Google
Really solid brunch and lovely atmosphere. The sandwiches were particularly notable, as was the lemon ricotta pancake. Could also imagine that the patio is great for warmer weather. Would definitely return.

Google
Amazing tomato soup, some of the best we’ve ever had. The grilled cheese was also scrumptious. The daily local veggie & egg scramble was good but a little over-cooked & the only vegetable was spinach. The potatoes are fingerlings & yams pan fried with fresh rosemary. Simple & tasty. Really friendly waitstaff too. And they have oat milk for coffee 🥰

Google
One of my favorite breakfast spots in Denver. I've tried so many menu items and they are all great! The people who work here are just so lovely and I will always be a customer here.

Google
This is a popular place for Saturday brunch which of course means “spectacular service”, “proper pricing” and “fantastic food” …..I got a seat at the bar with no waiting…..I had the baby black tuscan kale salad which was bountiful

Google
Delicious breakfast sammy and fresh fruit. Latte was wonderful but Bloody Mary was a little thin. Service was great and we’ll be back

Google
Had an amazing brunch here. Great with COVID adjustments, safety precautions, and social distancing. Mike was our server and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Breakfast happy hour was a steal. Definitely coming back.

Google
Such a unique little spot here at the Ivy on 7th. Went here for brunch the other day. Ordered the avo toast with a fried egg on the side. Pretty classic order. Service was great too! Our waitress was very peppy and fun to chat with.

Google
Ivy is my favorite brunch spot in Denver. The Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes are out-of-this-world. Make sure to request extra blueberries and order to share! Solid Bloody Mary, good balance of spices. They come with the proper mini mug beer chaser. DO NOT sleep on their Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Chip Cookies, order those to go for a post-brunch snack.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and huge portions. We enjoyed our visit to this Denver treat. Nearby street parking.

Yelp
I got the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was underwhelming. Even with drenching it in cholula, it was still meh Got a free pancake that day which was nice and tasted good. Plenty of seating - walked in on a Sunday for brunch and no problem getting a table. Street Parking can be difficult- it's across from Trader Joe's.

Yelp
We had a great Saturday morning brunch here. My breakfast tacos with chicken sausage were very flavorful & potatoes were nice & crispy. The Nutella French toast was the best sweet treat. Could skip the iced coffee next time, just okay. We had a friendly waitress and the host was very kind as well. They had a cute dining room & outdoor patio as well.

Yelp
This place was so cute! They had so many food and drink options and the staff was so nice! The prices were very fair too! We ordered a tea, coffee with oat milk, breakfast tacos, and a 2 eggs your way for $38! The tacos were delicious! The queso on top was a nice touch!

Yelp
This is Ryan, he works the weekend Brunch shift at Syrup Restaurant at the cap hill Denver location. Ryan knows how to run a perfect shift. The restaurant was packed with guests and a line out the door. Ryan didn't miss a beat to make sure every table was touched, questions were answered, and tables bussed all with a smile on his face. He made sure we had the perfect Espresso martinis with no dairy per my dairy allergy and a gluten free Benedict with no dairy as well. Absolutely delicious! We are looking forward to the next visit!

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful with a great staff. Unfortunately, the food has been wanting the last few times. We kept going back to give it another try but were always disappointed. The chef does not know how to season their dishes. We have been to other Syrup locations and the food was good. Management needs to step in to see where the disconnect is. Sad because we love this location.

Yelp
Everything here is tasty but the crunchy French toast was insane! Came here 3x on a trip to Denver. I'd visit here Everytime i visit Denver!

Yelp
The Aztec Omelette was superb! The service was friendly and prompt! I have been here a few times and will definitely continue enjoying the brunch here.

Yelp
It's official, Syrup has the best biscuits and gravy in Denver. Years of searching. I have found it. Congrats.

Yelp
Pretty good stop. Here's what I liked: The coffee selection is pretty good and the food menu is huge! There are even breakfast appetizers which I am in full support of. Our waiter was very kind. I liked the furniture and overall vibe of the place. Couple of notes: The idea of getting a pancake flight and trying 4 of their very unique syrups is a great idea, ours just happened to be cold when it came out unfortunately. The restaurant impact service fee of 3% is a little weird (I'm assuming due to COVID?) It's one thing to charge for gratuity or kitchen tip. Just raise the prices! We got charged for honey butter which we ordered but never came out. It was 25 cents, so NBD. Overall, 4/5 stars.

