"How did it strike you on arrival? One of the oldest hotels in the country, JA Hatta Fort is an oasis in the desert. Just an hour outside of the city and set against the Al Hajar Mountains, the hotel is a quaint hideaway. Nice. What’s the crowd like? The hotel draws many Dubai locals and travelers from around the region. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.Spacious rooms have balconies with mountain views, and are surprisingly fresh and modern given the property's age. The decor is subtly Arabic-inspired, and rooms have charming white-beamed ceilings. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down.Bathrooms are basic, with a walk-in shower and large tub, but, like the rooms, are spacious. Products are by Elemis. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word?Free. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you.The grounds are home to many different activities, all included: there's a six-hole mini-golf course, tennis courts, billiards, snooker, and air hockey among them. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The sheer serenity, coupled with expansive mountain views, make it well-worth a weekend outside the city."

From check-in to check-out, this resort delivered an unforgettable experience. The services were top-notch, and every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warmth, patience, and professionalism truly stood out. The food was simply outstanding—every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Hats off to the chefs! Our room was spacious, cozy, and immaculately maintained, with thoughtful attention to every detail and amenity. The resort also offered a delightful mini zoo and fun activities like archery and air gun shooting, with staff carefully explaining all safety rules to ensure an enjoyable time. A big kudos to the management and entire team for creating such a special and comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

A relaxing mountain retreat with family amidst Hajar mountains. The place was just awesome. The drive took more than 90mins, yes, it’s me on the driver seat again!|Loved staying in the terra cabins, it felt the place was our own, the view in the morning at night looking at the mountains was serene. Children enjoyed the activities, a must return when the climate gets cooler. Thankyou Leena and team for arranging this. Special mention for the warm welcome extended by Deborah.

Me along with my friends decided to be out of the city. Upon entering the resort it already feels homey, the greenery landscape and scenery was a topnotched. i thought we are in New Zealand 🤗 Upon arrival Ayan welcomed us with his warmth smile and help us with our luggaes and lead us to reception. Ayesha did the full introduction and explained all the details of our stay and activities available in the resort. From her explanation the joy in her heart reflected how happy she was for us that we have chose JA Hayta Fort to stay. And there is Fortunate who helped us with our requests always with her cheeful smile that melts our hearts 😍 A big thank you as well to Barath and Ali who is always available to accompany us wherever we need them and with the current weather it helps a lot to be more comfortable with the ride. And of course Leo and Piyasa from the restaurant welcomed us at the buffet, with their service and smile its more exciting to always dine. And to highlight the master Sunil who has unlocked our talent. And he explain very well the safety and security before starting activities and patiently teach us. Ineed JA Hatta Fort is a home away from home with a superstar staff. Highly recommended! Who says Hatta is closed? definitely not JA Hatta Fort.

Had a lovely time at this resort during our weekend getaway. The rooms were spacious, comfy, and had a gorgeous view. We also really enjoyed the food—especially the breakfast buffet! The resort grounds were stunning—lush landscaping, immaculate pools, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. All in all, a perfect spot to unwind. Would happily come back!

Beautiful, old-world hotel with excellently trained, helpful, friendly staff. The rooms are large, with generous bed sizes. Grounds are beautiful and well kept and two sparkling pools make your visit so much better. Jeema restaurant prepares delicious meals, Only let-down are their desserts. Apparently there are quite a few activities, but as we went in summer, did not partake. Can fully recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff.

Hello, Overall, the hotel is great — it offers a stunning view with beautiful mountains, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I was traveling with my dog, and while checking in, one of the managers (a very sweet Filipina lady, she didn’t introduce herself) played with my dog, gave him treats, and even put a little scarf on him — such a lovely gesture that made us feel very welcome. We stayed in the pet-friendly Terra Cabin. Pros: the room came with dog bowls and some food, which was a thoughtful touch. Cons: the Terra Cabins are located quite far from the main hotel area, so you always have to wait for a buggy to get around. This usually takes at least 10–15 minutes, which can be inconvenient at times. Another downside is that while the hotel is pet-friendly, the restaurant is not. Since we had already checked out, I couldn’t leave my dog in the room and had to dine outside on the terrace in 39°C heat, which was quite uncomfortable. It would be great if there was a shaded or indoor dining space that allowed pets, especially considering how hot the weather is. Aside from that, the hotel has plenty of activities and things to do, and overall it’s a very enjoyable place to stay.

Love the property...it's even bigger than I expected. I feel the location is definitely overrated. There is a scenic viewpoint at the Al Raha...where you see the entire Hatta. The food was good at Gazebo, apart from that there are good restaurants nearby. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful..me and my husband stayed at a Terra Cabin loved the view from there. Would come soon! Big shout-out to Ayesha and the reception & housekeeping Staff.

Bed and pillows were sooooo fluffy and comfortable! I had the best sleep ever.|Amazing breakfast!|Room was very very clean, I’ve been to 5 stars hotel and haven’t had a room this clean ever!|Finally, my most favourite experience, the spa! I had an aromatherapy massage with Juliet and it was like a restart for me, her attention to detail to maintain my ultimate level of comfort and relaxation has not gone unnoticed.|Thank you JA Hatta Fort for this wonderful stay experience.
