weekend, and we had to sit at a table on the patio. They had heat lamps, so it wasn't too bad, but it looked much more fun/engaging inside. The food wasn't bad, I just feel that the fries could've been crisper. I think I would come back here. All in all, the bill for five people, using the late night menu with hookah and drinks, came out to about $230 ish. Give this place a visit and tell me what you think :).

Laura S.

Yelp
The ambiance and flavor and passion is a superb combination! Our server Linda was very responsive and helpful. We had 2 appetizers and the eggplant and chicken kabob. All were excellent. 5 stars!

Billy V.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday to watch NBA at night. Sat outside and there was heaters with a beautiful view of a lake. Asian girl waiter was extremely good (forgot her name). She was on top of everything, drink refills, utensils, checks, and coming to see how we were doing. I didn't like the kofta as much. Not sure what the base was I think it was corn or something but it was over buttered. I prefer rice with kofta. However the French fries were so fresh, flavorful and crunchy. Beautiful ambiance of course

Jessica A.

Yelp
I have only gone for the happy hour but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Food & hookah are great!

Keith P.

Yelp
Decided to give this establishment, a try. Sat at the bar with a very engaging gentleman bartender, the food was exemplary and the service spectacular. Probably the best LAMB stirfry I have ever had... And I'm old so I've had a lot of them LOL

Tammy C.

Yelp
Went for a friends birthday outing and we went later in the evening so we had small plates of food and they did hookah. We sat in the patio section and music was loud. Didn't get the dancing vibe and got more of a lounge vibe. Good vibes over all though. Good place for a birthday!

Yelp
(From May 2023) Heard mixed reviews about this; decided I had to check it out for myself. My friend and I rolled here after a round of golf on a Thursday afternoon in May for some hookah and eats. We're thrilled with what we found and this will be on our rotation for spots to visit when I'm back in the Loudoun area. They do hookah, have a full bar, and a solid food menu. Happy hour Tuesdays-Fridays from 4-7PM which has food/drink specials. Fortunately we arrived around 530ish so we got to work with the brussels sprouts, fried shwarma bites (fried chicken tenders), and the batata harra (fried potatoes) which were on the happy hour menu. Also order a few ol' fashioneds ($4 off at happy hour) and the watermelon mint hookah ($25 at happy hour). All the food dishes were amazing with the spices and sauces especially the brussels sprouts with it's pineapple chutney. The Ol Fashioneds have a cool presentation where it's delivered smokey after removing the wooden chute on top. The hookah was smooth and easy as well. We were still hungry afterwards so we went with the beet hummus and the sliced hanger steak. The hummus had a nice kick to it and I dig the beet flavor. Hanger steak was extremely tender and the chimichurri and tomatoes on top was a nice presentation. We also got some martinis to wash them down. A very satisfying meal after a day of golf! One of the perks is the patio area as you get a nice view of the lake. They have QR menu codes you can scan at the outside tables and the area is covered for those bad weather days. You can't beat the view as you smoke your hookah, sip your drink, and converse with the other parties. Our server was always there to take orders and get what we needed so we weren't empty handed on anything further enhancing our time there. It's tricky to find this place as the entrance is along the trail behind two other restaurants. There's signs that will direct you; FOLLOW THE SIGNS! Cause you won't regret the food/drinks/hookah and gorgeous lake views!

Yelp
The ambience, food and service were excellent. Loved the Baklava dessert. Great place to celebrate with friends

Jessica W.

Yelp
We wanted to try everything and that's pretty much what we did and everything was delicious. A run down of what we got. Started with pita bread and had to pick three spreads. The spreads we went with were Baba Ghanoush (Finely Chopped Roasted eggplant, olive oil, lemon juice and tahini), Roasted Beet Hummus (Savory Chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon juice, garlic, labneh and pureed red beets) and Cacik (Turkish yogurt with cucumber and herbs) Mezza: Batata Harra (fried potatoes tossed in an irresistible fragrant peppers and spices), Crispy fried cauliflower (tender bites of breaded cauliflower served with creamy ranch and juicy pickled bell peppers), Crunchy Chicken Wings (perfectly deep fried battered wings with soy garlic. For the main course we did the Feast Option which consists of Beef Kofta, harrisa bbq chicken, hanger steak, chicken kabob, cilantro toum, harissa, garlic toum We wanted to do the Tableside chicken shawarma experience but heads up, you must put in this request 24 hours in advance.

