Worst coffee experience… got 2 drinks, taste awful… it’s basically coffee mixed with milk and cinnamon powder, mocha powder… the barista was rude about redeem gift card, one drink was 7.51, she just took away my whole gift card without letting me use the remaining balance on the next item.

Great little coffee shop with vegan treats. Unfortunately the chocolate v-treat was sold out and I couldn’t believe the tiny little muffin was almost $6! The espresso tastes good but one minute out the door and the ice was melted so I didn’t enjoy it much. I understand, it was a hot day but was such a bummer. Apple Pay of course!

If you feel like having a nice cup of coffee this is it. They have an amazing variety of drinks and coffee. The staff is very kind and friendly, especially the cute Colombian guys.

Mediocre coffee, cramped sitting area, high prices, adversarial service. With five better options in a two-block radius, I’m confused about why someone would go here.

Decent coffee place in the area staff is friendly. I was in the area for a project early in the morning so stopped here for coffee and a snack. Latte was good overall I would say the coffee stated a slight bit over Roasted but other than. The good experience.

I stop in this cozy coffee shop in Tribeca on my way to work in the mornings. Great coffee and friendly staff

Had an overnight stop in New York and wanted an alternative to some of the major coffee brands. It was very early on a Saturday so this place was the only one open. It didn’t disappoint and the barista was super cool.

Don’t get any espresso drinks here, stick to the cold brew and drip coffee. I ordered a flat white but it was more a cup of burnt milk. The cold brew and filter is nice and strong though.

Great place to walk-in. You're always greeted with a smile and positive vibes to begin your day. The place is small but quaint. Optimal seating for a quick cup and small treat. Staff feels like a little family, service is great and they always remember my order! Wonderful little neighborhood gem! Little shout-out to Devon. If you see her working she will absolutely make your day.

As a barista for several years and working with coffee on a day to day basis, I can adamantly say that this was the single worst cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. I've had bad coffee, sure, but definitely not anything like this. For starters, the beans roast is terrible. I'm not sure what kind of blend/single origin they use but I can assure you that there is no flavor besides the disgusting burntness from the drink. Honestly I wouldn't even be able to tell if the beans they used were trash because the roast was infinitely worse. Secondly, the milk was so hot it was scorching the roof of my mouth. Usually you want the milk to be at around 175-180° but this drink was over 200°; another reason it was undrinkable. Please if you're in the area, make sure you avoid this chain by all means.

I ordered a hot chocolate, one of the easiest things to make. Tasted like straight milk, no flavor whatsoever. Actually one of the worst coffee shops I've been to. Highly do not recommend wasting money coming here.

When I think of Jack's I'll always think of the time I bumped into Carol from RHONY and her chef bf at the time, making out in front of this coffee shop on a crisp fall morning. Anyway. This location in particular does have decent coffee. However, I'm not sure if they have terrible hours or terrible staffing but the lady that works here doesn't seem to be in a good mood, ever. Idk. It's NYC, I'm just spending two minutes here to grab coffee so I can deal. My jam is their iced lattes with almond milk.

Went to Jack's outdoor takeout window this morning. Waited patiently for about 5 minutes while the person working behind the counter serviced the couple in front of me. Did not say a word. While I was waiting another woman joined the line behind me. When the woman who was working at Jack's was ready for me, she just looked past me at the woman who was clearly standing behind me and said you are next. She could have asked who is next, but chose to do what she did. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ordered a house coffee and a latte both were very good and reasonably priced. Baked goods looked good too.

You can do it better! The way you talked, they way you asked. The coffee is good by the way Ps. No pressure, No other customers

Came around noon. Worst mocha ever. Watery, no flavor. Cashier was surly, i just stood there while she exchanged stories with her coworker - never acknowledged me before she finally took my order. Even then she never looked up, never made eye contact. Barista was friendly enough, but the coffee was awful.

I got the iced latte with vanilla syrup through the Ritual app for $1, and with the extra of vanilla syrup and tax it was ~$2. I don't really have any complaints for this place. The order was ready in a timely manner and it was quick and easy to pick up. Wouldn't say it was exceptional coffee, but it got the job done.

My go-to spot for 3 or 4 times a week for morning/afternoon Matcha lattes. Both the gals working there never fail to brighten my day and make me smile and laugh. Great drinks and great vegan and non-vegan pastries. Keep up the good work.