Yelp
In a word, disappointing. And I tell you that up front you can skip reading the rest of the review if you have things to do. The restaurant that was here previously was quite decent, so perhaps my expectations were set too high. Let's start with the coffee. $4. Weak. Not hot. The sugar, a third party brand - not Sugar in the Raw. Good thing I brought my own. The menu - quite elaborate in its varieties of sugar laden breakfast products. The omelet; I selected a build your own with spinach and feta. Decent. Cooked thoroughly, not too large, not too small. Toast or bread was not included. The potatoes - awful. The menu said the omelet included "smashed tater tots". Okay... I never had smashed tater tots, figured I'd try them. Lukewarm at best, they were not smashed in any way I could tell (see the photo to form your own opinion). The manager walked by as I was eating and I told him they seemed neither smashed nor hot. He said they smash them down on the griddle, and he would get me some others. Sure. A moment later he brought out a small plate. Well, again, I refer you to the picture but to my untrained eye the second plate of allegedly smashed tots looked no different then the first batch - which is to say that they appear to have come straight out of a tator tot bag, briefly moving through the oven before rolling to rest on a plate. Disclaimer - I have no training in tubers, nor do I have an advanced degree in food preparation. They simply looked exactly like what I don't buy at the supermarket due to the additives. Enough on the engineered Solanum tuberosum composite - sorry - they remind me of particle board. So, the meal was mediocre, to be generous. If the restaurant chain (I understand they have six other locations) was aiming for "good enough", my congratulations. You've hit the mark. I live about six blocks away, and I love to walk to local places, but I will never come here again. I'd rather drive 20 minutes to a First Watch and wait for a table than take a leisurely stroll down to a meal like this.

Yelp
I'm really surprised this place has three and a half stars, it definitely should be at four at least! The very first reason being my friend brought us here and she has good taste in food and fun spots. The place wasn't extravagant, kinda resembled an ihop or Denny's and that's okay cause we're here for brunch! Our waiter was so so nice and friendly, he gave recommendations and was the perfect amount of attentive, always checked in at the right time. We appreciated the many menu items until it got difficult to decide what we wanted! Enough room on the table for all our dishes and drinks and try what we all ordered. My best friend and I wanted to do sweet and savory so we got the smoked salmon on crostinis and the the foster pancakes and I remembered to take a picture before we devoured it all. Would highly recommend if you want a good spot for brunch and catching up with friends!

Yelp
Came here with a friend of mine and fell in love with the French toast overall pretty a pleasant experience!

Adam R.

Yelp
Food was soooo good! I love tater tots and these are some of the best. Biscuit and gravy was just like grandma made them and eggs cooked to perfection. Friends got a bananas Foster waffle to share, but I was too full. It looked delicious! Will definitely come back to try other options that looked good!

Yelp
If you don't know, like myself, Ivy on 7th is no longer... but @syrup_restaurant has taken over and it's better than ever. I've always loved this little corner restaurant and the quaint interior setting so not mad it's now a Syrup. Ordered: The Buena Vista-- chorizo sausage patties, avo, cheddar Jack cheese, jalapeños, potato cakes w/ hollandaise sauce and a side of greens. SCRUMPTIOUS Environment/ambiance: 10/10 (indoor/outdoor seating) Food: 9/10 Service: 5/10 Overall: 7/10

Dude Idk S.

Yelp
Need a spot that's fresh & quick? Look no further! We have this stuff when we purposely forget our breakfast. It's close to our studio so they're always coming through FAST. We love us some syrup!

Yelp
Went in for food before work. I had 45 minutes which I know is close but I knew what I wanted. Bartender approached me initially w a water and asked for a beverage request. Didn't return for 18 minutes (I was watching the clock bc I did have a time constraint.) I flagged down another employee to take my order. I had the steak and eggs. Medium rare and over easy. Eggs were perfect, however the steak was cold rare on one side and well done on the other. I couldn't replicate it if I tried. No one checked on how my food was. Finally the bartender came back (there were 3 other bar guests out of 20 chairs). I asked for my check. He proceeded to slowly make a few drink tickets without ever helping me. 15 minutes surpassed. I then frantically flagged down another person to help me bc the bartender wouldn't even make eye contact with patrons. A server came over and happily helped me close out. Truly one of the worst experiences I've ever had. No customer service from the bar. Terrible food. I've eaten here several times before when they were busy and it was great. Not this time, and I probably won't go back.

Yelp
Recommended to me by a local buddy. Service (Lauren et al.) was perfect and so was the breakfast. Crack bacon for the win! Bonus points for the aesthetic menu :)

Jane M.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this location because it's so convenient! Gave it three tries and each time we're disappointed in both quality of food and service. I hope they're able to increase quality of both in the future.....

Kate L.

Yelp
I had the blueberry waffle in goo! The blueberries were unrecognizable and not sure what the goo was! The waffle was mush, couldn't even eat it. Will never go there again. Not to mention there was a "service" fee on top of exorbitant pricing.

