Overall great sushi, prices a little on the higher end (at least for individual rolls.. the combos are better bang for your buck!). We ordered the mango tango signature roll and the deluxe rolls combo. Everything was delicious, and the raw fish was all very fresh and tasty. Only notes would be that the mango tango roll wasn’t as flavourful as we would’ve liked (mango was quite hard and very underripe - though I can appreciate it’s hard to find good mangoes this time of year!), and the crispy spicy salmon roll was not crispy (seemed as if it had been sitting out for quite a while). My favourite of the combo was the red dragon roll. Also worth noting that the presentation is lovely :) In short: a great spot, but not sure if it is *quite* worth the price point.

I ordered a sashimi party tray online today and specifically indicated that no arctic clam. I got 5 pieces of it when I open the box at home. Otherwise, the food quality in general is good! Anyway, just felt disappointed with the clam as I really do not like it by preferences l! Just one thing want to share is that…this is my 4th time ordering the same sashimi tray. Not every time the UNI is as good as the one I showed in the photo. Sometimes, it smell weird!

Google
Absolutely amazing sashimi platter! The seafood was incredibly fresh, beautifully arranged, and generously portioned. The salmon was buttery and rich, the tuna was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the shrimp had the perfect sweetness. The addition of scallops with caviar and ikura was a delightful touch. Every bite was a taste of perfection! Highly recommend for any seafood lover—this place truly knows how to serve high-quality sashimi. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
This is the BEST sushi you will ever get in Toronto. Everything is so well made and fresh, they were very generous with the fillings. The torched sushi was my favourite. Make sure to check prices first though because it is more on the pricey side :)

Google
So I got some sushi for my birthday! :) Lemme tell you their sashimi is THICK. Definitely worth the price! It was super fresh too- I even ate it the next day. I got the salmon set, torched set, chirashi don, and one of the combos I forgot I’m sorry. I ubered it so I cannot speak for the service or atmosphere, but the food was very good! Would love to go there in person!

Ordered delivery via Lieferando. The sashimi mixed platter was nice and fresh. The amount of food for the price wasn’t great but, considering the fact that sashimi is generally expensive and this place is in downtown Toronto, I have no complaints whatsoever. The enoki beef rolls I may have enjoyed even more. The sauce was not too sweet and the portion was very generous for the price, especially since it’s just an appetizer. Overall, the quality/quantity/price ratio at J San Sushi Bar is hard to beat in Toronto.

Google
Very affordable sushi takeout. Good quality and price. Everything is very fresh. The rice was a little bit plain (no taste/smell of vinegar mixed when cooking rice), but that is normal for what you would expect for regular sushi takeout. We ordered around 20.15 and the system shows pickup time 21.00. There are no other options to choose from however when we walked in there was a couple who ordered after us and got their order right away. I assumed they have priority for walk-in customers. It was a little bit busy with all the delivery pickup but at the end we got our order before pick up time.

Google
Ordered Party Tray E, and have tried Party Tray D, also ordered their lunch specials. Price is very affordable! This place consistently hits the spot for my sushi cravings! Some of the best quality fresh fish in Toronto. Everything is always fresh! Always looking forward to ordering with them again!

Yelp
Great sushi take out place with great value, beautifully packaged combos, fresh sashimi and quick service. This is a take out only location so there are no seating area. Cash discount upon payment.

Yelp
Amazing sushi. Each piece quite literally melted in my mouth and tasted so high quality. There was one particular fish in this set that both my partner and I did not like very much but aside from that, I'd give it a solid 9.5/10.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
It was decent sushi. They honoured our special request (no salmon no mayo) which was very appreciated. But everything tasted really sweet, it was strange! The rice, the sauce on the rolls, everything. Not for me.

Yelp
I ordered in or pick up at this location on their website over the last long weekend. The pick up process was seamless, the only situation that stressed me out a little was the street parking as I wasn't sure what to expect along Jarvis at 6pm on a Saturday. Luckily, I was able to find a parking spot in front of the restaurant so I made a quick run for my food. I bought the salmon combo and the deluxe roll combo for dinner and was the perfect portion for 2. I have always bought take out from the Woodbine location uptown, the downtown location did not disappoint and their quality is very consistent. Now that I know what to expect of their parking situation, I'd definitely order on their website for pick up again in the future.

