Jack Russell Park

Atlantic Beach is graced with almost 2 dozen parks in this wonderfully shady community. They are scattered all over town and Jack Russell is the largest of those that have activities and sports fields. The skate park is a highlight that draws kids from miles away although, admittedly, on a really hot day it can feel like a frying pan. Nearby it's easy to catch some shade, get water and enjoy many other activities from swings and play areas to baseball, tennis, and soccer.

Really nice park. Very busy. Plenty of play areas for the kids, nice baseball fields and a cool skate park. Concession stand, bleachers. Just need to do a much better job with the bathrooms. Oh my goodness. Very foul

Wonderful park that has the Atlantic Beach Farmers Market, Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm! Many different Local vendors including Local, seasonal, Organic Farm vendors selling delicious Fruits and Veggies :) Local Honey, Local fresh baked breads and other baked goods, Local Soaps, Organic clothing items and so much more! Remember to bring your own reusable bags and baskets :) A must stop while in Atlantic beach! Support the local economy and get high quality at the same time :)

I enjoy going to the market on Sundays! Also love to see the basketball court being utilized with full 5-on-5 games!! Truly a wonderful little park.

This park turns into a lovely farmers market on sunday, from 10 am - 3 pm. I had a great time buying some oyster mushrooms and buying some local honey from them. A lovely day with nice breeze and amazing views.

Amazing local park. Shaded in summer and tons of room for kids to run and play. Very well maintained.

I went to the Atlantic Beach Farmers Market here for the first time. This park is hidden just a side street over from the main road. I never knew it existed! Parking is tricky on Sundays - the market was packed. The park itself is so nice and I love how the vendors were set up all throughout. I also noticed there were restrooms that were not port a pottys. They had a variety of vendors, food trucks, etc. This market is bigger than I expected, and I will go even earlier next time.

Been going here since we were younger! Now, we take all the nephews and kiddos here. Fun for watching baseball, pickup basketball games, picnics, family gatherings, tennis, racquetball, etc. They even have Farmers Markets and events on the weekends. And on the other side, a skate park and open field! Definitely nice to stroll around for a little fresh air, sun, and exercise. They do have some covered table areas and benches to relax in if you just want to enjoy the surroundings. I like the chill atmosphere. And the tree coverings are good, so it's not so hot in the shade. I'll try to get more pics next time!

Love Jack Russell Park for a spot for the kids to run around and blow off some steam. Tons of great fields, playgrounds, a skate park, and so much more.

This park is one of the best kept secrets in Atlantic Beach. They have 2 full baseball fields, a t-ball field, basketball court, soccer fields and three different play grounds. They also have a covered pavilion with tables and benches. It's rarely ever crowded and the huge oak trees offer a lot of shade. On Saturday's the baseball league often has bouncy houses and slides for everyone to enjoy. Great location to pack up lunch and have a picnic.

This park has almost everything! It's a smaller park but it has a nice skating rink, basketball court, baseball field, and a really nice play area. The park is clean and never too crowded, great for a mini picnic or to get some outdoor exercise!

Great balcony covered seating and fun bowls..for experienced skateboarders amd for beginners too
