"Planned as one of the Pacific Northwest’s first 100 percent nonalcoholic breweries, Heck is being developed by Andy McMillan and brewer Justin Miller and will launch with an IPA and a lager brewed using Washington-grown Citra and Cascade hops; the team emphasizes using modified brewing processes that stay as close to traditional methods as possible (not producing beer by distillation or dealcoholization) so the beers are hoppy and punchy rather than diluted, will first appear at collaborative pop-ups hosted by Portland restaurants and bars before moving into grocery stores, bottle shops and online sales, and ultimately aims to open a production brewery and distribute globally — with the founders believing they can make something better than Athletic Brewing." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
