"As one of the only cultural venues of its kind in the neighborhood, JACK is tiny and unassuming yet far exceeds expectations. This 50-seat theater for performing arts is a repurposed 1920s 5-car garage, tucked into a quiet side street of Clinton Hill. Bringing interesting and eclectic performances to the intimate yet adequate space, JACK’s small stature packs a big punch in the performing art world and makes accessible scores of exciting and diverse shows. Located just off Fulton, it is beyond easy to make an evening out of dinner and a show, all without leaving the comfort of the neighborhood." - Makewell

Great space, clean, well run, friendly and professional staff. Had a very nice evening. Easy to get there from Manhattan (the C train)

It's a multi purpose place that can be used for shows of all sorts. Its very intimate so the front row literally sits on the stage. I guess there are about 40-50 seats.

Fantastic little theatre, a sort of black box, but with all the walls covered in tinfoil. Saw an ICE Ensemble concert here and the acoustic was surprisingly good. Comfy chairs and a reasonably priced bar. Excellent!

Yelp
The theatre company I work for has rented this space numerous times when we run out of room. We've held classes and auditions here - there are great rates for non-profits, or even for profit companies. The space was easy to access, clean, and a beautiful space to work. It's one large room with lots of potential. SUPER easy to get to from the Atlantic Terminal and Clinton-Hill subway stops. I'm looking forward to attending events as well, they've got lots going on. Soundpainting, listening parties, and performances. Very cool. Welcome to the neighborhood JACK!

Yelp
Went here to watch my a performance from a theatre company I'm associated with. The place isn't that big. You walk in and you're basically in the performance space. They had bleachers set up. There are two bathrooms right there off to the side, which is kind of awkward. If there were sirens right outside, you could hear them, but otherwise the sound and acoustics were fine.

Yelp
Recently saw my co worker's play here. In short the venue was nice. 'Twas a Spacious room and had seats for maximum 50. Comfy chairs, clean bathroom-- nothing more to say. :)

Yelp
wtf?! this room is a damn chameleon! it looked nothing like the photos i saw below. gotta give it up! i am not really sure if they are making any money yet, but kudos to them for what they are doing there. i really hope it works out. as for how i ended up here, it was for that (dunno name of event) party that plays 1930s - 1960s music. really loved the tunes (good job, jonathan)!
