The Best Breakfast Restaurants in Bend, Oregon | Eater Portland

"Located in a neighborhood near the Old Mill, Jackson’s Corner is a local hub where friends gather around generous tables. JC has changed owners over the years but one constant is its exceptional bread, so be sure to order the sourdough toast with breakfast. Breakfast starts with creative, local farm fresh egg dishes. The Corner omelet is filled with house Boursin cheese that melts in the mouth, while the Turkish eggs come with grilled local broccolini, garlic yogurt sauce, and pistachio dukkah, blending creamy sourness, earthy nuttiness, and the sweetness of young vegetables. The coffee bar offers lattes, espresso, and matcha to pair with a variety of pastries, cookies, and pies. An assortment of beer, cider, and other six-packs are available for those planning to quench their thirst later in the day. Reservations are available through OpenTable, and online orders are accepted." - Barb Gonzalez

Google
Jackson’s Corner on Delaware Ave was a great dinner spot! This was recommended to me from a coworker and I’m so glad she told me! Originally, I wanted pizza but decided on the burger. My husband got the 50/50 fettuccine. My husband said this was the best pasta he’s had in a while. He loved the taste and homemade noodles. My burger was cooked perfectly and the burger sauce was really good! We sat outside, there’s plenty of seating. There’s also a great variety of drinks and dessert. If you’re going with a group who has different tastes/cravings for dinner…this is the spot! Lots to choose from and the food was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, too! We went on a Wednesday, so it was a little more quieter. Now, we need to try the brunch!

Google
Consistently lovely and delicious after all these years—always such a treat to visit Jackson’s Corner! We had the special—a Cobb salad—and a regular salad off the menu—the Jackson’s Blue. Both were fresh, flavorful and delicious. A couple of coffees accompanied by a salted chocolate chip cookie and a wonderful conversation left is satiated and heart/happy. Thanks, Jackson’s Corner, for the quality and consistency you always provide for the community! PS. The artwork and atmosphere are wonderful as always too. 🩷🩵💚

Google
I'm always pleasantly surprised every time I visit. The food and mocktail options are great. Today I got the quiche and it was absolutely fantastic. Outside seating was nice and plentiful. Food came out super fast. I like the dog friendly seating. Out pup had a great time knowing his pawrents enjoyed their meal.

Google
It is an excellent place for breakfast, I loved it so we came twice for breakfast. Delicious house made sourdough toast , awesome biscuits and gravy, nice coffee. Light and laid back atmosphere. Fast friendly service with a smile, reasonable prices.

Google
Mixed experience, great service, fast friendly helpful, but the food was average. High quality ingredients, local, well prepared, but some of the pairings were weird. For example, the spinach ruined the breakfast burrito, it almost entirely infused it with a weird green spirulina flavor. The breakfast sandwich was fine, the lemon aioli was delicious, but somewhere between the arugula, brioche bun, and lemon aioli did not work. And both the espresso drinks were horrible, like burnt office coffee from yesterday. The bacon was great, potatoes were fine

Honestly came for brunch but could've stayed for anything else my heart desired! They have coffee drinks, wine, craft beer, beer on draft, gelato, what appears to be a clay oven for pizzas. They have It all. Want to sit inside, check, outside check, want free bed samples and in-house made hot sauce and siracha, check. I got the brown sugar shaken espresso and the breakfast sandwich with sausage and it was amazing. My brother got the rancher's bloody Mary which he said was out of this world as well. Well done Jackson's corner

Google
Fun place to chill. Good menu options. Not just the normal. Enjoyed breakfast with good thick bacon, fresh-cut fruit and berries, & great sourdough bread. Waitress was nice and packed up our cinnamon rolls to take home.

Google
I reached out to this restaurant when looking for a place that was highly recommended and kid friendly. They didn’t disappoint! Gabby was a big part of the reason, incredible in service throughout our time at the restaurant. From getting our party in and making sure we had a great experience, it was memorable for each one of us. Make sure you add this to your must try places, especially the pizza!