Yelp
Service: ORDER ONLINE BEFOREHAND. They take some time to create your order and they don't have sit-in. They do have two chairs to wait but it's preferable that you order in advance and come pick it up. The system works well and you'll get a text when your order is ready for pick up. The service was quite quick and efficient. Food: The deep fried rolls were a bit overcooked and I wasn't a huge fan. The breadcrumbs were not like typical sushi places I've been to and the fish was overcooked and dry. I wouldn't recommend getting any of the deep fried rolls. Individual sushi were great though. The rice was ok, large rectangle portions but the aburi (torched) set is amazing. I really like their scallops and ikura. Great takeout option if you're in need of a quick bite. Food packaging was nice though!

Yelp
This is the best place I've had in Toronto for take out sushi and sashimi! The presentation is so thoughtful, love the takeout boxes the platters come in. We ordered their party tray D, bbq eel roll, edamame and vegetable tempura and it was enough to feed five of us! The fish is always so fresh and it comes with generous amounts of ginger, wasabi and soy sauce. They only do takeout and It's always busy but the service is great, super fast.
google avatar

Celia Z.

Yelp
Take out only. This is our go to place as their fish is always so fresh and their portions are great for the price. Service is minimal since it is take out but the times we've gone for pickup it has been fine. Love this place !

Yelp
J San Sushi Bar is one of the best spots for sushi takeout in the city, in my opinion. What I like best about this place: - High quality of sushi and sashimi (always fresh). - Very nice and elegant presentation and packaging. All food items are served in high-quality wooden-like boxes with proper lids, not styrofoam containers that most other take-out places use. It gives a "high-end" feel for take-out sushi. - The online ordering system is seamless for both pick-up / take-out and delivery. It gives quite a high amount of customizations you can make for each order (e.g. you can select 'no' to certain ingredients). - Quick and easy pick-up. After ordering online, they give a time estimate of when the food will be ready, and they send you a text message when the food is ready for pick-up. - Good rice-to-content ratio in the sushi rolls (more protein and content compared to rice). - They give the option of "no sauce" for the Unagi Donburi, which I appreciate. (I'm not a big fan of the sweet and sticky unagi sauce, but I like eel, so it's great that they provide this option.) J San is the only restaurant I've encountered (so far) that provides this option. When the Unagi Donburi came out, there is still a light touch of sauce on the unagi... just enough to make it flavourful, but not drenched in thick sweet sauce like in some other places. Even the yellow pickled radish it came with tasted fresh, crunchy, and not overly pickled-y. The downside for me was the Aburi / Torched Sushi Combo. I didn't like the sauces they put on the torched sushi (sweet yellow mango-like sauce on the salmon, tons of mayo on the shrimps and scallops). But all the other menu items (sushi, sashimi, donburi) are excellent.

Yelp
In general, the freshness is there and the delivery speed is exceptional. I have ordered twice now and both times, none of my notes were followed, which can be dangerous if you have food allergies that are easily avoided. I also asked for chopsticks and both times received none so I had to eat with my hands. The sashimi was very good, except for the tuna, which smelled and tasted exactly like the tuna cat food I used to give my cat 20 years ago. I don't think I can ever eat tuna sashimi again after this experience. The rest of the sashimi was excellent. The next order I asked for no tuna and they gave me double! I had to throw it out. I also chose "no egg" in their drop down menu and they gave me egg, which I also had to throw out. The avocado on the salad was plentiful so that was good. I would order again if I knew they could follow my notes.

Yelp
I almost want to leave this review out to keep delivery times quick for myself, but J San is probably one of the best and most consistent sushi places in downtown Toronto. You're likely here from ubereats and looking for a good deal, and I can confirm that J San delivers it. The sushi is quite fresh and has the deep fish flavours you expect in every piece of nigiri and sashimi. The rolls are better than expected, especially the spicy salmon roll, which packs a great salmon flavour with minimal tempura filler. The restaurant itself operates as a takeout only, so there is no service or ambiance component to this review.
google avatar

Emma H.

Yelp
The best sushi takeout in downtown area The sashimi are fresh & delicious and the food overall is tasty I rather order from here than other sushi takeout franchise The customer service is very fast and tentative
google avatar

Wade D.

