Was looking for a reasonably priced breakfast place and downtown Charleston. Most restaurants tend to have bougie menus, especially on the weekends. This restaurant right by the College of Charleston with a parking garage just around the corner on Saint Philip Street was perfect. The meals were fairly cheap, but high-quality. The pancakes were huge and fluffy, the eggs rich, and the grits hot. If I had one complaint, it would be that the home fries were a little underdone and not crispy. Service was excellent and the manager clearly on top of her game. Never had to ask for a refill. Can get quite busy, so expect a potential wait, but big screen TVs on the wall and seating by the door help. We were able to squeeze right in at the bar rather than waiting for a table.