Yelp
Perfectly charming, neighborhood cozy feel with outstanding food and service. Great spot for visiting from out of town. They made substitutions with ease (swapped biscuit for toast, scrambled eggs instead of fried) and had gluten free options. There is a self service coffee bar in the back and were willing to steam milk. The cashier was wonderfully kind, plenty of seating options with a beautiful view. Would recommend strongly for an upscale brunch experience.

Yelp
This was such a cute and homey place perfect for a nice brunch with family or friends. It was warm inside and I just loved the atmosphere. The staff were kind and quick to bus the tables and the food came out quick. I ordered the tomato soup which was the perfect lunch for the rainy day as it was so savory and warm w/ a nice drizzle of olive oil. My friend got the breakfast burrito which he devoured and said it was also super good with the perfect combination of breakfast ingredients.

Yelp
The honey pie is so unique but my favorite ever. Weekends can be busy but totally doable. Everyone is very nice and it's such a calm place to eat.

Yelp
Big, bright, open concept style spot where you order at the counter and go sit. Full service from there. Food is awesome, my burrito was elite with big flavours, packed with intention, and a generous helping of food. We sat at a communal table and got to chat with some locals as we were travelling through Oregon. Check this spot out!

Yelp
Alter egos. Their appeal is undeniable. Just think how much Clark Kent must have enjoyed transforming himself into Superman at a moment's notice! To those who believe that developing an alter ego is an unrealistic endeavor, I offer the hope that such heights can be achieved through the selection of a "coffee name." I mean, who's gonna stop you from being whomever you wanna be whilst ordering that White Mocha Latte? My chosen alter ego/coffee name is "Jackson", so visiting "Jackson's Corner" for breakfast felt imperative while in Bend, Oregon. Although the "Avocado Toast" looked excellent on the menu without supplementation, I decided to increase its super powers by layering eggs and bacon upon it. While I'm not a bread guy, the "miche bread" from local bakery "Sparrow" was a superhero of its own accord and the radish provided a distinctive of flavor. The "French Toast Beignets" were pillowy soft, featured an incredible bourbon vanilla maple syrup, and included pecan butter to slather upon it. While signature coffee selections are available, their regular coffee was worthy of requesting a "to go" cup on the way out the door. Although the food, ambiance, and service needed no improvement, our experience was further enhanced by their music selection of often overlooked talents such as Lake Street Dive and Nathaniel Rateliff. Thank you @j_alexandra89 for recommending this place to us! And that's...Henry's Take. #bendbreakfast #superherobreakfast

Yelp
My wife and I ordered the "Pitchfork T Beef Stew" and "Mixed Green Salad for lunch. It was fantastic. The salad hit the spot and the stew was perfect to have on a cold central Oregon day or any day. Perfectly spiced. The staff were great, and the food came out timely. The restaurant is very clean. We probably walked by this place a dozen times and decided to try it. Glad we did. Wish we had one in my hometown of Gladstone, Oregon. We tried their breakfast the next day and wasn't disappointed. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs and it was fantastic. It's a hidden gem of a place. We will be back next time we visit bend. It's walking distance from old town and water front. Great location in a little neighborhood. Highly recommend

Yelp
This place is excellent. We have eaten here many times over the years and are long overdue for a positive review. There is not a bad thing on the menu, the service is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting.

Yelp
Following a hike at Sparks Lake we stopped in at Jackson's Corner for a quick lunch before driving home to the Portland area. The parking is street parking but was easy to secure on a Saturday early afternoon. We had been to Jackson's Corner years ago with our kids when they were younger. Jackson's Corner was just as I remembered, cozy with easy seating, excellent food options available in a casual uncomplicated atmosphere. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table. We ordered the tomato soup and grilled cheese and then the breakfast sando and another bowl of tomato soup to dip it in. Sounds weird maybe but don't knock it until you try it cuz it hit the spot! I was excited to see that there were gelato offerings as well but we didn't try any of those this time around. We'll be back next time we get to play in Central Oregon!

