Naill Horan and Hozier Watched Irish Rugby at Austin Irish Pub at ACL | Eater Austin

"A Texas comfort-food mini-chain is opening its sixth location in Hutto’s Co-Op District at 420 Highway 79 in summer 2024; this will be the company’s first restaurant built from the ground up (rather than taking over an older space) and will serve lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, plus cocktails, wines, and beers." - Nadia Chaudhury

My family and I came here for dinner and our experience was amazing. Our wait was 15 to 20 minutes. We were able to sit outside in the patio and enjoy the nice weather and the view of the pond and water fountain. The weather wasn’t too hot or chilly. We arrived here during happy hour and had like an hour left to enjoy the half off prices on drinks and appetizers. All of our drinks were amazing and were made just right. We ordered the nachochitos for our appetizer and it was delicious. My wife ordered the chorizo pork chops, my daughter and I ordered hamburgers. Everything was tasting delicious and amazingly fresh. For the burger the meat is normally cooked to medium but our waitress let us know and asked it was okay for us. So be aware and if medium cooked is not your thing then let them know when ordering your burger. Parking is a breeze because there is a huge parking garage right next to the restaurant. It has both elevator and stairs. Also, if you use Google maps, be aware it will misguide you towards the front of the COOP. Just make sure to the parking garage for parking.

This was my first time at Jack Allen’s Kitchen. Brittany was our server. She was nothing short of amazing. I can't say enough about the outstanding customer service. She knew the food, drinks, and smiled the whole time. She made my bonus mom’s birthday extra special. She brought out a dessert with ice cream and a candle. I could go on and on about this experience. I will definitely ask for Brittany when we come back.

I had my first visit to Jack Allen’s, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last! The staff was so warm and welcoming, and our server really stood out with their knowledge and spot-on recommendations. We started with the Barbacoa Stacker appetizer—such a perfect combination of flavors. For my entrée, I tried the seasonal Blue Crab Ravioli, which was light yet wonderfully satisfying. And dessert? You absolutely must try the Blondie Pie topped with vanilla ice cream—it was the perfect sweet ending. What impressed me most was learning that every ingredient is locally sourced, which makes the experience even more special. Next time I have friends visiting from out of town, Jack Allen’s will definitely be at the top of my list to share with them!

The perfect spot for good food and good drinks! We sat outside in the evening, and it was great! We enjoyed our food with the sound of the water right outside the restaurant. Prices were reasonable and great portions. Our server Laura was great! She was very attentive and answered all our questions. Jacob, the manager ,also made sure all his guests were satisfied with their meals and service on more than one occasion. Thank you Jacob for providing such a great experience from the minute we sat down, until the minute we left. Good service is hard to find. We will DEF be back!

Came here for my Birthday dinner with my wife. Hutto and Jack Allen knocked it out the park! Hutto built a new lovely space where people can congregate and walk around an amenities pond. Well-lit , has water fountains and is viewable from Jack Allen's patio. Parking is simple thanks to the free, large, covered, and multi-level garage next door. The food at Jack Allen's was great. I wish there were just a few more seafood/fish options; they only offered one Ruby Trout and two Salmon plates at the time we went. But there was a seasonal short rib and it was amazing. The server was outstanding, the drinks were great and matched her descriptions and recommendations. The food came much faster than expected (granted they were not super busy), and everything looked and tasted great. We live in Pflugerville, but having a nice place in Hutto to go to instead of traveling farther west will be much appreciated!

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! The food was incredible—everything came out hot, fresh, and fast. Our server Sam was amazing—super personable and knowledgeable. He walked us through the menu, made great recommendations, and invited us back for happy hour (which we definitely plan on doing!). The desserts looked mouthwatering, but we were just too full to indulge this time. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning. Highly recommend!

This new location is amazing! The atmosphere is on point with the patio right next to the lake. The food was phenomenal as well. Our server was Juana and we will definitely be back to see her. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with everything we got. Highly suggest!

Stopped in for my Birthday dinner. Our server, Nicole was wonderful. We ordered the Queso, Steak and Arugula Salad, Grilled Riblet? (Fish) (Husband believes that was it's name.) And the fudge pie to share. The queso was good. The others were great. Absolutely recommend! Classy atmosphere with great food and service!
