We recently visited this Michelin-recommended restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the wait staff were incredibly observant and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
For drinks, my partner enjoyed the Umeshu, while I opted for the pomegranate juice. Although the non-alcoholic options were not extensive, they were satisfactory.
We chose the chef’s choice menu, which provided a wonderful selection of dishes. Sharing the courses was more than enough food for us. The meal began with a variety of pickles, including cucumber, chilli pineapple, pickled pear, and daikon. The sushi round featured tuna, prawn, and salmon nigiri, all fresh and beautifully presented.
A standout dish for me was the salmon with roe in a fresh jalapeno and vinegar sauce, which was both flavourful and unique. We also enjoyed edamame, karage, and a delightful combination of pork neck with mango sauce, grilled sweet potato, teriyaki something, and Japanese pancakes.
The food was well-presented, with a lot of stronger sweet flavours, so I recommend pairing your meal with a drink that’s not too sweet. The only improvement I would suggest is the inclusion of a dessert in the chef’s choice menu.
Overall, the restaurant was well-priced, and we are eager to return to try their ramen. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!
