A Guide to D.C.'s Juice Bar Scene - Eater DC

"Jaco combines a juice bar with something a bit unexpected—a taqueria serving burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and bowls. The Georgetown location serves juices like the Blueberry Hill with pineapple, kale, blueberry, and coconut water." - Christine Blau, Adele Chapin, Missy Frederick, Stephanie Carter

Google
What a GEM, I visited Jack Taco which was recommended by masseur - after getting a massage Saturday morning, I was hungry and at Jack Taco - this place was phenomenal - the team was very hospitable, and accommodating! The food is delicious - small space inside but the food and service was too-tier, I had the chicken quesadillas which were made to perfection! I sat at the bar where majority of the seating is located and there’s also some outdoor seating! I did not have any of the juices as I was full off my meal made to order - I even ordered a few tacos to go and they were yummy as well! I highly recommend anyone looking for so delicious tacos oh they serve breakfast all day long as well! Check out the location and you will not be disappointed - I definitely will be back!

Google
This little bar is tucked away with signage showing the entrance. There are two tables inside and a bar area to sit, facing where they make the smoothies/food. There are public bathrooms and they offer an order ahead service. The employees are super nice and get the orders out quickly. The food is good and the smoothies are refreshing! Plan to spend $10 on a smoothie and $7-13 on food. It’s pretty busy on this Saturday afternoon but not a long wait. I would highly recommend!

My favorite fresh pressed juices in Georgetown. Delicious. Lively atmosphere. Wonderful, attentive, and friendly staff. A great way to start your morning or a boost in the middle of the day. Outdoor seating available and delivery.

This was amazing! The Brooklyn smoothie (no Agave) blew me away with its light fluffy cardamom scented flavor, and I make green smoothies every day. It was hard to put down. And the breakfast burritos were toasty and satisfying with the little hot sauce packets that came with it. Service was great though she found it hard to hear us inside, and I would only warn against some of the outdoor tables as it is an incline some are very tippy haha. But a very cute place and wow that smoothie.

Google
Stumbled upon this place when trying to find some late lunch and was pleasantly surprised! We didn’t try the juices, but the tacos were so good and for pretty decent prices. It’s nice to sit outside when the weather is pleasant too. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
I liked this taco spot. It's very unique, I don't know of another tacos and smoothie type of place. The tacos were alright I liked the assortment of sauces, my smoothie along with the service was outstanding. They have this cool outdoor patio where you can sit on nice days.

Google
Really nice outdoor seats (big tables, lots of tables, etc) nice counterspace seating inside. Good vegan options (and not just boring rice and beans like most places, they have kale, potatoes, corn, vegan chorizo etc.) Good for allergies too (like i didn't find cheese in my bowl) Juices also good. Smoothie bowls looked good. Staff really nice and helpful w ordering.

Google
I don’t eat tacos, but I’ve had many people recommend this place for their juice. I’m so glad I decided to try it. The Mean Green was incredibly fresh and delicious!

Yelp
How to turn anyone on with a single word? Tacos, juice and açaí bowls really get a lot of ppl going. #jacostacos #dcfoodie Jaco Juice and Taco Bar -- 1614 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Wash, DC --Hours: Every Day -- 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM On any given beautiful day, when visiting G'Town section of DC, you must stop and eat at Jaco Tacos. It's a juice, smoothie and taco bar that's perfect for breakfast, brunch, dinner or even lunch. Just make sure you arrive before 4 PM. We had breakfast burritos and smoothies -- the "Hot Mess," which is scrambled organic egg, sausage, potato, roasted red pepper, caramelized onion and american cheese. It was pure deliciousness and could be shared or eaten for 2 meals. Smoothie: We also had the "Plain Jane" -- Strawberry, blueberry, vanilla yogurt, cinnamon and agave "YOLO" -- Strawberry, banana, kale, peanut butter, milk and agave It was all relatively healthy, extremely tasty and so many delicious options to select from -- you can be either really healthy or really bad, it's up to you and based on what you choice. Whatever you choose, I guarantee that'll all be scrumptiously prepared and will delight your taste buds.