Ugh went last week....coffee was horrendous... watered down... tasted old... Luke warm... ugh. I told the girl, she said that's the coffee that's brewed and that's that. Very nasty to me. It was a total waste of money... too bad I work in the area and as much as I want to see small businesses do well this one really sucks.

Today Jack opened the latest store in his chain of coffee shops featuring his patented--by him--stir-brewer. To celebrate, he gave out free coffee all day! I have suggested to him he might open a location in my neighborhood, where Starbucks is gearing up to open its latest superstore at St. Mark's and Avenue A. Currently, most of his shops are located in the West Village and Tribeca, with one free-standing store in Amagansett, Long Island. (And one store down on Front Street.) Damn fine coffee. And all his shops sell vegan baked goods, which go half-price at 5 P.M. And don't forget his signature coffee drinks like the "Mountie" (with maple syrup) and "Dirty Harry." I'm glad to have another Jack's to stop at--can't have too many Jack's!

Very warm and giving atmosphere. Really like the energy given by the staff. They are very helpful, knowledgable and make me laugh every time. This is why I always return. My co-worker always had a cup of coffee from this establishment and I really loved the design of their logo. Finally made my way over and they were very patient with my indecisiveness. Went for the Apple Jack and instantly knew this would be my new go to for breakfast. If you are ever in the area, pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I am so happy this location stayed open! This is my neighborhood go to. Tracy and the staff are so kind and always have a nice word for me and my dogs. We go there everyday rain or shine. Tracy always has my perfect ice coffee with just the right amount of mild without me having to ask. Jack's coffee is outstanding but employees make a business thrive. And this team is outstanding. And just great people and place. They have a window opening onto the street which was great for the pandemic and quick run by service.

Cute small space. Small coffee ran me $4.50....I mean the coffee is smooth and tasty but should not be priced at that much. She had already poured me the cup of coffee before I was told the price...oh well at least I got to try the coffee out but not again.

This is the first and the last time I have been to this place. I asked for a cold brew coffee without ice, which you have to pay extra for. Barista asked if I want it plain, no sugar and no milk, which I agreed to. I was super excited for my plan black cold brew. However, what I got was: 60% of the cup of cold brew and 40% of tap water. It was really watered down and tasted terrible. Definitely not something you want to pay $6 for. The only reason why I am rating it two stars is that this place is nice looking one, and the staff is nice and polite.

The huge, comfy couches are such a plus when you're really in need of a good place to relax and drink coffee. I was in the mood for something fruity and hot so I ventured out and got their green tea matcha latte. It was a bit on the pricy side but the consistency was good with very little foam on top (which I like) and the temperature was piping hot, always good on a very cold day when it'll cool down anyways. The service was a tiny bit slow since not many other people were there but I wasn't in a rush anyways. The service was very friendly though, the server was very cheery and polite. I would like to come back with my laptop and do some work here since the couches were so comfortable and it is a very big, open space. Overall I had a good experience here.

I never bother to write bad reviews but my recent experience actually warrants people going elsewhere for coffee. First the barista forgot to add an espresso shot into an order. The orderer had just left when they realized and neither person went to even attempted to wave her down to correct the issue. I was next in line. Six minutes later I mentioned other people behind me were getting their coffee while I had not. I got a blank stare from the barista and he continued to make other people's orders. At the 8 minute mark the other woman at the counter gave me a coffee. No apologies given. I left. I drank the coffee...of course it was luke warm. Don't waste your money here! Also without a certification saying 'shade grown' is about as accountable as saying 'all-natural'.

Jack's Stir Brew Coffee was very amazing and extremely affordable. Delicious menu items and excellent service. Every single item that we have ordered was extra fresh and flavorful. The staff members made certain I was helped and answered all my questions very politely and enthusiastically. Jack's Stir Brew Coffee... Go there, if you can.

The staff is so cheerful. Lots of vegan baked goods if you're into that and a really great selection of specialty coffees and the regular choices (including hot cider!). They also have a coffee-to-go window where you can order from the sidewalk if you're in a hurry or if you're walking your dog! It's a small location but happy to have his in the neighborhood and it's a nice spot to meet up with friends or catch up on work. There are 4 small tables for two people each and outlets as well.

