Big Chicago Group Promises Wood-Fired Italian at Etta in Culver City | Eater LA
"Word on the street is that Etta ā the Chicago restaurant known for its mostly wood-fired Italian staple dishes ā is coming to Los Angeles next year. Iāve heard the group confirmed the project will land in Culver City at the Ivy Station development, reportedly in a large corner space at Washington and National near the Platform and the Expo Line, and that the restaurant is slated to start serving sometime in 2020. Chicago fans and food critics have fawned over Ettaās wood-fired cooking since it opened in Bucktown in 2018, and its parent company, What If Syndicate (which also operates the steakhouse Maple & Ash), is opening a second Etta in River North in Chicago in 2020." - Farley Elliott
This is right at the metro station. This courtyard is large with events throughout the year. This day it happens to be October fest! There were vendors with handmade merchandise for sale. There was a variety of food choices and of course beer š». There is plenty of under ground parking. Under ground parking with 8 foot high clearance. The first two hours of parking is free. This child and fur baby friendly. Plenty of seating for your enjoyment. There are public restrooms as well. This a pleasant place to enjoy a warm night.

On Mon, Tues, and Thurs, Ivy Station sets out this game cart for visitors to use. There are tables set up next to carts with books and games. The center cart has a mousepad-style tournament board for chess with a plastic container of plastic lightly-weighted pieces.

The commercial spaces are half-way empty. The place was built on having many retail and food options, but 50% of the spaces still sit empty over 2 yrs after the building opened. There are some great options in the neighborhoods around Ivy Station, but the complex itself needs to really look at how they are attracting commercial tenants. The two Stars comes from the safety, cleanliness and the once-a-month night markets.

The Ivy Station has a bit of everything. Coffee, Exercise, Fine Dining, Brewery, Rooftop Bar, and they'll often have live music outside, or movie night, or even dance classes outside. It is very relaxing just to hang out and enjoy the vibe.

Itās very clean, pleasant and trendy. A bit boujie but Iām also poor. Great place to grab some coffee or hang out for a bit. The park area is great as long as thereās no private event selling literal thrift store clothing for prices that make me feel personally attacked.

Yelp
Ivy Station is a stop in the Metro E Line and is a mixed use development with a grassy area where they have a lot of events. I came for an outdoor Jazz concert! They had a Carribean food truck with great food, a cookie booth, and a flower truck along with 2 professional dancers dancing to the Jazz band. Very fun way to spend the afternoon. Right across the street from The Platform. They have a bathroom in the parking structure too. Tons of great free events, validated parking, nice staff.

Yelp
I'm still not sure what this place is. It's like a meeting ground for the Metro station, looks like it has Warner Media offices, and a few retail spots with apartment living. However I am here to comment on the events that they put on at this grassy area which was great! Books and cookies has a childrens story/music time every week and my toddler loves going to it. At the events they offer validated parking if you ask, otherwise visitor parking can get quite pricey. Note: visitor parking is at the top of the garage and metro parking is at the bottom. I missed the sign originally and circled around the garage.

Yelp
METRO PARKING AUTHORITY IS PREDATORY. They will use any and all excuses to give out tickets. I used the app to park but NOWHERE does it state that you cannot update a license plate when I went from temporary to permanent plates. I had already paid the fee before I realized it and Metro is refusing to dismiss the ticket I got even though I paid for the car that was in the lot. Fighting it will COST MORE MONEY. Someone else got a ticket due to poor signage. He was able to get the ticket dismissed, but only because he fought it. The sign issue has not been fixed; how much money Metro is fleecing from riders who don't know any better? Also, recently riders are being required to enter their TAP card numbers every time they park to make sure they are using Metro services - another excuse to give out more citations. Metro has NO RESPECT FOR PAYING RIDERS, not to mention that ride quality and safety has plummeted over the years. I never once skipped out on paying for rides or parking, despite putting up with barely safe and questionable sanitary conditions, so I don't appreciate basically being called a cheater.
