The food was amazing and the beer yummy!! Yeah I had the lamb pasta and it was so good! They had a good selection of beer on tap. I spent way too much on alcohol but the selections are good. I recommend getting a flight of 3 beers just $9. I saw that after getting 2 beers.

Eclectic and ever-changing menu with something for everyone's tastes. The rotating menu varies from ethnic dishes hailing around the world to more experimental culinary concoctions. Regardless, I have never had a bad meal here. It is a little expensive, but definitely worth the cost as far as restaurants in the city go. Reservations are heavily recommended, especially after 6PM. Seating is limited and it fills up very quickly.

Jack's Bistro is hands down one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The service from the hostess when you first walk in the door makes you feel welcome and at home. The awesome service from our waitress made the night even better. She welcomed us with a smile and introduction as first time guest. She was very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu. The recommendations she made were excellent. Compliments to the Chef our food taste like heaven, it was prepared with lots of love, flavor, and experience!! The sea bass was prepared to perfection and my significant others steak had us ohhhhhhing and awwwwwing even after heating it up for dinner the next day. I can't leave out the side dishes, all I can say is, I took a trip down memory lane as I ate our side dishes. I was reminded of the love and affection my grandmother put into her cooking! We cannot wait to return to try other entrees and bring family and friends!! In a sea of chain restaurants and quick fixes, it's a breath of fresh air and delight to find decadent food and service!! Special thanks to the excellent Chef, Brandy our great waitress, and the wonderful hostess!! You made our Labor Day weekend great!

This place is completely amazing. Between the really chill atmosphere and the incredible food, it's a place you'll be finding excuses to go back to. They have an appetizer, Guinness Braised Beef, that is just... beyond words. My mouth waters just thinking about it. You can tell that the folks at Jack's really love food and love what they do.

Jacks is open late, super unique, and has character. The menu is a bit small, but changes often. The food and drinks are both splendid. Can be a bit more expensive than some other Baltimore restaurants. Very limited seating. Absolutely recommend.

Love this restaurant! The guinness steak and smoked tomato are two of my favorite meals of all time. I have never had anything that I did not like here and the owner will great you with a smile like you were old friends.

I have to preface this by saying that I went here during Restaurant Week, so my experience might be different on a regular night. I understand you get what you pay for but the bill was still over $100 for 2 people. Since I moved here, I've only heard amazing things about Jack's but to my surprise, I was pretty disappointed by the experience. I made a reservation for 8pm and wasn't seated until after 9pm. I usually wouldn't care that much and would just grab a drink at the bar. However, because they were overbooked, they sat people at the bar for dinner. So you had to awkwardly hover over the diners (who were all a little agitated) to grab a drink. Once we were seated, the food did come relatively quick. Despite the quick service, the food was disappointing. It was kind of cold and felt like it was thrown together. I still have hope though and might give it another try in the future, not during Restaurant Week.

Jacks is usually pretty awesome. I will admit I haven't been there in years. Went last night to get one more fix before the chef moves to their new location. Got the classic peanut butter jelly shot, and mac and cheese with chocolate. Three of us got things off the new menu. My fish, of my fish and chips were a little over fried and the fish was meh. My wife's Cornish hen was a little underdone and not really flavorful enough. My French fries were spectacular. But I mean you can get that any where really. Oh donut gelato ice cream sandwich was amazing. I highly recommend checking it while it is still here or when it moves. Get the mac and cheese and chocolate. It is a classic.
