Loved, loved this bar! What a delight! We came here on a Saturday just right after 7pm. We decided to stay at the upstairs bar called Jacques. It was empty and cozy. We were greeted by a hostess who was helpful and explained the drinks to us. The cocktails are nicely presented and indeed strong, one can last you a while. Around 9pm, people started coming in and it got a bit full (I was glad to have a couple of hours of an empty, posh bar for ourselves). Everything was scenic! Even their bathroom was stylishly retro, clean and chic. This is a perfect spot for first dates!

We visit Paris ever year to see my son from the U.S. I have been all over the city in the last 7 years and Jacques is the best bar in Paris for the following reasons. 1.) It's a little hidden gem (speak easy-ish) located at the top of the Hoxton Hotel. There is a stairway behind reception that leads to the bar. 2.) The inside is small and intimate with seating for maybe 35-40 people with good music (jazzy meets Frank Sinatra). This is perfect to have a nice sit down with friends and enjoy each others company. 3.) The bartenders are craftsman and it shows in the drinks. Jacques is busy so its best to get here before you go out to dinner and more mid-week. Thu-Sat it fills up very fast. Do yourself a favor and find this bar! if you get here and there is no seating then head downstairs to the bar on the 1st floor its a good one as well.

Excellent bar! It’s a cosy bar at the first floor of Hoxton hotel, with great vibe and top cocktails. Bartender is a real pro - bar menu is already cool and unique; and he also creates personalized cocktails really matching your taste. I also really liked the style and atmosphere in the bar - intimate and fun.

Great bar, serving great cocktails and having extremely friendly and helpful staff. The bar is very small, so chances are you will get turned away or have to wait a bit. But it is definitely worth it. The cocktails each have an individual note and are delicious. Prices are well above average, but that's Paris.

I love chill vibes and amazing drinks at Jacques. One of my most favorite places I want to come back in Paris.

I cant recommend this bar enough!!! The staff was just so friendly and helpful, specially Margarida who went extra mile to accommodate us. We ordered a espresso martini, bloody mary, margaret, d.mami and others…all delicious.

One of the greatest cocktail bar in Paris. Good vibe and atmosphere. Ideal for cocktail lovers. Magalie and Benji were great hosts and talented bartenders !!!
