Jack in the Box

I had to put my order in using the monitor. I prefer personal assistance not this new age stuff. I ordered 2 taco's,and cheese burger combo soft bun hot fries. The taco meat was mushy like beans a bit of a mystery meat and it didn't taste good.

This was my third time trying to dine at this location. So I guess 3 is a charm…. The first 2 times I did stop by pretty late.. but the sign says they stay open 24 hours ( LIES). So this particular day I arrived at 7:45am and they were supposed to open at 8am. So I was the very first person in the line. Now I have to say everyone was really nice and accommodating. I like their new location and I got a sample of everything breakfast for under 10 bucks. If you go I suggest you arrive as early as possible… because they’re still hot due to them being new to Chicago.

Jack in the Box is honestly a west coast gem, and I’m so grateful they finally brought it here. It’s one of those spots that feels like a treat whenever you go — the menu is stacked with options, from the iconic tacos to the loaded curly fries and creative late-night bites. The food came out fresh, flavorful, and definitely lived up to the hype. That being said, the wait times are no joke. It was a long line and the service moved pretty slow, so definitely plan ahead and bring some patience with you. For me, it was worth it because the food hit the spot and reminded me why Jack in the Box has such a loyal fan base on the west coast. Overall, if you’ve never been, I’d recommend checking it out at least once. Go when you’re not in a rush and be prepared for a bit of a wait — but once you get that first bite, you’ll understand why people love this place so much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff is very nice and attentive. Always speak with a smile. Today me and my husband were taken care by Kara and Tyechia. Such great interaction and made our transaction quickly and comfortable. Will definitely come back for their services. Place is very clean as well!

On 9/24 at about 6:45pm, I went thru the drive thru and when I got home, I was missing a sandwich. I went back and the manager on duty was super nice, apologetic, and gave me the sandwich quickly. Absoloutely love Jack in the box, the food was fresh and super delicious. Beyond excited we now have one in Chicago and it's on my side of the town.

I was so excited to finally visit the Jack in the Box on 79th and Cicero! Anytime I go to California, I always make a stop for their tacos and curly fries, so I was thrilled to find this location nearby. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and all smiles. The restaurant was very clean and well-kept, which made for a great first impression. Even though there was about a 30-minute wait, the food was definitely worth it! We ordered tacos, a burger, and curly fries. The burger and fries were delicious and hit the spot. The only thing I’d change is I wish the tacos had been served hotter but they still tasted ok Overall, this location is friendly, clean, and serves tasty food.

Food was good service was fast and friendly the restaurant was very clean. My only complaint is your fountain drink cups are flimsy. I filled my drink cup and put the cover and when I grabbed it to pick it up it collapsed. You need better quality and stronger cups .

Tried JITB for the first time. Was hoping for something tasty. Didn't quite meet my expectations. Food was subpar. It's just another typical fast food joint so I dunno why I got my hopes up. Tacos were nasty, not authentic, just like those Burger King tacos. Cheeseburger was actually pretty tasty but so small. I should've ordered a larger one but I was trying to save money at the moment so I got the $5 deal which turned out to be quite a good amount of food for $5. Management was kind, not rude at all but not as organized as I hoped. They only had 5 workers total for dining in and drive thru. One customer came in argued that the hours of operation posted on the door indicated that they should still be open, but the manger was like, no we're about to close. She apologized about the false hours and I guess they're going to change it. But those shifty hours and waiting on the slow Cicero bus makes it too much of a hassle for me to ever return. Not to mention fast food isn't exactly what I want to continue eating anyways 😊

I never been but heard good things that I had to try. I downloaded the app to find out the store I was in was not in the app I had downloaded. I ended up going in to order as the drive-in was super long. Inside there were no one at the counter but three kiosk, which only 1 seems to work. I ordered a few items that included mini-taco (ok but not order again), smash burger (was good but watching them make it was unsatisfying). I got the order fairly fast but I could see the staff was frantically unorganized. I did not see any one making fresh burgers, I saw my meat coming off a steam table, cheese was taken off wrapper and put on the table (kinda nasty). Overall, I would not come back here.

Visited on a Saturday close to 2pm, we did go inside to order, the drive thru line was backed up. Inside there are kiosk where you can order which I love. We ordered from the kiosk, there was one other guest waiting for food. We received our food in about 10 minutes. The order came out and it was correct and fresh. We ordered the double Jack, tacos and the crispy chicken. Both sandwiches were flavored well and served up hot. The burger was really good considering this is a fast food place. We didn't have much interaction with the employee other than grabbing our food. Overall good experience.

This place is joke! Took forever to get our food which was only 3 burger meals and 3 kids meals....then ordered a classic mini tacos and it took 25m and when i asked about it they told me they go in order...which is just ridiculous I'll never go back there again. As we were leaving the drive thru line was wrapped around the parking lot and we couldn't even get out of our parking space.

SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY!!!! go anywhere else but here!!! I was waiting in line in the drive thru!!! the car ahead of me as well as mine where the last two cars there was no more cars to be attended too!!! We're told the white pickup truck was their last customer of the night cause they were closing!! So both of us were not able to place and order !!! Bring back Arby's!!!! So far my experience with the two locations near me have been trash!!! Hope you guys get your stuff together soon !!

So horrible staff, they said they close at 09:30 inside it was 09:21 yet i couldnt order because they had already shut down everything. If your gonna say you close at 09:30 you have to honor your hours unbelievable will not come back and will tell all my people as well unacceptable