Yelp
Best breakfast burritos and fruits smoothies that I've had in DC so far. I highly recommend trying this place out over some of the more popular breakfast spots. Get the hot mess burrito (can easily be shared with someone else) and the mad mango smoothie and thank me later.

Yelp
Love this place, but the size of the tacos for $8 (2 tacos for $8) is getting ridiculous. I've gotten such small tacos recently. It's so disappointing

Yelp
Tried Jaco out on my lunch break. Ordered online and picked up. Tacos were fresh and made to order. The tacos were good. I didn't add any additional toppings due to rushing. Toppings would most likely make the tacos amazing. The beef was well seasoned and moist. The pork was a little dry but once again I believe toppings would have saved this. Pork was seasoned well. The beef taco was my favorite.

Yelp
once again, another melted acai bowl. the presentation was completely ruined because of it

Yelp
I have had tacos and juice here twice now. The breakfast tacos were huge when I had them a couple of weeks ago. This morning I opted for chicken tacos - one tinga and one Tijuana street. Both were great. Staff were nice and smiley and the place is cute with a gut covered outdoor space

Yelp
First of all-- what a cute name, and a combination of two things that I absolutely love-- Juice and TACOS! I absolutely adore this Mexican juice spot, and treat myself to the smoothies here regularly. Truly my absolute favorite smoothie of all time is made here... read on to see what it is! Pros: Set-up: Absolutely adorable location and seating area off of Wisconsin! The bright colors, cute outdoor area, and line outside always draw my attention to this location as I walk up and down this busy Georgetown street-- very good content for a gram! Drinks: I have tried a variety of drinks from JACO but I must say that probably the best smoothie that I have every tried in my entire life is their Acai smoothie. It could not be more delicious, and refreshing. Sweet (but not too sweet) and fruity!! I could drink one of these every single day and not get tired of it! Tacos: The tacos here are really delicious. There are vegetarian options which is perfect for me, but also my friends attest that the meat tacos are really good as well! The tacos that they offer come with various spices and levels of customization. You really can create your own custom taco here. Service: The service is very friendly and speedy here! Both in person (even if there is a crowd) and via delivery (as they are present on most major food delivery platform in DC) JACO gets your food out to you quickly. Other: Prices are a bit expensive-- portion sizes are average here. JACO is located on a main touristy street in Georgetown, and the quality of the food is really good, so the high prices are somewhat expected. For a large smoothie, expect to pay $10-11. Prices are not outrageous, but this also is not cheap. For me, it is very worth the price though!

Yelp
Pretty good breakfast burritos. I got the hot mess with the cheese substituted for cheddar. Served hot fresh. If you are into decent breakfast burritos for a reasonable price, this is for you.

Yelp
I came here with my sister earlier today. We both had chicken quesadillas and smoothies. The quesadillas were very seasoned and tasty. Our smoothies were delicious and refreshing. I highly recommend this restaurant I you like infusion Tex-Mex. The owner Albert, is a class act! Tell him I said hi!

Yelp
I stopped in for a smoothie when I had about half an hour to kill before an appointment recently. The smoothie was good, but it took forever to get it. They weren't that busy, but it still took a while for someone to greet me and take my order, then even longer to get the smoothie. I wound up having to throw part of it away because I ran out of time before my appointment nearby. It took probably a solid 20 mins, which I just wasn't expecting. It was also pretty expensive - $13 for a "small" smoothie - but it's probably comparable to other places in the area. I don't know that I'd go out of my way to come back here, but I wouldn't mind trying the tacos if I was nearby.

Melissa A.

