iWagyu, a Temple to Japanese Barbecue, Opens in the San Gabriel Valley | Eater LA

"Located in the City of Industry, iWagyu opened in December 2022 in a gorgeous Japanese-inspired dining room and evolved from owner Lawrence Gao’s high-end, all-inclusive yakiniku home delivery service that shipped grills, ingredients, and sauces and featured Japanese beef from regions such as Miyazaki and Kobe. I was struck by the sleek 4,000-square-foot space decorated with Mount Fuji, cranes, and sakura imagery; Gao brought on chef Carson, who spent six years working in Japan, and the kitchen now sources meats from Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Hokkaido as well as Australian and American beef. The menu is organized into two tasting menus—$138 for two (banchan-like appetizers, six meats, soup, rice, dessert) and $188 with higher-grade meat and a spicy wagyu soup—alongside numerous a la carte items, and they offer wine, sake, and beer. iWagyu also runs a membership program ($29.99 annually) that provides discounts and member-only secret menu items featuring unique cuts like intestine and other seasonal offerings. The restaurant took over a former Curry House and is open Mon–Thu 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., Fri–Sun 5:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; 17865 Colima Road, City of Industry, CA 91748, (949) 468-5609." - Kristie Hang

Tried the new iWagyu in Monterey Park and their beef quality is outstanding. The A5 Wagyu was rich, buttery, and literally melted in my mouth, with a perfect balance of fat and flavor. The Chef’s Recommendation Set came with different cuts like snowflake wagyu, beef belly, and marinated short ribs!each one tender, juicy, and full of smoky aroma. Every bite reminded me why iWagyu is my go-to spot whenever I crave premium Japanese BBQ.

Google
If you’re looking for a sign to treat yourself to high-vibe wagyu… this is it. I pulled up to IWAGYU in Monterey Park and omg the experience?? Elite. From the A5 Miyazaki wagyu to the kalbi tip to the peachy cocktail (my new obsession), everything was melting-in-your-mouth perfection.

Google
The meat is worth the price. The experience, the waitstaff, and the environment were all great! I didn’t mind the price as the meat and presentation of the items were top notch. There’s many times I feel like places don’t have the quality of meat for what they are charging, but this isn’t one of them. I clearly saw the quality of meat being brought out. The dips and sauces complimented the meat and did not overpower them. The waitstaff did not try and upscale but but instead gave me their opinion on items. I highly recommend this place!

Google
Great BBQ and even better service! Lulu was so kind and attentive, she really made our meal special. Definitely coming back!

A bit pricey but worth a try. Meat was great and tasty. Was expecting a little bit more on the portion but turned out it was more fulfilling than what we thought.

Google
iWagyu is a fine dining HIDDEN GEM that is great for date night or any celebration. They serve Yakiniku, a Japanese-style barbecue where meat and vegetables over a flame or grill. It's a communal and interactive dining experience, where they serve the most exquisite wagyu beef from around the world in seasons that they carefully selected with the best taste. It has beautiful marbling!! Every bite melts in your mouth! So juicy and tender. The presentation of the meats and appetizers are so beautiful!! The decor is impeccable!! The service is top notch!! What an absolutely spectacular time at iWagyu!!Every bite was incredibly satisfying and delicious!! Tender, succulent and grilled to perfection! 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 tried: Japanese Spot Shrimp Sashimi Japanese Uni with Wagyu Tartare -so fresh Dragon Wagyu Beef Tongue (limited) American Kobe Wagyu Combo: Zubuton, Short Rib, Skirt Ishiyaki Negi Wagyu Bibimbap - so flavorful Cheese Corn (could be cheesier) Matcha Ice Cream The beef tongue in a treasure box was phenomenal!! It’s a limited daily offering, so be sure to arrive early! It was incredibly tender, fatty, and melts in your mouth!! Kudos to Chico for her excellent customer service and grilling skills!!

Google
I went to iWagyu last week and boy was I impressed. First off, the interior of the restaurant felt really luxurious and modern. The servers were really friendly and extremely attentive. Every single piece of wagyu we got was melt in your mouth good and they each had their own characteristics. The beef tongue came with a salted green onion and it was the cherry on top. We ordered more to eat with other meats. The soup that came out was a mix of a spicy soft tofu and bean paste soup with a Korean vibe. It was so good!! The toppings were plentiful and the flavors were on point. They finish our meal off with ice cream which was simply delicious. Check this place out. You won’t regret it.

