Meet the LA Couple Behind the Speakeasy Rideau and Restaurant Jade | Eater LA

"Located along one of Beverly Hills’ busiest strips, Jade opened on May 8 as a modern Japanese fusion spot where consultant chef Matteen Khalifian blends traditional sushi with fusion items like Korean corn cheese and hamachi crudo aimed at a more affluent crowd. I saw uni and caviar service alongside theatrical, high-end offerings such as the $485 "467 Carat Premium Dragon" platter, which includes sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi with Kaluga Hybrid Reserve caviar served on a massive dragon-shaped vessel over dry ice. Cocktails match the green-tinged room with twists on classics—a yuzu margarita and a Tokyo mule made with rice vodka—and the vibrant green back-lit bar seems primed to attract Instagram-ready crowds; Jade operates Wednesday and Thursday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday beginning at 5:30 p.m." - Mona Holmes

A beautiful gem in Beverly Hills! We had an amazing dining experience at Jade Beverly Hills, from the moment we walked in, the floral décor and elegant ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The restaurant feels cozy, stylish, and very Instagram-worthy, but what really impressed us was the food and the service. We tried the Edamame, Soy Marinated Mushrooms, Wagyu Gyoza, Miso Black Cod, Wagyu Don, and the Onyx Roll; everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Wagyu Don was incredibly tender and satisfying, and the Onyx Roll was a standout. For dessert, we had the Green Tea Ice Cream, which was the perfect light and refreshing finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly. Overall, Jade is a fantastic spot for top-notch Japanese dining in Beverly Hills. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Google
What an amazing experience at this hidden gem in Beverly Hills! Absolutely stunning decor, every dish was top notch with extra ordinary tasting variety of flavors . From sonomono salad to special hr sushi selection everything was a top notch and service was attentive. We love to see larger menu and will be back!

Google
Such an amazing find in Beverly Hills. When you walk down cannon it is kinda hidden in the corner but when you step inside the space opens up. Super cute and Instagram worthy the food was very good and well worth the price we spent about $100pp with drinks, apps, mains, and dessert. Solid price for what you get. The food was artfully presented and tasted epic . My fave dish of the night the spicy tuna with crispy chips if you come during the happy hour, there is a great deal in this dish! Mush try. The menu was kinda small for vegetarians but the sapphire roll (vegetarian) was good and filling. Saved on my return list for sure!

Google
Jade Beverly Hills was a standout on my LA trip. Beautiful space, thoughtful plating, and flavors that feel dialed in. The Spicy Tuna Crisp is a must, the 9 piece nigiri was clean and precise, and the Diamond & Ruby rolls hit that luxe, layered note. Wagyu Don was the favorite, rich and comforting, and the Chutoro Poke was fresh and silky. Easy recommendation for a polished sushi night.

Google
I had a wonderful experience dining at Jade Beverly Hills! I visited with a friend and we loved its gorgeous decor and elegant ambiance - it is definitely one of the most beautiful restaurants in LA. The Wagyu Don is one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, I highly recommend it! We also loved the Smashed Cucumbers and the Spicy Tuna Crisp. Perfect spot for a date night or girls’ night!

Google
Jade Beverly Hills is such a gem. Came for happy hour (5-7PM) which has fun cocktails m and the bites are such a steal. The crudo and spicy tuna crisp are a must, and the nigiri was super fresh. I also loved the DIY handrolls so fun to put together! On top of the food, the ambiance is beautiful and makes the whole experience feel special. Also our server was so attentive and had great recommendations too.

Google
Had a lovely dining experience at Jade in Beverly Hills! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming—and a big plus, the restaurant is pet-friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We tried a variety of items, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The sushi rolls were solid, but the standout for me was definitely the salmon nigiri—melt-in-your-mouth quality. The handrolls were also very good, with a perfect balance of rice and filling. The interior is beautiful, with flowers yet relaxed vibe that makes it a perfect date night spot. It’s definitely on the pricier side, and parking can be a bit of a challenge (street or valet), but overall, it’s absolutely worth visiting at least once, especially for a special night out.