Yelp
Just want to give some love to one of my absolute favorite spots. It's so hard to find a place that does fresh pressed customizable juices. (So many "juice bars" around here have the same cold pressed junk that you can get from any grocery store). I'm a juice bar nerd and can't stand cold pressed! This gem is absolutely where it's at- they do fresh pressed juices and smoothies. For me it's a perk that I can do low sugar/all veggie juices - this is also hard to find. The food is also incredible. Their quesadillas are my favorite. Love this place so much, please never change!

Yelp
My goto after I sleep in a bit on the weekends. Right off the main drag in Georgetown for convenience. I would order ahead on weekend mornings. You can bet on a long line to get in this place!
google avatar

Yelp
Great tacos very flavorful and fairly prices. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because we ordered 6 tacos and they weren't labeled so it took us a while to decipher which one was which.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
A word of warning: unless you like dumping cayenne pepper and ginger into your mouth and chasing it with a splash of orange juice, avoid the C-Baby drink. It made me ill.

Lorenzo M.

Yelp
Usually pretty good but just found a nail in the veggie taco, see picture. Management, thoughts?

Yelp
Tacos are perhaps my favorite food - true. Jaco's? Excellent tacos!!! Oh my, I love the Baco Taco - avocado, sweet onion, tomato, sweet corn, cotija cheese, tomatillo salsa and roasted poblano crema. Chips 'n guac? Yup. What a fun spot to grab some delicious tacos and a smoothie. Can't wait to return - 5 stars!

Alexander D.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing. A little bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it given the quality of ingredients and how well the food is prepared. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Tacos and juice are two of my favorite things this world can offer, so I was stoked when I had the opportunity to drop by this spot during my recent trip to DC. The restaurant is tucked away in cozy Georgetown neighborhood and seems to attract a bit of a crowd during their brunch hour. The interior is super cute with bar seating and small tables along the walls for smaller groups. You order at the cashier in front, they give you a number, and you wait patiently for your tacos and juice smoothies to come out. I ordered two Fish Tacos ($3.50 a piece) and their Key Lime Smoothie ($7), since I was feeling something sugary to kickstart my day. Less than ten minutes passes and my food was on my table and ready to be consumed. The fish was grilled and covered with a tangy, pineapple salsa and red cabbage slaw. Surprisingly the flavors matched very well, albeit very sour. My Key Lime Smoothie was a blend of lime juice, apple, avocado, yogurt, graham, and agave. While it was small, the flavors inside were so tantalizing that it was hard for me to finish the smoothie. Definitely consider sharing it because while it is good, it was a bit much for one person to be able to finish. Jaco definitely does a good job in bringing some great, fresh flavors to the area. Go in groups so you can try multiple things and have a better understanding of what you like.

Yelp
This place rocks! It was my go to place to catch up with friends or bring visitors because they have something for everyone. From tacos to bagels to smoothies, you're bound to find something you like. The prices are fairly reasonable for a juice bar and the Georgetown area. My favorites are the PB&J smoothies and breakfast burritos. Although you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. The servers are super nice, but the service can be a bit slow. Another thing is that inside seating is limited to two tables and counter top stools. However when it's nice outside they have a very cute little courtyard and it's string lights and plenty of outdoor tables. Come here if you're craving a smoothie or a burrito! It's a fun fast casual place, and different than other Georgetown eateries.

Yelp
This place is AMAZINGGGGGGG. It's such a cute spot! My friend and I shared a pb and j smoothie and a breakfast burrito. Wow. The smoothie is sooooo peanut buttery and delicious. The burrito I downed in 5 seconds. I took bites of my friends açaí bowl and chips (what's new) and they were amazing. The bowl was HUGE and so healthy. I love chips and they were crunchy crispy and yellow. The outside area is cute too. Love it
google avatar

Hall W.

