The 15 Best Chinese Restaurants In Atlanta

"When you’re torn between Chinese and Korean, head to Doraville's J-Bistro, which has a wide variety of great Chinese, Korean, and fusion dishes. Despite its shopping center digs (it's in a H Mart plaza), the dining room is incredibly spacious. And be sure to grab a seat near the large kitchen viewing window where you can see the chefs in action. Stick to the OG Korean-Chinese dishes—jjajangmyeon, silky noodles in black bean sauce, and tangsuyuk, a tender sweet and sour pork. " - candy hom

If I could give this place six stars, I would. This is hands down the best Sichuan cuisine in Atlanta. I highly recommend going during the lunch special (1:30–3:00 PM), where you get an entree, a spring roll, and soup for just $12. I had the hot boiled fish, and it was absolutely delicious. There’s plenty of seating, even during lunch hours, making it a great spot for both big and small groups. The food is outstanding, and one of the best parts is the large window where you can watch the chefs at work—an added bonus to an already fantastic dining experience.

Amazing authentic Chinese food. Prices are low compared to the quality and quantity of a dish. Most dishes can be shared by 2 folks so ask. Quick service. Don't be afraid of the chilli and spice in the pictures online...it's not hot but more flavourful. They have some of the standard Chinese stuff but they shine in the authentic ones. Easy on the wallet especially for families or casual date night.

Super tasty Chinese food! Definitely one of the best Chinese places I’ve tried around Atlanta. The cumin lamb was tender and extremely flavorful with each savory bite. The fish dry pot featured crispy fish and an assortment of various vegetables that complemented the spicy, numbing mala undertones particularly well. Will come back to try other items on the menu!

Their soy sauce braised pork belly with tofu is phenomenal. Every dish was solid, especially the beef stir fried rice noodles which had a great smoky wok hei flavor.

In the Atlanta area for work, doing food tours before I had to return home. This was my last lunch in the area so I wanted to do something new and exciting. I heard Sichuan food was supposed to be bold and spicy so I made sure I picked something from the menu with a little chili symbol to indicate heat. Also from their specials: I wanted something they were proud of! Twice cooked pork. What I got? It looked great! But. There was zero heat. The egg drop soup was spicer? This was…it was just bland. Did I get flavor gated because I’m white? I will try sichuan somewhere else next time. I asked for chili oil and, honestly it took 3 tsp of it to even start feeling heat. Did they give me mild chili oil too? Is sichuan spice over hyped? For reference, my usual heat maximum is Serrano.

As an American married to a Korean, I have tried my fair share of Asian restaurants. The food here tastes exactly like what I had in Korea and my husband said he felt like he was home. We both really loved the food. It was so good, by far the best place we have found in America that is authentic. Another amazing aspect is you can watch the chefs as they cook your food through this long window, and watch the fire show that is just amazing to watch them cook with. From behind the window those chefs look like rockstars. The amazing food and watching the chefs as they cook has now made this my new favorite place. I highly recommend.

While out this Saturday my friend was telling me about his good experience here so we came for lunch. The place is nicely appointed and though crowded not noisy and the service was quick and efficient. The staff was very helpful with our questions and explaining the items. The food was excellent! Our hot and sour soup had a lighter base that others but was flavorful. The spring roll very good. BUT the calamari was hands down the best I have ever had! Fried with a light tempura breading with no oily taste. The squid was cooked perfect not chewy or rubbery at all. The bell pepper onions green onion salt and pepper sauce was to die for. This is a must try item! Our lunch I had the Home made Noodle with chicken. (chicken was not on the menu but they subbed it for me). My friend had the Stir Fry Flay noodle with beef. We both loved the dishes and both had over half our plate home as the portion was a good size, and we did have an appetizer. We will definitely return. 8/22 Update week later we came back for lunch again. And the calamari was just as good the food was just as good. Enjoyed that visit also. You really must come by and try this place. Adding a picture of today's lunch pork belly fried rice and a spring roll, the flat noodles with shrimp. And the calamari.

Unfortunately, I would like to give this place five stars. The first time I went there, the food was really good but the server wax very dismissive. No problem. But the 2nd time I came, my experience was a hell no. My fried rice came out cold, again I had the same dismissive server and they acted like I wasn't wanted in their establishment. Fine, you don't have to tell me twice to take my money somewhere else. Tuh😑