Google
Jade is an elegant restaurant in the heart of Beverly Hills where beautifully crafted Sushi and Wagyu dishes are beautifully crafted. This restaurant seems perfect for date nights, chic dinners, or celebrating life’s special moments in style. I saw two tables celebrating birthdays 🫶 Since we wanted to try something special, we went for the Diamond roll and it became my favorite sushi hand roll! Can you believe it came with cavier & gold flake ‼️The lobster & seared salmon in it were delicious and succulent ! Presentation is top-notch for every dish as well. ✨Highlights✨ 🌿🌸 Sophisticated ambiance with glamorous Beverly Hills vibes 🍸 Craft cocktails that feel as much art as they are drinks. 👌🏻Friendly and knowledgeable staff 🎹Live music mostly on weekends 🚙 Car parking nearby 🧾Costs around $50-100 , its upscale dining- expect each entre dish around $20- $50 and appetisers start at $8 Hope you enjoy!

Yelp
the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to!!! the food was beyond delicious and presented so spectacularly. make sure you get the DIY sushi platter!

Yelp
Went here for dinner on Saturday night. I was looking for a nice and lively ambiance with good sushi . This place definitely didn't disappoint. They had DJ and very nice music was playing in the background. We got there around 8 with reservation and were seated right away. I loved their menu. It had very unique items. We got the spicy tuna appetizer, the DIY hand roll and the jewelry box. All were nicely presented and very generous portions. Service was great and friendly. Everything was so delicious and fresh. These items were all we had and couldn't even finish the DIY. For dessert, we ordered the black sesame cream brûlée. (Could not taste black sesame that much but it was delicious) . They also gave us complementary mochi for my birthday occasion. I will definitely go back here. Structure Parking is available right next door and $5 flat fee.

Yelp
We got starbucks nearby and we decided to walk around Beverlyhills while finishing our drinks, and strolling around we saw this restaurant called "JADE BEVERLY HILLS" the decorations inside caught my eye, it's pretty so I told my son and husband that we might as well try their food since we were in the area. The food that I ordered that I knew my Husband and Son would enjoy are the Following: *WAGYU TARTARE *D.I.Y HANDROLL *WAGYU DON *CHIRASHI *SUMMER IN HAYAMA When we got seated I was impressed with all the different servers that brought our plates and drinks etc. They move FAST around. My drink, the SUMMER IN HAYAMA, came. It has RUM, PINEAPPLE, PANDAN, COCONUT, and LEMON. This was nice, smooth and fruity, I love it 'coz I can taste the Pineapple which is one of my favorites. After that everything came at the same time I ordered the DIY HANDROLL, I really enjoyed this plate, this is a sharable one. I got to make my own rolls, I just wish there was more Seaweed Wrapper or that I had the option to buy more of the wrappers 'coz we had so much stuffing left over, next time I will ask if I can order more wrappers, this DIY is a must to include in your order, it's delicious and fun to have. This DIY ROLL has YELLOW TAIL, SPICY SCALLOP, SPICY TUNA, and SNOW CRAB. It says Spicy, but it's tolerable, not too spicy at all. My Son's WAGYU DON for sure is Delicious 'coz he completely finished it, he said it was tasty and filling. My Husband's CHIRASHI was beautiful and fun to eat too, it has FISH, TAMAGO, UNI, and IKURA. This is also a delicious plate. The WAGYU TARTAR was okay. Their decor inside is pretty, the service is top notch, they know when you need something in your table, they are fast to come, and they are also fast to refill your drinks and get the plates you dont need anymore. Nice staff and clean place, nice vibe inside and good food.

Yelp
What a hidden gem in Beverly Hills! First off, they have free parking (yes, free, for 2 hours!) which is basically unheard of around BH. It's $5 flat after 6pm. Also, wild! I was already impressed before walking in, but it only got better. The sushi was fresh and beautifully prepared, and the happy hour? Truly unbeatable. Great prices, generous portions, and top-tier quality. It was fresh fresh!! LOL. The staff were amazing, so warm and welcoming, and the vibe was relaxed but still chic. Special shoutout to the head chef Ronaldo. He saw us literally cheesy, whilst we watched him making the rolls and he introduced himself. I felt like a regular on my first visit. Whether you're popping in for happy hour or settling in for a full dinner, this place seriously delivers. I highly recommend getting the entire Happy Hour menu! It's around $100. Not too shabby right?! And you get to try all the goodies. My favorite roll was the Onyx and ruby. My parents are visiting in two months, can't wait to show this place off.