Yelp
This was interesting for me. Smoothies - definitely 5 stars... I got the pineapple coconut smoothie. It had a substantial amount of fruit and only a bit of ice (enough to be cold... but not too much to be annoying) Tacos - 3 stars. Clearly, it was less than super fresh and less than well seasoned. It was still tasty though, but just run of the mill, nothing to special. It hit the spot for a quick lunch at a reasonable price point. So it averages out to be 4. Great for: Break ups, quick lunches, take out, smoothie cravings Not great for: First dates, 2nd dates, meeting the parents, or watching Netflix on your laptop.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing little spot for juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, bagels, or tacos. I typically come on the weekends for a breakfast açaí bowl but their tacos are like Tijuana street tacos, with a safer atmosphere. If you get the tacos or bagels, add some of their amazing hot sauces. Heck, add it to the smoothies or juices if you're feeling feisty. Staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. It's a small spot so if there is a line, be patient- the food is worth the wait!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. I don't get to it much bc of Gtown location, but when I do- it is Stellar . Great customer service- 10/10 The food is really good . Tacos amazing 10/10 Juices and açaí bowls , the same 10s. All of the ingredients are there for you to see (nothing hidden). All quality ingredients and fresh produce and you can taste it. Can't Recommend this place enough. Prices are respectable also
google avatar

Cassie P.

Yelp
Came here for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the street tacos braised beef which came with beef, white onions, and cilantro. I was looking forward to the tacos but I was pretty underwhelmed with them. The beef was a little dry and flavorless and if it weren't for the hot sauces they had, it would be very bland. Aside from the tacos I saw many people ordering smoothies and juices that looked delicious. Perhaps next time I'll get some of their drinks but probably opt out of the tacos. The place does have a pretty cool laid back vibe and outdoor seating, so that was a plus.
google avatar

Eliseo F.

Yelp
I always have a wonderful experience at Jaco Juice and Taco Bar. I had 3 fish tacos and a steak quesadilla, the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I love the açaí bowls and all the juice options also! Highly recommend

Yelp
This place is so adorable! I never knew how well of a combo tacos and juice are. Ingredients are definitely fresh and I love how many different smoothie and juice choices they have. I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
I stumbled upon this unassuming place and since then, I continue to come back for their delicious tacos and fresh juice (go figure). But they have so much more to offer. I've only been here during lunch time, but they seem to have an amazing and extensive list of breakfast/brunch items to choose from - with a good number of them being vegan and vegetarian options! My personal favorite tacos are: Baco Taco - Chunky guacamole, caramelized onion, pico, sweet corn, cotija cheese, roasted poblano crema and tomatillo salsa Fish Taco - North Atlantic cod, pineapple salsa, cabbage slaw, roasted poblano crema and tomatillo salsa Did you know they use homemade corn tortillas? I love that they have so many hot sauce flavors to choose from - who doesn't like options? Now onto the juices - my go to is the Baco - fresh squeezed OJ, carrot and ginger. I love citrus and tart drinks, so I asked if they could add some lemon - and they did with no extra charge! **Tip: They have happy hour prices on certain weekdays and times for their juices - check the chalkboard!** Now, I'm craving a Baco juice...
google avatar

Yelp
I came here during the Georgetown French Market, so needless to say it was packed. Still, the line moved pretty quick and the employees were super nice even though they were running around like crazy. I had the chicken and pork tacos and they were pretty good but definitely not the best tacos I've ever had. Still, I'd come back here if I ever needed to satisfy a taco craving.
google avatar

Stephany R.

Yelp
AMAZING! My boyfriend and I come here faithfully every Sunday after his soccer games . I always get the same thing ! The baco tacos with beef . Their smoothies are to die for . The place is such a cute warm place . We love it here
google avatar

Abby G.

Yelp
The fish taco is great; the slaw and pineapple salsa on top pairs really well. I have heard that the smoothies are good, but I haven't tried them myself. Quick service, too. Gives me west coast vibes, which I miss and love.
google avatar

Theresa B.