Yelp
Great place and not first time there but my scrambled eggs hard and not very edible. Service good and like ambiance

Yelp
This restaurant had a different location the first time I was taken here by locals, when asked when I definately needed to eat during my week work stay. I ate there 3x that week and did the same thing the following year. The food is clean and simple and highlights the ingredients own flavors to show off the dish. Great beverage/tap options as well. After 6 years, in town for a meet, and everything is as delicious as I remember. I could eat here 5x a week. So much variety, a staff that wants you to have a good experience. The raw ingredients are the freshest and flavor full. Even the raw carrots chunks on the kid veggie dish were the sweetest carrots I've eaten. I brought my family here this time because this seems like the most family/friend place in town. I've always remembered the comfortable seating options here as well. Everything from Large family tables for ten to private nooks where you can enjoy a meal with another person.

Yelp
Boy do I love this place! We come every time we are in town, and also chose where to stay recently based on proximity. Incredible breakfast, amazing coffee. And recently we tried dinner for the first time, too. They were very conscientious of my baby's diary allergy, as well. We love the breaky sammy, cinnamon buns, cookies, and the cardamom sea salt latte. We have to get those every time. We recently also enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and avocado toast. For dinner we had pizza, pasta, salads, and it was all delicious. And of course, the bread - incredible.

Yelp
My husband and I had Jackson's Corner for dinner. He ordered the fried chicken and I had their salad special which was spinach, mixed greens, asparagus, sunflower seeds, and a buttermilk ranch dressing. I ordered it without the bacon bits so it didn't have a whole lot of flavor but I liked that they were willing to make it vegetarian and the veggies were super fresh. The fried chicken was a huge portion, juicy, and my husband said it was very well seasoned. He LOVED it. The service was friendly and the ambiance was chill. It was a great place to grab dinner.

Branden G.

Yelp
Great spot hidden in town. They have a nice little happy hour and great food after as well. We had the pizza and would come back for it again as the flavor was phenomenal. The ambiance was great because we were able to play some cards as a family and relax without feeling like we had to hurry up finish and leave. We will be back!

Yelp
Their bread and pasta is so delicious! I love everything they have, it is so well designed and executed. I have never tried their gelato though, but it does look delicious! I love that they help people find tables when it is really crowded, and it is counter-ordering which is efficient as well. This place is so good! But, don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself!

Yelp
Found this place while searching for a Sunday brunch spot at 10am. This was basically the only option, so it was pretty crowded. The line went back to the door nearly the entire time we were there. The line to order took about 10 minutes and then the food took another 35, so don't expect to be in and out of here quickly If you want something to snack on while you wait, grab one of the fresh cinnamon rolls. They're really tasty. They come room temp by default but you can ask them to heat it up if you'd like. Also, my friend got a chai tea and said it was the best he had ever had The Croque Ma'am is cheesy, creamy, savory and quite filling. I'd definitely recommend trying it. I also tried the tomato soup. For a side, it comes in a larger serving than expected. On its own, it tastes average but It comes with a small piece of bread that complements the flavor well. I'd recommend getting more fresh baked bread to dip in the soup and you could make that an entire meal

Yelp
The service was great and so was the food. I definitely appreciate all of the staff for going the extra mile to ensure that my experience was good. It was a very popular place however it didn't feel like people were flying in and out on a Friday. It sounded busy however just fine. The dish picture: Bucatini Organic hand rolled pasta, butternut squash sauce, Groundworks Organic broccolini, fried sage, dried pomegranate arils My impressions: I loved it. You can tell they spent time making this dish. I didn't like the pomegranates however they provided sweet and crunchy textures. The lamb I wouldn't do again. I wasn't expecting it to be so fatty, that's on me, I know lamb is fatty. I wanted more broccolini but all it in all it was fantastic. I additionally purchased Rigatoni Alla Vodka Organic hand rolled pasta, creamy tomato sauce, parmigiano, basil and a pizza. Both were good. However the photo was the star.

