Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia | Best places to stay in the Snowdonia National Park

"There’s a buzz around Adventure Parc Snowdonia, the artificial surf reef and activity centre in the Conwy Valley. That has only been accentuated with the opening of its new hotel and spa, the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel has rooms overlooks the inland surf lagoon and customers have direct access to existing Parc activities. The accompanying Wave Garden Spa offers treatments and a wellness space on a thalassotherapy motif. It’s a contemporary, activity-based stay for families and thrill seekers in the rural Cowny Valley. We really enjoyed our stay at Ixora. We loved the room - it was large, very comfortable bed. Smeg fridge and kettle which was lovely. Very nice waterfall shower and separate toilet. Just to note bathroom area was divided by frosted glass screen - so can't be shy. Didn't bother us at all but know wouldn't be for all. We were abit disappointed by the views - as was marketed as woodland view and Lake view but the car park was abit of an eyesore. But understandably needed. We were also on the side of the bins which could be more covered to help with the view. Very good cooked and cold buffet breakfast - delicious hash browns! Spa - we enjoyed the nice space of the spa. Cool outdoor jacuzzi and indoor. Great sauna and steam room. Bubbles in jacuzzi could've been stronger. Enjoyable and relaxing spa. We opted for the lunch package which was good value for money.

We Stayed over the Christmas period 24/12/25 to 27/12/25. From the moment we walked into the reception till we checked out, the staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. We had breakfast and evening meals and all food was excellent, we had our small dog with us which meant we had to eat in the bar or lounge but this was not an issue as both are so close to the restaurant it made very little difference. Scenery is fantastic and their are plenty of nice walks. Our room was spot on very clean and had all we needed, Our only minor issue is no opening windows which meant the lowest setting on the heating controls is 19c and this kept the room a little too warm although they do supply 2 fans which we used most nights, We can highly recommend the Ixora Hotel & Spa you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to return. Mark & Tracy

We stayed one night with “soak & sleep” offer which includes 2 hours access to the spa and buffet breakfast. The location was amazing with beautiful scenery. It is modern and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nice. Can have a walk around the Snowdonia lagoon just outside the hotel. Would definitely recommend! 👍🏻

Service really lacking in this hotel. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff were really poor. We stayed 1 night as part of a trip around Wales, we paid extra for the spa both days which was in our opinion worth the money but this is a separate entity and managed by another company. The hotel itself was modern and quite liked the decor, room was spacious but the room we got had a terrible view and their solution was to either move next door for the same view or give them more money. The hotel was not busy as they had mentioned so seemed like an easy win for them to make us happy. We checked in after 3pm as room wasnt ready, not really good enough. The bar area room ages to get served, again not busy, just couldn't cope. They told us they couldn't serve drinks in the right glass as the washing up hadn't been done. Food came out at different times meaning id nearly finished by the time my wife started. They didn't seem to care. Everytime we mentioned things to them it fell on deaf ears. Such a shame as it had the potential to be amazing. Photos are from the room, woodland view apparently.... Snowdonia at its finest :-(

The hotel was lovely and modern however the bathroom needs to be cleaned properly.we have stayed on the first floor as we had our fluffy dog with us so maybe the pet friendly rooms are slightly different to the normal rooms. The staff were super friendly and we have enjoyed the spa too. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and we didn't have to wait long for the drinks and food. Also great location if you would like to climb Snowdon or if you would like visit the towns around. We would definitely return maybe during the spring or summer month next time. Also WiFi and car park were free

We stay here every year for new years with our dog after a few days camping and hiking. This year was exceptional - every staff member was so friendly and welcoming which makes such a difference. It is clean, spacious, well kept and comfortable - but all of that is nothing without that welcoming feeling staff members provide. The lady at the check in desk, the general manager and maintenance man who came to help us after we got locked out of our room, the ladies in the spa, the gentleman who sorted out our late check out and the cleaners. They are all so lovely and cannot thank them enough for making our stay special.

We celebrated my husband's birthday there. From the moment we walked in to when we left the hotel, James and his entire team were absolutely amazing and incredibly accommodating. Amelia and her team provided amazing, relaxing massages. I would highly recommend the hotel and plan to return in the summer months. Thank you again.

Great hotel - large modern clean rooms, huge comfy bed and bedding. Staff all friendly. Spa was lovely and a v reasonable price as a hotel guest. Plenty of breakfast options and the meal in the evening at the restaurant was really tasty. Although the view from the windows and immediate area wasn’t spectacular, there are lots of beautiful places a v short distance away. Would recommend to friends. Overall a really nice stay 😊
