Always a beautiful peaceful place to come study or take pictures. Well maintained area.

Really lovely, easy for an outsider to visit - there's a parking lot right there, and while I'm sure it's for students, no one will mind if you park for a few minutes to look! Beautiful campus.

A very solemn place located within Abilene Christian University. A good place to meditate. Ample parking.

Jacob's Dream Sculpture is the perfect place to take photos, eat lunch or to sit and enjoy quiet time. It's peaceful and allows you to reflect. There are so many beautiful focal points with inspiring words of affirmation and reminders of the beauty of the universe and God. The lush grass and landscaping is a beautiful backdrop. My daughter graduated from Abilene Christian University and I decided to take her photos here. I'm no professional but ... I must say they came out GREAT!

Been wanting to go for awhile now, finally made the trip. It was better than I thought it would be, little hard to find, at lest for me. Man what creativity.

❤️ I saw the picture and I had to see because I felt God's anointing!!! We were meet by a gentleman who gave us a prophetic word and it was so amazing how we just fellowshipped!!! A great day in Abilene Texas!!!! ❤️

You can really feel God's peace and presence here. Please take a look for yourself. It's very accessable to everyone and they have hammocks set up around the area Incase you want to stay a while.

If you're in Abilene, Texas, it's worth it to make a quick stop to Jacob's Dream Sculpture on the campus of Abilene Christian University. The design is in reference to Jacob's dream of a ladder (or staircase) resting on top of earth ascending towards heaven from Genesis 28:12: "And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set upon the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it" (King James version). The story from the Bible is already amazing, but this sculpture is fascinating... It features tons of stones. Bible verses carved into said stones. A set of stairs. A small fountain/pool. When you're standing on the west point - as the path is marked by the major directional cardinal points - the structure of the stones forms a cross... if you stand just right. One of my photos depicts this. The winged angels climbing the ladder at the top are probably my favorite part of this rather large sculpture. Free parking is available nearby. We never had security or anyone tell us to move, but it was after all the start of Thanksgiving break (11/21/2023) and I'm sure visitors of this glorious artwork are given leniency. Recommend!