Yelp
This was right next door to the Brow Bar and I had two hours to kill before my microblading appointment, so I stopped in here for some lunch and a smoothie. It was a little crowded inside, but they do have some outside seating as well. I got the three cheese quesadilla and the key lime smoothie. The quesadilla was good, but I mean it's a quesadilla, right? Quesadillas are simple enough to always be good. The smoothie was amaaazing though. The flavor was very multidimensional, and it even had tiny bits of what tasted/felt like pie crust in it. It was really filling too. Nonetheless, it will still take all my willpower not to get another after my appointment.
google avatar

Gabrielle G.

Yelp
Dare I say better than South Block?? I had the Maui Wowi bowl and enjoyed every last spoonful! Wonderful portion size, refreshing, and fresh ingredients (granola was delicious). The workers were friendly and in high-spirits, joking with each other and customers. They were out of Bee Pollen, but offered to replace it with any topping of my choice. I only had a smoothie bowl, so I cannot vouch for the tacos that put the "aco" in Jaco, but they smelled amazing! Will definitely return!
google avatar

Riya D.

Yelp
I have major love for this spot! I love acai bowls, and have been hunting out the best spots for them in D.C. ever since I moved here. I came in to Jaco on a rainy day and grabbed a seat at the counter while they whipped up my All Good Acai bowl. When I ordered, I made sure to ask if the granola topping was gluten free, and they added a note saying gluten-free on my order, which I appreciated. Sitting at the bar, I could see that the acai bowl was made and topped with granola. When the woman making it saw the gluten-free note on the order, she apologised to me, and made me a brand new bowl from scratch with no granola and added extra chia seeds to the top instead. I loved the chill surfer vibe in here, had a great chat with the staff about the book I was reading, and the acai bowl was so pretty that the people sitting near me were all asking what it was and could they get one too! Tacos, Acai bowls, good vibes, gluten-free friendly - can't wait to come back soon!

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. I was super excited to try this because it's gotten good reviews and I had a ton of friends who put up pictures that I had seen of the tacos. I think I maybe had too high of expectations but everything fell a little short for me. The place is definitely aesthetically pleasing and it's sort of tucked away like a hole in the wall. Not a ton of seating but I didn't have problems getting a table with some friends on a Sunday morning. I got the Pineapple Express juice, which sounded really good on the menu but it just lacked something I couldn't put my finger on. It was a little bland and almost thick, but nothing super special. I also got the chicken adobo tacos and the pulled pork taco. They both had just meat on them with some cabbage slaw and a little sauce and that was it. They were super bland and boring- although pretty. My friend got the braised beef which I thought was at least a little more tasty. Overall I think I had hyped this place up a little in my head and I was a bit disappointed but maybe I need to go back and try different items off the menu.
google avatar

Sharon K.

Yelp
I am a huge fan of both Chaia and South Block. Fortunately they are both off of the same street near SoulCycle, but what happens when I want both tacos and a smoothie? Enter Jaco. Right up the street on the other side of Wisconsin is the cutest little tucked away cafe/taco bar/juice bar/smoothie shop/acai bowl spot. Although the space itself isn't huge, the vibes and food/drinks are worth it. When the weather is nice there is outdoor seating with adorable decorative lights overhead (perfect for Instagramming) and the food is great too. This place is such a perfect little spot and I will definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Jose M.

Yelp
Ordered from Postmates and got food and juices. The quesadilla was nothing special, just a quesadilla. The Baco taco, pork taco, and fish tacos were all solid. The carrot juice was all carrot and the c-baby made my wife feel a little better during her cold. Wheatgrass shots solid. I also tried the key lime shake and while I didn't enjoy it as much as some other reviewers, it was pretty tasty. Overall, solid, and a good concept. I'd order from here again.
google avatar

Catherine C.