Yelp
Jade Beverly Hills is more than just a restaurant it's an experience. Beautiful design, great atmosphere, and elevated Japanese cuisine. Perfect for special occasions, date nights, or a memorable evening in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
Jade is a great spot for date night. The tables are spaced well to allow for easy conversation, and the menu is sure to impress. The staff was quick and attentive, too. I love an Old Fashioned, and their Okinawan version was great. Food-wise, I had to stop myself from eating all the Wagyu Gyoza just so I could share with my date! The Ruby Roll was also delicious and a must-try.

Yelp
Amazing!! I looooved everything we tried but especially the diamond roll and the wagyu gyoza. The ambience is so beautiful and the service was top notch. Run, don't walk here!

Yelp
We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty void of any people. The bouncers were friendly and persuaded us to go in but it was pretty empty when we got inside. The decor is cool and interesting to look at. We didn't stay too long though. Might be worth checking out if you're in the area and want to be at a non-crowded bar. Not many people to mingle with if that's what you're after

Yelp
Ambiance is adorable! Super cute! And great service. Restaurant is not as big as we thought. Restroom is outside the restaurant in the building down the hall which was weird but ok. There's a parking structure right next to it which is $5 flat after 6pm. Now for the food: Corn cheese - was just ok Wagyu gyoza - pretty good Wagyu tartare - he's had better Miso black cod - I've had better 8pc sashimi - he said super fresh & good Miso soup - very good Diamond roll - he said real good Yuzu margarita - he said very good $269 plus tip was our total Would I come back? Nah. @travel_lifestyle_chow

Yelp
Jade is a relatively new restaurant located in the heart of Beverly Hills that serves contemporary Japanese-inspired dishes. It's conveniently located next to a parking structure where they have free parking for two hours. Interestingly, it's located in a commercial building where you have to go across the lobby to get to the restrooms. We made a reservation ahead of time which I recommend doing. WAGYU TARTARE ($29) - the pickled onions added brightness and balance but I felt like it needed a sauce or something else. 3.5/5 SPICY TUNA CRISP ($22) - this reminded me of a spicy tuna on crispy rice but instead of rice it was crispy nori. 4/5 HAMACHI CRUDO ($26) - I loved the chili crisp and the citrus added a nice brightness to the dish. Out of everything we ordered this was my favorite dish. 5/5 JEWELRY BOX CHIRASHI ($42) - I liked the presentation with all the toppings spread out but I was indifferent with the gold flakes. My favorites were the uni and the tuna. 4/5 BLACK COD MISO ($?) - this was one of their specials at the time. The cod was tender and we could really taste the miso. However, the portions could've been bigger. 4/5 ONYX ROLL ($25) - there was good unagi flavor and we could taste some but not a lot of imitation crab. 3.5/5 For drinks, the tenkiame 2.0 ($22) which was refreshing and reminded me of a penicillin with the ginger and lemon. The yuzu margarita ($21) was tart and as its name suggested. The summer in hayama ($24) was sweet, coconut-y, and reminded me of a tiki-style drink. Overall the food was decent but the interior was captivating and the vibes are what you're paying for.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Perfect for date night with your special person or Happy Hour after work. There is bar seating, outdoor seating, and plenty of other seating. My husband and I made a fairly early dinner reservation for Tuesday at 630. There was 1 person there and halfway through dinner another couple came in and sat at the bar. I think because it is a newer restaurant the weekdays must be slower and so a reservation wasn't very necessary. Since we were there at 630 we got the end of happy hour which everything was well priced. We ordered the Waygu Gyoza and Shrimp tempura roll for HH and then then Miso Glazed Cod and 9 piece Nigiri from the main menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the Gyoza. So flavorful and well made. Service was friendly and attentive until it was time for the check. My only negative comment of this experience is that if I say no to dessert, my drinks are empty, the table is clear and dinner is over, I expect the check, but I saw my waitress leave for a vape break and I had to wait for her to come back and ask for the check when we are 1 of 3 tables in the restaurant.

Yelp
we had the best time at Jade Beverly Hills!! The team was absolutely amazing and super helpful. We went in for happy hour, and they had such great prices. I would absolutely recommend getting the Jade roll!! They also have a hamachi Crudo, which was phenomenal. this would be a perfect date spot or happy hour with the girls. they have great ambience and we will absolutely be back !!