Yelp
Amazing service especially from Daniel and Iris! Food was great and high quality!! I love the japanese cuts and the prime short ribs :) The curry was so good too ! Love how it came in the stone pot so there was crispy bits of the rice Overall great experience especially since we came with not too many people so it was mild noise :) So clean and cozy too very perfect for special occasions with family and friends

Yelp
food: always a 10/10. the meat quality is always great! service: Regen was our server tonight and they were super attentive and always made sure to table touch! ambiance: cozy small restaurant great for families, friends night out, or date night!

Yelp
Second visit and still impressed. Tucked inside a plaza, we arrived right at opening (5:00 PM, very big back of us) and had the place to ourselves for a bit. This is not an AYCE spot! Quality over quantity is the move here. Ordering was straightforward with our server, and everything hit: we grilled the corn cheese (so satisfying), lamb chops, prime short plate, and the star, Wagyu short rib M9+. Meat quality is excellent, clean, buttery flavor that shines better with plain white rice (though I still recommend the bibimbap; it's well-seasoned and comforting). Meats I recommend: prime short plate (it has that beef belly taste I love in KBBQ, plus it's the cheapest cut lol). The interior is cute with light wood, minimalist details, and playful maneki - neko touches. Each table has one grill; it's comfortably set up for four people (maybe five), but there are no two-grill tables. Will come back again! They have memberships too. 5/5

Yelp
Wow everything was really amazing and good. I had so much Wagyu I forget which ones I tried. The Wagyu here was really good quality l I have to admit, really melts in your mouth. The favorite ones were obviously the A5 and higher quality Wagyu. The trio wasn't a bad combo either! The bibimbap is good, little oily but really flavorful! They cook the Wagyu for you and you cook the non-Wagyu meets! But sometimes when they are not busy they will cook for you! Came here Sunday night at 6 and by 7:30 it was packed!!! Line out of door. Had a great time will be back

Yelp
IWagyu is located in the city of Industry in the same plaza as In-N-Out and Nijiya Supermarket. I have been here twice once for a birthday and most recently for just a dinner with friends. Overall I love the interior and design of this place. It makes it feel quite private for all of the seating and tables. This traditional Japanese-style BBQ serves beef on the grill at your table. Depending on what type of meat you get the server will let you know how long to cook it for some are for just a couple of seconds and some are a tad bit longer like into minutes. But overall the beef tongue thick style was my favorite! I like the beef tongue as well but don't want tongue don't worry they have other meats like ribeye, outskirt, rib fingers, and much more. Would totally recommend people to come here and enjoy a nice dinner.
google avatar

Connie T.

Yelp
We joined the annual membership for $30 and they gave us a complimentary thin cut beef tongue. The thick cut beef tongue , A5 wagu and eel are all so good. The service is exceptional too. They help us cook n teach us how many minutes to cook for each type of meat. The ambiance for booth table is nice with ample of space . I revisit this restaurant again in a week .

Yelp
Worth it to be a member. You'll be back lol. Food is 100 here. Meat is nice and thick. The salad is good. Fried rice is bomb. Got amazing service with Regen.

Yelp
Came for my fiancés birthday dinner - we made a reservation in advance via Yelp, we came on a Wednesday dinner and it was pretty busy already. We went with the a5 trio combo and it was sooo delicious! The wagyu here is melt in your mouth and super fatty - honestly probably the best I've had in the states. The other non wagyu meats we ordered like short rib and garlic beef tongue were good but nothing out of the ordinary so I'd definitely recommend sticking to the wagyu here as this is what they're known for. The Wagyu in the Australian section was also phenomenal. For the appetizer, we ordered tomato in plum juice which was interesting but refreshing, and the carpaccio which wasn't our favorite - it was sort of like a Cesar salad with beef carpaccio on it. But overall the Wagyu here is top notch!! I like that you get seated in booths as well rather than an open space.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
iWagyu did not disappoint, I really like the quality of meat! The marbling is amazing, I was impressed by the texture and flavor. I came with some friends for DineLA so the meal was a set of items including an appetizer platter, wagyu beef tartare, A5 Wagyu Sukiyaki, Full Blood Wagyu Short Rib M9+, Prime Short Rib, American Wagyu Finger Meat, cheese corn, Wagyu bibimbap and matcha ice cream. My personal favorites are the Wagyu Short Rib M9+ and the Prime Short Rib! Service was top notch, everyone kept checking up on my party. I love the spaciousness of the booths/tables, the interior was cute and clean, definitely would come back!