Donyiel C.

Yelp
Finally, I made it here. One of my fellow foodies and I have been following Ivy on IG since they opened just over a year ago. Disappointing experience though. Made reservations online. I read that we needed to call 24 hrs ahead to request the tableside "feast" experience. Honestly, I can't say it was worth it for the price. It comes with a sauce and bread, a mezze, fries and chicken swharma. We got the hummus, brussels. It was just ok. Not the best I've had! Drinks were not strong. Granted I may have a higher tolerance than the average drinker but I literally felt nothing after two cocktails. Like was there alcohol in them?! I got the safari mezcal and spicy margarita. The decor is cute. Definitely IG worthy. The service wasn't bad. Our servers were friendly and engaging. We sat inside, but I'd come back for happy hour and sit outside by the lake. For less than what we paid here, could have gone to Fogo. Yep, that's it.

Shari D.

Yelp
After seeing so many posts on IG, we had to try it out. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday and I wasn't as impressed with the setup. Drinks were good, I tried Red Sea Margarita and the food was really tasty, I enjoyed the Mantu dumplings and nibbled on their pita platter. Tons of flavors! My biggest complaint was their service, we made reservations (easy to do) and were seated near the door. It was like that seat made us invisible, we put orders in and had to wait 20+ minutes for our orders, (it wasn't packed, we arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night) which was bizarre. Videos made this place look super impressive, but it wasn't worth the drive from DC.

Ak S.

Yelp
Awful food. Smelly chicken wings cold steak absolutely awful food. Service is fine. But the food is just the worst i have had in any restaurant in northern virgina!

Arista W.

Yelp
This place is beautiful! Perfect photo opportunities if you're into that and of course it's by a lake. The staff is very friendly, and the food was pretty good. We tried a bunch of appetizers and I tried their cheeseburger and truly enjoyed it. The dj arrived around 10 and got the place hype. It was surprisingly empty when we went but that's cool because it made the staff just that more attentive. I didn't get any pictures of the food because we were so busy having a good time but here's a picture of me lol.

Dakota M.

Yelp
My husband just got back from a trip from dulles, so we decided to head over as a family to this cool find. The experience was awesome. We arrived right when they opened and sat in patio area. We had a kiddo with us, so that worked out entertaining them with with wildlife from the pond. The workers were super nice and lowered the music level outside so it was enjoyable to eat and talk. We saw they had a happy hour and started orderng drinks and food alike. We tried multiple cocktails, I really enjoyed the egg white rasperry cocktail. The bartender even offered a blueberry version, which I tried, but didn't care for as much. We ordered schwarma bites, fallafel, humus, lamb, brussels, pita, etc. I really liked how the servers were able to accomidate, and offer some celery with humus, as I prefer celery and the kid should eat more wholesome food. Our favorite item ended up being the humus. Fallafel and lamb were out of stock when they first opened, which is a bummer, but not bartenders fault. This is a huge reason why 4 instead of 5 stars. The bites were meh, uneven on texture between the four bites. The experience when they first opened was lovely. Attentive service, great outdoor space, atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I liked the variety of food on the menu and that they had a happy hour. It was a good experience with a kid, and it was super fun bird watching and watching the ongoingings of the pond. I would def come again and bring more friends to try all the goodies!

Yelp
Super Cute Place! Entrance was rather weird! Keep in mind they're located in the BACK of the two restaurants you'll see in the front. Please take the sidewalk entrance under the Ivy By The Lake sign...and not the lil ramp that doesn't have stairs! The bitter heart was a boring drink but the "peche my butt" made up for it. The prawns appetizer was good...steak was rather not...majority of the steak was burnt and we ordered medium rare. The cauliflower appetizer stole the show! The lobster risotto was good!!! The s'mores addition was super cute especially if it's your birthday....they add nice additions to make you feel special and maybe even a free birthday shot =) Definitely will go back! Service was good...I'm my opinion could've been better due to our waitress not being knowledgeable to give us recommendations

Mayada Z.