Yelp
Ambiance: highlight of this place. Unique and very beautiful and elegant. Definitely a moody place that sets the perfect vibe for date night or a girls night Drinks: Drinks were a bit above average. The presentation of drinks were good with unique garnishbut for $24 cocktails you need to bring the craftsmanship for LAs finest. The liquor ratio overpowered the flavors. Food: this is where I docked stars. I am a fine dining and Japanese cuisine snob. Appetizers were flavorful but the roles and main dishes were a bit above average. The presentation was beautiful but didn't live up to LA culinary expectations. Service: the server was nice and prompt. Made recommendations for their best entrees Overall impression: it's a nice place for vibes, better to stick to a glass of wine and a few of their popular appetizers but wouldn't recommend coming to satisfy the appetite

Yaxcali H.

Yelp
my friend and i were looking for a place to make some time before going home and we ended up finding this place Giovanni and Reynaldo took such good care of us, we had an amazing time and found great food (we weren't even hungry but ended up eating, lol) the vibe is amazing, they had live music that night and it has a vibe of Alice in Wonderland and Little Mermaid strongly recommend it tbh

Yelp
My dear friend took me here for my late birthday dinner and I enjoyed myself. The place is cute and beautiful with nice colorful light blue flowers on the ceiling. The place is small with limited seating. They have a bar and a small seating area outside. The service and food was excellent. We ordered the jade dragon appetizer plate which is their popular rolls , hand rolls, sashimi and salads. It serves up to 4 people. All the rolls, sashimi, and nigiri was delicious. The hand rolls were just ok. They were gummy at the bottom. The edamame and salads were delicious. Great alcoholic drinks. Note: they have late-night music at the restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays with a DJ for dancing. The restaurant is in close quarters to Wally's restaurant. Valet parking near Wally's or public parking in the parking structure. You Can park on the street also. My only disappointment was that the bathroom was not attached to the restaurant. You had to go to the rear of the restaurant into a hallway which is spooky down a hall to the ladies' room.

Cindy H.

Yelp
The drinks here were so good and definitely strong. We ordered the Summer in Hayama, Lychee Martini, Tito's strawberry Lemon Drop, Yuzu Margaritas, Well Tequila Martini, and a mocktail for fun For food, we got the Smashed Cucumber, Spicy Tuna Crisp, Wagyu Tartare, Miso Black Cod, Chirashi, D.I.Y. Handroll, Wagyu Don, and Maki Rolls. Everything we tried was so good. To make the night even better, the staff surprised us with free shots and a chocolate moose dessert to end the birthday dinner. They were so friendly, helped us take pictures, and were honestly the cherry on top of a perfect night. Highly recommend Jade for your next date night, girls dinner, or birthday celebration

Yelp
There are a lot of fancy restaurants in Beverly Hills that are all hype but don't live up to the expectations. This is not one of those spots! Jade is a beautifully aesthetic restaurant with AMAZING food and service. Seriously one of the best experiences in a while. Highly recommend trying the diy handroll set and the jewelry box chirashi. Perfect for special occasions or date night!

Yelp
Classy and beautiful place suitable for small parties (2-4) and special occasions. Food is Japanese cuisine with some creative infusion of other Asian tastes. We tried 3 appetizers- Wagyu tartare, scallop crudo, and soy sauce mushrooms-- all good!! The wagyu tartare was definitely our favorite! For main courses we ordered : 1. the Rainbow Chirashi - very small, like a 5"x5" box... so you would expect the ingredients to be top quality, right? Well, sorry to say it was not so, the sushi was okay but the uni was not the quality you would expect in a high level restaurant. 2. Chutoro poke - - slightly bigger than the miniature Chirashi but also on the small size, medium quality sushi but overall good taste. 3. DIY hand rolls -- interesting plate with assortment of sashimi for you to make your own hand rolls but slightly small portion of rice and seaweeds. My daughter had to order an additional bowel of rice. Cocktail menu offers some interesting choices with Japanese liqueur. Service was super attentive and courteous, befitting to that of a high end restaurant! We came on a Saturday night and there was live DJ. I thought the guy was great and loved the music ! Oh, the nicest dishes of all was the Yuzu Pana cotta! Good size and yummy. Best part of our dinner! Overall I'd say it's a classy and hip dining experience ! I'd give them 5 stars if the seafood was a bit nicer in quality.