Yelp
Come here on a Saturday night . When we first got seated, I felt like our server was rushing us to order. Her attitude was already giving me negative energy. You can order by picking their combos or order à la carte. For five of us we ordered two combos for two. As well as a bunch of other sides. Such as eel (delicious), pork belly, beef tarter with shrimp and uni (uni im was not fresh! One dish came with 2 pieces and we ordered 3 orders) Overall, food was not too bad. Our service did got a little better after we ordered few bottles of sake.

Yelp

Yelp
The wagyu is delicious and very fresh and our server, Regen was very attentive and very helpful and answered all questions about the food. The interior is very reminiscent of our visit to Japan. Would highly recommend if you're looking for something special and delicious. Quality meat is not cheap!!

Yelp
Had dinner at Iwagyu and was really impressed. The interior is sleek, clean, and upscale without feeling too stuffy. We had reservations on a Saturday night and it didn't seem like there was much of a wait. Service was honestly the fastest I've ever had at a JBBQ spot! Our servers were super friendly & attentive. We got the A5 trio with chuck short ribs, zabuton, and top sirloin -- all of it was 10/10. So tender, rich, and flavorful. It's definitely on the pricier side for the portion, but worth it for the quality. The wagyu bibimbap was also a surprise hit. Really flavorful and filling. We added a few more meats on the side and left super satisfied. This is a great spot for a special night out or if you're craving high quality wagyu!

Yelp
Food are decent and the restaurant is clean. Our server Regen was super nice and attentive

Yelp
The meat was so delicious, and not overly fatty. I loved all the vegetables including the pickle cucumber and kimchi. The texture of the ribs and marbling was fabulous. Our server was Regen, who was super sweet and informative. Great music and the decorations is very cute. Also accommodating to children which is great!

Yelp
Tried the chef's recommendation combination at and it was amazing! The meat was perfectly marbled, super tender, and just melted in your mouth -- you can really taste the quality. The raw shrimp, beef tartare topped with uni was a perfect pairing to start our carnivore meal. I enjoyed the ample amount of vegetables provided and the bibimbap for the dose of carbs. The service was super attentive throughout the meal. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and really spacious, which made the whole experience extra comfortable.

Yelp
The service & food was great and delicious. Our first time here. Reagan provided good service & always refilled my cup of green tea. Never had to ask for refill. Will def. come back again. Have a reservation though. Gets pack pretty quick. Thank you i wagyu.

Yelp
Second time here. I like to visit a place twice before I leave a review. This place is top tier! The food is amazing, the best quality. The dining area is clean and our server Lulu was extremely attentive. I'll specifically be asking for her when I make a reservation. Overall, an amazing experience all around. Highly recommend this place!

Yelp
I was surprised by iWagyu. First and foremost, the decor inside was very sleek, chic, and modern. Secondly, the servers were awesome Reagan and Chico were attentive, nice, and very approachable. We were there to celebrate 2 bdays with a party of 5 adults. We ordered the A5 Trio, American Kobe beef combo, and some other cuts from the ala carte menu. The quality is top notch. I won't compare it Chubby Cattle because that is AYCE and in a different class. the A5 trio truly was melt in our mouths heaven and Reagan cooked it for us. It came in a pretty little chest during presentation. Additionally, we ordered the short plate and thin beef tongue, which were delectable. Besides the super premium meats that were cooked by the staff, we cooked our own cuts of meat. Luckily, I'm picky and don't like to overcook my meats so I took over the grill and respectfully cooked each meat medium/medium rare. Don't disrespect premium meats by turning them into jerky!!!! They changed our grill a few times without us having to ask so they were attentive. It comes to show that they care about how the meats come out tasting because an overly charred grill and user error will render your meats extra smoky. I joined as a member and I look forward to coming back again. I look forward to hitting up Yakiya later this month to compare. It isn't cheap. If you want more quality quantity, go to Chubby Cattle. If you want higher quality, come here.

Yelp
Regen gives us good services. The food is very good, just we take a 40 minutes come here, and ate 30minutes. Eat so fast !