Yelp
Superb place for a brunch. The food is different from the usual choices and tastes delicious. They also have a coffee bar and have some pastry items. While you are there, one can stock on some minimal groceries too. The service is pretty prompt over all. Nice place to hang out in general.
google avatar

Danielle N.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast. They have a large seating area and a coffee bar. Their breaky Sammy is good. Nice spot to chill and work when it's not busy.

Yelp
Food and lattes tasted great. Be prepared to wait in a long line if you arrive after 10 am. Lots of seating but mostly all larger tables. Not many options for only one or two person seating. Outside patio is available as well.

Hali O.

Yelp
The torta was the best thing I've eaten in a while. A perfectly spicy flavor bomb, complete with creaminess from the avocado and sauce. The egg on top sealed the deal to cure my light hangover. The iced coffee was very strong and tasty. It was extremely busy and the person taking our order seemed a little overwhelmed, as several things were out of stock. But all in all we managed to get a table and a very good brunch.
google avatar

Kari J.

Yelp
The fresh local food, the plethora of outside seating (dogs okay!) and the young, sweet staff are the reason I'll drive 25min to go again! I strongly suggest the seasonal salad, the heirloom tomato salad dressing was unbelievably good (and complex! So I'm going back again tonight. That's how good it was!) Very casual, walk up ordering, easy place for groups too!

Yelp
Jackson's Corner used to be our favorite spot in Bend. Everything was delicious! We loved the junkin, breakfast burrito, pizzas, and salads. Unfortunately since the sale of Jackson's corner, the quality of the food has declined significantly. It's so disappointing. The coffees and bread are still good, however. Hopefully Jackson's Corner will find a chef to bring back the old JC standards.
google avatar

Yelp
I used to love coming here but they just don't have healthy options. Everything has gluten, dairy or potatoes and if you sub it out your left with not much to actually eat. For milk alternatives they only have oat milk (no almond or coconut). I had to walk to Palate to get a latte (I know, first world problems!)

Juanita S.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite ( bowl of soup on a cold afternoon). They were very busy. We ordered our soup but I wanted more bread. They took way too long to bring it out. By the time it came we were done with our soup. The manager came over to apologize and gave use complementary baked goods. The tomato soup was wonderful and hit the spot. The manager was very kind, warm friendly and generous. I understand that restaurants get busy and mistakes happen. They made the situation so pleasant.

Yelp
I've been here several times and have received excellent service every time! Everyone that I've encountered working here has been very friendly, on top of that the location is in a cute neighborhood which gives it a very homey & comfortable feeling. It's also more spacious that a lot of coffee shops, lots of seating options! A good place to do work/schoolwork, have a solo coffee date with yourself, or meet up with some friends for some good food and/or yummy coffee! They also have pastries that are really good and a grocery style refrigerators that I believe have local beers & such for sale in them!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
After the sale of Jackson's corner I hoped the quality of the food would stay the same. Unfortunately the execution has dipped significantly. The fried chicken was dry and under seasoned, Thai steak salad was cooked well done and the quality of the salad mix wasn't as good, ox tail ragu was bland / under seasoned. The preparation of the food was mediocre and the flavor is lacking. The service, ambiance, and bread is still great. Hopefully they can get a Chef on board who can improve the quality and consistency of the food that they put out. The biggest downfalls in Bend kitchens is when cooks are allowed to prepare food without a chef helping guide and keep quality and consistency high.

Yelp
Great chive omelet, lots of local beverages. Nice salad with omelet. Casual atmosphere.

