"Recent refurbishment at this long-standing restaurant on the city’s main square has given it the feel of an elegant bistro. Although the owners and managers here are Chinese, the cuisine focuses on Japan and includes all the usual classic options (sushi, uramaki, sashimi etc), as well as a series of “Izu special creations” and various dishes influenced by Asia and the Mediterranean alike. Loved the food, the atmosphere and the service at Izu Milano. Staff were super friendly and the food was just amazing! Found this restaurant as it was mentioned in the Michelin guide and it did not disappoint! Would totally come back if we are ever in Milan again!

Went back a second time just recently and was very disappointed… the quality was very good last time, this time the fish was bland and served too cold. The toro was especially disappointing… and it’s not a cheap place… management also very grumpy and unpleasant… the waiters are awesome and the somellier a pleasure. I’ll go back I think, but won’t order top shelf fish because not worth it…

Great food and amazing fibe. Service also great at first but after the meal was served and cleared, we were left unattended for more than 1,5 hour where no staff passed by to offer water, dessert or coffee. Missed opportunity for more sale and better service.

A perfect evening at Izu Milano. The Japanese fusion cuisine is exceptional, with dishes that surprise with every bite. The atmosphere is refined and welcoming, and the service was impeccable. I can't wait to go back!