Yelp
So yummy, stay open! Can't wait to get there again now that I'm vaccinated. Fresh and delicious, even worth the occasional wait. Or they time they just ran out of some veggies. They improvised and it was still delicious. Plus the patio is adorable.
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
Edited: Fresh juices and smoothies. Mexican fare. You can tell they use very fresh ingredients, yet you rarely have to wait more than 5 minutes for them to prepare your food. Food has really improved since opening. I like that they have music inside, and it's also nice they have a big space in the front for outside seating. Perfect place to have lunch at on a nice day.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong- the service and ambience are great. This is the "whitest," most bland restaurant I've ever eaten from. I ordered 3 different tacos, but when I asked if they had horchata the response was "jorchata, right? (emphasis on the hard 'jor') It's a hot drink?" Um, no. I'll have a smoothie... thanks *sideye* The pulled pork taco was so bland I couldn't believe it was pork. The texture was a little dry, though it was easy to chew... it just had no taste, and I can't say that enough. This was like a hipster fart. The fish taco was embarrassing. I think they chew the fish and spit it into a tortilla... after brushing their teeth with vegan gluten and fluoride free toothpaste. I'm from California, and fish tacos are supposed to have a firm fillet. This was minced and bland. The chicken taco... well I can vaguely taste something, but it might be the cheese. To top it off the tortillas are not toasty. I can see they have a grill, and they toast their flour tortillas, but these tasted like they came from Safeway. I can see how this restaurant is surviving. It it the ultimate symbol of gentrification in the most heavily gentrified area of DC, Georgetown. It beckons to plaid shirt small beanie bearded dorks who play Pokemon Go and rail against the Wall on social media. In fact this is what will happen if the wall is built - every cuisine will be appropriated by amateur trust fund babies, and they'll call whatever hipster crap a "taco." The smoothie was good, but for the price there are much better smoothies available. This is hands down the worst tasting tacos I've ever eaten, and I believe wholeheartedly it is nearly impossible to make tacos taste any worse.

Yelp
Tried the All Good Acai bowl and it was - all good! There were A LOT of fruits on this than the other acai bowls i've tried. The acai blend itself is good, it's just too melted than I would like it to be, but nothing to complain about. I like that they have usb slots on their tables too! Excellent for DC tourists like me that uses my google maps and yelp to go around.

Yelp
Jaco Juice and Taco Bar is tucked away on Wisconsin and is a nice addition to the eatery options in the area, but this place is missing the mark a little bit for me. When you walk in, it's a little unclear where you should go, but after being here twice, I think you are supposed to order over on the left whether you plan on eating there or taking your food to go. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The juices are expensive ($6+ for a small), but exciting, and definitely different than what is currently available in the area. I have had the Pineapple Express and the Mean Green. The Pineapple Express was more of a treat, while the Mean Green was more healthful. This place has tacos, burritos, acai bowls, and quesadillas. I ordered the Slow Cooked Pulled Pork, the Tijuana Street Taco, the Chorizo Taco, and the Adoba Chicken. Despite the exciting ingredients listed on the menu, the tacos were bland tasting. The Chorizo Taco was the most flavorful, and if you try this place out, I would definitely include that in your order.

Yelp
Great breakfast quesadillas. We really enjoyed it. They have a nice variety. We ate outside and it was nice.

Yelp
I came here after a long day of museum in DC. was craving something filling and healthy. Got the Maui Wowi acai bowl and it had its pluses and minuses. I'd give the bowl here a 3.5-4: toppings were tasty and plentiful, especially the fruit which I loved. I was not a fan of the Acai base though. it didn't taste as fresh as what I've had at places back home. portion is nice and sizeable and compared to other places, these acai bowls are very well priced in my opinion. service was 5/5, very nice staff that were kind and attentive.
google avatar

Katherine L.

