This is my favorite bar on Brady Street. Hands down the best burgers and beer in town, and they offer sidewalk seating during the summer season. I really enjoy the ambiance of the place, especially during Brewer games - a place where you can shuttle to the games after an amazing pregame! I dig the crowd that goes there too! This place matches my energy.

We stopped here on a whim for a late lunch. So glad we did! All the people were super friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. The tenderloin sliders were great! The brisket sliders were spicy and delicious! We will return!

Probably the best chicken tenders I’ve had in recent memory. Free shuttle to Brewers game. Fun bar experience! 3 overall because there was no hand soap in the men’s room.

Very good! Visiting Milwaukee from Houston for a few days. This was actually my 1st stop after checking into my airbnb. Very good! Just got an order of fries. Priscilla was very friendly. Vibe seems good! Came another day and had the Caldo De Res soup. Also very good! Place was clean. Staff friendly. Would recommend!

The cheese curds are really good and it’s a fun spot to drink at. However, we came on a Sunday and they didn’t have a lunch menu until 2. That being said, I got the biscuits and gravy after our server recommended them and they were terrible. Biscuits were really hard and there was barely any gravy. Very disappointed

Super impressed! I had the Ghostface Killah burger, and it was so spicy-which was exactly what I was looking for. The meat was cooked just perfectly, and the fries on the side are delicious potato wedges. My husband got the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich, and it was really good as well. Awesome potato salad too. I definitely recommend this place. Will definitely dine in sometime.

Food was good for bar food, but we waited a full hour for a burger. Could not tell what the issue was, but neither server nor manager put any effort into updates or resolving it until we said we were leaving. There are way too many other and better options on Brady for a pub to have that poor of operations. No reason to go back.

A nice sport bar that is located in heart of the party of Milwaukee. Nice bar, good food, drinks, and great music is find on this place. Came here as a suggestion one of my friends. We share the Wisconsin Cheese Curds a must have! definitely a great option to share a cross few people this is served with ranch dipping sauce. Try tossed in house buffalo or tiger sauce. Great taste, very crunching, fill of cheese definitely delicious. For my main courses a order the Club Sandwich a staple of every American diner! Cracked pepper turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and chimichurri mayo stacked on three slices of your choice of sciortino's on wheat bread with Tater Tots on the side. The sandwich was super delicious super filled of the item mention all stuff was super fresh and the taste was super bueno.

Girl bartenders downstairs didn't want to serve girls. They stood in the back just watching and not doing anything.

Repeatedly snubbed by this particular bartender. Served all around me as if I didn't exist. Asked other bartender to convey a message "I appreciated the other girls lack of service!" Veteran, retired firefighter, came here when it was Crisp, off the list!

I'm surprised Jack's is rated so low on here! Yes, the music is loud but every single song is a bop so I don't mind it. The have the biggest TVs I've ever seen which is perfect for a March Madness! There are TVs all around so you can see multiple games no matter where you sit. My husband and I had so much fun here watching FDU best Purdue. The drinks were good, service was good, and staff was regularly clearing tables/bar areas. They have an upstairs and upper level bars with plenty of seating around them. They also have pop a shot, pull tabs, and tons of other games upstairs. We will definitely be back!

It's been a long time since I've been here. My last review was pretty harsh on the food and the general vibe (very sports, very bro). But recently we went here for brunch on the recommendation of a friend. I was so super surprised (in a good way)! The menu is varied: they have on the cheaper end donut holes and avocado toast (both around $10). The most expensive item is the Rise N Shine burger at $15. The burger has pork belly, a burger, sausage gravy, and an egg. It is soooo good! Other than that there are biscuits and gravy with an egg of your choice ($12), a couple of breakfast burritos--one with chorizo, one with rib eye ($14), chicken and waffles ($14), and just a straight up breakfast with 2 eggs, toast, and a side ($13). I truly think it would be hard to go wrong with these offerings, but if brunch isn't your thing they also have a chicken tender meal, a burger option, and a make-your-own-burger option. It was super chill when we were in (about 11:30 on a Sunday) and it was a lovely experience. We rolled right up to the bar.

