Wonderful little shop with bulk dried fruits, nuts, beans and spices. The dried fruits are our favorite, including several that are unusual. Dried hibiscus flowers? Delicious.

Very nice old style shop with many middle eastern products. The owners manage this place and it is old cute couple. The only negative is the prices. They are really high and for some products you can easily find they are way too high.

Incredible shop. Everything spice and ingredients wise you can think of. It was an education! Other than the exotic, they also stock golden syrup, vegimite and marmite!!

Every time I am in Paris this is my go to place to stock up on spices, especially piment d'esplette.(sp?) Expensive and hard to find in Vancouver. There is always room in my luggage for herbs de provence and saffron too. Foodie heaven in a venerated shop.

The sweetest little shop, I just love it! The owner is so kind, and the selection is great. I absolutely die for their dried fruit and green tapenade, oh my gosh. The SMELL hits you when you come in, a delightful mix of spices from all over the world. Even if you don’t wish to buy anything there, it’s worth a little detour just to step inside 🥰

There is no need to go anywhere else - this place has it all! I have searched many stores for English, American, Greek and even Australian ingredients and whilst I find one or two things I can’t buy them all in one store, until I discovered Izrael! This place has nuts, dried legumes, spices, spreads, honey, cheese, corn chips and the list goes on and on. Incredible stash of products in a tightly packed store. This is my number one food store pick in Paris.

Lovely couple managing the shop with wide variety of spices and great flavors. Someone close to my heart recommended this store and it's a plate saver everytime. From their spicy smoked paprika from Spain to their Shichimi the smells are great and goes well with their recommendations.

Yelp
Izraël. Be patient with the proprietor, he has everything ... just takes a little time to find it. This is the kind of business I come to Paris to find. I wish I could take some of the bulk spices home (especially the curries) ... but, because of the labeling, (or lack of it), I know they would never make it through Customs. Five Stars ... make it Six, for authenticity.

Yelp
Was at Izrael today when they opened at 11AM. I'm addicted to their dates stuffed with marzipan at 30 EU per kilo. And, while they are amazing their high prices may have me hesitate next time. Also purchased 2 types of peppercorns. They sell 30+ varieties in this little store. They let me grind a few types to figure out which I wanted. I chose ones from Madagascar at 16 EU for a small bag. Yes, not a store for the budget minded! The gentleman whom helped me was most kind. I am on a long Paris weekend adventure, Izrael being a high point. I have been here on past trips. This is a wonderful store. I wish they had a second location in Los Angeles.

Yelp
They have dozens (hundreds?) of different spices, foods, and flavorings from all over the world. If you can't find it anywhere else, try here. Even if you're not cooking, it's fun just to walk around and take a look. You can find the ingredients to make mole poblano (chiles, peppers) with tortillas.