Yelp
Worth the wait! Friendly service and delicious food- I ordered the Junkin, (two fried eggs, locally roasted veggies, micro greens, with toast and Jacobensen sea salt) and a bloody mary. All the bread is made in house and is fantastic. Great selection of beer and beverages, and some groceries to go as well. I will definitely be coming back to Jacksons

Yelp
This used to be my go to every time I go to Bend. Admittedly, I haven't been there in about three years but was really looking forward to going this past weekend for some much needed RnR. In the Before Times, I used to eat here a couple few times a month, every time we came down from Portland. It was always super friendly, the food was excellent, the drinks were always great and the service was The Bomb. We came in for Brunch on Sunday last weekend. Ordered a couple of Bloody Marys and some BLT's, one of which had GF bread. The Bloody Marys were literally just Vodka and tomato juice, no garnish, nothing that makes a Bloody Mary a Bloody Mary. Total for two BM's...$32. When the sandwiches came, the GF one's bread immediately disintegrated and I ended up eating it with a fork and couldn't eat the bread, which was dry and crumbled into crumbs. Barely any mayo on both of them and the tomato was cut a half inch thick and was not ripe. The only good thing was the extra side of bacon, which was perfect. The service was curt and seemed like they didn't care if we were there or not. A far cry from what it was, every single time we used to go. The total bill with tip, $80.00 for two BLT's and two glasses of tomato juice with two shots of vodka in them. $32 bucks for the worst "Bloody Mary" I have ever had. If the grub had been even remotely close to what it was, I wouldn't have a problem but this was terrible food, crap drinks and apathetic service. SUPER disappointed and will unfortunately not be back the next time I come down. It's a shame to see such a great location hit the bottom on the barrel.

Yelp
Walked into Jackson's corner located at 845 NW Delaware Ave in the Old Bend neighborhood, a fav of friend, for a 9AM breakfast. Known for their organic & sustainable menu. I love that! Yellow building with light, bright interior. There's seating inside, as well as side walk seating with more seating in back of Jackson's Corner building. Lots of couples, friends meeting up, families, kids since there's a separate kids menu. Grab a menu, join the queue to order your breakfast at the counter. Line seems to move rather smoothly. Ordered and let counter/cashier know where we would be sitting so they could deliver food to your table. She was very nice and great w/suggestions when we asked. Ordered: * (2) Classic Two eggs*, both with bacon; organic potatoes, whole wheat toast - offered hot sauce, preserves. I loved this breakfast because the potatoes were crispy but not pan-fried burnt as it can be sometimes w/nice light herbs, eggs done perfectly, one over easy and one light scramble, the bacon was perfectly done and, wonderfully, NOT dripping with grease, the thick sliced wheat toast was great with a touch of preserves or plain to mop up the remnants of lush, eggy yolk * (2) Coffees - liked the way the coffee station was set in the back with carafes of half half & simple syrup, and sweetness like organic stevia near the espresso station. You can get as many refill as you'd like! I really enjoyed a well cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, w/w toast where it wasn't overly greasy or overdone! And that it's organic and sustainable makes for a good start to my day. Only caveat is not all the pastries are available when we came in at 9AM. Go a bit later if you want to be able have a full selection of pastries. Besides the food You have got to check out the entire wall of refrigerated bottle drinks offered. We were focused on the aromatic coffee so next time! I will be back on my next Bend visit to try the pastries & breads and the dinner menu at Jackson's Corner. And of course BREAKFAST!

Yelp
So good, became a daily habit. Espresso was excellent. Sampled breakfast menu and a few pastries with the family. Nice staff and great selection of beverages in the case. Nice seating inside and out. You will not regret going.
google avatar

Yelp
When you arrive at Jackson's Corner, you order at the register and then pick an open seat. They have a diverse menu of meals and to-go items. You can also skip to a separate line if only ordering from the cafe and pastry case. I could tell this place was popular when the line doubled around 9:30am on a Sunday morning. There is an outdoor patio area along with indoor seating. If you go on a busy morning expect a long wait for your meal. My meal took about 40 minutes to arrive, but the drinks come out much sooner. The kitchen can be viewed from the register which was a nice touch to see the culinary team. The Junkin menu item was a great and light meal with the eggs cooked perfectly to my order.
google avatar

Laura N.