Finally I have a tasty local coffee spot! Popped in for a Sunday iced coffee and was delighted by the creative options and also some amazing vegan baked goods. Tony and Devon helped me and were funny and led me to the perfect drink... the Mountie. Cinnamon, maple iced. They have a loyalty program which I love as an avid coffee drinker. Lookin forward to my next visit.

Didn't expect it but, Jack's Stir Brew Coffee was definitely terrific. This place is unbelievable. Every thing was fresh, flavorful, and really tasty. The team is absolutely a highlight of this place because they are always fast, courteous, and provide service with a smile! Incredible.

Excellent bakery selection. We tried the oatmeal cream pie and the apple cider donut. Coffee was great to. So nice to find a vegan bakery and coffee shop to Drop into and grab a quick snack

Let me tell you, Jack's Stir Brew Coffee was really incredible. Despite the location, the rates weren't outrageous. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. The staff members are very helpful. Jack's Stir Brew Coffee - You guys are awesome!

Cute spot! Window ordering option if you're in a rush. About 10 tight seats in the place but they maximize their space. Amazing baked goods made in house: banana chocolate chip, medium sized donuts (less guilt!), a couple different type of muffins and a homemade pop tart. Latte cost me 4.50$ but it's NY and they gotta afford this rent. Drink came out fast. Staff is friendly, greeting with a happy 'good morning' as soon as you reach the door.

Man behind the cash register was SO rude to me because I forgot to tell him hot or iced. Literally nasty and then spoke over me when I tried to reply. There was no one behind me, I wasn't holding up the line. Meanwhile I'm ordering three coffees and spending over $25 at their business. It was an awful start to my day and I wish I went to one of the many other amazing cafes in the area.

They're fast but quality of the coffee depends on who is making it. Better places to go in the hood if your order is a matcha latte (Hungry Ghost, Laughing Man, Interlude). Other coffees are fine. They do have delicious donuts though.

I came here on break from jury duty and had the maple and cinnamon Mountie latte which was absolutely delicious. I would get this drink all the time if I lived close by. One drawback is that there are no restrooms.

Didn't expect it but, Jack's Stir Brew Coffee was certainly fantastic. Was actually surprised with the area where this is located. Every single item that we ordered was super fresh and delicious. The crew is very attentive and ensure that the customers are satisfied. Jack's Stir Brew Coffee, If you haven't been here before, you're certainly missing out.

This place is simply the best. I come here every day before work and the coffee is absolutely delicious. I think it's the staff, however, that keeps people coming back to this charming Tribeca nook that feels like a home away from home. Every single person who works there is warm and inviting. Literally the best coffee. And I am not a coffee person. The location is also perfect. It's quiet, perfect to easily grab a coffee with a mate. They have several locations in Manhattan, if you love the coffee. Although, I wish they had better seating area to stay here. It's amazing but you won't know until you have tried it.

The staff is great and always friendly. Love the vegan pastries and tables to sit at. But Im not sure why they are charging close to $8 for an almond milk matcha latte?! Yes, I know almond milk is extra. Yes, I know matcha is generally more expensive than coffee-- but almost $8 for a tiny matcha latte? (which also doesn't taste like ceremonial grade, mind you. It's very bitter and muddy green, I couldn't even finish it). There are tons of places around the city that charge around $5-6 for a (ceremonial grade) matcha latte-- I would reccomend that they rethink their pricing for their matcha, or at least get better quality matcha if they insist on charging that much.

New coffee shop next door to my son's eye doctor. Popped in before an appointment and grabbed an iced matcha tea and a couple of juices from the fridge. All delicious. Service was super friendly and they enjoyed the antics from my hyped up toddler. Would definitely come back.

I love coming to Jack's for my latte in the morning. The service is the best, and the staff is SO personable! The workers could not be friendlier and my hot drink is always prepared to my liking! Thank you!:)

Best coffee house in all of Manhattan! Excellent staff, management and atmosphere! I won't go anywhere else for my coffee!!!!

This place used to be really great when it first opened. Now that they've settled into the neighborhood the staff does seem to care about image anymore. Always goofing around, even when costumers are waiting on drinks. I've had to wait over 10 minutes for a drink while the staff talked about how one of their dates went last night. Other jack stores don't seem to have this problem at all but maybe that's due to the amount of downtime there is at this reade street store.