Yelp
Large pieces super fresh and amazing. We will be ordering this again. We had the yellowtail, sashimi, salmon, sashimi, octopus, sashimi, and Uni sushi also ultimate dragon roll, spicy, tuna, crunchy and tempura shrimp amazing food all the way around.
google avatar

Tiffany O.

Yelp
Update: I've ordered a dozen more times and it's been amazingly consistent. Their sushi, rolls, and torched sushi continue to be fresh and delicious. I've made large orders for dinner parties too! They're my go to takeout sushi in downtown since they don't do dine in.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
If you are looking for reasonably priced and fresh sushi, look no further. We tried the deluxe sashimi combo, torched sushi combo and J San Roll. The sashimi was fresh and pretty thick pieces. The torched sushi was pretty good although I feel like they were slightly over cooked. I would not recommend the J san roll. I wasn't a fan of the cooked salmon inside the roll, and there was prob not enough sauce so it was quite tasteless. The place gets super busy during lunch/dinner hours. We called in right when they opened at 11 on a sat, and was told it will be ready 30-40mins. But it ended up taking us almost an hour to get our food. Make sure to call in early! There's 10% off for cash payment.

Yelp
(Note: review is for delivery) This might sound a bit weird, but the best way to describe J San is hefty. I got the torch sushi and roll combo delivered and it was big and packed and heavy. To be clear, that's not bad. I guess I just like my sushi a bit more refined, especially at the $20 price point. But that's just personal preference. There was nothing wrong with J San. Maybe they could've torched the salmon/tuna/scallop/shrimp a tad more, but they were all tasty nonetheless. And the accompanying dragon roll was a mouthful (in a good way). Overall, happy I tried it. Not sure I'd go back, but that's just me. I can see why J San is popular on here, and think it's definitely worth a try.
google avatar

Yelp
I was craving sashimi so I ordered their deluxe sashimi combo through delivery. I love how much care they put into even the delivery box. The sashimi is placed into a wooden box with (I think) radish at the bottom. The fish, shrimps and sweet eggs taste very fresh, and I didn't have any trouble the next day after finishing up one whole deluxe box all by myself. I would definitely recommend this as a special treat due to the higher price. Besides the sashimi combo, the torch sushi combo I ordered was also great. Absolutely no complaints there.
google avatar

Giselle T.

Yelp
4.6/5 This place is only takeout, however they were efficient with my roommates and I orders despite us ordering during the busier time. Overall the food was really good for the prices and seemed pretty fresh, I'm not an expert by any means but I am particular about the quality of fish I eat. My roommates loved their rolls as well, only had positive things to say. I would definitely come back here again.
google avatar

Alex C.

Yelp
Got the Party Tray A ($47.95) which comes with a bunch of different rolls. One of the best sushi places in Toronto. I have been here several times (5+) and the sushi is always super fresh. I've also gotten other dishes like the fried udon and fried rice and they are also very good too. Definitely recommend to get the rolls here however. The lunch specials ($12.99) here are also a relatively good deal. The lunch special is available every weekday from 11am-3pm and the item rotates every day. There is a discount too if you pay in cash.
google avatar

Yelp
Whenever we're in the area, we love to order J San. Their fish is typically very fresh. We love their chirashi, but unfortunately, they changed it and removed the furikake they used to put in between the rice. We've also tried their combos and party trays in the past, and they don't disappoint. .
google avatar

Maggie G.

Yelp
Ordered the Deluxe Chirashi Don on UberEats, for the price of $27 you get a nice variety of premium fish. Some of the cuts were a bit fishy, especially the octopus maybe because it was a Sunday night? I also wish the rice was softer and not a loose. Overall kind of bummed out, I had high hopes because of the good reviews and high rating for this place. Maybe down the road, ill give them a try again.

Yelp
This is a takeout store at the downtown location The food is AMAZING !!! Everything is fresh & beautifully presented This is my go-to sushi place
google avatar

Yelp
This place is impeccable. Always mouthwatering delicious at great price points . Love the sushi and wish it was a franchise. Would eat here everyday if I could

Yelp
This is definitely a hidden gem in Toronto! We loved all the sushi, sashimi, and rolls that we ordered. My favourite roll of all time is the J San Roll - there's so much flavour and it's made so well and is so filling! Their sashimi was great quality as well! Last time I checked they only do take out - not sure if that's changed recently, but pickup is pretty smooth. I just ordered on Ritual which is pretty convenient. Definitely a must try if you're in the area!
google avatar

Teresa V.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and each time I've been satisfied! Not only they are prompt with their orders but also their food is top notch! Super delicious, fresh, and beautiful presentation! I've recommended this place to a few coworkers and they all say the same thing: quality sushi with affordable pricing!
google avatar

Angela F.