Yelp
Syrup is a fantastic breakfast spot! I absolutely love the Aztec omelette for the meat and veggies inside to the smothering of the green chili atop. The many a la cart items is a huge plus to make your breakfast absolutely perfect. I'm addition, the different flavored mimosas make this a perfect brunch spot for friends and family on a Sunday morning! This location in particular isn't as busy as downtown so we always get a table when arriving and the quality actually surpasses downtown.

Yelp
Second visit to the Cap Hill Syrup and well worth the trip. Great food and good service. Huge menu. Weekends are of course whack busy but week days are much calmer. Biggest stack of pancakes I've seen in a while. :)

Yelp
My best friend is moving in 24 hours. My best friends and I reserved a 15 person table. Maurico was our server and it was the worst experience I've ever experienced at syrup. He was very rude, in the middle of getting our order he said "we are running out of time" when my two best friends tried to ask him a question he rudely said "one at a time" there was a hair in my friends food, and made it painfully clear that we were his "last table". He told us to grab him incase we needed anything instead of checking on us. And he also refused to give us multiple checks. His bill was over $500 which we knew going into the reservation. I am so upset that this was my best friends going away party. This was horrible. All 15 of us at this table work in the service industry and we would never talk or treat our customers like this. I would never recommend anyone having Maurico as a server. He should not work in the service industry if he doesn't know how to treat others.

Yelp
Just sat at a table like a dunce for 15 minutes while it was dead inside during the middle of a weekday and nobody could be bothered to take an order for me.

Andrea D.

Yelp
This is a hard one for me because I've been to other syrup locations that I LOVED, but the food here was horrible. Chicken and waffles is a classic brunch/bfast item and this chicken was awful. Like the worst chicken I've ever eaten in my life and that says a lot because I've eaten some strange chicken in other countries. I was so excited for this chicken and waffles with friends after a long night shift and it was so overdone and dry that you couldn't even cut through it. I don't know what they batter it in either, but it like leather instead of fried chicken. The inside when I finally was able to cut it in half didn't even look like chicken. It looked like some fake meat. Three of us ordered it and couldn't eat it and the other girls were so unimpressed with their food either. Service was meh. I feel like it's so hard to find friendly people in the service industry this day and this guy seemed annoyed that we were even there to support that business in the first place. Ambiance was good as it was pretty empty.

Yelp
not good. sunday morning - our server and the host were great so it is clear that management is the root cause of the problems here. it's 2023 and they don't use opentable which is immensely off putting. instead of being able to walk around the block during our thirty minute wait we had to stay right there because they don't have a system (or simply chose not to) for texting/calling when your table is ready. fine. annoying but not a deal breaker. let's get to the actual food. it was gross, no other way to put it. poor quality yet still expensive. the drinks were also disappointing. $11 for a paloma made with a well tequila that might as well have been nail polish remover. my friend ordered something called the 'tower' which was the most disgusting, unappetizing presentation i have ever seen. quite literally it was the contents of a breakfast burrito sans tortilla, made into a sand castle looking monstrosity. 'pile' would have been a great name for it. in the way of ambiance, it was like walking into the clearance section at tj maxx. there were these comically large icky looking pillows all over the benches in the waiting area which did nothing but get in the way and make an already crowded area just that much smaller. all of these issues alone might be forgivable but together it just paints a picture of the owner(s) being money hungry investors with no interest not expertise in curating a mid tier brunch experience. it was diner quality with high class prices and this exactly what everyone is sick of.

Marquiz R.

Yelp
food was decent, server very attentive. alex the bartender ruined our entire experience. us being a people of color, and a queer identifying, we felt unwelcome. as a loyal patron i will not be returning back, as this whole situation was very discriminatory and dismissively racist. i would advise anyone that identifies outside the social norm to not visit this establishment

Yelp
I was looking for a keto friendly breakfast, I just happened to see a very crowded patio at this place as I was passing by, so I thought I would take a chance, so glad I did. I loved everything from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere is really inviting and vibrant. I like keto, but the menu has something for every taste, even a "flight" of pancakes... anyway I love omelets, I ordered, the "Lenny", its 3 eggs, lox, cream cheese, onion and capers, it normally comes with smashed tater tots, but I substituted for asparagus, it was excellent. The omelet was fluffy and amazing, the asparagus was unbelievable, grilled and seasoned to perfection. My wife had the Jalapeño Popper omelet and it totally delivered. Everyone greets you with a smile and our server Harland, recommended the asparagus and he really helped make our experience here very enjoyable. For me this restaurant is absolutely first rate!