Yelp
This place is really the best place at the area.. I went there after a long around chantilly then we decided to get some drinks and desserts. The manger AK and the server Ramina gave us the best service that made us planning to go back there soon any time we have a free time. They have every Thursday cigar gathering and dj every Thursday. You guys gotta check this place out. High recommend

Negar M.

Yelp
Amazing place with excellent hookah, good ambiance, heated outdoor area, and good music! They also provided good service.

Trendy D.

Yelp
I came here with the ladies for brunch and I loved it! We made a reservation but it wasn't overly busy for a Sunday at noon. Ambiance here is always perfection! The food "bottomless brunch" is $35. Although, it's really not bottomless and not worth $35. You get one starter and one entree for that price. You can add bottomless drinks for an additional price. The fries were really good Brussels sprouts here are delish The chicken and waffles are not bad but didn't wow me The hummus and pita is always a slap ! Service was alright, not that great. The patio is heated and closed off in the winter which is nice

Jacquie G.

Yelp
Hey Loves, I finally went to this lovely establishment. I loved everything about it except me walking up 10 stairs ( don't judge me, heels have feelings too) The staff is very friendly and attentive. We decided to sit on the patio portion of the restaurant, so we could overlook the water. It was a beautiful day, even though it was raining. The good thing about this restaurant is a little rain , does not take away from the ambience. They have electric shutters that go up or down to ensure you have the option to use the patio year round. Oh and for us girls who stay cold, it's heated as well. We came on a Friday night because the DJ starts playing at 10:30. So the moment you been waiting for; Dang the food. We ordered: the following below. The food was amazing. I have no complaints. Spicy Harissa BBQ Half Chicken seasonal pickled vegetables & toum Mixed Grill Beef Kofta, Harissa bbq Chicken, N.Y Strip, chicken kabob, cilantro toum, harissa, & pita bread

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Middle Eastern & Mediterranean Cuisine... A beautiful gem in Sterling, VA (yes Sterling) and the food didn't lack. We started with the cauliflower and hummus, followed by the NY Strip & BBQ Chicken. Accompanied by the Red Sea Margarita. I can say everything served here has an element of spice to it, but I love spice! They also have a late night menu (which includes hookah), I might have to try it out when I want to make the drive again. Service 5/5 Drinks 4/5 Food 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 (could've been perfect if that drive wasn't so long )

Matthew R.

Yelp
This place likes to think itself on trend but, like it's bartender, it just doesn't show up. The food is pretty good but the service is very lack luster. Oh hell, it's meh at best. The ambiance is pretty cool and if you like an older crowd trying to relive thier glory days, this place is for you. Also, the bar here is pretty great, though you will have to wait like 45 min to get a drink. Busy!?! Naw, they just don't care. I stood there and watched 50% of the bar left unattended for like 15 min. All in all If you like an older crowd and want to be ignored, this is the place for you.

Owais A.

Yelp
First time at this place and our server Linda did an amazing job. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend this place 10/10

Priya R.

Yelp
We didn't even eat here because the service was just that bad. We were seated immediately and then waited 20 minutes without a single waitress coming by to take our orders. We left without ordering after we even tried to wave down a few waitresses to get their attention and take our orders.

Monai D.

Yelp
Was nervous about trying Ivy after reading some of the previous reviews, but I had a good experience here. Had reservations for 7:30 on a Sunday night and was seated immediately. I was here for a birthday celebration, which I wrote on my reservation, and the manager brought us two rounds of free shots for the occasion. Ordered the Mixed Grill ($68), which I thought was a good choice. A plate of different meats and sauces. The harissa chicken was my favorite. I will say I don't like that it didn't come with any sides- for the price I feel like it should come with at least one side, but it's whatever! I ended up ordering Brussel sprouts, they were alright- nothing to rave about. We also did the hookah. I was shocked that it was only $35 because I read a review that said it was $50. One con is I asked for water upon arrival and didn't realize I was paying for an $8 dollar bottle of water. But it's all good. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and the location is so low key!

Jisoo B.

Yelp
Where to begin! Such beautiful vibes and esthetics but backed up by the tasty Mediterranean cuisine! Ivy esthetics by the lake! Outdoor heated patio is a hookah lounge. At night on weekends this place is a club, apparently. The hummus bowl, khlouash salad and spicy beef patties are a complete course to follow. Periodt. I even made a tik tok video. Need I say more? We came during an early Easter Sunday dinner so it was empty but really good place for brunches, gatherings or any kind.