Yelp
One.of my favorite stops when visiting Bend. There is always a bit of a wait to order because it is so popular, but also because they take their time to provide excellent customer service. Now the food is delicious, and is made with fresh and local ingredients. The place has a wonderful community atmosphere. There is seating inside and out. There is an accessible entrance on the side and accessible parking spots in the back.

Sonya H.

Yelp
So disappointed. We used to love coming here for years. The menu and service have changed after the new ownership.

Yelp
We were surprised to find this place tucked in the middle of a neighborhood...definitely didn't expect that. Parking on the street can be a bit tricky, but we managed to snag a space. We were there before 9 am, which we thought was pretty early but the queue was from the ordering counter to the door. The line kinda moved slow and it was a while till we got to order. We were told that the lox and some other item were not available. Between us we ordered plain and chocolate croissants for the kids, Boursin omelette for both of us and a monkey bread to share. The kids got their croissant immediately and they relished it. Our cappuccinos were good and didn't take too long to come. The monkey bread was something my kids hadn't tried before, and we all liked it more than a cinnamon bun kinda bread. Our omelettes took a while to come but it was fluffy & light on cheese omelette. My husband got his with a side salad and liked the salad a lot. Overall it was a good omelette but am not sure if it was worth the price tag of 17 bucks each. The next morning, we were heading out by 7 am so decided to pick up food on our way out, since it was quite close to where we were staying...unfortunately even though they were open at 7 am, their bakery stuff was not all available...as in they were still being baked. So with limited choice we picked up couple almond croissants and scones. We are not fans of almond croissants that add almond essence and as expected these croissants had the faint cherry flavor to it. We ate it nonetheless. Kids did like their scones. To summarise, good place to grab breakfast but little on the higher end of price

Yelp
Worst lunch I've had in a while. I got the Thai Salad with "soy glazed" veggies (an extra $7.50). The veggies had no soy glaze. They were just regular roasted veggies, half of which were TOTALLY undercooked. Pretty sure there were raw potatoes in there? But I can't really say what the things were that looked and crunched like raw potatoes. Gross. The lettuce was stringy. The dressing was meh. Very disappointed. This place is totally overrated. My friend's meal was even more disgusting. She got the steak sandwich and the bread was overloaded with garlic and burned her tongue. The steak was super chewy and all of it tried to pull out of the sandwich with each of the two bites that she took before giving up completely. Never going back. Barf. UPDATE: My order was a part of a larger order for our whole office. I have since asked everyone else in my office what they thought of their meal. The news wasn't good. 3 people ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, 3 people received bottom bun soup in the box and had to eat just the chicken with a fork and knife. Two others ordered the Jackson's Blue salad and reported that it was just a sloppy pile of lettuce with a few apples on top. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Yelp
This place was the highlight of our trip. We stopped by 2 days in a row bc they have a variety of GOOD food.

Yelp
Really cute place I love the space. I think this restaurant has a huge potential it just needs some tweaks. We waited in line for a good 25min to place our order. I think our total was around $80 which is a lot for an order at a counter type place. Unfortunately the food didn't make up for the wait. The blue salad was the best thing we ate and it was excellent. The delicate came in a cast iron skillet and was charred black on the skin side which made it very tough. Like eating plastic on some bites. There was also a stem chunk that I had to spit out. Not a big deal but like chomping down on a rock. I wouldn't order that again. The polenta looked amazing but was grainy and lacked flavor. It needed some acid or white wine and really needed salt. There were also hard black flakes in the sauce. Like they used a pan that had burned residue on bottom. The steak was probably the worst dish we got. It was seasoned well but dry and had several veins of tough silver skin running throughout. Not usual in a New York strip. I cut off what I could but we both still had to spit a couple pieces into a napkin. I think we just got the unlucky bad cut. The bread looked amazing but didn't get bread with any of our dishes. Not sure it comes with any but would've been nice to get at least once slice. I think the salads shine at this place and I was kicking myself for not ordering the fried chicken. It looked amazing sitting at another table.