Jack's is always a great time! Pre-pandemic we would go there for the bar scene at night but obviously I haven't been there army that capacity in awhile. We went to grab a quick lunch outside and the food was great! There was brunch and a few lunch options available. We got cheese curds to start and then each got an entree. There was plenty of outdoor seating and we were able to pick a table that had some shade. The food was amazing. Definitely a great place to grab some bar food. My one complaint would be that we weren't checked in on between getting our food and the check and weren't asked if we needed anything else. I had an empty water glass for essentially the entire meal and really could've used a refill due to how hot my food was. Overall, great food and would definitely be back.

When I don't want to wait an hour and a half at a brunch place, jacks is a great "I can get food now" alternative. They almost always have seating and their menu offers some fun options. They have deals almost every night of the week. We went for brunch and sat out on their patio. This is definitely more bar food than foodie food, but is pretty good quality for bar food. We started with donuts and cheese curds, a deadly combo. The donuts were hot and gooey, a few were a tad under cooked, but most hit the spot. Everyone at the table agreed the potatoes were pretty salty but were a good amount of crunchy. The servers were very friendly. This is also a great option if you are looking to watch a game, as they have tons of TVs.

They advertise as "free rides" to events but require you to buy a drink (no problem) but they also say they leave the brewers games starting the 7th but that a lie, they don't leave until after the game....dont rely on what they say. Take another bus at another bar.

Not sure what is worse about this place. The food or the service. Literally one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Not sure how they stay in business!

i told a bartender there named Brendzy that I liked her shirt she was wearing, and literally offered and took the shirt off her back to give it to me because liked it. never felt more appreciated.

I like Jack's. I go mostly for drink specials. The food is pretty good too. I like the burgers. Until recently they had a truffle Mac and cheese that was my favorite to get as a side. Now it's a jalapeño Mac with bacon on it. It's not quite the same but when I was eating it I had seat-neighbors salivating over it. Sunrise, sunset. It is what it is. It's mostly a younger crowd but also attracts the old-school Brady St. locals, which keeps things interesting. They still have Lakefront specials on certain nights. The bartenders are mostly chill. It's a "young" place in the sense that a lot of the customers are college students, but you still feel welcome if you're not in that cohort. There's not the loud nst-nst-nst music or anything. For food I like the burgers and sandwiches. The cheese fries are good but definitely for 2 people. I like the Doug E. Fresh in particular. There's usually a game on the TV. It's a cool place.

Nachos and the wraps were both awesome! Free shuttle to events was a huge plus. Definitely recommend coming here before or during sporting events.

Had a great time watching the Jets game on Monday - we lost and I had to pay for my tab, but all is good! Great service and crew. There was a very sweaty, overweight man sitting next to me that kept screaming and typing on his phone during the game - he kept touching people around him and talking about a book he was writing (something about Tiny Tim?) I really wish the staff had thrown him out, I also fear that he drove drunk home. If he could not be there, I'd love to return.

The music is way to loud. People just want to watch the game. You can't hear anything or talk to anyone

BEST BAR EVER. Great bar food and staff! From the bouncers to the host, to the bartenders. Summor was absolutely amazing, the host Lily was incredible. Will be coming back all the time.!:)

I love coming here when a game is on. The energy is loud and exciting. And if I'm going to a game or event, they have a bus to help with transporting people which is so handy. The staff is friendly and the food is good. I also like coming here when I go out as it has many young people here.

As a bar-Jacks is fine. Decent amount of space, lots of screens around for watching sports and whatnot. Prices are on point with other Milwaukee bars, the bathrooms can get pretty nasty but that's also standard for Milwaukee. I recently ate here for the first time and likely won't dine in again unless I am feeling desperate. I tried half of a wrap and half of a burger. Both were pretty room temperature, overly filled with lettuce and lacking flavor. Service was mediocre and required asking a few times for refills, etc. All in all felt meh and left with my stomach kind of hurting.

Tried Jack's for the first time and the food was amazing! I had the pulled pork with tiger sauce and jalapeño Mac and cheese. I couldn't get enough of it!! My wife had the black and blue burger with gun powder fries. Both entrees were excellent and the waiter was great as well, unfortunately I can't remember his name. Atmosphere and everything was very nice.