Yelp
Have ordered from J San twice and it hasn't disappointed yet. I found the sushi was fresh and the rolls itself were large in size. It's also packed nicely in a wooden takeout box, making it look more premium than your average sushi takeout. Would come back here again to satisfy my sushi craving!
google avatar

Helen T.

Yelp
This is my second time ordering from this venue. Presentation and price wise they are definitely 4/5. The reason I am giving it a 3/5 is because I felt that the quality of my recent order was a little low. The uni and shrimp wasn't as fresh. Overall, given its proximity to the core, it's definitely a bang for your bucks. Previously I ordered their deluxe sashimi meal (18 pieces for 24$), aburi sushi. and rolls. As I wasn't the biggest fan of their aburi sushi or rolls (they were decent, just nothing special), my recent order only consisted of their deluxe sashimi meal.
google avatar

Maya L.

Yelp
After getting takeout here I'm not sure if I would get sushi takeout anywhere else in Toronto . We got a the Deluxe roll set combo (20pc) and torched sushi and roll combo (13pc). The rolls and nigiri sushi had great fish to rice ratio which was really surprising for the affordable price. My favourite is the ultimate dragon roll set and the torched sushi. The fish was fresh, and the flavours were amazing! I would highly recommend getting take out here, amazing value.

Yelp
J San Sushi Bar is a sushi restaurant located near the intersection of Jarvis/Dundas where they serve a variety of Japanese food, mainly sushi and sashimi. I've been seeing others try this place so I was curious about their quality and price as well (and their packaging is on point!). I can't say much about how big the restaurant is as it is currently take out only due to pandemic restrictions. I was able to order on the website where the restaurant texts you an approximate pick up time (took about 25-30 min). Upon arriving at the restaurant, my order was completed where I promptly picked up my food. I opted to pay for my food in cash since I got a 10% discount. As for the items I selected, I ordered 2 J san combos (the deluxe sashimi combo and torched sushi and roll combo) as well as a uni nigiri sushi (comes with 2 pieces). Price wise, definitely very reasonable pricing! Food wise, the presentation of the sushi was definitely unique with the wooden boxes. Both my combos tasted great and the quality of the fish was good. The uni nigiri was also loade with sea urchin. Overall, great sushi place round Jarvis and Dundas. Would not hesitate to order from them again!

Yelp
J San hits the spot! Stumbled across this place on Uber Eats last year, and I keep finding myself ordering every month. I'm a big fan of their Deluxe Chirashidon and I've never been disappointed yet with the variety and freshness of the offerings. To date, I've seen a familiar rotation of sweet shrimp, tamago, hamachi, uni, salmon belly, salmon roe, and scallop, alongside the staples of salmon, tuna, and octopus. Always a great surprise to see creamy uni or sweet scallops in my box. Tucked underneath the 15 pieces of premium sashimi is a bed of Japanese rice that's perfectly cooked, sprinkled with just enough furikake throughout to give some extra flavour. I've also tried their normal Chirashidon for $8 less than the Deluxe just to compare the difference, and their Deluxe Sashimi Combo - in my opinion, you're better off with the Deluxe Chirashidon (more bang for your buck). Not sure if I was unlucky with my orders, but the former 2 seem to be quite inconsistent with the quality of the fish. Nothing exciting and screaming at me for repeat orders. I've got no complaints about their torched sushi - simply delicious. Playing some favouritism here, but you guessed it, I still prefer and recommend their Deluxe Chirashidon over anything else. Some minor comments on their sashimi cuts though - although I enjoy thick cuts, I do wish they would slice certain offerings thinner. Most common is a thick cut of hamachi, where it actually resembles a large chunk rather than a beautiful slice of fish. I also wish the daikon is tucked underneath the cucumber, rather than the other way around - sometimes I don't realize the sashimi is resting against the daikon until I see slight discoloration from the pickling. Just my personal preference. If you're ever in the area, give this place a try!
google avatar

Sally L.