Yelp
There's nothing not to like about Jade. It has a gorgeous fairy tail-like atmosphere, innovative menu, delicious quality food, and friendly efficient service. The dining room is intimate and was full when we dined on Saturday evening. We really enjoyed the 9 piece nigiri set that included a nice variety of seafood including a melt in your mouth salmon belly. But the standout was the DIY hand roll platter, which came with nori papers, a bowl of sushi rice, and 4 "fillings" including spicy scallop, spicy tuna, real crab, and yellowtail. It was fun and different to roll your own hand rolls. There was a large party of 3 tables next to us that ordered several of the "Jade Dragon" platters, which were served on 3 foot long red dragon platters. Very dramatic! I highly recommend Jade for both a small intimate dinner or for a large gathering.

Yelp
Had an amazing dinner here with some really phenomenal Wagyu dishes and really fresh, decadent sushi. The drinks were also really good. Be sure to try the: -Wagyu Gyoza: this BLEW US AWAY -Wagyu don: PHENOMENAL -Diamond Roll: as decadent and tasty as the name suggests, this was a very tasty, delicious roll -Chirashi Box: tasty uni, great selection of sashimi and did not disappoint -Summer in Hayama: if you want a delicious flaming drink Great service, great ambiance, you can't go wrong here for a nice date night in Beverly Hills (close parking in a parking lot or valet options both avail) Did not try dessert because we were too full but we will be back next time!

Yelp
Every year we treat each other to a really nice Birthday dinner. I usually give her 3 to 4 restaurant options to choose from and since we like the same type of food. It all works out. This year was @jade.beverlyhills on Canon. They have been open since May this year. Of course, I did my homework and looked up the dishes beforehand. Luckily, most of the dishes she was picking was already on my list. I was really impressed with every dish that we had. Especially, the do it yourself hand roll. I would come back and dine by myself just to eat this. Drinks Mocktails Coconut pineapple $15 Yuzu Margarita $15 Appetizers Hamachi Crudo $28 Soy Marinated Mushrooms $19 Entrees JEWELRY BOX CHIRASHI DAILY SELECTION OF FISH, TAMAGO, UNI, IKURA $42 ONYX CRAB. UNAGI. SOUID INK. EEL SAUCE. MASAGO. NASTURTIUM $25 D.I.Y. HANDROLL PLATTER YELLOWTAIL, SPICY SCALLOP, SPICY TUNA, SNOW CRAB $45 Dessert Yuzu Panna Cotta $16

Yelp
Came here with one of my girls for a belated birthday dinner and we had a TIMMMEEEE! Lol a GOOD ONE So much that we stayed and laughed and drank for hours. The ambiance, decor, food, and service 10/10! Huge shoutout to our host Matt and server Kelly who were nothing short of amazing. Don't think twice just book the reservation! I will be back again soon!! Parking garage within feet away.

Yelp
A lovely underrated space with good quality fish and delicious drinks. We loved the ambiance here, and thought the food was great. We ordered: Okinawa old fashioned - delightful spin on an old fashioned with lychee undertones Summer in hayama - fun tropical drink Wagyu gyoza - the star of the show, these flavors were incredible!!!! Jewelry box chirashi - a great assortment of chef's choice fish, love that we got a fabulous piece of uni Wagyu don - yummy beef and good option for meat eaters Diamond roll - a very pretty roll with seared salmon and lobster