I've been here many times in last 2 years. This is one of the happening places on the East side and have always something best to offer. I've had a real good time with my friends watching games and dancing , having shots , beer. I stopped by for some quick food today and ordered fries , cheese curds , and Santa Fe roll. The cheese curds were good but fries were too salty . Santa Fe roll turned out to be horrible . The manager was happy to take my feedback and didn't charge me for the Santa Fe roll. I think the chef must be having a bad day today. I'd recommend this place for the drinks but not the food. Food is expensive , less quantity and tastes bad. Hope the pub improves on food quality

My favorite establishment on Brady st to have a drink and enjoy a night out. Has been my favorite bar since I turned 21. Kitchen closes at 12 am every night.

Called and asked if the UFC was on they said yes. Came here and it was boxing....lol Also the bartenders were very slow.

OK place. Clean and well lit. Service was so-so...took a looooong time to flag someone down to bring the bill. The outdoor seating was nice, but the bouncer decided to stand right next to our table and chain smoke as he was guarding the door. The food was OK. Burger entirely average, Wings were good but overpriced. The curds were outstanding. Would come back if someone wanted to, but better options on Brady. Two beers, wings, curds and a burger shouldn't be $65 with tax and tip.

this place took a while to grow on me...but I've now been there about 4 times or so, and once you get over the bro-ish environment and fact that it skews pretty young (even for Brady street) you'll find a solid sports bar with very reasonably priced semi interesting food, a really friendly wait staff, and prime patio real estate where Arlington place meets Brady. We've come here several times for games (& the super bowl) and the food we had was for what it was very nicely prepared and presented- even a side salad my friend ordered looked very colorful and fresh. the only thing I wasn't a fan of was their wings. They always run really good brunch and happy hour specials, and also run a shuttle to brewers games and summerfest. I'm a fan!

Great burgers! Nice thick fries and delicious drinks. Very much a college scene though, just a heads up.

Full transparency, we only came for a couple drinks, so our experience does not in any way reflect the food. We stopped in on a 40-something pub crawl of sorts on a Friday evening. Being from out of town, we wanted the full Brady Street experience and this place was on our list of stops. Upon initial entry, the bouncers seemed fairly friendly and receptive, and we opted to take a couple seats at the bar. The bartenders were relatively attentive after we got their attention, and the drinks were heavy pours and relatively inexpensive. The main attraction to this location is definitely the large, huge, massive, GINORMOUS televisions upstairs. I mean they easily are 20' wide and 15' tall. Not projectors either, full on LED screens. They are the pixel versions found in large sport arenas, but the picture quality was still pretty amazing! So why only 3 stars: The weather outside was chilly (low 30's) but it was apparent the owners were trying to save a few bucks on heat given it was cold enough inside that most folks left their coats on (unfortunately we left ours at the hotel so brrrrrrr). The bouncers in the bar (not at the door) seemed to care less about people being "fighty drunk" in their place. We sat next to a regular (based on their familiarity to and from the bartenders), and he ended up leaving because some drunk idiot tried to start a fight with him because he bumped him sitting down. The regular went to one of the bouncers on his way out and nothing happened, then the bartender went up to a different bouncer and nothing happened. We ended up leaving because the guy was just a major jackwad to us, and when we stopped by a third bouncer on our way out, he seemed to care less. Simply put, people in your bar need to feel comfortable and safe. Pay for some heat, and kick the a$$holes out so the rest of us can enjoy the place, and you could truly have a winner here!

Super popular busy bar on Brady. I appreciate the shuttles to Summerfest & Brewer games. I think they have pretty good bar food but also I've always been hammered when I've eaten there so maybe I'm just drunk? Idk Anyway, 4 stars because I don't enjoy fighting through the wall of bros to get a drink. I wish the balcony or something would be remodeled so you could comfortably accommodate more people but whatever.

I like this place a lot. My wife and I come here to watch the football games. They will put whatever game on you want which is nice. The bar tenders are all great. Good customer service and fun. The food is also good. It's a younger atmosphere, energetic. Good for a Sunday funday. I would recommend especially with a group of friends.

