JA Hatta Fort Hotel

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Firstly the Staff are absolutely amazing. So accommodating with a beautiful and polite manner. Secondly the facilities on-site are great- so many things for our family to choose from. Then comes the huge selection of off-site activities which add to this staycation. The beautiful wadi hub, the hatta dam and the bee farm! Everything is safe and easy to get to. Thirdly, the food, the small BUT varied selection is just perfect! Everyone from kids, teens to adults were satisfied and the quality was much better than some of the more higher end hotels! Finally, the rooms - spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. Did i mention the STAFF - they were just amazing! Thank you TEAM HATTA FORTE!

This family friendly hotel is with a scenery of the amazing hajar mountains. With just an hour and a half drive from Dubai you will really feel the tranquility away from the noisy city. Rooms are clean, spacious good for family. Staff are ready friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Jeema, Fortunate, Asyha, Praveen and the security guard forgot their names for our wonderful stay. I highly recommend this place specially for kids as they have a mini zoo huge pool and lots of adventure.

Absolutely loved our stay at JA Hatta Fort! The scenery was breathtaking, and the service was top-notch. Our cabin was cozy and comfortable, with an amazing view of the mountains. The pools and recreational activities were a great way to unwind. We had a yummy breakfast and dinner too! Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with the family!

A wonderful stay with plenty of activities to keep our 9 year old busy and off the screen ! Kite flying, mini golf, archery, animal feeding, horse rides and a recreation room were all a big hit. Breakfast had an array of choices with live egg station. Many food options for lunch and dinner. Food was high quality. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. A special shout out to Sameera and Inman for their kindness and making the trip a memorable one for our son. Hotel was at capacity but didn’t feel crowded. Highly recommended for families.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! We stayed in a terq cabin, which was very spacious—perfect even for a family of five to sleep comfortably. The room was clean, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is ideal for families with kids, offering plenty of entertainment options such as table tennis, ping pong, pool tables, and air hockey. There was also a mini zoo, and the zookeeper (a very kind gentleman from Pakistan) was incredibly friendly and supportive. A big thank you to him for his explanations and the lovely snapshots! All the staff members were so friendly, polite, and helpful. The food was delicious, and we truly loved everything about this venue, set in a breathtaking landscape. Thank you very much to the entire team—we look forward to visiting again!

This was our first time in Hatta and also first time travelling in the UAE with our doggy and we loved every moment in this resort! The place is incredible, a true oasis of peace surrounded by the mountains! We loved the nice walks with our dog in the beautiful and relaxing gardens, between palmtrees and flowers, the view from the viewpoint is amazing and our dog enjoyed climbing the rocks. Sunset is stunning from above the Rock Pool. Food is amazing, especially the breakfast with a choice of everything to accommodate all nationalities. We were able to sit at the terasse with our dog and it was very nice. The Gazebo staff are super nice! The 2 pools are great, we liked the Rock pool, but unfortunately it was out of service one day during our stay but it s ok as we were able to use the other pool. The staff at the pool (sorry we forgot the name) was always so kind and always came to accommodate our doggy with a mat and some water in a bowl. Many hotels wont let doggies at the pool area, but here he was allowed and it was great. All the employees in general were so nice and lovely, very kind and welcoming. Thaw Thaw was so friendly, Aisha at the reception was very helpfull and kind, the other receptionist was always smiling and friendly as well. Reception manager greeted us very warmly upon arrival and everyone was always very nice with our Pet, we really felt he was loved and accepted. Also he was welcomed with treats in the room and 2 bowls plus a mat for his food, they gifted him also a small bandana. The place is perfect for pets, the room is so beautiful and cozy in all details (pet friendly Deluxe mountain view) the balcony as a metalic grid so no one can escape :) we appreciated the coffee maker in the room and the Italian coffee (i am Italian). Bedding was comfy and bathroom amazing. Everything is very well maintained and there is a lot of attention in all details. We just wished the TV would be "smart" for the evenings movie nights ;) We didnt try all the activities, as we were just relaxing and staying with our doggy, but maybe next time when the weather will be cooler! The only downside for me personally, it's the use of dynamic pricing for the room rates, since it becomes a bit complicated to plan a trip, as from one day to another the price can change significantly, but I can understand that this is the way the business works. Also the pet fee was not very clear during the booking process, as there is a sanification fee of 250d which appears by default in the reservation but then there is a 50d per day pet fee on top of that to be paid at the hotel, which is not clearly stated during the booking. I personally felt it is a bit overpriced, since the pet friendly room is already more expensive than the same room not pet friendly, but thats my personal opinion. We were very happy anyways, See you again! And thanks for the hospitality!!!

Dear JA Hatta fort, From start to finish everything was impeccable! 5 star service all around from Fortunate on the reception desk to Praveen and Peyasa greeting us for dinner. The hospitality displayed was second to none and everyone was so kind to us. What is more, the staff seem to really enjoy working at this resort and the manager even came to speak with us about how our stay was going, showing she is in touch with her customers, extending our welcome further. The spa is wonderful- the treatment was fairly priced and well delivered. The views and scenery were fantastic. We enjoyed seeing the animals- the man who took us around was most helpful encouraging us to feed the animals and putting any nerves at ease. We saw tortoises, deer, rabbits and goats! Even the men at the exit barrier were friendly- helping us to cross the road safely when we took a visit to the supermarket. The men who drove the caddys helped us with getting to and from the terra cabins. The accommodation itself was a real glamping experience! The projector was incredible and the air con hit amazingly. Finally, we loved playing tennis on the well maintained courts, as well as the pool spaces. Thank you very much for our unforgettable stay.

Disappointing Stay - Aging Property That Falls Short of Expectations. I just returned from a stay at Hatta Fort Hotel and unfortunately must express my disappointment. Despite a few positive aspects, the overall experience is far from satisfactory for an establishment of this standing. Major negative points: The mattress was far too hard, making nights uncomfortable. For a hotel, this is unacceptable - guest sleep should be an absolute priority. The property gives an impression of being unfinished and outdated. The premises are visibly old and in serious need of renovation. The game room equipment is completely outdated and uninviting. The air conditioning is extremely noisy, which doesn't help with the uncomfortable mattress problem. Impossible to get a restful night's sleep under these conditions. The dinner buffet is really basic - very disappointing and absolutely does not justify the price charged. One expects better from a hotel establishment. Complete absence of evening entertainment. The hotel seems to shut down after dinner, leaving guests to fend for themselves with no activity options whatsoever. The few positive points: The breakfast is diverse and of good quality - it's the only meal that satisfied me. The staff is friendly and the service is decent. The rooms are clean, which is the minimum expected. Conclusion: These few positive aspects unfortunately do not compensate for the numerous flaws of this establishment. Hatta Fort Hotel needs significant investment to modernize and improve guest comfort. In its current state, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not return. The value for money is clearly not there.