Yelp
Great spot for quality sashimi. I recommend the premium chirashi bowl and torched sushi. Sashimi is fresh. I order on ritual to avoid the wait. There's no sit down and only takeout. They also have daily lunch specials.
google avatar

Anne L.

Yelp
Great spot! A great go-to for take out sushi that is great value and delicious. I got the Friday lunch special here was was very happy with the experience. I walked by and decided to check this spot out. I noticed it was quite busy (in a good way), lots of people coming and going with their orders. I would highly recommend placing your order in advance online to avoid the wait.
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Picked up a torched sushi and roll combo for lunch which came with 5 different pieces of sushi and 8 pieces of a roll. The food was fresh, smokey from the torching and the rice was cooked well and seasoned properly. 13 pieces doesn't sound like a lot but it was quite filling since the roll was packed with ingredients. I'd say it was priced very reasonably for this quality of food. It was also packaged in a pretty wooden square box. Service was friendly.
google avatar

Erin Y.

Yelp
Ordered the torched sushi & roll combo with a side of seaweed salad for takeout over lunch. It came delivered super fresh and tasty ! Would highly recommend and the portion sizes were generous especially with the seaweed salad !
google avatar

Jess L.

Yelp
Can always count on J San for good quality sushi for a decent price! I have only gotten take out from here & can't wait to be able to dine in as the consistent quality of the take out we get is on point. We usually order a variety from sashimi to sushi to desserts and it's now the go to for sushi on Ubereats. Bonus is the great packaging they do for take out that looks great and is sturdy enough for delivery drivers to never have an issue!
google avatar

Ling M.

Yelp
Had delivery from here and I have to say the presentation was super on point! Instead of styrofoam takeout boxes, the sushi is beautifully arranged and presented in a fancy box with clear cover. This really elevates the dine at home experience and perfect for date nights. The rolls itself were delicious. Would order from here again!
google avatar

Tim C.

Yelp
The Deluxe Chirashi usually contains salmon, tuna, botan ebi, hamachi, ikura, and a piece of salmon belly (sometimes depending on availability, you'll get toro and/or uni). The pieces have always been fresh and of high quality. The last deluxe chirashi I got didn't have uni :( but the 3 pieces of toro really hit the spot and made up for it. The prices are amazing for the quality that you get, especially downtown. For higher quality than this, one would have to go to Jabistro or something and pay at least double. Too bad you guys don't have a more extensive sushi menu, with things like hokkaidon and sushi omakase of the best 10-15 pieces. If you guys were to have a nigiri sushi omakase, I would definitely try it out. Of course most things depend on availability, but if you guys can keep the Deluxe Chirashi ingredients more consistent (having botan ebi, uni, and toro all/most of the time) that would be the best. Quality: 9/10. Service: 9/10. Value: 9/10. Overall: 9 out of 10.
google avatar

Helen H.

Yelp
Would definitely return and recommend. I've done both walk in for pickup as well as Uber eats and it's always been a great experience. The sushi is very, very fresh. Portions are reasonably sized as well. The upcharge on Uber is a bit rough but overall it's packed very neatly and I've never had any issues. They give you a healthy serving of ginger and wasabi. The soy sauce is also delicious. Look forward to coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
So fresh !Efficient service takeout restaurant easy to place order. Sushi was great !
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Ordered this for a picnic saturday afternoon via rituals!the torched nigiri was delicious and i also got the premium sashimi which was delicious as well. The only thing that was medicore was the roll that came in the nigiri and roll box. Saddened that they didnt have utensils in the order and we realized when we were at the park... overall delicious and reasonable price!
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Perfectly torched and flavourful. I got the ultimate dragon roll and torched nigiri combo "torch sushi and roll combo". Everything was very fresh and tasty. Good portion size as well. I love the taste of torched sushi. Will definitely be ordering take out again. Very pretty packaging as well. The only thing I did not like was the overwhelming amount of tempura bits in the sushi. It's not my favourite as it is a big filler.
google avatar

Angela Y.

Yelp
Few of ya'll have asked what my go-to sushi spots are DT and unfortunately I haven't found many average-priced spots that are that great. Aside from a few premium spots (Ex. Yasu, Sushi Kaji), I prefer midtown or uptown for my sushi fix. But sometimes you just want an affordable and bigger sushi platter to share amongst friends, and I think J San is one of the better options. This order was "Party Tray B" (1 tray of 2 pictured) which consists of all rolls and a total of 62 peices for $65. It included the California, spicy salmon, crispy salmon, salmon avocado, red dragon, green dragon and dragon eye rolls. The rice isn't soggy like alot of places and the roll pieces are pretty packed with filling. I also like how they pay attention to detail from the packaging to other small details. I do wish the menu had more premium cuts of fish and higher quality uni, but its not a dealbreaker. I wouldn't say its the best of the best, but it is the best for simple and affordable sushi downtown
google avatar

Quynh P.

