We previously had a good cut with Maria but the man we saw today provided a very unpleasant experience, constantly muttering about tangles in a 6-year-old’s hair. To top it off, he gave us $10 less back than asked for in change (in effect giving himself a 50% tip).

This place is a gem if you’re in the Vessey St area. I’ve been going for 5 years now and all the barbers do a great cut for a very reasonable price. I usually see Boris and he has never steered me wrong!

Best place for a haircut around Brookfield Place. Been coming here for over three years and never had a bad cut. Its very affordable too. I live in New York City and even when I’m gone for a bit, I hold off on getting my cut until I come back here

This shop is spectacular. I have been coming here for 7 years. Never have I ever got a cut I disliked.

Took a chance on these guys after going to the same barber for 10+ years. I was not disappointed. Sam cut my hair and was excellent the whole way through I would 100% recommend coming here

After walking by this barbershop many times, I finally decided to give it a try. I’ve tried many barbershops in Financial District, TriBeCa and Chinatown, and I felt none of them have been worth the price. Don’t be weary - although it’s not as pricy as many nearby salons and barbershops, it’s absolutely worth it, and then some. When I walked in, Simon greeted me, made me feel comfortable, and gave me a haircut that was probably worth 3x what I paid. He made a few suggestions on styling and length and took very good care of me. Definitely recommend this shop and Simon.

Great place! Been going here for cuts from Maria and Boris for two years after another friend recommended them. Always understand exactly what I want and do it perfectly. Have done both medium and short cuts well. Very pleasant to talk to. The shop is clean, quiet, and comfortable too.