Absolutely horrible service. We came in for a couple of beers and an appetizer first off, thinking we might get some entrees as well. Our first interaction with the bartender was completely blunt and she was extremely stand-off-ish. She didn't tend to us at all (refill drinks, ask how we were doing) the entire time we were there so the thought of an entree went completely out the window. I wouldn't have mentioned it but I'm really irritated so i'll mention that masks were worn by the employees completely below the mouth the entire time we were there.

I called ahead to assure I could bring my service animal and I was denied at the door by James stating that I'm not blind and my dog is too small to be a service dog. So me and my Lucci sat on the patio in 40 degree weather. I'm very offended that he didn't ask me for paperwork or a valid excuse on why I needed a service animal anyways. I was advised to seek counsel But I'm not sure if it's worth it. I'm more disappointed than anything.

Jacks is doing an amazing job enforcing the new city rules of sitting room only! Every person that tried to order at the bar was turned away unless they had a seat. There was ample room for patrons to sit, drink, eat and know they were 6 feet apart from another party. I would highly recommend this place now that they have been so committed to keeping Milwaukee safe!

When there whit the wife and got charge two tops of $70 one was and really $49 and the other 70 but when I try to get a hold of the manager and leave a voice message never got a call back this place it's not good for the business never go back again next time check your recibe or keep it because they still your money.

My friends love Jack's. It's probably the fact that you can get a free pizza with your beer during happy hour, but I just think it's A-OK. I've been here for happy hour. I've been here for trivia. I've been here on a late night. It's fine establishment, but it's no place I beg to come to. However, as a plus, they do offer a shuttle to Miller Park.

Ok I been sleeping on Jack's food for a minute now. Came in for a Packer game and was craving a burger/something greasy. Ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and my GOD, that thang was enormousssss !!!!! You get your moneys worth for sure. Flavor and taste was solid. Only thing I have to admit that disappointed me was the fried pickles. I am a fried pickle lover anywhere I go, if its on a menu I'm ordering it, however; these were anything like what I thought. They are very breaded and the pickle itself is long and skinny and short, kinda like pickle string fries. If they were crispy maybe it would be better but mine were soggy. I was so sad. Coz I love me a good fried pickle app. But everything else A1.

Jack's American Pub is a cool bar on Brady Street. It's always been busy on the weekend when I've been there. My favorite part is on Thursday's they do $10 pitchers and with every pitcher you get a free PIZZA. As for the bar environment, pretty fun. Two floors, lots of arcade games if your into that type of thing, and decent priced drinks. I've never been there for anything other then drinks/pizza but would be willing to try it out for brunch/lunch. It's a fun place to stop on the weekends - give it a go!

Their manager is prejudice and discriminates against people of color. Everyone was served before me and I continuously waited patiently to be served. I had a tap open and manger took my glass and swore at me.

I used to love this bar, mainly due to Jennie Offenstein being my favorite and most attentive bartender in Milwaukee. However, I have been disappointed post covid in the meaningless restrictions such as no bar dice when there has been new "public" cigarette, pull tab, and white claw machines installed. The happiness of the customer would be greatly improved if bar dice was allowed again.

Today was my third time visiting Jack's. I feel like I've given it enough chances to give a fair review. Food: mediocre at best; food dry and unimaginative. Only got part of what I requested. Service: well meaning but subpar. I witnessed the bartender, after having pressed the register screen many times and handling cards and money, throw cherries in a customer's drink with his bare hands. Yuck. Cleanliness during the pandemic: somewhat frightening. Hand dryer in the ladies room was not working and there were no paper towels supplied. The staff wore varying face coverings, including useless bandanas, and frequently had masks off or pull down below their noses. Plus: well ventilated. No, I will not be back.

OMG I had the best time with Our-bartender Hannah, we came for a drink after work and she made us stay much longer than we planned!! Such a fun memory will will have! Thank you for helping our party have a great time! We will be back. Cheers:)

I love Jacks for brunch! They have a $10 mimosa pitcher, and their bloodies are fantastic. I forget the name on the menu, but the loaded tater tots with pulled pork and nacho cheese ARE A MUST. I came here right after returning to the US after 9 months abroad, and those tots were the most glorious thing to come home to. Haven't been here in the evenings, so not sure what the vibe is like. But great for brunch, especially in warm weather when you can sit on the patio and people watch.

