We entered that restaurant because we like cosy places. We did like we do usually, we did not check the menu first (a quick look on Google made us understood it is not the restaurant you go if your are vegan 😉).
Our first impression inside was the cosyness and the open kitchen which offers you a nice atmosphere and a great transparence to what is happning inside.
When we looked at the menu, and saw the price. We directly thaught, « wow did not expect that, but let’s try it anyway ».
And that has been my best culinar experience so far, even have I been in stared restaurants. A single bite in their meat and you forget the price (which by the way is clearly worth it). Their Rib Eye was just melting you don’t even need a knife, the wine of their card is also a as delicious as the meat they serve.
I am travelling all around the world for my work and never ate such a good rib eyes. I would recommend Jacob’s Restaurant to anyone who is a real meat lover.
I just can’t wait to go back there to try their « côte à l’os »… And I almost forgot the service is on top 😉