Yelp
Ordered for takeout on 05/23/21. Nothing memorable but it gets points for A tier packaging compared to other restaurants. Deluxe sashimi combo $23.95 x 2 Ultimate dragon roll $11.95 Ikura sushi $5.95 + tax = 74.35
google avatar

Lo C.

Yelp
Tip: Beware that there is no parking lot available so you will have to park on the street and dash in and out. Great new sushi option and the downtown core. The space is brightly lit and clean. I'm guessing it's going to be very popular once the restrictions lift. The system to order online was very easy (you can also schedule for a later time as well). 1. Red Dragon roll: The torch scorched salmon on top was delicious. The shrimp was a pretty good size. & the sauce on top was the perfect complement to put it all together. 2. This is sashimi was fresh and thickly sliced. Pricing here is competitive and comparable to other downtown locations. Portions and quality are quite worth the price.

Ajara B.

Yelp
Not a bad place if you are looking for decent sushi or Japanese cuisine in general. They offer a wide variety of sushi options, nigiri and sashimi, as well as udon and fried rice for a fair price (prices are comparable and even a little more affordable compared to some other sushi places in Toronto. All the menu items are similar to other places so it is nothing special or unique. I haven't been to this place and my review is solely based on a delivery experience and it was generally a positive experience. However, I won't be returning here as there is nothing that puts this place apart from other places.
google avatar

Annie L.

Yelp
This spot is extremely busy and always has a line up. Recommended to order online in advance and even if you do, go later as it won't be ready in time. The price point is really good here, however the quality is only a little above average. You pay for what you get. The rice is the downfall as its not sushi rice. Its loose rice that always breaks apart. Some fish are fresh but not always. I guess it depends on what day of the week you go. It's like rolling the dice.
google avatar

Kate T.

Yelp
SO fresh and delish Highly recommend their deluxe chirashi don with uni (sea urchin, hard to find fresh uni here since I've cracked open live urchins in Vancouver!) and ikura (cured salmon roe , also last had good fresh homemade ikura in Vancouver). Tons of generously portioned seafood in this. At $20 this chirashi don is a steal don't forget to tip the restaurants, they need that income since normally servers portion out some of their tips for the kitchen. Will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Nadia B.

Yelp
If you're like me and skeptical at all the good reviews prior to ordering - then here's the review for you. Honestly, this place is legit - it's SO good. Ordered through Uber eats (a bit pricey there tbh but good value/worth it). We ordered two combo sets, which I really commend doing to get a variety of items + a good deal. The presentation is super cute, which was appreciated BUT the food was amazing. The sushi is so fresh and doesn't have a tiny bit of that fishy aftertaste - it's like buttery. I really recommend the deluxe rolls combo and any torched rolls.

Yelp
This restaurant opened around November and is probably among a handful of my best sushi spots around downtown Toronto. I ordered through Uber Eats (each item is marked up ~$2) since I live too far to pick up. The order came neatly packaged with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger on the side. Overall, beautiful presentation, fresh ingredients, and decently good value despite being on the pricier side! The Torched Sushi and Roll Combo was my favourite as the torched sushi (especially the salmon) tasted delicious and the ultimate dragon roll was loaded with flavour. The J San Roll was also very tasty, and the crispy seaweed layer gave a nice crunch to contrast the soft/chewy texture of the rice and fish. The Deluxe Sashimi Combo was very fresh and the tamago was a lovely addition, but I am not a fan of ebi (shrimp) sashimi, which I haven't seen being commonly served elsewhere.

This place is probably one of the yummiest sushi spot around downtown area! I highly recommend getting the torched sushi since it has a distinctive smoky/wok-y taste. The rice seasoning was on point which was a big plus for me. Also, the rice-fish ratio was just perfect. :) In terms of value, this place is relatively cheap. We ordered for pick up for 4 people and it was only $80 with tip. Highly recommend! :)