Came here on A warm Saturday night night with my Sus & BIL Hubby wanted to watch the UFC &? Rest of us wanted sit outside and people watch on Brady. This place is known for beers but my sister & I wanted cocktails so ordered a margarita. The Mararitas were watered but a great place to people watch. Best view was this classic 65 Riveria The guy sitting next to us owns this

The beginning of the night started off fun and then slowly went downhill. I ordered a jack and coke when first arriving and it was 6 dollars, two hours later I sent my boyfriend to order me the same drink and the man charged him 9. Also, the bar had on their website that they closed at 2am. With no warning, at 1:45am they told everyone very rudely that we had to leave right now. We got no warning and most of us had just ordered are Ubers assuming they closed at 2am. They wouldn't let us wait inside and it was under 20 degrees outside. Even though we showed him that our Ubers are coming he wouldn't let us wait inside and blamed it on us for not ordering them sooner. I had mentioned how the Ubers were ordered with the idea that they were closing at 2. I would never come back.

I'm definitely a fan of this place! The inside reminds an Irish bar (dark, wood interior) meets sports bar (a lot of TVs around the bar). The waitstaff is friendly. Loved playing bar dice with them. And, they were very attentive. Didn't have to wait long for drinks. The food is very good bar food, too! Typical menu items like wings, cheese curds, wraps, sandwiches, salads.

They've stepped up the food game here and I now consider this place a great place to eat some scrumptious bar bites. Inside is fine but come summer grab a table outside and get ready to watch the Brady St. show!

I've been to this bar a lot and usually have a really good time, but last night made me never want to go there again & I won't be recommending this place to anyone. There was a man that put his finger in my friends mouth in a very inappropriate way (obviously) and was also smoking a cigarette inside of the establishment. I immediately found a staff member walking around, a guy named Aaron, and told him what happened and he went over to the guy and shook his hand. I followed and then asked if he was going to do anything, which he said no and then shook the guys hand again! I told the supervisor and the manager on duty and nobody did anything to make sure the guy was out or that the worker got penalized. As I was finding the manager, this man FOLLOWED me and then touched me inappropriately. The worker I told 100000% should've kicked this guy out and ultimately made me and my friends feel super unsafe. We left and do NOT recommend if you're a women looking to feel safe! DO BETTER JACKS!!!

Decent - typical bar. Has a cool balcony upstairs so you can see the lower bar/restaurant area. Over priced unless you take them up on their specials and happy hour items. Overall, we usually have good service (minus the one night we tried eating on a Saturday and it took about an hour to get food, which I guess should have been expected because it was really busy). Other than that the food is typical bar food and the beer is cold. **After visiting this location a few times since writing this, I've realized their bartenders are not the greatest. They are not trained to scan the bar before serving the next customer. Almost every time I go to the bar, I am looked over and about 5 other people are served before me. It's rather disappointing, and affects how I tip them in the end...which sucks because I was a server once, and getting below average tips isn't fun.

Perfect example of how segregated Milwaukee is. There is absolutely no diversity and I saw exactly why that was at the end of my experience here. The bartenders were completely disrespectful. Now i know why when i go to these bars, i hardly see people that look like me. I witnessed an altercation where a white bartender felt it was ok to say to an African-American female: "bitch get out". It doesn't matter the circumstance. I have never seen a business place treat someone like that. Terribly off putting. I got good service but seeing somebody else be treated like that is disgusting.

Our daughter recommended Jack's for happy hour and we gladly went. We sat at the bar and had drink specials and there was $2 off appetizers (starting at 2). We had what she recommended - the Steak Tenderloin Sliders and they were enough for the both of us. 3 great sliders with lots of fries with beers on sale. What could be wrong? We saw other specials and plan on being back. Great place on Brady Street for some good quality.

Used to have good times in here, they don't care about their customers anymore. Bad service, bad food!