Deepa J.

Yelp
I have been going to this place when it was Mist , it was much lively place. Post Pandamic it is converted to a Brunch place. The concept and place is beautiful it the service and food is not. Apart, from having a reservation they didn't keep the right table for us. The server got us our bottomless Mimosas after 1 full hours or ordering. The starter pastry platter came in short of food as the waiter was confused, promised us that they will get the rest but never did. The. Then main meal was completely tasteless !!! 2 items on the menu were good ... Their Arugula Salad and Brussels Sprouts Pineapple side dish. We were looking forward to having a good after at this place but the service and food were disappointing. Positive note ... The place looks beautiful !!

Atisha A.

Yelp
We got the unlimited menu which is one shared plate of spreads, one appetizer and one main. I thought the main chicken and waffles were good but the hummus and other spreads really fell short. Aside from one kind waitress the staff didn't seem too interested in helping. The outdoor seating area is nice but not sure I would return.

Nancy M.

Yelp
Heard a lot of good things about Ivy so we finally decided to check it out. Super cute inside, very instagrammable! They have a DJ which is nice. The vibe is definitely there, but they have a lot of work to do. The place was empty when we went at 1pm on Sunday, only 5 tables were full. So why was service so bad? Drinks took forever to get to our table, some of the food got there before drinks. The drinks were also very watered down. One friend ordered 8 of the peaceful melon and didn't feel a thing. These cocktails tasted more like mocktails. They look our food order which included the pastry board, a mezze, and entree. Again let's talk about the service and kitchen. They brought out one pastry board and one Brussel sprouts and we didn't see anything else for 10 minutes. Then half the tables entrees came out before the mezze did. Everything came out randomly and some people were waiting for their food while others finished their whole meal. This isn't okay! My biggest feedback is timing for the kitchen. Something needs to be fixed. Okay so was the food good? Yes, but nothing amazing. Our group thought Ivy just opened up which is why service was terrible, but found out it's been opened for 7 months. Time to fix things!

Chelsey J.

Yelp
Came in when the restaurant first opened. We were the first ones there. It is a very clean establishment. & I loved their music selection. My spouse and I ordered 3 things in total. Two off of the mezza selection and one main entry and split everything. We ordered the N.Y. Strip, shrimp, and lamb. The lamb fell right off of the bone and that was the best garlic shrimp I have ever had. It was a little pricey but It was very fulfilling. We were both full by the end of our date. Overall, I enjoyed this place. The service was good, food was great, and the restaurant was very clean and had its own unique look.

Selka J.

Yelp
Had a happy hour with friends at Ivy. The location was little tricky. Had to go down stairs and behind a banquet hall to get to the restaurant. The decorations were beautiful and the service was very pleasant. The drinks we all had were very delicious and strong. Everyone was happy with their drink. We only tried appetizers. I have to make a trip for actual dinner. The appetizers I really liked. Batata Harra (Spicy potatoes) fried shawarma bites and crispy fried cauliflowers. Scrumptious.

Sherryl D.

Yelp
Usually go next door, so glad we tried Ivy for our happy hour escape. Absolutely wonderful happy hour bites and appetizers. We had shwarma bites, tzatziki with The Most Amazing fresh, hot, homemade pita bread, olives, mantu (steamed dumplings), and prawns. Weather on the patio was perfect, service was fabulous. I think we'll start rotating being Ivy & Bungalow Lakehouse now.

Camaren C.

Yelp
Ivy by the Lake offered a beautiful dining experience with a great ambiance. I was very impressed on the interior design. My experience was great despite a slight hiccup in the initial service (not greeted/served water. Waited for 20 minutes) after waiting we then moved to the bar which was self seating. The attentive staff at the bar provided a delightful experience. The fresh pita bread with hummus and baba ghanoush, had exquisite flavor, very authentic. The Tandoori BBQ Stir Fried Lamb and Hangar Steak with cilantro chermoula drizzle were amazing, went great with the great cocktails. Fattoush salad was 10/10. The overall environment makes it a perfect spot for a date night. Despite the initial lapse, I had a great time and do recommend Ivy by the Lake.