Yelp
I just ate half a cinnamon bun. It was delicious. I ordered some faro salad but it was pretty small for a side portion. I do love the food options here and their bread might be the best in town. Their baguettes are pretty great but $7 for a baguette!!! It's nice to see a place crowded and I really do love these guys. Prices are getting higher tho.

Yelp
This review is for the stall in the Grove. The pizza was inedible, if you could even call it that. What else can I say! Friendly staff!
google avatar

Jake S.

Yelp
Hadn't been in a few years because our first experience was pretty lackluster. Understand they're under new management now so tried it again. Sadly, still pretty average considering all the hype they get. Loads of staff but with a 1/3 full room of customers, it still took 1/2 hour to get a sandwich. That's not right. Staff are pleasant enough but don't really seem to care whether you're there or not. And food.... well, that 's why we're there, right? Very average. Sounds great on the menu, looks great on the plate but severely lacking flavor. Just on the chance I hit it on an off day, I tried it again 3 days later. Same experience. Wont' be back.

Wayne M.

Yelp
Food was good service was ok. 1/2 order, and a full order of biscuits and gravy and a coffee and a tea sets you back $30+. Basically one step above serve yourself.

Yelp
Jackson's Corner NOW charging a boxing fee for takeout! Representing an embarrassing lack of customer service understanding, Jackson's Corner now has a misguided policy to charge customers an additional "takeout boxing" fee of $2. This fee is something new and controversial as I've already heard complaints from three other friends who were ripped off with this hidden fee recently. Today I was told by the very unprofessional "manager" on duty at 11AM this morning that my takeout breakfast sandwich would be charged an additional amount for the "boxing." Nowhere in the establishment is this posted or on any menu. I've been a loyal customer for over ten years but will never set foot inside again after the unreal rude treatment. The first cashier even overcharged me for my item! What's next? Should customers be accosted with a surcharge for napkins? For toilet paper in the restrooms or the plate you eat your meal on?!! What about the general cost of doing business? I'm buying your food!! The "manager" told me that this new charge was "to help keep Jackson's Corner afloat," and that she was not removing the fee. If Jackson's Corner is in such a dire financial state that charging for an inexpensive 5-inch square box is required for solvency, then they're in more trouble than just upsetting customers. After two minutes of debate, she would not remove the fee and my solution was that I'd take the food on a napkin and leave with it. And that's exactly what I did, with zero effort to make the situation better, and I'm sure she tossed that box in the garbage as it already had food in it. Never again Jackson's Corner! So sorry to see your downfall and bad attitude.

Yelp
Nutshell: Amazing food, amazing natural wines, great vibe. When we first came to Jackson corner, I was slightly turned off by the wait in line, order at the counter situation they have here but after eating brunch, everything was just so great, it didn't bother me as much. I will say, they probably saved us some money since we weren't really able to just keep ordering drinks. Which could definitely be seen as a negative though if you're just trying to hang and enjoy brunch. Also, it does get busy and the line gets long for ordering, which can also be a little annoying while eating dinner at the surrounding tables. They do have a separate line if you are there to purchase more store bought goodies since they do have a very simple little market as well. Brunch food was so great we came back another day for dinner. Pizzas were great. Especially with a shared bottle of wine from las Jaras. Hot olives were good too! We had the hot honey pizza and a sausage mushroom one but the hot honey was the clear table winner.

Yelp
Oh Jackson's Corner. What happened to you? My kids and I had dinner on a pretty quiet Tuesday. Ordered the pasta which was tasty. The Thai salad was awful. All the usual nice touches were not there. Mostly lettuce. Three radish slices. Lots of peanuts. Drenched in dressing. For $19. The chicken dinner $34. The fried chicken was pale and the crust tasteless. The potato salad was good. The corn bread was ok. It had this dried cheese on top. My teenage son devoured the food because he was hungry and will pretty much eat anything. My daughter and I shared the pasta. Which was very small portion. We couldn't eat the salad. It was all dressing. All this for $70. We did not order drinks. I used to love JC. It's just not worth the cost, the long line, and the uppity attitude.

