I came here on a Saturday evening and was extremely wowed ! My waiter Martin was friendly, warm and attentive. The restaurant music and lighting was just right . I was seated within 5 minutes with no reservations. The food was out of this world . I had the seafood pasta and my daughter had the brisket cheese steak . We will be coming back ! Oh it’s black owned which is a huge plus and I highly recommend trying it out if in Philly area !

My friends and I went to the establishment today and we are not pleased with the service. My friend ordered the Jacob jawn (drink) and when it came to our table it was basically half the glass. My friend asked why it looked like that and the server (really sweet young lady) said that’s how it comes. My friend then said she didn’t want it that she would take a lavender lemon drop instead. The waitress came back and said that they would still have to charge us for the drink (manger’s decision). We asked the manager who did approach our table, he explained because it’s premium liquor they would still have to charge us for it. We proceeded to cancel all of our food order which was a little over $120 not counting our drink order. And left the establishment. The waitress(forget her name) was very sweet. She offered to cover the cost of the 1 drink the manager refused to take off.. because of that we tipped her $40. Another table complained about their food, and they were not pleased. Not sure if they left but we did. Do better Jacobs!!!

Jacob's is a very nice restaurant. it's astetically pleasing. Kiki is one of the best servers there. She makes the experience enjoyable and exciting. She brings very good energy to your restaurant experience. Now the food was overall good. However, whoever cooks the beef needs to season the meat. It was very bland. The salmon and crab balls were spectacular. In addition, all the menus need to be updated and verified there all the same. There's were definitely discrepancies with our menus per our last visit. Overall, the experience was nice. I can't wait to hear the live band next time I go. Make sure to bring your drinks, its byob.

Thank you, Jacobs Northwest, for hosting the Philly MTCC Happy Hour! Your food and drinks were excellent and perfectly accommodated our party of 30. There were minimal hiccups with some food items not being available from the menu. The atmosphere made for a great gathering. We truly appreciate the hospitality and look forward to visiting again!

I visited Jacob’s for brunch with a friend! I have been in this space when it was Milo’s & North by Northwest! This is a large space and the decor that is currently in place doesn’t fill up the space and on this particular day it was very chilly inside, patrons were eating meals with their coats on?! I was informed that for brunch it is BYOB be a there aren’t any bartenders available for the morning shift! I wish I knew this ahead of time..but I ordered a beer with my meal and kept it simple! The service and the food was fine..nothing special, but eating a meal while feeling cold is not pleasant!

The food and drinks are amazing and atmosphere is a vibe. We visited on New Year’s Day for brunch. There were multiple stations for breakfast and lunch/dinner and bottomless mimosas. I highly recommend this black-owned and ran, restaurant.

We came to Jacobs Northwest on Easter Sunday to support a Black-owned business, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. They charged $60 per adult for food that wasn’t worth anywhere near that price completely ridiculous. On top of that, they rushed us with a time limit like we were being pushed out, even though the place wasn’t even full. The host who assisted us was rude and unprofessional, and there was no manager around to speak with. This was our first time coming here, and it will definitely be the last. We love supporting Black-owned businesses, but the experience here was terrible. Do better. After speaking with the owner, attended the second time the owner was able to go beyond and resolve the issues! Thank you so much. 😊 my family are satisfied and don’t feel taking advantage of! :)
