Placed order on their website and was given a $60 discount because that was the deal on line. I was contacted stating they did not have the merchandise in stock. A few minutes later my husband called to see if they could order what we wanted and was told by someone else we have the merchandise in stock. So it was denied because they did not want to honor the discount very poor customer service.

Excellent selection of California wines. I only looked at this section n was very impressed. Purchased and will be better. They have nice Opus vintages as well as other fine bottles They also have all ranges to fit any budget

Long term customer here spend average 500$ a month there forgot a coupon and was denied 15% off on a bottle and was told if you can get your price elsewhere please do bad business to lose a very long term customer over 15% on one bottle.. about principle and good business than price.. had all good to say till now will take my business ( 500$ a month minimum) elsewhere

Great selection great place. Plenty of lottery tickets. Usually get winners, to at least get my money back and more. Only 45% of money back. $105 out $220. Usually get 100% back and $50 to $100 more. Sometimes triple my input, that I like.

This is place that is conveniently located. It has a large selection and sometimes their prices are great, but they just can’t compete or compare to Sams Club or Walmart. They are there to help find, or select to your needs pleasantly, and with plenty of parking!

I love this liquor store because everyone is friendly and they have a great selection of wine and any other liquor that I am looking for. Everyone should shop here at least once. And you earn points on your purchases that you can apply to future purchases. Fantastic!

This is my family's go to spot to get wine or alcohol to have at our family get togethers. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have a lot to offer for a store that does not seem like it would fit all of the options they have.

My name is Jared and I have a problem... I can't enjoy Whiskey anymore unless it comes straight from a bottle of 1792 Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey. I was leaving my friends house over in Sayville and as I was walking towards the LIRR, a really clean looking hightop van caught my eye in a parking lot across the street (#vanlife). As I crossed the street, I noticed J & J Spirt Shop and walked in out of curiosity. And again, just for curiosity's sake of course... I asked if they carried 1792 Whiskey. Ok to be honest, I actually asked if they carried "1702" Whiskey but they kindly and politely corrected me (I was exhausted so let's call it a brainfart) and quickly presented me with a bottle. I knew I was running low on the bottle I have at home (it lasted me quite a while folks!) and since the price was quite right, I decided to buy one. I was tempted to buy two because again, at 34.99, it felt like a deal. I've actually purchased the same exact 750ml bottle for $40 pre-tax at other stores. There is also a really cool looking cigar shop next door. Had I not been in hurry to catch my train and had one waiting for me at home, I would have certainly stopped in. When I got home, I popped the bottle in the freezer (this probably goes against whiskey code but I like my drinks cold but without ice) and enjoyed it with my cigar. Cigars and Whiskey... yup it's official... I've become my grandpa! Spark notes version: 5 stars for a really clean, local liquor store that has a large selection with good prices and is run by super nice folks

My husband and I have found the owners and the workers immensely pleasant and helpful. They are always willing to help and are very knowledgeable. We are very happy with J & J Spirit Shop.

Anti maskers. None of the employees had masks, a young employee was boasting about not wearing a mask and the owners we're standing very close to the register with our wearing a mask. It was embarrassing and like an ape banging on its chest trying to be macho... except the kid was very scrawny lol. The fragile male egos were showing. Me and my friend immediately left after seeing this, we felt very uncomfortable! Please get a grip :) stupidity is a disease.

I called ahead to see if they had a particular wine I was looking for as a website told me they carried this said wine~ I was asked how many do I want? I said how many do You have? I was told 2 and I said I will take the two - I am heading to you now~ I got there and an older woman said no we don't have them I just looked ~ okay so not a huge deal it's just wine right? What pissed me off was no I'm sorry we don't have them/ how about calling me back when you realized ? Ugh so annoying !!!

I live in Sayville and always supported J&J unfortunately I stopped in today and it's the second time that the gentleman who work there do not wear their mask! Therefore I can no longer support them! It's a shame that they don't care about their customers. I wear my mask to protect them unfortunately you don't feel that your employees should care about your customers health! Just want to make it clear that every time I went in there the women always wear their masks for some reason it's the Men that work that refuse to wear one!

Finest spirit shop in Suffolk county. Their wine club membership will save you $$$. Best selection, Best value, Nicest people. Special orders no problem. Love them!!!

I had just returned to my northern home so I was on day 2 of my 14 day quarantine, Was running low on my liquid spirits and decided to forego any delivery apps and support local. I called, found out they had my brand of wines, put my order in and had my delivery within the hour. Couldn't be happier with this excellence service. Thanks J&J!

It's family owned. Decent prices. The workers there are friendly and willing to help you out if you have any questions. But every time I have ever went in there I feel like I'm being watched over like a hawk because I look young. And then they always ask me my age before I even go to check out. It's weird. I look younger than my age, but stop asking me how old I am. And one time I drove my adult cousin there and waited in the car and I was in fact 21 at the time and they wouldn't sell him liquor because I was in the car and needed to come in and show my ID. Now that's just a little ridiculous. I didn't waste my time and just went to Michael's next to Stop N Shop instead.

Great prices. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The helped me pick out a great bottle of wine at a great price. I would recommend j and j to anyone looking for a nice liquor store.

I have been coming to this establishment for years and have received nothing but top notch personal service at the most competitive prices around. There is a reason this family owned business has been a mainstay in Sayville for so many years. Keep up the good work!