Yelp
I love that Jade has a beautiful ambiance AND good food. It's rare these days to find both. The place is truly very cute - perfect for a girls' night. Everything we ordered was very good and fresh. However, they are not very good about accommodating allergies. I was initially told that having a soy sauce allergy was no issue and that they can accommodate the dishes, but it turned out they actually couldn't and I was unable to eat most of the things on the menu as it was all premixed. That was truly the only downside. Drinks were decent, though my spicy skinny margarita tasted a bit like black licorice. Definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Very beautiful and romantic Japanese fusion restaurant. Saw on social media and knew I had to try it myself. Fell in love with the ceiling decor with its soft puffy cloud like stucco accents with lights that twinkled green and purple lighting. Very stunning and celestial in some ways. Ordered several items on the menu as my girlfriend and I wanted to try them all. Here's my take on each dish: 1. Hamachi Crudo: hamachi sashimi dressed with citrus ponzu sauce and a touch of chili flavor was perfect. Delicious. 2. Wagyu don: sliced Wagyu meat served on top of rice bowl seasoned with shallots, pickled onion, and wasabi aioli. The Wagyu was ok but had better. Wasn't too sure how to eat it but mixing the rice/shallot/onion bowl with the dressing before serving tasted better. Be sure to mix the base with condiments first and then layer a slice of Wagyu on top of the rice mix and serve. 3. Chutoro poke: standard poke bowl with tuna, seaweed, pickled diakon, seasoned cucumber, and furikake with ponzu dressing. Good but had better poke bowl for half the price. Felt overpriced for what we had. 4. Jewelry box chirashi: beautifully served in a small square dish with ancient Asian art. As for all chirashi bowls it has a bed of rice topped with salmon and yellowtail square bite (like you would see in poke bowl), ikura, and four generous serving of Uni (my favorite sushi). The dish was ok but price point didn't seem too bad as four servings of Uni would cost be about that much outside as well. Oh yes and they top it with gold sprinkles 5. D.I.Y. Hand roll platter: recommend this dish to share. Works well as an appetizer in my opinion. The dish comes with about 6 pieces of seaweed to wrap your own hand roll with the amount of fish vs rice ratio as you please. The fish served includes scallop, yellowtail, spicy tuna, and crab meat with unagi sauce. Easy to eat with perfect flavor. 6. We also finished our dinner with an excellent dessert but can't recall what is was called. Was actually the highlight of the night. But attaching the pic below

Yelp
Everytime we come here, we always have a 10/10 experience. Our servers (Corinne & Soyloo) check in with us consistently and offer friendly service with stellar recommendations. The quality of the food is so so fresh (we are las vegas based) and the fish just melts in your mouth. I love the ambience and vibes which offers a moody environment but also aids in being able to enjoy the food. Please make your way here if you get the chance!

Yelp
The place is really pretty , nice decor and a cozy vibe. It's definitely a good spot for a nice evening out just for the ambiance. That said, the food was a bit disappointing. The menu felt pretty limited, and honestly, nothing blew me away. I did like the hamachi crudo and the Jade and Ruby roll , those were pretty good. But the wagyu tartare was a big no for me. Tasted like it was days old and had no flavor at all really not what I was expecting. Customer service was good, and the drinks were solid. I had the Mt Jude and Beverly Blossom, and my friend had the Yuzu Margarita , all tasty and well-made. Honestly, I don't think I'd go back.

Yelp
I can't say enough about dining at Jade Beverly Hills--everything from the food to the ambiance was amazing. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a girls' night out.

Yelp
Lately every time I'm in Beverly Hills, I see this place and I've always wanted to try it. Inside it's decorated like you're in a fairyland. It's pretty small and fills up at night time with large groups. They also have a bar area where the head bartender Maverick makes the best drinks. I came with a friend and we ordered the Okinawan Old Fashioned, Yuzu Margarita, Assorted Sashimi which came with Smashed Cucumbers & Miso Soup. We also ordered the Spicy Tuna Crisp, Diamond Maki Roll, and Jade Maki Roll. The drinks were fabulous. Sashimi was fresh, cucumbers ok, soup was good, the spicy tuna crisp was really good and different. The diamond maki roll was pretty pricey and came with caviar and gold flakes but I didn't really care for it. The sauce tasted like basic mayonnaise, but I absolutely loooved the Jade Maki roll. It was my favorite dish of the night. We were stuffed so didn't get dessert but I can't wait to come back and try some of their other food and drinks. The staff is nice and our waitress Kelly was excellent. It's only been open about a month so I can't wait to see what else they bring to the table. P.S - this spot is small so keep your eyes open or you might pass it. There's not much parking in front but there's a parking structure around the corner where you can park for about $5.

Yelp
Hey foodie friends! I've discovered an absolute gem in Beverly Hills - it's called Jade and they've redefined Japanese cuisine in the most spectacular way. Imagine a modern Victorian vibe - it's like stepping into a luxurious, elegant space with plush velvet seats, beautifully detailed wallpaper and a magnificent ceiling. They've taken traditional Japanese dishes and given them a modern twist with bold new flavors. Their Sushi is so fresh and tasty. Their Wagyu beef was perfection and paired with their house-made sauces it just takes it to another level. Even if you're vegan or vegetarian, Jade has you covered. The combination of exquisite food, luxurious ambiance, and impeccable service makes Jade a must-visit spot in Beverly Hills.