Yelp
One of my favorite date night spots. The playlist is amazing, and the staff is so friendly. Not to mention how amazing the food is. - my boyfriend says "you know it's great Wagyu when you don't have to season it with anything else"- which is exactly the type of meats that we were served here.

Yelp
We finally made our way to iWagyu in the City of Industry and had such a solid experience. It's the kind of place where you can tell they care about both the ingredients and the overall service. ::Drinks:: We got hot tea for this visit, and it honestly couldn't have been more fitting with how chilly it was inside. Lulu kept our cups full the entire time, making sure it was always hot and freshly brewed. We didn't have to say a word; she just took care of it. ::Food:: We tried the Chef's Recommendation and it was worth it. The platter came with a variety of A5 wagyu cuts like ribeye, brisket, and chuck roll, all beautifully marbled and full of flavor. They also included some prime U.S. beef for a nice balance. The set came with sauces, kimchi, pickled cucumbers, and even an Ishiyaki Negi Wagyu Bibimbap, which was a standout. One of the things we liked was how they didn't just bring the meat and walk away. Lulu walked us through every cut, explained how long to cook each one, and what to pair it with. The wagyu was ridiculously tender. It hits the grill and almost melts. Super buttery and rich, but not heavy. ::Dessert:: For dessert, we tried the Yuzu Cheesecake and the Mango Matcha Ice Cream. Both were light, flavorful and just what we needed after all that meat. The cheesecake had a citrusy pop, and the ice cream was creamy with a nice mix of fruity and earthy notes. ::Customer Service:: Lulu made our night. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely great to talk to. She grilled the meats for us, gave great tips, and always checked in to make sure we were enjoying everything. You could tell she cared about giving us a great experience, and it made all the difference. ::Tip:: Definitely book a reservation if you're planning to go on a weekend ::M's Notes:: - Parking lot - Indoor seating only

Yelp
Wonderful ! Most excellent yakiniku place in the area. Great service, great food, and high quality. Lunch time weekend ordered: wagyu skirt steak, garlic beef tongue, rib meat and chicken.
google avatar

Ernest F.

Yelp
iWagyu is quality Wagyu. Although on the pricier end, the cuts of meat are superb. Mouthwatering just thinking about it. My favorite cuts were the thick cut wagyu tongue and the outside skirt. If you are coming on a budget, I recommend eating a small meal before or after. This place is more of an experience. The service here is amazing too! Shoutout to Jerry, Regan, and Chico for providing excellent service to our table. Waters were filled and bellies were full. I love the wooden decor/theme of the restaurant. My table sat in a booth on the right side of the restaurant, and it felt very intimate. And the utensils were pristine and fancy too! I recommend placing a reservation before eating here because it does get busy during dinner time. Plenty of parking in the plaza.
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
They have thick cut beef tongue which very few places in SoCal serve!! Cuts are amazing quality at a great value!! Service is also amazing!! They top off your tea, offer to grill the A5 and mix and serve your bibimbap. I will definitely be returning for more beef tongue and to try their other cuts!!
google avatar

Jack E.

Yelp
The BBQ was amazing. The meat was very fresh and full of flavor, and Regen's service was outstanding. She was warm, patient, and very attentive throughout our meal.

Yelp
Walked in on a Saturday around 7pm and the wait for 2 was as about 30 mins. The restaurant is clean and cozy. Upon being seated, the server briefly explained the menu and suggested the chef's recommendation which is a set menu for 2 priced at $138. Although the food was excellent, the service and overall experience was disappointing. The set menu comes out all at once, starting with the wagyu, which was heavenly. They will torch the wagyu tableside. Once that course was done, we were under the impression that they take control of cooking all of the meat like some restaurants do. There was lack of communication there, so our server proceeded to cook ALL of the high quality meat and veggies at once and at a quick speed, leaving us feeling as if our dinner was rushed. We looked over at the table next to us and realized they were cooking their own meat, so we were left a bit confused wondering why they didn't give us the option to cook the meat ourselves? Because of this, my husband and I didn't get to enjoy the full experience as much as we would have liked. Dining out is a luxury these days and it's a good idea to communicate to customers the type of experience they will be embarking. Maybe it would have been worth the $170 price tag (after tax and tip) if we weren't left feeling like our dinner was rushed.
google avatar

Mo H.