Yelp
Others have similarly noted the interesting combination of juice and tacos. Why not? Innovative is good. Why should juice belong only to juice bars? Why should tacos only belong in taquerias? I commend this shop for blending such lovely options together. The place is tucked a bit off the street, so they have room for your bike to park off the street. Also, there is somewhat more private outdoor seating despite it being in the front of the establishment. When you walk inside, there are a few options for seating and a long counter that runs nearly the entire length of the establishment. Behind this counter, that's where the juices, smoothies and food are made. When I arrived, there were 4 people at the ready to make food and beverages. However, it was not very convincing about whether someone was ready to take my order. They all seemed shy about it- odd. Anyhow, after my order, the food and drink were prepared relatively quickly. The staff was polite. It was cool to see it all made right there. The options for juices and smoothies are plentiful. I will likely be back to try a smoothie and acai bowl, but the hours are pretty narrow. Unless you plan to head out there or live in the area, it is not some place where you can easily just show up. The taco choices are alright, and I did ask for one of them to be veganized. To what result: corn tortilla with white beans, kale and potatoes. Served with hot sauce and nothing else. Boring. Fresh and hot, yes. I do like the ingredients, but it wasn't anything I couldn't easily make myself. This made the prices feel quite high for the food. In addition, the juice was the most watery freshly pressed juice that I had ever had. I wondered why the prices were low for the juices, and now I know why. So all in all, nice concept. Fun to be here, but I will not go out of my way to go again.

Yelp
They were getting ready to close when I came in to grab some tacos. I had read a funny comment from another yelper saying their food taste like nothing and they were certainly right, we ordered two chicken tacos, two pork tacos and two beef tacos and they were all L's. The hot sauce made them edible, amen. I didn't want those $25 to go to waste. Pros: The food was prepared to order and the cilantro was very fresh. The meat wasn't seasoned greatly so I know it won't upset my stomach. Cons: Very tasteless :(

As a previous California resident, I am stuck in an eternal hunt for a good burrito (breakfast and lunch/dinner) in the VA/DC area. Sadly, Jaco will not fill that void. While the breakfast burrito was ok, it certainly was not worth the $8 (normally would be like $4-5 in CA). I ordered the froman and substituted bacon. I won't dwell on the bacon because it was my choice to substitute it, but the bacon was finely chopped and hardly noticeable in the burrito. The main issue I take with the burrito was the potatoes. Anyone can make a breakfast burrito at home, the real reason we don't is because making proper potatoes for it is a pain/hard to get them to right level of crispy. Unfortunately, the potatoes in this burrito were not any better than what I can make at home. They were soft and mushy, and overall just lacking. While not terrible, I basically paid $8 for cheesy scrambled eggs in a tortilla. The hunt for a good (appropriately priced) breakfast burrito continues....

Yelp
We love this place!! They have smoothies, acai bowls, and amazing tacos all at an affordable price! Large shaded patio up front allows for a perfect taco dinner while bringing the pup! The tacos are freshly made and brought to you nice and warm. They take such great pride in delivering the perfect taco each and every time. We keep coming back!

Yelp
Easily my favorite juice bar quickly accessible in Georgetown. Whether if you are looking for a smoothie to cool down or juice for detox / losing weight, this is the spot. Brooklyn and nutter butter are my favorites for smoothies, Just Beet It and C-Baby for detox and metabolism boost. The juices and tacos are both served extremely quickly. For how quick the service is, the quality of the tacos are more than enough for quick lunch or dinner. There is also rewards program for discounts and free drinks. Winning. Juice: 9/10 Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10

Yelp
I really really want to like this place, although kind of a peculiar concept. Tacos + juice. Not really sure where this idea came from, however I like tacos and I like juice, even better I like acai bowls! First disappointment was I found out about this place in early fall and it has taken them until January to open their doors. Key my anticipation blowing through the roof. They are on winter hours right now, so early mornings until 5 pm. Not bad for a place right by my work and on my way. I stopped early in the morning for an acai bowl. I'm a native Coloradan and just spent a decent amount of time in Southern California, naturally I'm a huge fan of these things. However, I didn't think my acai bowl was anything more than a smoothie in a bowl. Tad disappointing, especially for the $10 I was willing to shovel out. Restaurant is set back farther from the street. Cute little store front with limited seating inside. Regardless the decor was adorable and the staff was even more pleasant. I want to come back solely based on my experience. Tacos are next on my bucket list at Jaco Taco but I might leave the acai bowl To someone else, despite them being largely unavailable in DC