Azar A.

Yelp
Excellent service, the waitress Ramina, was very attentive, and went out of her way to take care of our group. Food was amazing as well I highly recommend this place Music needs to be much better, for dancing. Maybe a DJ change is in order

Jay P.

Yelp
A "DC" place in NOVA, finally! When I think of DC, I think of an array of young and trendy places to wine, dine, and chill for Millennials and Gen Z-ers; unfortunately, when I think of Northern VA not many places comes to mind. This place changes that. Ivy By The Lake is unique, hidden, atmospheric, dynamic and cool. It's rooftop-outside vibe is awesome. The indoor vibe is also cool; reminds me of places in Hollywood-West Hollywood in CA. Service is excellent. The young guys who work here are both friendly and accommodating, and so much so, they could might as well join you at your table. Although I can't say much for the food - I only ordered an appetizer - it was pretty decent. Some of the price points didn't seem justified (olives and others on the menu). Overall, this restaurant/lounge overseeing the lake is a gem and one-of-a-kind in NoVA. If you are young and looking for something trendy, definitely visit.

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Went for their happy hour 4pm-7pm and was pleasantly surprised by portion size of dish. Highly recommend the pita pocket and cauliflower. Went on a Tuesday late afternoon. Tons of seating available, music volume was low enough to have conversation.

Danny J.

Yelp
On the cusp of a 3.5 stars. There is potential here. I decided to take my wife here for a birthday dinner. We had a reservation on a Saturday night. The restaurant entrance kind of on the side and you could miss it if you aren't paying attention. When you first walk in the front section is where they have hookah. The restaurant definitely have a chic lounge vibe and I feel they cater more to the lounge parts then the restaurant part. The tables are too small to hold any much food or drinks. When we we got seated, it took a while for a server to come around to take our order. This was pretty much the theme of service for the night. The server was nice, but never really came around. We got a beer and a Red Sea margarita, which was pretty good. For food we got the mix grill and the falafel. The meat platter was pretty good and the pita that came with it was the highlight. The falafel was pretty dry and didn't have much taste. I wanted the Brussels sprout which I originally ordered, but when I asked why it was not brought out, the server said they ran out. However, she never told me. When we were done eating and just waiting for a server, she never came back to ask if we wanted dessert or anything else. It's neat you can pay your tab through your phone. Here's my gripe about this place. The service was so slow. Every time I needed something I had to flag a server down, even if I wanted to order more drinks, I was put off. Also, I am assuming it's cold so they didn't open the doors for the hookah, but the smoke was coming into the restaurant. Lastly, my complaint when we sat and the server asked if we wanted water, she offered still or sparking. I don't mind if you charge but let me know ahead so I don't wonder why I'm getting charged $8. Like I said, I see potential but this is DC prices in Sterling. I'm glad the option exist though. If I were to come back, it would probably be just for drinks. Although, they do need to work on the service.

My bestie, her son, and I went for brunch. The frozen Margarita was great! We got the brunch bundle - Arugula Salad, Sumac Fries, two orders Chicken and Waffles, and an the Cardamom French toast for the kid. The food was delicious although I wish we got a bigger portion of the pastry board for the table. It's really nicely decorated and music was great but really loud so it was difficult to have a conversation. Our waitress was nice but the kitchen was backed up. The last entree came out an hour after the first entree. I got pics of everything but the entrees because I was so hungry by the time they came It was worth the wait because it was the best waffle I've ever had!

Yelp
Aesthetic View Customer service This place was fantastic! I was so excited to see a place set up so well in Virginia. I was visiting family and I finally found this beautiful restaurant. I cannot wait to visit when it's warmer. It's literally on the lake and it is so beautiful inside and out. The food was so delicious, we stopped by to snack but we kept getting seconds so we were stuffed. Kimberly was our waitress and she was awesome. I had her choose my drink for me and she did phenomenal. Thank you Kimberly. My friends and I truly enjoyed our time here. I recommended to to my family as well since they live so close to it. Highly recommend. It was an awesome time.

Yelp
The food was amazing! The risotto was so flavorful and the red sauce that the manager recommended took it over the top. It has a great layout and the vibes are immaculate!