Yelp
Moved to the area and a regulars now w membership. Used to be pricey but think they adjusted the pricing without losing their quality. Me and the wify under $150 out the door having a full stomach all the time. Not cheap but definitely great for the price. Services great at the table but not the best at the counter. 4.5 for the counter's attitude but its fine i round it up
google avatar

Yelp
The best japanese/korean bbq ever Plenty of parking We got the ribeye cap, a5 trio, and american kobe combo The meat - sooo good and mouth watering Tender buttery and rich even the marinaded meat was delicious (not too seasoned) I love their dipping sauce especially the green one and their sesame/salt mixture They help you grill if you ask especially the a5 combo For sides we got the corn cheese which was bomb, The house salad super refreshing, and the assorted vegetableS. I thought the assorted veggies were for the grill but its actually just veggie/lettucewraps and ssamjjang sauce We also got the rice cakes which were traditional rice cakes you can grill Everything was delicious, service was excellent, and those 3 orders of meat was good enough for 2 super hungry people. I will definitely be back - this place is my new all time favorite
google avatar

Yelp
The food is good nice experience #goodfood #yummy #goodservice #loveit The service was great
google avatar

Benson C.

Yelp
The quality of the meat was great, the service was very good. There price is on the higher end of things but that's likely because of the meat quality (it taste like a different level of beef). Their beef tongue was delicious and something hard to find in the U.S. with such high quality. I think it's a great place for a special occasion.
google avatar

Yelp
TLDR: Excellent yakiniku spot especially for birthdays. Highly recommend flagging down servers and double-checking orders, as some of ours were missed! Service can also be on the slower end, so if possible, try and get a kettle versus waiting for refills. - - - - - - I came here for a birthday celebration as a group of four, and we were greeted with a short wait time and a nicely lit and decorated interior. And wow did it hit the spot for yakiniku cravings! Even better, a friend of mine is a member, and we were able to tag on an order of karaage (fried chicken), too. And whoever is in charge of the side dishes, A+! They were amazing, and I'm glad that members have it complimentary. :) Staff service was friendly, though a tad on the slower end, but once food came out... ugh was it easy to forget! We started with the Chef's Recommendation and added on a Wagyu Top Blade, Miyazaki Chuck Short Rib A5, and an extra Bibimbap. Between these orders, the braised beef tongue was a hit-miss for us, as it was not the usual, thin form in KBBQ. Not only was the texture different, but the taste was too, though that can be expected. The wagyu carpaccio was a surprise, a unique experience. However, looking back, our shrimp sashimi never arrived. The appetizer platter of veggies, though - mmm! Between the many cuts of meat, I have to admit all were tasty in their own way, tender and cooked well. At times, the staff would check in on us and even offer a grill change when the grill got charred. We also didn't quite get the cheese portobello, and later in the night, we realized we also weren't given order that we had to inquire about. The bibimbap rice was amazing, and two was more than enough for us. In the most honest way, imagine bibimbap, and then with wagyu beef, mmm mouth watering! Towards the end, they brought out our cakes and played a moderate volume (and not frightful) "Happy Birthday" - thank you! We even had delighted in some matcha ice creams, and they were smooth as can be!

Katarina M.

Yelp
Wow--what an incredible experience! Iwagyu completely blew me away! The food was phenomenal--the meat was unbelievably tender, full of rich flavor, and cooked to absolute perfection. Every bite felt like a treat. The service was just as impressive: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure everything was perfect. I left already excited for my next visit. If you love great food and exceptional hospitality, this place is a must!

Yelp
Wow - A little disappointed that I didn't dine here earlier! Came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was a little empty but quickly filled up. My Fiancee and I opted for the Chef's Recommendation for 2 people. Wow, service was quick and they were very attentive. Dishes came out almost immediately. I also liked that they offered hot tea as their standard. Out of the Chef's Recommendation, I enjoyed the prime shortrib and the finger meat the most. Their spicy green dipping sauce was also fire. I didnt care for the wagyu carpaccio. The wagyu bibimbap was also a hit! If it's your first time, I definitely recommend trying the Chef's menu. Parking can be challenging as its right next to In-N-Out's drive thru line.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent service and fair pricing. I made a reservation through Yelp for a weekday dinner. I got seated promptly after arriving at the restaurant. My table ordered just the Chef's Recommendation which is good for 2 people. The appetizer platter was just ok but everything else tasted good. The portion size is what you would expect for the price, but I suspect it might be too little for 2 grown men. Overall, I would recommend iWagyu if you are looking for an intimate and somewhat quiet restaurant for some yakiniku.
google avatar

Jess B.

