I came here on a Saturday evening and was extremely wowed ! My waiter Martin was friendly, warm and attentive. The restaurant music and lighting was just right . I was seated within 5 minutes with no reservations. The food was out of this world . I had the seafood pasta and my daughter had the brisket cheese steak . We will be coming back ! Oh it’s black owned which is a huge plus and I highly recommend trying it out if in Philly area !

My friends and I went to the establishment today and we are not pleased with the service. My friend ordered the Jacob jawn (drink) and when it came to our table it was basically half the glass. My friend asked why it looked like that and the server (really sweet young lady) said that’s how it comes. My friend then said she didn’t want it that she would take a lavender lemon drop instead. The waitress came back and said that they would still have to charge us for the drink (manger’s decision). We asked the manager who did approach our table, he explained because it’s premium liquor they would still have to charge us for it. We proceeded to cancel all of our food order which was a little over $120 not counting our drink order. And left the establishment. The waitress(forget her name) was very sweet. She offered to cover the cost of the 1 drink the manager refused to take off.. because of that we tipped her $40. Another table complained about their food, and they were not pleased. Not sure if they left but we did. Do better Jacobs!!!

Recently, I was in Philly visiting and decided to have Brunch at Jacobs Northwest. The live music was nice but made it difficult to hear. Our waitress was nice enough but it didn't seem that waitressing was her thing. The brunch reminded me of leftovers from their dinner menu the night before. There were no eggs, no waffles or pancakes BUT there were collard greens; I have never ever seen collard greens served for brunch 😭. The brunch options were limited and not very appetizing. The first set of grits were paletable but the refill was really, really salty. I was really hoping to enjoy this experience but the food just didn't get me there.

Jacob's is a very nice restaurant. it's astetically pleasing. Kiki is one of the best servers there. She makes the experience enjoyable and exciting. She brings very good energy to your restaurant experience. Now the food was overall good. However, whoever cooks the beef needs to season the meat. It was very bland. The salmon and crab balls were spectacular. In addition, all the menus need to be updated and verified there all the same. There's were definitely discrepancies with our menus per our last visit. Overall, the experience was nice. I can't wait to hear the live band next time I go. Make sure to bring your drinks, its byob.

I visited Jacob’s for brunch with a friend! I have been in this space when it was Milo’s & North by Northwest! This is a large space and the decor that is currently in place doesn’t fill up the space and on this particular day it was very chilly inside, patrons were eating meals with their coats on?! I was informed that for brunch it is BYOB be a there aren’t any bartenders available for the morning shift! I wish I knew this ahead of time..but I ordered a beer with my meal and kept it simple! The service and the food was fine..nothing special, but eating a meal while feeling cold is not pleasant!

The food and drinks are amazing and atmosphere is a vibe. We visited on New Year’s Day for brunch. There were multiple stations for breakfast and lunch/dinner and bottomless mimosas. I highly recommend this black-owned and ran, restaurant.

I’ve experienced this craziness. They charged my card 21 times and took 4,287 out my account….. It took 1hr and half for appetizers, you would think the wings are good from a picture… it was SO PINK in the inside I had to play it off and act like my nephew needed to be changed and take my nephew to the bathroom to stick my finger down my throat to throw up—— the food didn’t come out til almost a 1 hour after, the drinks were not served properly because each drink that was given had old food or restaurant particles in it from another event, the wings wasn’t done and smelt like it was made from old grease and whatever else they dip in to fried food with, the chicken pasta was so dry my sister started making her own sauce, we kept asking for wine and never received that but I was charged for it, they gave us hot drinks and had to keep taking them back just to get them cold. By the time food came no one wanted anything anymore and decided to just be nice and pay but once that happened they over charged us and out there own tip on the receipt as 150 dollars. Even after the charges were made that day after $99.18 and $78.48 was taken out from my card that the bank blocked my card from my using it and send me a whole new card. The waiter was TERRIBLE juggling all of us when we needed about two or three of them while the rest was sitting and on their phones paying attention to tiktok and drinking wine and other things on the job. the waiter was stuttering the whole night trying to find a good reason why we had to wait hours for food and lied and said because appetizers were first and cook us making our dinner when he didn’t go around the table yet to place our actual orders in yet lmaoooo this is comical. I cannot make this up TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE 🙄✋🏼