Yelp
Spark Notes: This farm to fork is a festival for your mouth. A library to be read between the bookends of your cubby cheeks! I'm not even gonna front. I'd go back, as Alice and Chains sings, "again and again and again." As popular as the World Cup was a week ago and with enough praise on the good ol' World Wide Web, you'd swear L. Messi owned the joint. So, we bit the recommendations and went to see what the fuss was all about. Logically, it gets its name Jackson's Corner b/c it's on the corner of a residentially Zoned corner street (no brained). But I'm not sure which employee was Jackson. It would have been neato to ask how one gets a street corner named after him. Okay, sorry I digressed to irrelevance (like an Elon Musk business). Let's get back on track. Breakfast. Bend. Bring it. I had the Breaky Sammy (see pic). It was great. It was noticeably salty. But I like it like that. Worth $9? Sure. The Apple juice was the best I've had for years. As a child we owned apple trees. Not since we made our own apple juice from the backyard trees have I tasted a glass so purely organic. Order two glasses of this and toast yourself don make a good beverage choice. Your mouth deserves it. The staff is cool. Dressed like locals, no matching uniforms or awkward Hot Dog on a Stick hats, they blend in. It's a subtle, we're one of you. They were training a newbie and I liked how gracefully they did this. It's always great to see people getting new gigs. They hype is real. The food is clean and fresh. The service is respectful. The house transformed into a restaurant as effortlessly as one of Michael Bay's Transformers. You feel at home. Literally. It is clean, cozy, and cute. Yet, not by accident. Everything had its place and purpose. Everything was well thought out and planned. Possibly there was tweaking (not twirling, thank goodness) along the way. But it all clicked in well before I arrived on the corner, where Jackson once was, to eat at a yummy fork-to-table breakfast Sammy l, drink the best glass of AJ with the fam, in a well organized & operated eating establishment.

Yelp
Love how they support local food. Nice outdoor seating allows dogs. Located in a neighborhood so parking is limited. Food tasted great! The dressing was light and tasty. Great place to dine. From out of state and enjoyed!

Yelp
If you read previous reviews they are spot on with the note around wait times. As others have mentioned they are upfront with how long the wait will be before putting your name on their list to help them coordinate seating. We came ~9:30AM on a holiday Monday and the wait was already 45 mins to get to the counter to order and another 25 mins to get your food after ordering. Not sure if it's the holiday rush or if this is standard so seems like coming in earlier is the way to go! By the time we left around 11PM the line was around the block. Jackson's Corner is a counter service establishment meaning you wait in line to order at the counter, once you order they let you know where you're seated, and then bring the food out to you. Water is self-serve with the water station near the barista. The menu here is pretty simple with some classic breakfast items and a unique item such as the huevos rancheros. They also have some sandwiches and salads to pair with the breakfast entrees. Most items are ~$15. We ended up getting the breakfast burrito (with bacon), hueveos rancheros, chicken sandwich, and bread to go. The breakfast burrito had a kick with hot sauce/crema inside but pretty standard. The huevos rancheros were probably the item I saw other tables ordering the most and I can see why. It's super filling with the beans but it also not a really heavy dish if you share it. All their bread is in house so loved that the bread had a nice crunch but spongy and bouncy in the middle with the chicken sandwich. To wash it down we paired the entrees with their lavender and horchata lattes. They were unique and nice to try but the horchata was a little too sweet for my taste buds while the lavendar flavor could have been more enhanced. Will I say that their menu is super unique where I would wait the 1 hr+ again? Probably not but they are definitely worth checking out if you have time. There were others asking around if calling in would be faster but the staff mentioned ETA would be fairly similar. Overall, staff here is super friendly and even brought out waters while we were waiting in line. They also have some wines, beers, and breads for sale once you get inside and ingredients are locally sourced around the area.

Yelp
You can taste the love and the local ingredients. The sausage in the breaky sammy was so delicious. The matcha latte was beautiful and the atmosphere was warm, local-feeling, and lovely.