Yelp
One of the easiest 5 star reviews I've given. Great quality of meat, reasonable portion sizes and great customer service. The restaurant itself is in a plaza so there's lots of parking (but can sometimes get crowded during dinner time). Inside, it's very clean and minimalist decor I would 1000% go again!

Emily P.

Yelp
Everything from the ambience to the food to the service was 10/10. Our waitress Regan gave excellent service and was attentive throughout. The American Kobe Wagyu combo with the wagyu bibimbap was particularly delicious and I would for sure recommend the bibimbap. Would definitely come again for a special occasion!

Yelp
First time trying iWagyu after reading a lot about this place. Came here for our anniversary and didn't disappoint. For $138 a couple, it was definitely worth it. Food was great. We did add on pork belly and marinated beef which was a bit too as it definitely was a lot of food. However everything was good here. The wagyu was very tasty. The ambiance in here definitely was nice. Reminded me of when we visited Japan having wagyu. Very nice ambiance. Even better service with the team especially Jerry. Nice and friendly staff. Ended up getting the membership so will be here plenty of times!
google avatar

Yelp
Meat quality was so good. I didn't take all of the meat photos. But there was one meat that was really good. Either the outskirts or the rib meat whichever one was the skinnier one Lay, Chico, and carlos were on top of everything and the service was amazing. They changed grills and carlos and Chico were super nice to us. She told us roughly what we should get based off of the 2 peiple menu when we had 6 and told us how to eat specific ones as well.

Yelp
氣氛很不錯!肉的quality 也很好!Service 也很周到!我們的服務員是Regen,他時常會注意到我們烤肉的狀況,並提供服務!他教了我們如何烤白鰻!很新鮮很好吃!大推!!

Yelp
Our family tried out iWagyu, a Japanese restaurant known for its premium wagyu beef. Overall, it was a mixed experience. Parking was easy, which is always a plus. We made reservations and were seated quickly even on a busy Saturday night. However, the loud music made it hard to have a conversation. We opted for the Chef's Recommendation, their prix fixe menu. The wagyu meats for grilling were definitely the highlight. On the downside, we didn't enjoy the carpaccio and beef tongue courses as much. It would have been nice if dessert was included in the prix fixe menu to round out the meal. We did appreciate the bibimbap, which was a pleasant surprise, with a large serving, and quite tasty. Overall, would recommend if you have a craving for wagyu. We would be back but would opt to order ala carte next time instead of the prix fixe menu.

Lois C.

Yelp
We had a great experience; the service and food were both wonderful. Thank you, Regen.

Yelp
Started getting their delivery during Covid and really enjoyed it! When they opened a physical store I had to come try it out! Indulging in Wagyu beef has become a trend across SGV and the broader LA area. The restaurant unveiled at end of 2002, nestled in City of Industry, boasting a stunning Japanese inspired ambience with beautiful Japanese imagery and decor. We tried the chef recommended menu for 2 people. It came with an assortment of premium Wagyu beef and variety of side dishes to enjoy the meat with. The presentation of the meat was exquisite and each bite was tender, buttery and full of flavor. It also comes with a bit of shrimp so you get the whole surf and turf bbq experience. The Wagyu Beef Bimbimbap was the perfect way to round off our meat feast. The service was outstanding! Staffs were friendly and explained the different cuts and recommended how to cook the meat so you don't overcook them. For any meat enthusiast and BBQ lovers seeking an exceptional culinary journey, absolute must visit destination.

Yelp
I always come here for Japanese wagyu bbq. Great food and good service. Their wagyu beef is so great and fresh and tasty for bbq. The other item I like most is beef tonque.

Yelp
We ordered the chef's recommendation since it came with a bit of everything with several courses. This is their pre-set menu for two ($138/2 people). We came on a Sunday at noon and were seated promptly. Food came out fast, but service was non-existent. They came by, dropped off food, and disappeared. Some of the appetizers were basically Korean side dishes (kimchi, etc), I didn't love the wagyu carpaccio, but did enjoy the main courses of wagyu meat and ending with the wagyu bibimbap! This was definitely plenty of food for me and my sister and we overall enjoyed our time here!