Yelp
The decor is lovely - sort of under the sea themed. The space is smaller than i expected. There was a DJ spinning on a Saturday night. The tables are super small - but they did bring out an extra table to fit our dishes. Customer service is great. Corrine - our server, was very attentive and nice. Food wise - I would say that it is more geared to Japanese cuisine more than anything. Lots of innovative seafood dishes. If you're a sushi lover, you will like this place. Most of the the dishes are prepared raw. The steak Wagyu was flavorful and tender. It's worth to check out for sure.

Yelp
Giving this place 5 stars! Great food & such a cute restaurant! Heard Heard about this new restaurant off of Santa Monica Blvd and Canon in Beverly Hills, JADE, a fantastic new Japanese restaurant! We visited on a Wednesday night & it was fairly busy! For starters: We enjoyed the Edamame with shiso vinaigrette, The Soy Marinated Mushrooms, and my favorite, the Corn Cheese- which was absolutely delicious. For the main course we tried the Wagyu Don which is a rice bowl with tender Wagyu beef, egg, and shallots, was very satisfying & the chicken bowl which was also juicy and flavorful. Felt like we needed to try some sushi so we went ahead & tried the waitress recommendation which was the Jade Roll which was SO GOOD! Although there wasn't a dessert on the menu we finished w/ the chefs recommendation! Very beautiful place and excellent service. A must-visit for top-notch Japanese dining in Beverly Hills. We can't wait to return!

Yelp
A first time exploration. Delightful food: enchanting miso soup and sashimi dishes; less than very cold beer (bottle only). We were asked to move to a different table--at least half an hour after settling in and enjoying the first two courses--due to an error at the front desk. Moved to the most distant table in the back. No accommodation. No compensatory offer. No "May we offer you a _____ for our error and your inconvenience?" The remote table location rendered us out of the attentive service orbit of our server, which prolonged the request for and receipt of additional items--we had to request the busboy to ask for the server to come by, twice. Delightful food--when delivered--yet disappointing service and hospitality. Perhaps worthy of a second chance...

Yelp
Jade Beverly Hills is a total vibe! The cozy, beautiful décor makes you want to linger, and the location couldn't be more perfect. The food? Absolutely outstanding -- from classic sushi flavors to creative vegan options, everything bursts with flavor. Cocktails are next-level; don't miss the Tokyo Mule or Beverly Blossom, and definitely ask for the chef's daily special. Service is warm and attentive, adding to the overall great experience. Bonus: public parking is just south of the entrance on Canon Drive with 2 hours free -- total win!

Yelp
Jade Beverly Hills has to be one of the most breathtaking restaurants I have ever been to. I went with a friend for my birthday and felt transported into a fairy tale. The decor is extremely classy and tasteful. The food was delicious and presented with elegance to match the decor. The cherry on the top, was the service. Soyol was so warm, attentive and extremely kind. It's rare to have such a pleasant server with impeccable timing I felt incredibly special for my birthday. I look forward to my next dining experience at Jade! I highly recommend the happy hour. My favorite from the small plates was the Wagu potsticker!

Yelp
On the corner of Santa Monica and Cannon. A bit tucked in so you might miss it. Friendly staff and cute cozy design. Food came out really fast once ordered, but it was good. Some main dishes come with a side of the cucumber appetizer, so would have been nice if we were told that so we wouldn't have ordered it separately. The miso soup was on the sweet side, but all in all, the meal was tasty and the service was great!

Yelp
Ordered take out and while the food was great, the serving sizes were really small. Also did not include condiments as ordered. Ww would definitely eat there again.

Yelp
Jade Beverly Hills was a standout on my LA trip. Beautiful space, thoughtful plating, and flavors that feel dialed in. The Spicy Tuna Crisp is a must, the 9 piece nigiri was clean and precise, and the Diamond & Ruby rolls hit that luxe, layered note. Wagyu Don was the favorite, rich and comforting. Easy recommendation for a polished sushi night.

Very pleasant decor and interesting restaurant that fits the vibe of the cuisine. 3) Service- sooo attentive and kind. Our server was a very lovely young lady who helped with our decisions. Yelp
Had my birthday lunch here and the owners are so nice and accommodating. They stayed open past their lunch business hours to accommodate our party. It's a smaller establishment but the decor is so cute and food is great. Highly recommend.
